https://www.transfermarkt.com/ousmane-dembele/leistungsdaten/spieler/288230 do these minutes justify a 91? and how does trophies matter in this discussion? Juve should be getting extensive rises then too English? People are free to speak whatever they want in my thread, but I'm just not sure how many could help if it ain't English. Respect? What's the point of doing extensive preds for all 100 big 5 leagues teams + many other minor leagues if you're going to ask again here? Opinion? Don't see the opinion in putting 88 players and asking for other's thoughts. others, if I'm wrong, please let me know. thanks.

you're kidding, right? I may have repeated, check my preds, for at least 30 times now. So this is the last time I'm doing it. Next time I'll straight up ignore. Honestly a lack of respect for my preds, which I like doing, but even then takes some time. This was never meant to be a 'buy, sell or keep' thread, but seeing as the rest of the forum is dead I don't mind. But this is a joke, 88 players that too. so yeah, just a short rant. thanks.

You don’t make that much money on these players if I’m honest. Top 5 leagues are where the biggest values/margins are. If you have 300k budget I suggest buying some of the following who will make good profit and also very good potential; Bisseck- Cologne Tatsuya Ito - Hamburg Kounde - Bordeaux Aguirregabiria - Alaves Ridle Baku - Freiburg? Mirko Antonucci - played few games for Roma now. Demirovic- Alaves Mavrop- Arsenal Kounde, Aguirregabira and Tatsuya will all get very good rises and have been regulars since Xmas. Should all get about plus 6/7

Thanks for your support and votes in the nomination stage- they made a difference. I’m thrilled to announce that I have made it to the final ten nominees for the Best Young Football Blogger award at the Football Blogging Awards 2018. In the final stage, there are two categories: Fan’s Vote and Judges’ Vote. I’m hoping to win either one. You can also vote on the FBAs website by using the following link (https://www.footballbloggingawards.co.uk/…/vote-now-footba…/) and selecting my name in the drop-down menu for Best Young Football Blogger. You can also vote on Twitter by copying and tweeting the below message: I am voting in @theFBAs for @rahulw_ to win the #FBAYoungBloggercategory #FBAs Winning would be pretty immense, and will contribute towards further progress and opportunities for me. Just going to add my opinion cause I think Rahul was well within his rights to say what he did. I'm sure Rahul knows he doesn't get 100% right and he's never said he does. But it does take time and effort that alot wouldn't be able to do. Asking people to stop posting multiple names that have already been given preds is fair I think. While debates I think are healthy, I've seen recently and not just in this prediction thread that people are being told their predictions are poor and so on. Maybe the posters who are critical should give the ratings a bash for us to see. I'd genuinly be interested in what they had to say and thought across the board. And finally I think I speak for most readers of the forum that we appreciate the hard work put in by rahul, monolithic and others. It's a great reference point to use while we research players.

Players who should rise but might not due to age: Falcao - 91 to 92 Fernandinho - 92 to 93 Milner - 90 to 91 Monreal - 90 to 91 Aspas - 90 to 91 Vardy - 90 to 91 SM is ageist. I don't mind the game doing big drops to older players when they are clearly past their best. Zlatan for example, deserved his big drop, as did Xavi, as will Iniesta. But players who are performing to the same level as younger players, like Fernandinho is compared to Ter Stegen for example. Both regulars in title winning teams in the best two leagues in the world. Then they should get the same rating for their performances.

When we scout young players who are attracting big clubs, we do it because they will one day play for giants and rise to be the best players in the game. Let’s take a look at different examples. Leon Bailey is attracting Bayern and just about all the big English clubs. Why will he rise? Because of this interest? No. Because he plays in a top division and is a top performer. arthur for gremio rose from 75 to 87 this past December. Is it because he was connected to Barcelona? No. He had just won the Libertadores and was MOTM in the final. Not to mention he was called up to for Brasil in 2017. Sessegnon, while voted POTY, is an uncapped player in a second division which is being given way too much weight in this forum. Championship teams cannot qualify for Europe. Rarely do Championship players play for their national team. Ruben Neves does, and he has probably maxed out at 86. I don’t think soccerwiki takes “interest “ into account at all nor should they.

