Some of the stuff you see on here is honestly absurd, this second time i've now seen you have a go at someone because of ratings lol, if people come on here and provide threads for the benefit of hundreds of people to use and help with their clubs on sm, why can you not just appreciate it and move on. first it was rahul couldn't contribute anything to sm because he gets a fair few predictions wrong, well fk me what do you expect from a kid who is reviewing practically every relevant league in the world, he is going to get every prediction right? now you're having a go at this guy because he puts a question mark on some players potentially rising, bloody hell what a crime. its shame not everybody is as smart and has the mass football knowledge as the great JMH. literally the most egotistical guy on the forums iv'e come across topped only boy Talentsearcher, seriously get your head out your own a** come back to earth and reality where when people make predictions their is a possibility they could be wrong. maybe you should look up the term constructive criticism and stop insulting people who put a lot of hard work in purely for the benefit of others and their love of the game. Good day to you sir.

Sigh. You asked me which players that I was referring to when I said that SM had missed some obvious risers and falls. I told you to check my thread. If you saw a ? by the player then you clearly must have known that it was not those players that I was referring to as being "obvious". So for you to specifically list them was bizarre really wasn't it. I put a question mark against them because I know how unpredictable SM can be. I got stick for even suggesting that SM might give Lemar a rise with people suggesting it was an insane idea. We all know what happened there. "Absolve myself from any backlash"? It is hardly daring for me to make predictions about a football game. I am not exactly coming out as a Trump supporter here. If I were so worried about what people thought, I would hardly post a thousand predictions in that thread. The predictions are there primarily to help myself as I find it easy to check on players from different countries and different positions. If it helps other people and they can cross-compare with Rahul's predictions then all the better. The ??? help me to remember who is a doubtful riser and may well help other people if they compare with Rahul's ideas. You obviously made it clear that you had an issue with that thread from the beginning though when you accused it of, "Destroying your gameworlds". Anyway, it's not complicated. I try to bring something positive to this board and the game. You make some good points, but I can't help feel that for whatever reason you are massively defensive of SM and seem almost affronted when they are criticized. I knock SM, but I have in the past contacted them when they have missed obvious risers and they have (to their credit) sometimes rectified their mistakes a few days later. That seems to be the most constructive approach to me, but you take your road and I will take mine.

This forum would be pretty dead without ratings discussion. The cynic in me would say they intentionally rubbish up some ratings and drop the odd controversial grenade here and there to increase discussion and site traffic. A pretty poor review of Ligue 1 concludes. Far too generous to some and missing obvious risers elsewhere. And the Bundesliga review starts with Jannes Horn getting a rise to 83 despite not being able to make Koln's first team...

It's also worth noting that Kieta will move to Liverpool and achieve failure.... It's what Liverpool do best, Weigl for sure! Also worth mentioning National teams, Germany are much stronger with a better chance of winning things.... Lots to be considered outside of player ability when it comes to this game.

Who are you? if you have something to say, at least tag me @noobiescouter Hardly 'being protective over SM' - Ive played SM for about 8 years now, what many are overlooking is we are having a mid season review - and its not even technically mid season yet. There arent going to as many major player rises/decreases as everyone seems to think based on the the games to date Too optimistic in dishing out rises in too short a term period. Sterling - too soon. I have explained this one fully on another thread. ,Icardi , - too soon but definitely at end of season Kane ,- too soon - but i dont think he will rise again for years, until he moves to a bigger club or Spurs have to win something. most 94 CFs in game are 28 years + Lukaku , - too soon, but will be definately up for 93 at the end of the season Falcao - absolutely not. Rüdiger ,- should of rose Bakayoko - not living up to his hype now at chelsea, yet....needs to improve All too low rated - But all correct for this season so far. Bar Rudiger. Should of rose to 90 IMO but he its not like he is a stand out pick in the Chelsea defence and Cavani 94 ? - Why drop someone who is performing to a very high level so far? If all these rose, would you all be saying +1 again at the end of the season? If so, where do you go in another 6 months? You cannot have everyone rated mid 90's

@Yuasa hi, yes, i added him to the game. Diminutive left sided attacker. Very good season of output at Londrina. Highest assists in Serie B. THE best young player in the league by far. Not sure about first team chances at Palmeiras though, Dudu & Keno are the main guys in his position, both extended contracts to 2020. Either another loan spell - prehaps a Serie A club, or again Serie B.

No excuses, if that is the end of the Italian review then it is pretty awful. I always complain about inconsistencies, and there have been plenty of them, but worse than that is the fact that they have rushed through the teams so fast. They have missed countless indisputable rises and falls.

The slightly bonkers review of Ligue 1 continues. Clearly too generous in some areas and too harsh in others. Nantes have had a pretty great season so far, but you wouldn't know it from their ratings...

Players have hit 90 in Brazil, in Neymar did, Dede, Damiao, Paulinho Its a possibility, say 30% chance. If Gremio & Luan do well in the Intercontinental Cup, it will boost his chance

Fully agree. Scandinavia needs to be done soon as the season has been over since November. The rest are fairly recently complete, ie Brazil last Sunday, J League last Saturday, MLS ends on the 9th, Colombia is in the final stages this week, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico next week. USA/Mexico Norway/Sweden. South Americas - Colombia, Chile, Uruguay Brazil, Japan / South Korea That should take us through to late Feb / March. Then to commence Holland, Portugal, Turkey , Belgium, Argentina

Haha. Listen to yourself. LEMAR was awesome last season. Great! He got a rise to 90 last season. It isn't last season...it is this season, and this season, LEMAR has been bang average at best. If we are basing it on last season, why did KEITA BALDE not get a +1 to 91? He had a similarly spectacular season last year (16 goals, 3 assists), he is the same age as LEMAR (22yo), he rose to 90 in the summer like LEMAR, he has roughly the same amount of minutes as LEMAR this season and has contributed to 4 goals...the same as LEMAR! For what it is worth, I don't think LEMAR or KEITA BALDE should have got 91 (and I own them!), this is just to show that your logic does not make sense and it makes me laugh that you dismiss STERLING's recent performances as 'form', yet... ...view Hudderfield's performances (since August!) as some kind of evidence of their intrinsic class! Agree with you on this. I still don't think he has really earned it...and if we are talking hype, I think hype is what really influenced LEMAR's recent rise.

The majority of the time SM are quite harsh on old players, I feel like his age is more the reason for his decrease IMO. But if he did decrease because of his injury then you have to ask the question as to how Reus has stayed at 94 for so long. Especially when you consider Juan Bernat got -1 just for being injured for 6 months

Nah. At first that might have been the case, but not when I specifically explained in bold letters and large font what the question marks meant. It is there on all of those big 5 predictions in black and white. And it gives more info that simply predicting a rise that only has a 25% chance of happening. For example, if I had simply predicted that Lemar would rise with no question marks then god knows how much stick I would have got.

I hadn't seen Sokratis rise and would have argued otamendi getting a rise but it's clear to see that they're a lot more generous with rises as in the past few years, before the jump from 91-92 was for the start of players becoming elite, now it's like any old player can acquire high ratings

Rather annoying how Lafont gets a +1 but loses 2mil value. Not that i'm going to sell him, but it just highlights how the system is somewhat 'broken' surely? Also thanks @Sir Rahul for your predictions, I'm sure i speak for many when i say how grateful we are to your hard work!
