    Said HUSEINOVIC

This player has recently been added to the database at my request, and is still hidden from the New Players List at the time of writing. This will soon change. The 19 year old Bosnian attacking midfielder had an excellent season in the Bosnia-Herzegovina Premijer Liga and was considered one of the top players there last season. He is a playmaker and got the most assists in his breakout season for his club, Sloboda Tuzla, who finished 6th in the league. He wracked up 25 starts in his first campaign. He is the captain of the Bosnian U-21 side, and has also picked up 2 full international caps since December 2007. He has just signed a 5 year deal with Bundesliga runners up for a bargain €500,000, Werder Bremen, who have qualified for the Champions League, despite a lot of interest from other clubs. General manager of Werder Bremen, Klaus Allofs, seems to have him marked as a player of the future:

  2. Well I've not scouted in ages and ages so I thought I'd have a go with the upcoming Brazilian changes. Some players have probably been mentioned before, but I wouldn't know which one's as I haven't read this section in a couple of months! But I'm pretty sure that all 4 can't have been mentioned! Ive tried to make it easily readable. Let me know what you think. Flamengo TORÓ, Rafael F 84 22 Actually playing as a midfielder, not a striker. He has started 5 times and been used as a substitute in the other 3 games. He has scored 5 goals already, no other midfielder has played more time than Marcinho. He will probably only make 87 this time round though, but keep him on your shortlist. 86 -> 87 Gremio VICTOR, Leandro G 80 25 Has played every minute of Gremio’s 8 games and has must be doing well if Gremio are in second. ***80 -> 84*** REVER, Humberto CB 80 23 Has also played every minute of Gremio’s 8 games, more than any other player in the Gremio side excluding Victor. ***80 -> 84*** FELIPE MATTIONI , Rohde RB 72 19 Has started twice and has been subbed on once. 5. Re: Gold Championship 4 Newcastle United - Season so far ! This season has been somewhat a revalation for Newcastle United. They currently sit 5 points clear at the top of the English Premier League, that a great position as the best Newcastle have ever achieved is 4th. This has mainly been thanks to goal-machine Luca Toni. Starting 24 games in all comps, he has scored 14, 13 coming in the league. Revalations also are still coming through as both Santos Marcelinho and Julien Escude have played a vital role in Newcastle's success. Newcastle's good form does come at an expense to good sides like Sunderland and Chelsea who have impresses outside the EPL, but are underperforming this year in the Premiership. Best Moments ! 1.) Toggs'es first game in charge at Newcastle United resulted in a win against Benfica in the UEFA Cup. It was a game that Benfica dominated possession but Newcastle dominated shots. The game was 2-2 after 90 minutes but Newcastle went on to win 4-2 on Pens. Martin Jorgesen and Hugo Ibarra got the goals that night. 2.) A massive win in the league as Newcastle trounced high-flying West Ham 6-2 thanks to a Luca Toni hat-trick. De Rossi scored on what turned out to be his last game for Newcastle United. Schualdraff and Zidan got the toher goals for Newcastle whlist Andy Johnson and Joey Barton got some constallation for the Hammers. 3.) A memorable night at the Emirates resulted in a 4-1 win in the FA Cup for Newcastle against Dan Payne's Arsenal. Goals from William, Hofland, Vertovhen and Marcelinho for a weak Newcastle after Julio Baptista gave Arsenal a goal lead. Worst Moment ! A disappointing defeat to Cardiff thanks to ex-Newcastle player Alberto Luque knocked Newcastle off the top spot and morale went surprisingly low. Since then though Newcastle havent lost a match in their last 10 in all compertitions. The Table So Far [/img] [/img] Newcastle regularly have been consistant with results and have always been very high in the Av-Pts table, losing only 3 games all season in the league. [/img] Newcastle this season on average have sold 51,808 tickets for each home game this season. This is only 385 seats away from full attendance and is the closet anybody has got to a Average full attendance in the EPL. The Signings ! Newcastle this season have made some high-profile signings. Big players both joined and left the club. Here's a look of what has happened on the 'Transfer Front' this season: Juan Roman Riquelme & Imbrahim Affelay - PSV - N/A Both these players joined in the deal that saw Danielle De Rossi and Jan Schualdraff move to Leams PSV. Since they've arrived, have both been key members of the squad and regular starters. Toggs said this deal was one for the future of the club and believes both players will have a long carrer at Newcastle. Guiseppe Rossi - SK Rapid Wien - N/A Toggs'es quest for a striker resulted in Guiseppe Rossi joining the club from George's SK Wien. It didnt come cheap though as Obirniak, Jovetic and Cheriten all departed in the deal. They were all players that Toggs wanted to keep but Toggs expects Rossi to reach a 92/93 rating in the next season or two. Willy Sagnol & Mohammed Zidan - Arsenal - N/A Both of the players arrived in the deal that saw David Suazo depart to Arsenal. Willy Sagnol is now the first choice RB ahead of Anyukov who is set to leave, whlist Mohhamed Zidan is the sub-striker at Newcastle ahead of both Aquafresca and Franco Di Santo. ( Willy Sagnol in Bayern Kit ) Current Squad ! [/img] Youth Team [/img] What Lies Ahead ? Important League Clashes FA Cup Semi Final Important League Clashes - The next three league encounters are all against the top4. After playing Arsenal, Newcastle go to Old Trafford tonight to play Manchester United. That game is followed by league clashes with Chelsea and then Liverpool. Newcastle also lok forward (To Winning) against West Ham and Everton who are 2nd and 3rd respectably. Having those the last two games is a key factor for Newcastle's hopes. FA Cup Semi Final - The chance for Toggs to go to Wembley at his first season at Newcastle. They play Stone Harry's Portsmouth in the semi's who have not alot to play for in the league, being bottom by 5Pts so the FA Cup will be a chance for them to salvage something. If Newcastle win, they will play the winners of the other Semi in the final who is West Ham United or surprise package, Nottingham Forest. Tonights Match Manchester United VS Newcastle United Cef Ellis -------------- Toggs Thomas Tonights match is set to be a great clash. Newcastle have Russian pair Anyukov and Kombarov out whlist Dusko Tosic is also a miss. Man Utd miss Woodgate through suspension and Rooney through Injury. Manchester United if win could get out of relegation whlist Newcastle look to build on there 5pt gap on the top of the premiership. Despite Man Utd's poor form this season, Toggs said hed be happy if the teams left with a point each. Report later, im tired now =]