Well I'm gonna go against the other replies so far and say I'd go for Oblak. He'll be 94 soon I think. Navas could well be replaced this summer, he's a bit of a liability at times. Umtiti is great and will rise, but there are more 91+ defenders around than 91+ keepers. Oblak would be a great buy.

Nah, Greece to come next. I've no idea after that. Personally, I would say it makes a welcome change after last season where they reviewed the big 5 too early. This year they can wait to see who is promoted and relegated and who has won honours.

Copied from Sir Rahul predictions on first page:- (My thinking as I just looked at the minutes today) Leipzig: Gulacsi +1 to 89 (SM & GK's are to my mind unpredictable) Orban +1 to 89 ...... Yes 2037mins Demme +1 to 89 ....... Yes 2017mins Halstenberg +1 to 89...... No only 1179mins Upamecano +1 to 88 ...... Yes 1995mins Klostermann +2 to 87 ...... Yes 1922mins Augustin +1 to 87 ...... Maybe 1087mins Laimer +1 to 86 ...... Probably Yes 1219mins Konate +2 to 82 ...... Yes 1047mins possibly +3/5??? as, (if Augustin goes to 87 for appx same minutes why not??) Note: I'm trying to be helpful as looked at the minutes & not in anyway being critical of Sir Rahul whose doing a great job here Many thanks SR Soccahappy

    Rahul W's rating predictions

To prevent it to be assumed, I’m not asking for predictions for those. I spent many hours making my own predictions. I just thought that might be an interesting topic to discuss and you do those things here too I noticed. The German football magazine Kicker chose it’s top Eleven for the just finished season, maybe some here are interested in that: Koen Casteels (Wolfsburg) – Jerome Boateng (Bayern), Naldo (Schalke), Mats Hummels (Bayern) – Charles Aranguiz (Leverkusen) - Nico Schulz (Hoffenheim), James Rodriguez (Bayern), Lars Bender (Leverkusen) – Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim), Serge Gnabry (Hoffenheim) – Robert Lewandowski (Bayern) That of course doesn’t mean those were automatically good buys. For example I had Casteels during the winter Rating Changes since he finally showed improvements in his play, but Soccermanager didn’t honor his improvements despite he is among the weakest rated goalkeepers in Germany, they let him stay. I personally think naming him the best keeper of the season is too much. His advantage was, that many players in the field in Wolfsburg played really disappointingly and so he tended to be the best player from Wolfsburg in matches. Goalkeepers often look better, the worse their colleagues play as they are often ineffected by bad team shapes. But I still think he should be rated way above the 86 he currently has. It seemed he finally had his breakthrough season. But I kind of doubt given no rating change in winter, that he will be a buy worth recommending. Since they didn’t improve his rating back then I would assume them to be sceptical enough on this player to only give him 87. It’s very interesting how different opinions on certain players can be. I also certainly wouldn’t name Nico Schulz as part of the Eleven of the season. He showed some nice improvements in the second part of the season in particular. But he also got some sunshine from how Hoffenheim played as a team. Yes he improved, but improving players tend to be hyped. I think there is other players on this position who have played better and/ore riper. For example no mather if David Alaba or Juan Bernat are playing for Bayern, you can clearly see they have a superior skill set although they weren’t lucky enough too be as much involved in goal scoring or assisting as Schulz or Max. So I think for this position they’ve rather been going with a hype here. Lars Bender is a player I would like to specifically address as well. Not because I disagree with Kickers choice, but because I disagree with Löw not taking him to Russia. From how he played this season Bender would have deserved it. But of course that’s not the way how it works. You don’t pick the best individual players, you gotta pick a team you think will be successful together, successful with the tactics you want to play. So I’m not gonna blame Löw for not taking him. Some strong players just have to stay at home, it’s always that way and I find it funny when coaches or fans get actually even furious about such squad decisions. If trainers would pick to either satisfy or spite public opinion, that’s what I think would actually be problematic. The important thing is a coach has a good plan, that he takes necessary steps to follow it through. But back to Lars Bender. I was surprised that apparently some people are fearing him to drop. He usually played really good when availabe for selection. He is a really reliable player who is in my opinion very important to the team. I would even call him the most important player in this years Leverkusen squad. The same as his brother Sven he has some tendencies to be injured and then miss some matches due to that. As long as the soccer manager admins do their job and note that his amount playing time was due to injuries, he shouldn’t be degraded. I personally even voted for a rise, since I think he is better than 90. His brother Sven Bender on the other hand I find worse than his current 90. He excelled at being a workhorse as a defensive midfielder. But those times are past. He nowadays usually plays a defender (maybe due to wearing off) and I don’t think he is as good at that job. Maybe there is the risk they might mix up those twins.

