Thanks for this great thread. Really interesting to read.

Out of interest, does anyone think that becoming an international makes a difference to the rating. For example, there have been a few new caps this weekend and wondered whether people would predict a rise?

Hedgardo Marin (Mexico) 78

Jesus Daniel Gallardo (Mexico) 77

Dimitar Pirgov (Bulgaria) 77

Martin Raynov (Bulgaria) 77

Liam Graham (New Zealand) 74

I'm sure there have been others too...

I don't think international caps will make a great difference to ratings unless it is a major international tournament we are talking about or the better national teams.

I don't think Marin will see a rise but Gallardo has a good chance of rising to 80 with continued playing time.

Pirogue should rise to 80 and Raynov will stay or rise to 78.

Graham will probably stay at 74 unless he gets increased playing time.

Boss, my predictions about Argentina Teams.

Augusto Batalla from 78 to 82 (now Batalla is the main River goalkeeper)

Bautista MERLINI from 73 to 77 (start 3 games, and allways is a first change)

Manuel GUANINI from 72 to 77/78 (start in the first team of GELP)

Luis OLIVERA from 70 to 75 (promoted to the first team this year, start 1 game)

Facundo QUIGNON from 78 to 79/80 (was transferred to other club at June, good level, start in the first team all games)

Tomás ANDRADE from 75 to 77 (good talent, started 3 games and sub others)

Interesting comments. What are your thoughts about Cristian Pavon at Boca?

Yes, Cristian Pavon is a very good player. Start in the first team with good performance and goals. I think rise from 80 to 83 at the next revition.

A couple of other players that I spotted in Argentina are:

Nicolas Tripichio (Velez Sarsfield) 77

Lucas Diarte (Estudiantes) 80

Good spots, hope the list will be useful to others as well. Don't think i'll be doing predictions for the Argentinean league soon, maybe towards the end of the year.

What do you think about Davy Roef?

Will rise to 85 if he continues to start. Thereafter, he'll probably need a move to a bigger club.

Fantastic thread! Also, does anyone know when the SPL is likely to be reviewed?

Just got reviewed not too long ago, maybe end of the year or next year

i wonder why you left santos' rodrigao out of the list? any particular reason? i've been waiting for the guy to get a raise for about a month now. started a few games, scored some goals while oliveira was on the sidelines. still getting some minutes coming in as a sub and i think its likely he'd get to start some games as the season draws near. imo his ability is more like 78-80 rather than the 73 he has now.

also there's a guy named luiz fernando at atletico go who's been playing fairly regularly and has decent real life ability. he also deserves more than the 70 he has now. maybe 75-76, especially if his team manages to promote to serie a

Thanks for pointing Rodrigao out, probably missed out on him as the list is comprehensive but definitely not exhaustive. Have added him to the list and credited you.

As for Fernando, he's playing in Serie B and this list is only for Serie A players.

What do you think of Lucas Lima (82) of Nantes? 22 chances created (third best in French League), 43 tackles (the most in French league), and 4 man of the match in just 9 league games, for the 16/17 season. Played every single minutes for his club.

And cheers for the awesome work
