    Rahul W's rating predictions

Im from Argentina, keep an eye on this: River: Exequiel PALACIOS +7 (some caps on NT with great performance) G. MONTIEL +4 S. BORRE +2/3 F. ARMANI +1/2 (best Argentinian GK at the moment) Independiente: F. BUSTOS +3 (some caps on NT) A. FRANCO +3 (some caps on NT) M. MEZA +2 (some caps on NT and played WC) Racing: R. SARAVIA +3 (best player today against Brazil) Boca: Is not playing well and players has high ratings... i think W. BARRIOS and N. NANDEZ are best perform right now, also S. VILLA could be the biggest increase and A. ALMENDRA a big prospect. E. ANDRADA was having good performances as starter GK but now is injured i think the rest of the year. San Lorenzo: I think RENIERO is going to be the highest increase, perhaps with +5. Huracan: Keep and eye on foreign players: S. SALCEDO, O. ALDERETE and A. ROA. Biggest promises are: E. PALACIOS (River), A. ALMENDRA (Boca), M. PELLEGRINI (Estudiantes), P. DE LA VEGA (Lanus), J. PORTAU (Estudiantes), Not at DB yet: L. BALERDI (Boca, wanted by Barcelona and Juventus), T. ALMADA (Velez, only 17 years, great future) and G. VERON (Argentinos Jurnirors, only 17 years like Almada and performing well, also scored a goal).

    Rahul W's rating predictions

I'll try to answer TL & MF:- My spreadsheet (1000 players+) has evolved over maybe 6/7years. It basically tries to predict how SM decides who gets rises and who doesn't. So I kept records of minutes played as percentage of the possible minutes to be played & noticed how much a 90 rated player needed as opposed to a 70 rated player ( and every rating in between). It wasn't exactly 100% correct but it was close. I then noticed that top clubs Real Madrid etc needed less minutes than say Huddersfield or even Everton (the Pecking Order) and I tried to simulate that too. This improved the predictions again but it is an evolving changing thing like Leicester might be near relegation 1 season & then Top the next, so it's variable by season to season. I have had a lot of success with it & my 3 clubs now have around 1.8 billion each and hit the maximum around 2.1Billion most seasons at some time b4 I start buying again (251Max). SM miss a lot every review like I know this player should definitely get a rise and they miss him. It almost seems like SM do it purposely to make it harder for such as us to make money buying & selling. Also minutes for players over 89/90 are less important than performances & winning titles, scoring goals, assists etc. I've recently started trying to add this to my spreadsheet in a small way but it is not as accurate as yet & might not be for years. The higher percentage in the last column is the final predictor about how safe it is, at this particular point in time but doesn't account for SM messing up or just missing some players altogether. Nothing is 100% but I try to improve each season.... I think such as Sir R & many others on here must work in a similar way, I'd be interested in their views but they may not be willing to share their secrets?????

The interesting things here are that JB Larsen need not play any more minutes this season and his rise would be less but still maybe +5 as opposed to +7. Main reason being 75rated playing for a top team. Max Phillip on the edge(-0.1) & could be down to performance wether SM give him a rise depending also on minutes from now to the review. Similar with Dahoud. Sancho upwards seem pretty sure of deserving a rise I would have thought. Edit: I see Akanji has an injury thought to keep him out while 9Nov . If he's back then it will NOT STOP him getting a rise 🙂 I notice Maruis Wolf is in for a +1 in the first page of Sir Rahul's predictions. It's still so early for stats that if he played 180minutes in the next 2 matches his Safe rating would rise to +1.2. If he doesn't play then each game his rating will get worse, as he hasn't played since the 22nd of Sept 😟

Over 1000 minutes now this season, but still not added to the database ... Looks like a top talent. Also, worth noting that Daniel James (70) has really progressed recently at Swansea. He's looked unreal in the last few games (our best player in three of the last four matches) and is our biggest threat going forward at the minute. He's got two assists and won a penalty in his last two games, and made his way in to the full Wales squad again for the most recent international break.

Lo Celso & Fabian Ruiz Pavard Coman is injuried, Guedes not playing much. Brandt is in the shadow of Havertz. Under the best option for me. But, if you can trade Guedes for Havertz - don't hesitate! No. Stones Sell Gaya & Robertson - and buy Shaw & Robertson again. *if Valencia and Liverpool are external clubs. And if you think your competition will not steal Robertson. Ronaldo & Rodrygo.

France should start end of November Are you mad? Cutrone and Milenkovic will do well to be 89 rated next summer. Marq all the way and could hit 93 eventually.

I was able to get on the computer today, so had a look at the chances of a rise for some of the Man City players purely based on minutes & a tiny-tiny bit for goals and assists. The final column on the right of line 2 says for Laporte that he has 43.3% more minutes than he needs to get a +1. At the bottom I have shown exactly what that means e.g IF Laporte didn't play any more minutes and missed 690mins he could miss out on his rise. So as it stands he is the safest bet followed by the GK on 43% (But I'd warn that Sm miss out a lot of Gk's for some reason). Anyway it shows a safety margin, if you like. Sane looks like he will probably miss-out unless he ups his appearances between now and the Review (Mid November'ish). Hope it helps forumers.... I tried to Edit the above but it took both away so I'm stuck with 2. Sorry Socca Also Mahrez the 1620 minutes is wrong & should be 900 Making his safety number -2.1% ie close. Phew!! That'll do me for today at least....

Still Ndombele Strakosha for me Looked great to me a year or so ago and was very good in the Bundesliga last season. There was a lot of hype about him a while back but he seems to have gone totally off the radar recently. Was thinking of selling him myself as there are probably players who are more sure to rise in the near future but for some reason I still kept hold of him. As far as I can tell he's made 0 apps this season (no idea why) so I may look elsewhere if I were you. On a related note, does anybody who's deep into German football actually know why he (RETSOS) isn't playing? Tried to google it myself but can only find old google articles and no news about injuries etc. TIA

I thinks it's his way of showing off his team than actually asking about risers. One doesn't need to worry about risers with that team.