  6. Just before i started with my QPR in the QPR open invitation, i got a Forrest in a new English Championships. In my first season i signed well over 100 players and selling alot to. I only buy player 23 and under, that i intend to use in my team anyway, and want to slowly build one of the best Forrest teams on the game. I played the first season, winning it easily and transforming my team into a squad full of the best talent from all over the world. Mainly down to some superb scouts on here and some smooth deals. I just thought that as everything is going swimmingly well in the second season, it might be a good read for anyone considering do the same kind of thing, not that im the only one out there doing it as i know there are loads (sorry for huge spaces inbetween images) Here is the table from season one in division 3. Best managers Main Team Youth So far this season everything is going pretty sweet, Im top of the league, ahead by a fair few points and im still in English shield, where i will face newcastle in the 4th round. In regards to my team, i was somewhat lucky in the youth / potential department as i was virtually the only manager looking to bring in youth, apart from Arsenal managed by Luke_lufc but he hasnt been that active on this his account. Put it this way, i signed Dos Santos on the first day as i thought id be outbid for Bojan, checked Barcelona 4 days later and he was still there ! So i snipped him up, other good buys range from Gokhan, Shirokov, Capel, CESAR AZPILICUETA, Pjanic etc, there have been many many more. But i part ex'd them out or sold them to make way for Bog guns like Marcelo, Neuer, gago, Mikel, Kuzmanovic, Torres, Zapata, Negredo etc. As you can still see though i have some of the worlds best youngsters still in my squad such as Bojan, Lulinha, Pjanic, Dos Santos, Balotelli, aaron, etc etc, and some players such as Eden Hazard who have great potential but are yet to make an impact upon world football. My Long term plan was to win division one within 4 seasons of taking over this Forrest Team. That means including this season i have 3 seasons to complete my goal. the way things are going this could be a real possibility, iv got to a stage now where i dont particulary wanna sell many of my squad just incase they increase so, i will be keeping this squad for a while now and only buy players with prize and chairman injection. But that could all change. I dont plan to regulary update this thread but i will update it every so often letting you lot know about transfers and my form. I hope you enjoy. And here is my starting 11 if anyone is wondering. ENJOY !

