    Under 21 player discussion

A place to talk about younger players getting gametime, call-ups, transfers, scoring goals etc. The forum does not have so many active threads and when building teams most people like to buy younger players and for this it is good to know what is going on. There are decent articles on young players on the rise quite a lot but there is not really a place to discuss or post them. Feel free to add in content and discuss at your leisure. #wonderkids

I am so grateful for the predictions that you provide, Sir Rahul, I do not worry when the outcomes of few players do not go the way we want. If more people appreciated the fact that rating players as an art, not a science, they would be more content with the oddities that this game throws our way (as in real life). Keep up the good work, and know that your ongoing efforts are greatly valued by many of us here in the forums. Cheers The Madhatter. (Buying and selling based on forum predictions since 2008!)

Very small overall effect on the whole squad ie the higher the total of Morale the better but minimal difference on results maybe up to 2 to 3% SW are up to Hertha, Mainz andF. Dusseldorf this morning. Should start next 2days?? Germany Schulz will rise and then T.Hazard will too in December review 87 yes 88 my guess 40% Aouar Very surprising rise, maybe anticipating transfer to Atletico??? LJ I'd say Me too! May2009 ... Hurrah 😆 No too inconsistent but at his best and maintaining it he will rise eventually. Looks lazy in many ManU matches this season with shades of brilliance, maybe looking for another big transfer Payday!! Not selected or played enough. Yes it will be crazy if he doesn't rise this review! Undoubtably Kante, been played out of position in a lot of games but still gives everything he's got.

Flip side to that is your basing everything on 1 season, okay let's do that... Sancho has had 1 outstanding season, Dybala has had 1 poor one. What's to say it wont be the exact opposite next season? Dybala is a very interesting problem, hes basically hamstrung by 2 of the best players the game has ever seen, at club level Juve have completely change the style to suit CR7 (tbh I thought Higuain-Dybala was working quite well) and at international level Argentina is built around Messi! I'd still have Dybala, hes proved hes world class in the last 4-5 seasons, Sancho (whilst hes been brilliant) still has it all to prove

Jorgey 20% Hazard No but possible if signs for Real Mad, b4 Spains done, not likely tho say 30/40% if signs Kepa Yes Tough but Partey more likely to rise I would have thought Emy. SW today:- about 8 pages x 20 players edited. including Wolfsburg, E. Frankfurt and just a few from B. Monchengladbk plus the usual misc., SM still slow into their stride... but we should see them coming thru day by day now as they are working from SW last Fridayish with what came thru to SM today Cologne, Nurnberg, Paderborn, Hanover, Stuttgart etc.

Yes all Big5 usually start with promoted clubs (2nd Division) then work up the "Top Division" which still includes the relegated clubs. ie Paderborn SW did last thursday then Stuttgart and just today it was Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim. Hope this is clear but sometimes the playoffs haven't finished yet and Union Berlin was edited just today in S.Wiki Yes Indeed thanks for confirmation - appreciated. Hakimi will rise with Dortmund which SW hasn't reached yet. the URL Below is not the English one, this is https://en.soccerwiki.org/changes.php Click edited Player Data: https://en.soccerwiki.org/changes.php?action=playerdata&subaction=edit Dont forget to scroll down https://it.soccerwiki.org/changes.php?action=playerdata&subaction=edit Chievo should be first club to be done with Serie A ie bottom club of Serie A. Sounds peculiar when u write it out but SM/SW usually start at the bottom and work their way-up after they have done the promoted clubs.

Thank you for caring, so thoughtful of you Milanista but.... Socca is NEVER Unhappy. How can he be to have lived so long, have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and still be walking on this great BIG BEAUTIFUL SOCCA-PLANET? Liverpool 4 Barca 3 etc of late winners (Spurs etc) and a Champions League Final to come .... Delicious!! 😊😊😊😊 Can't wait ... Yippee!! I can't wait, I have very positive thoughts about his future at Andeelicious!! Should stay BUT maybe a win in C/Lg final and plays well a rise?? Might be stretching things BUT U never know Well spotted Sir! Tough one particularly with 3for2 value as things stand. Kimmich is such a "Prize" to have tho, so ok Kim & Erick. Brilliant wasn't he? Another tough one, see your logic but on the other side 2465 minutes in League and benched 10times (8 since 2Feb), 2goals, 6 assists. Then again Valencia finished 4th so lets say 60% rise. Have to admit haven't seen him play so If anyone can confirm he's played consistently well last half of season it might just clinch it! Edit: Forgot PLUS: Valencia won the Cup too beating Barca and Soler played throughout! Sorry to end on a downer BUT SM seem to be lazily dragging their feet on SW with the German review it seems to have stalled over the Holiday weekend. Next to nothing done since Friday. SM=Slow Motion again.... At least Paderborn came thru today from last week

Torreiera borderline. In a typically Arsenal season, we have threatened to be good and then just not been. Torreira has been a shining light along with the strike partners, and imo deserves 91, even in a 5th placed side. Europa final and 5th might be enough, im sure an EL win would almost seal it.

