Huddersfield Town Go Top!
After Wednesday nights result at home to Forest, The Terriers jumped into top spot after Colchester slipped up at Tranmere, meaning that the new look Huddersfield team are top by a point. Huddersfield face Oldham away from home tomorrow night which should be an interesting match.
Player News: Miroslav Stoch 75 < 84
Due to Miroslav Stoch's recent rise, he will replace A Mounier on the left wing for the next match.

Re: Huddersfield Town Diary.
Huddersfield Slip Up But Colchester Fail To Capitalise!
After Huddersfield had a poor result away at Oldham, many had expected Colchester to retain their place at the top of the table, but they received a 4-1 drubbing at home to Derby County meaning Huddersfield are now 2 points clear despite failing to win. However the chasing pack of Plymouth, Nottingham Forest and Charlton all made up ground.
1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 19 30 40
2 Colchester United 19 8 38
3 Barnsley 19 15 35
4 Nottingham Forest 19 11 35
5 Plymouth Argyle 19 9 34
6 Charlton Athletic 19 12 33

Huddersfield Delight As Eyre Rejects Wolves!
When Huddersfield fans woke up this morning to find that recently managerless Wolverhampton Wanderers had offered manager Michael Eyre the chance to manage in the top division. However just a couple of hours later the Huddersfield board were able to confirm that Eyre had rejected the opportunity as he wanted to continue his challenge to get the Terriers promoted.

Huddersfield stretched their advantage at the the top of division 3 to 5 points tonight after a 9 goal thriller at the Galpharm stadium. Huddersfield were leading at half time 4-0 but a gutsy Plymouth side tried valiantly to fight their way back into the match, it was back at 4-3 at one stage but Man of the match Luiz Muriqui sealed the match with his hat trick goal.

Team Line Up: (3-5-2): Delac 6, Apodi 8, Welton Felipe 6, Toloi 8, Sandro 7, Pehlivan 8, Paulo Henrique 9, Elias 9, Muriqui 9, Gilmar 10, Stoch 9

Huddersfield maintained 5 points clear at the top of division 3 after a thumping win away to Norwich at Carrow Road. Toloi opened the scoring after just 7 minutes and by half time Huddersfield had motored their way to 5-0. The games pace slowed slightly in the second half but the Terriers still managed to add 2 more goals, including a debut strike from young Wallyson. Second placed Barnsley smashed Milwall 6-0 so the points and goal difference standings remain the same between the two sides. Huddersfield next play away to Gillingham, a side that actually beat them in the reverse fixture back in August.

Transfer Rumours Excite Huddersfield Fans!
Huddersfield fans will all be sat at home filled with excitement as new and popular manager Michael Eyre revealed there will be some "interesting" transfer incomings in the coming days. Huddersfield have already captured German trio Thomas Muller, Sebastian Langkamp and Manuel Junglas in recent days, however none of which were involved in Saturdays win over Norwich. All this transfer gossip has been sparked by the outgoings of some of Eyre's first signings - Dobias, Costea, Lacny, Sobiech, Kasprzik and Bruno Coutinho have been sold on in recent days. One of the names being linked his Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez, but Eyre refused to give any particular names.

Huddersfield Sign English International!
Glen Johnson Signs For Huddersfield In Transfer Shock
Huddersfield Town have pulled off one of the biggest transfer shocks in recent times, after Michael Eyre secured the signature of English full back Glen Johnson. Some sceptics have questioned the timing of the move with the world cup being less than a year away. Johnson responded by saying, "I feel that if i play well here than i am still a contender for a world cup place, the minute the gaffer spoke to me i knew this was a project i wanted to join. I am really happy about the move as i had not been enjoying my football at Juventus". Huddersfield paid a reported £7.7 million for the right back, a new club record fee.

Huddersfield have pulled another major shock out of the bag in a matter of just hours. fans were already sky high after the signing of Glen Johnson was confirmed but this news must have sent them over the edge. Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez has swapped Spain for the Galpharm Stadium in an estimated £5 million move. He was unable to comment due to poor English but manager Michael Eyre had this to say, "I feel like today has been a real success, our teams quality has been vastly improved by the two new recruits and i look forward to see them in their first training session tomorrow morning. Re: Huddersfield Town Diary.
Rumours Circulate Huddersfield Are Closing In On New Forward
All the transfer rumours at Huddersfield have resurfaced today after it appears manager Michael Eyre is still in the market for one more major deal, many people belive it to be a striker and there has been lots of links with high profile forwards. Possible targets include Hulk, Pazzini, Chamakh, Jovetic, Balotelli and Gignac. There has been no official comment but at the moment there is a big transfer merry-go-round at the Galpharm Stadium and lots of people believe this will lead to a capture of a star center forward. Huddersfield are set to play Gillingham away tonight, Gillingham have had a good season so far and sit just outside the playoffs.

Im also looking forward to the next few days, as i expect to see more new faces". Re: Huddersfield Town Diary.
Huddersfield Shock England With Record Transfer!
Huddersfield Sign Fiorentina Wonderkid Jovetic
Once again Huddersfield have delved into the transfer market and pulled off another major coup. This time it takes the form of Montenegran wonderkid Stevan Jovetic, who has just turned 20. He cost an estimated club record fee of £10 million, but it has yet to be confirmed. This also leaves manager Michael Eyre with a nice selection headache over which forward to play out of Muriqui and Gilmar - Muriqui being top performer but Gilmar being top goalscorer.