  7. This thread is dedicated to players who have just moved to England and due a higher rating and players who already play in England but will rise due to moving to a bigger club. These players may have been mentioned before, if they have then reguard this thread as an update This is not a Superstar in the making thread, these are just players who could make you a tidy little profit, or could build a good lower league team. Samuel DI CARMINE Age: 19 years old Born: 20 September 1988 Nationality: Italian Position: Striker/Winger (F/W) Foot: Right Rated: 73 Samuel has just joined QPR on as season long loan from Fiorentina. I would think he would play enough this season to rise to 80. Liam DICKINSON - Moved up two Divisions Age: 23 years old Born: 1 January 1985 Nationality: English Position: Striker (F) Foot: Right Rating: 74 Just Joined Derby from Stockport in a fee which could eventually net Stockport as much as £1million. I would predict Liam becoming a regularr starter and reaching 80 pretty early. Magno Silva VIEIRA - Moved up two divisions Age: 23 years old Born: 13 February 1985 Nationality: Brazilian Position: Striker (F) Foot: Right Rating: 69 Step up from Blue Square to league two side Wycombe. A good run at start of season could see him reach high 70's. Polo ALBERT SERRAN Age: 23 years old Born: 17 July 1984 Nationality: Spanish Position: Centre Back (CB) Foot: Right Rated: 75 Signed from Espanyol by Swansea. Tipped to be a regular this season that will secure him between 80-84. Stuart FLEETWOOD - Moved up three divisions Age: 22 years old Born: 23 April 1986 Nationality: English Position: Striker (F) Foot: Right Rated: 72 Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of non-league hot shot Stuart Fleetwood on a three-year deal this summer. Difficult to decide whether he'l become a regular in the side. Wolves took a gamble with Kightly and it paid off. Can be bought for 40k in most set-ups so def worth the risk. Aron GUNNARSSON Real Club: Coventry City Age: 18 years old Born: 22 September 1989 Nationality: Icelandic Position: Attacking Midfield (AM) Foot: Right Rating: 71 Mentioned plenty of times on this forum. Iceland international, expected to be a success at Coventry since moving from AZ in Holland. If you havnt already bought him - HURRY!! Morgan SCHNEIDERLIN Age: 18 years old Born: 8 November 1989 Nationality: French Position: Defensive Midfield/Centre Back (DM/CB) Foot: Right Rated: 68 Another player mentioned plenty of times and you must buy quick. Just bought by Southampton for 1.2million and when skint clubs pay that much for players you'd expect them to play. Michael MORRISON - Moved up two divisions Age: 20 years old Born: 3 March 1988 Nationality: English Position: Centre Back (CB) Foot: Right Rating: 69 Joined Leicester City after spending the whole of last season in the Blue Square Premier. Difficult to say whether he'l play but worth the gamble. Nicky ADAMS - Moved up one division Age: 21 years old Born: 16 October 1986 Nationality: Welsh Position: Central Midfield/Attacking Midfield (CM/AM) Foot: Right Rating: 74 Leicester Fans are excited about this new signing from Bury, and why should'nt they be. He's a current Welsh U-21 international and tipped to be a success at senior level. I predict he will be an important player for the foxes this season and i expect a rise upto 82 at some point throughout season. Alex BAPTISTE - Moved up two divisions Age: 22 years old Born: 31 January 1986 Nationality: English Position: Centre Back (CB) Foot: Right Rating: 72 This player had a decreased rating change of 1 last time around, however he has just left Mansfield and Joined Championship Side Blackpool. A regular gig could a rise to high 70's/low 80's. I will add more as transfers go through..