    Serie A - Serie B - Primavera 2018/19

Serie A is over and yesterday gave some verdicts: Atalanta is 3rd for the first time in his history, best attack, 103 goals this season and a great way to play football. Congratulation to all of them that made something unbelieveble. I hope Atalanta will take a club like Barcelona or Bayern Munchen in the group stage, it would be an honor. Inter took the last spot in CL, like always "crazy Inter" was going to waste a good season, but arrived 4th, it seems Conte could be their new coach, it would be good for them. Milan 5th despite the investments of january hasn't reached CL, but missed few occasions in topic moments. Roma 6th due to a bad season, Olsen that played almost the whole season despite all his mistakes, a Pastore "desaparecido". The only positive thing is Zaniolo. Genoa, Fiorentina and Udinese are saved, despite their bad season they keep Serie A. Empoli is the last team to go to Serie B, they did their best but it wasn't enough

I wouldn't read much into it personally. Brandt got edited and didn't get a rise. For league reviews, they seem to edit pretty much every player in the squad whether they get a rise or not. SW only really becomes useful for predicting rises like the Ajax bunch when they're edited outside of their designated review period.

The In-form youngsters in 2019 from the Guardian a couple months back. 10) Kai Havertz, 19, Bayer Leverkusen Peter Bosz’s arrival as Bayer Leverkusen head coach just before Christmas has had a galvanising effect on a number of his players. Kai Havertz has certainly profited from the Dutchman’s possession-based approach. The teenager, now operating in a midfield three, has scored in three of his last four leagues games and boasts a pass accuracy of 87.4% in 2019. Rating: 7.42 9) Sofiane Alakouch, 20, Nîmes Nîmes began the year with an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to third-tier Lyon-Duchère in the Coupe de France, but they have bounced back strongly. Sofiane Alakouch got the ball rolling for the club in their first league game of the year, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Nantes. The 20-year-old right-back has also been in great form defensively, with a whopping 41 tackles and interceptions combined in his five league appearances so far this year. Rating: 7.50 😎 Tyler Adams, 20, RB Leipzig When RB Leipzig secured the signature of Tyler Adams from New York Red Bulls, few expected the 20-year-old to break into the starting line-up so soon. However, the USA international has started three of his four appearances in the Bundesliga so far, winning 16 and completing eight dribbles as he proves his ability in and out of possession in the middle of the park. Rating: 7.50 7) Marcus Rashford, 21, Manchester United Marcus Rashford has been in scintillating form since Ole Gunnar Solskjær took over at Manchester United in December. The England striker has scored in four of his five league appearances in 2019, with no player taking more shots since the turn of the year. In fact, 47% of his shots this season have been in his last five games. Rating: 7.51 6) Nicolo Zaniolo, 19, Roma Nicolo Zaniolo ended 2018 strongly, scoring his first senior goal in Serie A on Boxing Day, and he has stepped it up again in 2019. The 19-year-old has scored two more league goals for Roma and he also hit a match-winning brace in the Champions League against Porto. He has also set up two further goals in his five league starts in 2019. Rating: 7.74 FacebookTwitterPinterest Roma beat Porto 2-1 in the Champions League thanks to two goals from Nicolo Zaniolo. Photograph: Chris Brunskill/Fantasista/Getty Images 5) Gianluigi Donnarumma, 19, Milan After an outstanding campaign in 2016-17, Gianluigi Donnarumma regressed last season and many began wondering if the young keeper had been overhyped. He started this season well and his form in recent months has been excellent. Remarkably still just 19 years of age, the Italy international has been key to Milan’s assault on the top four in Serie A, conceding just twice in five league appearances since the turn of the year. Rating: 7.82 4) Achraf Hakimi, 20, Borussia Dortmund When Real Madrid allowed defender Achraf Hakimi to leave the club on loan in the summer, Borussia Dortmund showed no hesitation in snapping up the Moroccan international. Real Madrid spent €35m on Álvaro Odriozola, paving the way for Hakimi to leave, but while Odriozola has struggled at the Bernabéu, Hakimi has been a revelation in the Bundesliga. Despite filling in on his unflavoured left side for the majority of the season, the 20-year-old has attacked with great purpose, having a direct hand in six league goals. In 2019 alone he has made 10 tackles, 12 interceptions and completed 13 dribbles in four league appearances. Rating: 7.89 3) Ibrahima Konaté, 19, RB Leipzig Having arrived at Leipzig on a free transfer in 2017, Ibrahima Konaté did not take long to force his way into the first team. The centre-back has become an important part of a very strong defensive unit this season. The 19-year-old has started four of his side’s league matches since the turn of the year, scoring in the convincing win at Dusseldorf and weighing in with 10 tackles and 13 interceptions. His ability to bring the ball out from the back has also been increasingly evident, completing eight dribbles from the heart of the defence so far this year. Rating: 7.90 2) Jadon Sancho, 19, Borussia Dortmund If there were any doubts as to whether Jadon Sancho would be able to maintain his sparkling early-season form after the Winterpause in Germany, the English teenager has quashed them quite emphatically. He’s added another goal and two assists to his league tally in 2019 and become one of the first names on the teamsheet, creating 12 chances and completing a remarkable 29 dribbles in five appearances – six more than any other player in the Bundesliga. Rating: 7.91 FacebookTwitterPinterest Sancho has seven goals and nine assists in the league this season. Photograph: Sascha Steinbach/EPA 1) Kylian Mbappé, 20, Paris Saint-Germain To include Kylian Mbappé in a list of top youngsters almost seems unfair to the competition nowadays. He has only just turned 20, but the PSG forward has been one of the very best players in the world for some time. He proved as much on the grandest stage in Russia last summer and has continued to do so all season in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League. He has scored in each of his last three games for PSG, taking his tally to eight for 2019. Rating: 7.93