It's hard to compare these players. Each of them has a certain quality and potential. For me, the most concrete is Gelson Martins. Neres & Malcom, should go to bigger clubs. Pulisic & Lopes are in clubs that are in the transition phase. Lopes had a great season, but Pulisic somehow lost. We'll probably answer this question in the next season.

Honest opinion. What do people see in Pulisic? Bailey is a better player imo. Pulisic gets a lot of hype as he is American. Maybe I have misjudged but don’t see it just now. Even Rony Lopes has had a good season. Has to be Bailey and Lopes for me

okay, let's look at those two then. Bayern went one leg further than Barcelona. Bayern also play four league games lesser than Barca, and their cup games aren't two-legged. Tolisso has still played double Dembele's minutes. Dembele has played 895 minutes since the last review out of 33 games/2,970 minutes. That's 30%. Kovacic's 91 was a bit premature but he did play a lot last season and besides Madrid won the league and the CL. https://www.transfermarkt.com/mateo-kovacic/leistungsdaten/spieler/51471/plus/0?saison=2016 two rights don't make a wrong. I welcome your counter-argument @Floodstreet2017 indeed! Amavi cheers no prob yes, he'll be forced to leave when he hits level 5. honestly once he hits 4 you have to play him every game and hope for the best. cheers honestly my preds are based on stats/minutes, which are available to all and that post wasn't targetted at you. neither was it fully targetted at the guy who put up 88 players. look through all the previous pages and see how many times I write, 'check my preds'. that's my response to you. frankly this discussion is becoming more ridiculous and than asking me my opinions on 88 players, so thanks.

Nope. I agree. Some players don't peak until they are in their 30's. I thought the game was judged on performances, minutes etc. I don't see why age should hold players back from getting deserved rises

If aNapoli can win the league then it’s impossible to ignore. Definitely best centre half in the league Has to be. Been brilliant when called upon this season. Be more shocked if he doesn’t get 91. Baumgartl future German international. Diakhaby not been as consistent this year. Would expect Baumgartl to be higher rated after the next changes. Future Spain keeper. Already Spanish number 2 after 50 professional appearances tells you all you need to know. Expect 90 next changes. Miles better than likes of Leno and Sergio Rico who are 91 rating.

keep unless you are impatient that +13 should cover him for a while idk, monolithic would know he could but needs a move now that China seems to be confirmed I'd say -2. you can expect him to drop like a stone like Xavi.

Yep, when I was talking about the next two countries to be updated. I predicted Austria a few days ago and am happy to predict Switzerland to be next.

I'd say Bruno Fernandes. Even Diego Simeone said (before Atletico faced Sporting in the Europa league last round) that from all the Sporting team he would like to have Bruno Fernandes, and there are some really good talents there

I signed him 2 weeks ago purely because of his goalscoring record in the reserves. He scored his first goal in Serie A last week and got an assist this weekend. Very pleased