    Chesterfield News

New Stadium Go Ahead Chesterfield have been granted planning permission by the town's Borough Council to build a new stadium. The plans, which have been approved subject to conditions, were rubber-stamped unanimously by the council following a meeting on Tuesday evening. Chesterfield would leave Saltergate to move to a 10,000 seater stadium in the Whittington Moor area of the town. The plans include a supermarket and business premises which will occupy the rest of the 22-acre site. The stadium would be part of the the regeneration of a former glass manufacturing factory site. Chesterfield chairman Barrie Hubbard: "We feel elated that at last we are getting somewhere and congratulate the development team in putting together such a comprehensive regeneration plan that has been unanimously approved." Football has been played at Saltergate, also known as the Recreation ground, since 1871. New Signing Chesterfield have completed the signing of former Oldham Athletic, Shrewsbury and Gretna defender Danny Hall. The 24-year-old passed a medical at Saltergate on Thursday and has put pen to paper on a one-year deal. Hall, who is likely to replace Janos Kovacs who joined Lincoln, said: "I am really pleased and reckon we could be in for a good season." Boss Lee Richardson added: "Danny is a versatile player who I have monitored for some time." Richardson also said he aims to sign a new goalkeeper before their first pre-season friendly. The Spireites lack a number one after they released Barry Roche one year early from his contract. "There are lots of keepers looking for a number-one spot," Richardson told BBC Radio Sheffield. "There are a few keepers at Premier and Championship clubs that are available on a season-long loan, with no call back. That's the deal I'm looking at." Meanwhile Aaron Downes will be available for the start of the new season. The defender has not been included in the Australian under-23 team for the Beijing Olympic Games. Downes had spent the summer at a pre-Olympic training camp in Australia, where he scored two goals in a trial match against Chile. Richardson added: "We can understand Aaron's disappointment at not being selected for the Olympics. "But from the club's point of view there is a positive as Aaron will be here for the start of the season after all." New Investors Chesterfield chairman Barry Hubbard says two parties are competing to invest in the club. Three groups had expressed interest in investing in the Spireites, but Hubbard has told BBC Radio Sheffield the club has rejected one offer. "The offer that one of them made we couldn't accept," he said. "Although it was a good offer, it wasn't enough. Hubbard will not name the two groups but added: "One is better than the other, but they are both good." Widdy

  14. Re: Gold Championship 10 Match Report Thread Roma Look Strong...! Things are looking bright for AS Roma as they remain in all four competitions this season. They are currently second in the Italian league, through to the quarter finals of the Italian cup and play a round three shield three game on Monday against Milan. But Sparky has said that the SMFA Cup is their top priority, along with the league. AS Roma currently lead SMFA Champions Cup Group A after they beat Liverpool's reserves 3-1 yesterday. And tonight, they managed a brilliant performance against Palermo as they came away with a 3-0 win. Due to heavy injury and suspensions, Roma had to field a mixture of starters and reserves, a line up which also featured former Celtic midfielder Jiri Jarosik. Hanno Balistch, Luis Garcia and Mauro Esposito managed to bag the goals to help Roma cut Fiorentina's lead at the top to three points. AS Roma's League Run Roma have only lost twice this season, two losses which probably have cost them first place in the league. A disappointing loss to Catania and a poor display against Parma has helped Fiorentina go top, but Roma have kept the pressure since with brilliant wins over Juventus and Milan, and a magnificent 12-0 thumping over Livorno. They also beat Fiorentina 2-0 at the Olimpico. Currently three points behind Fiorentina and just a point ahead Udinese in the league, AS Roma haven't really had to rely on any single player to get the goals. After Francesco Totti, it was thought that Kevin Kuranyi would be the player become AS Roma's top scorer, especially after he was voted SMFA Player of the year... But it wasn't to be, the German striker hasn't been as prolific as Sparky had hoped but has managed to scored 7 goals altogether. AS Roma's next league game is against third Udinese at home. AS Roma's SMFA Cup Run Currently unbeaten in Group A, AS Roma have managed 2 wins which also included an impressive 3-1 win over Liverpool. They started off their campaign with a disappointing draw against Hammarby, but picked themselves up and managed a win against Paris St. Germain. Sparky has revealed his ambitions of the SMFA Cup but has said that it would be even better if another Italian team managed to win the trophy. "I really want this cup, I have a poor record in the SMFA Cup, only managing to reach the quarter finals. I do hope this will be a year where we can progress further than that. However, I think it would be brilliant if another Italian team won the SMFA Cup after Internazionale won it last year. I want more Italian teams to qualify for Europe and also would want the biggest trophy in club competition to come to Italy." AS Roma's next SMFA game is against Paris St. Germain.

