Re: Gold Championship 2 Barca manager Hereward was quoted today as saying to the pursuing press pack: "Look, I think a measure of the quality we have in la liga this season is of course the number of teams we have competing for the SMFA trophies, but in those one-off matches, anything can happen. I'm pleased that we have an excellent competition going every week in Spain. Last season proved that this is a very difficult league to win, going right down to the wire. You need to constantly add quality players to your team to stay competitive in this league. I've tried to do that, and I will

Re: Gold Championship 2 VALE BOSS FURY WITH DRAW Vale boss gazlad is furious with his title chasing squad after they let a two goal lead drop against portsmouth, as the match finished 2-2 gazlad stated after the match in a interview; that is not exceptable letting a 2 goal cushion slip is very poor and unproffesional and the lads know it, we can't afford to led the slip like this if we are to get promoted.. despite of the draw vale still sit in 3rd spot, with the next match is against 2nd spot birmingham who also are having a very good season and on a good run... 6. Here it is then. The thread for all taking part in this challenge. Should be very enjoying, and also challenging! Post transfers both in and out, along with some match reports on this thread. Please keep us well up to date with your club. I will keep a sort of journal throughout the season, and will post it at the end of the season. I will regularly post each week, and the end of season summary should hopefully unveil me as Division 4 EC winner Good luck to all, hope you enjoy!

    Andre Luis

Andre Luis is rated 80 on SM and is a striker for Botafogo. After a fairly slow start to his career, he has now burst into life with 7 starts 6 sub apps and a massively impressive 11 goals this season. ( second top goalscorer when bought ) His talent has now been given a bigger platform to shine on after being purchased by Racing Santander for 1.7m in a co-ownership deal. Already heading for a decent rise after his goalscoring spree, if he forces his way into a mid-table la liga side a rating between 86-88 could be a safe bet.

  11. Re: Gold Championship 7 Atletico Train Back On Track Was the recent transfer this late in the season the right thing to do?It appearded so, as Atletico Madrid have gone D,D,L,D,L in it's previous 5 games before today. And today with newly acquired Nasir they thumped Valldoid on the road by a score of 5-2 with 4 goals coming from Fred and 1 goal from Robinho who was playing in his new role. Today's victory did not affect the standing as they remain 3 point back of division leaders Real Madrid and 3 point ahead of Sevilla Next up for Atletico Madrid is Recreativo de Huelva on the road

Re: Leaving Forums ? Thanks mate, nice to know I've been noticed Hope to keep contributing as and when I can. Agree with the quality not quantity statement, I try to post something worthwhile and don't bother if it ain't going to help the thread. I think most "noobs" will catch on to this in time. I think the reason that there is so much unrest at the moment is that the SM community has grown so much lately and obviously amongst the many people who join there are going to be more noobs to the forum and it can get annoying with all of these new faces posting utter cack basically. Re: The Premiership Thread Premier League Round Up - CHELSEA 0 - 0 FULHAM Chelsea are held to a goalless draw by Fulham Chelsea drop further down the table and are falling out of the tittle race. Avram Grant's difficult start to life as Chelsea manager continued as his side were held to a goalless draw by Fulham, with John Terry suffering a suspected fractured cheekbone and Didier Drogba sent off. Chelsea made a lacklustre start to the game and were lucky not to concede a penalty when Tal Ben Haim slipped in the box and headed against his own arm. Driven on by the impressive Joe Cole, Che

  19. Re: Fabregas vs. Others CMs in the world They're tied for me. They have their own unique style I guess. For me, Pirlo is first. I didn't vote coz I think each of them have their own main style. Example, Iniesta vs Pirlo... Different kind of players. Pirlo has magnificient set piece, good shots etc. Iniesta is more of the assist type. Maybe that's why Iniesta's not so famous as those like Gerrard. But meh... he's bound to be a good player. Fabregas and Iniesta are one of those who really inspire me to watch them a lot. I really like them to be honest. Good, talented and young. Though, if you

Re: Gold Championship 5 official match thread There are scenes of mass jubilation in Zurich tonight as the Swiss minnows sit proudly atop their Champions Cup group after seeing off both Barcelona and Real Betis on their own turf in successive weeks. Manager Jimmy Mack paid tribute to his young squad saying " I'm chuffed that these youngsters have been able to play to such a consistently high level, week in and week out. always willing to dig deep when it mattered. Of course none of this would have been possible without the inspirational example of those wise old heads Hannu Tihinen and Martin

Sir Alex was beaten by Coventry City at home, is that a common thing? nope not at all Ian Doiwe's men took advantage of a poor night for man u. But this weekend is a whoel new story, 20 clubs as per usual fighting for a extra 3 points on their current tallys. Will this weekend give a matchday of shocks, or a usual lot going best? I'll be taking you through the pre-match gossip, and all you need to know this Friday evening. Game

Valencia look set to make over 6 changes, welcoming stars Canazares, Jo, Albelda and Baptista back into the team. Theres no starting place for Edu, as he remains on the bench but could impact.

  26. Patrik Mraz Rated 70 - LM - Aged 20 - Slovak I was having a look at young, low rated players in the Slovak league and come across this player. After logging on to their official website it turns out that this player, despite being only 20 years old, has played 51 games already! Looked at the last few fixtures and he was starting them too. Given a squad number of 7. Also started against England U21's in June. Not sure how many U21 games he has played though. I reckon he's a good buy. There are players as high as 86 in the Artmedia side. They are a regular in Europe too. Edit - heres the l

    Players > Youth Squads

Thought I'd suggest a small improvement to the already wonderful game. With plenty of managers out there now - trying to muster up a squad with plenty of young hopeful talent I think it would be a lot easier and less time consuming to have some sort of multiple selection process whereby you could add several players to your youth squad at one time. I'm sure there plenty of managers out there that purchase ample youth players in one turn and have to spend half an hour sending them all to their youth squads one by one. I know this isnt an urgent improvement/addition. But it would certainly be
