Abdelhamid El Kaoutari
I was watching some french highlights a couple of week ago and i came across this guy who I think will definetely get a rise when the french ratings come about.

Youth Career
At a young age Abdelhamid moved from Morocco to France to pursue a career in football. He moved to france when he was about 12 years old and after a couple of month in France, he was spotted by a Montpellier scout while playing in an under 15's tournament.He jumped at the chance to join Monpellier and he started training in the Academy.

Reserves
After spending nearly 3 years in the academy from 2006-2008, he got the opportunity to play in a reserve match and came on as a late minute sub and played and trained with them for about 9 months before getting the chance to play for the main team.

Debut against Fc Gueugnon
On the 9th of May 2008 El Kaoutari made his first professional debut coming on as a sub for Ait Fana on the 66 minute and played in a 2-1 win. That was the second last game of the season and he didn't feature in the last game due to a slight knock in training.

2008/2009 season
The following season he played seven games, 3 of them in the French cup and the rest in the league. He played a total of 592 minutes including 2 extra times. Again most of the game time in the league came at the back end of the season when Monpellier already claimed promotion back to ligue 1. He played really well and the manager was full of praise for him saying that he was impressed with how well he's been performing and rewarded him with a five year contract.

2009/2010 season
So far in the season he has already featured 2 times and is really starting to make the left back position his own. He came on for the 35 year old Collin in the second game of the season and played the last 8 minutes of that game and started the last game and played the whole 90 minutes in a 3-0 win.

International Career
He has featured 2 times for the french under 19s but said that once he's turned 21 he would opt to play for Morocco. This was what he had to say.
“For the moment I want to continue with the French team, since I already started something with them and especially since we’re definitely going to play the Euro’s. However, afterwards my choice is clear. It will be Morocco, since it’s my country,”

Nice write up mate (repped), regardless if who found what etc

Several threads are better than just the one IMO. If it was me I wouldn't care, but some people really get a 'bee in their bonnet' about players they have already mentioned.