  17. Re: Battle of Prestige Official thread (Prior to an agreement, mt has assigned me as Division One previewer, so here goes) Division One The business end of the league, this is where the teams of lower quality battle it out to stay in Division One, as well as fight it out to be crowned Division One Champions. We have an eclectic mix of teams in this division, from English giants Manchester City to Russian UEFA Cup winners Zenit St. Petersburg, in Division One, we have not so much the quality as you'd expect from some of the Division Two teams, but they can easily match what they have in quality with sheer passion. The teams: Bristol City Manchester City Norwich City Fiorentina Villarreal FC Porto Sporting CSKA Moskva Zenit St. Petersburg Marseille Galatasaray FC Schalke 04 Werder Bremen VfB Stuttgart Celtic Pachuca Star Player: Bristol City - Santiago Canizares Manchester City - Tuncay Norwich City - Roberto Ayala Fiorentina - Adrian Mutu Villarreal - Marcos Senna FC Porto - Lisandro Lopez Sporting - Robert Enke CSKA Moskva - Vagner Love Zenit St. Petersburg - Andrei Arshavin Marseille - Wayne Rooney Galatasaray - Turan Arda FC Schalke 04 - Kevin Kuranyi Werder Bremen - Diego VfB Stuttgart - Mario Gomez Celtic - Artur Boruc Pachuca - David James The Predictions Champions - Werder Bremen Bottom Team - Norwich City Golden Boot - Wayne Rooney Player of the Season - Andrei Arshavin Dark Horse - Galatasaray Top Assister - Diego Most Goals Scored by a team - Fiorentina Most Goals Conceded by a team - Norwich City Longest Cup Run - Zenit St. Petersburg Longest Shield Run - Werder Bremen

  23. Re: Battle of Prestige Official thread VFB Stuggart Team News Transfer News VFV Stuggart has made the last major signing before the seasons kicks off, with Yakubu joining from Everton. " He is a fantastic signing for us, an ideal centre forward to fire the goals for Stuggart. He has everything we need, strength, versality, speed, aggression, I have high expectations for him." Manager Mak on his latest signing. Transfer Speculations Mario Gomez, Fernando Meira and Serdar Tasci have all been given the green light to move if a respectable offer comes in. " Apparently, we have a serious lack of funds to challenge for the title and aquire world class signings. Deals for Torres, Chiellini, Lell and Lucio have all fallen through as we are not a big club like Man Utd or Barcelona. We hope the fans will understand our dilemma. " Manager Mak on the team's prospects in his first season in charge." Nevertheless, the manager appreciates the help from the Valencia manger for loaning Maduro to bolster the Stuggart midfield.

    Help With Deal(s) Thread...

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... No. Money is growing less popular in the game, People do trade deals. the highest Sliva will get is 95 and I don't see him getting it really. But Pato in a few years could be at 96/97 with Bojan.

    Youth squad sale

Re: Youth squad sale do not sell VIDRIO and FORESTIERI as they are rising stars and their performances and ratings prove that. Wait and see how RANDALL and TRAORE progress in the next ratings. Sell the rest as they will take a long time to get past their present ratings.

    Gold Championship 7

Re: Gold Championship 7 SMFA Cup Quarter Final Bayern get THUMPED!! Bayern Munchen 1 - 4 Hamburger SV Hamburger manager Dai Winston has experienced a mixture of feeling after his team hammered fellow German giants Bayern as now his players go on to face, what has to be said, as the biggest game of their lives as they have been drawn against the mighty Chelsea in the semi final. It was nothing but excitement as Winston's men just brushed aside a very average looking Munchen outfit, all being said, Bayern are focusing all of their attention to the German Shield match on Monday. Winston has congratulated his player individually as they have helped him get to an SMFA Cup semi Final for the first time in his career. The Welsh manager is slightly gutted at having to face his good friend Leigh's Chelsea team, as he made it very clear in a pre-match interview that it would be dream to make it to the final and play them there, but Winston has said that, yet again, his players will be up for the task in one weeks time and will relish the chance of making it to such a huge match. So with that mixture of emotion, the Welshman went on to say unlucky to pal Louis and bring on the might of Chelski!! Tonight match was full of great players as both teams played their very best teams. Saying that Bayern got off to a very sluggish start, as Hamburg took the lead after just one minute, Diego Forlan, met a brilliant cross with a majestic header and put the ball past Alexander Doni in the Bayern goal. The match was developing into a classic game, full of attacking football and chances at either end, Bayern could easily have got an equalizer but it was HSV that did get the next important goal, it was that man Forlan again, this time, he received the ball in the box and neatly tucked it into the bottom corner of the net, a great goal and a great lead for Hamburg going into half time. That was not the last goal of the half however, Munchen pulled a goal back as Silva Ze Roberto lost his marker and snuck in to finish with a lovely diving header at the back post. Making the score 2-1 to HSV at the half time interval. The second half was very much the same as the first, with both teams creating numerous chances, Bayern just couldn't find the net, you could tell it was affecting them. Hamburger went 3-1 up just after the hour when a long shot was only parried by Doni and the ball fell to Michael Ballack who was not going to miss an open goal from 6 yards. Munchen's beating was made worse when Italian midfielder Marco Donadel spun his marker, leaving him for dead, and fired a brilliant shot low into the bottom corner giving Doni no chance again. Hamburger looked good going forward tonight but a little bit suspect at the back, something for Winston and his players to work on ahead of the massive game next week. ( Forlan opened the scoring inside of 2 minutes, then got a second half way through the first half ) ( Ballack made it 3-1 with just over 20 minutes left ) ( The drubbing was completed by Marco Donadel in the last few minutes )

  36. Re: The Future of Football Series - Mexico (Part 1) CHRISTIAN BERMUDEZ Christian de Jesus Bermudez Gutierrez, or Christian Bermudez is a versatile midfielder and forward playing for Atlante. Christian Bermudez is nicknamed as "El Hobbit" and is very short for a footballer, only 1.63m (5"4) tall, but despite his small physical presence, he is a very skillful footballer with many tricks and a great dribbling ability as well as lightning quick feet. He is also the cousin of Odin Patino Bermudez who was also part of the U20 Mexican National Team. Christian Bermudez was born on the 26th April 1987 in Mexico City, Mexico. Christian Bermudez is a first team player for Atlante and could be described as the most important player at the club, and that is giving a lot of respect for Maldonado and Chica Hernandez whom are both indispensable. Christian Bermudez played 32 games this season for Atlante and scored 2 goals, and has totaled 55 games and 4 goals in the Mexican Primera Division. Christian Bermudez was part of the Mexico U20 team in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Canada but has not gained a first team position in the Mexican National Team mainly because of Andres Guardado. He has been called up in the team's FIFA World Cup 2010 Qualifications. 39. Re: European Nations Transfer/Match Report Thread PORTO FINALLY GET THEIR SHOW NO THE ROAD !!!! 2-1 Last nigh FC Porto won their first game of the season against Spanish club Real Zaragoza. Porto had lost all of their previous three games and were rock bottom on the table. FC Porto manager Rishabh Desai had to said after this invaluable win:"Well, it is a huge relief to both the players and fans. We started te season off really badly and must recover very fast. Yes th season has just started and there is time left but we must get our act together and perform like we have today more often !!!" The Game was played in the Estádio do Dragão. It was a really tight game al throughout. The out of form striker Lisandro Lopez got Porto the lead in only the 7th minute of the game he he thundered the ball into the back of the net scoring his second goal this season !!! (Lopoez scored the opener for Porto !!!!) This was followed by a goal scored by Malden Pertic ,the Croatian striker in the 51st minute of the game via a header !!! Porto looked in command at that point but it soon all changed after the Argentine striker Diegp Milito scored a goal for Zaragoza in the 60th minute. Zaragoa kept up the preuusure but failed to score and at the end of 90 minutes of great football the scorre read FC Porto 2-1 Real Zaragoza !!! (Scored the winner for Porto !!!)
