Young - low rated - getting minutes

4 matchdays have (almost) been played now in the Bundesliga and in the eyes of a Soccermanager the most important question probably is: "Who is the next Götze? Who will get the next huge rise?" Though I don't think we'll have a riser like Götze this year (as he is an extra-ordinary player) there are still quite some youngsters who may get nice rises. So I took a look at the Bundesliga teams and made a list about the recent youngsters. In this list there are only players rated 80 or lower, being not older than 22 and having played at least 1 minute this season so far. Furthermore I sorted the list according to how I rate the chances for the player to get a nice rise. I am careful to point out that I can't give any detailed information about the players. I hardly have seen them play so far and I also don't want to judge the players based on 3 or 4 games. However due to my experience with Soccermanager and the Bundesliga I dare to say who has good chances to rise. But I also can't predict now, how much they will rise. Besides if you have questions regarding other Bundesliga players I please you to ask in the respective Bundesliga Rating Thread. Should anyone still ask how much one of the following players will rise or should anyone ask how any other player is doing in the Bundesliga, his question will either be ignored or it will be answered in a sarcastically way. Young - low rated - getting minutes Must buys Marc-André ter Stegen Borussia Mönchengladbach Age: 19 Rating: 78 Minutes played this season: 270 Bernd Leno Bayer Leverkusen Age: 19 Rating: 79 Minutes: 270 Julian Draxler Schalke 04 Age: 17 Rating: 80 Minutes: 180 Good buys Patrick Rakovsky 1. FC Nürnberg Age: 18 Rating: 75 Minutes: 180 Markus Mendler 1. FC Nürnberg Age: 18 Rating: 78 Minutes: 136 Akaki Gogia FC Augsburg Age: 19 Rating: 76 Minutes: 150 Chris Löwe Borussia Dortmund Age: 22 Rating: 75 Minutes: 165 Julian Wiessmeier 1. FC Nürnberg Age: 18 Rating: 75 Minutes: 108 Lennart Thy Werder Bremen Age: 19 Rating: 78 Minutes: 151 Konstantinos Fortounis 1. FC Kaiserslautern Age: 19 Rating: 79 Minutes: 270 Miro Varvodic 1. FC Köln Age: 22 Rating: 80 Minutes: 180 Alexander Esswein 1. FC Nürnberg Age: 21 Rating: 80 Minutes: 127 Richard Sukuta-Pasu 1. FC Kaiserslautern Age: 21 Rating: 80 Minutes: 251 Robert Mak 1. FC Nürnberg Age: 20 Rating: 80 Minutes: 60 Maybe tops - maybe flops Daniel Williams SC Freiburg Age: 22 Rating: 78 Minutes: 90 Michael Schulze VfL Wolfsburg Age: 22 Rating: 75 Minutes: 75 Odise Roshi 1. FC Köln Age: 20 Rating: 78 Minutes: 43 Lukas Rupp Borussia Mönchengladbach Age: 20 Rating: 76 Minutes: 22 Matthew Leckie Borussia Mönchengladbach Age: 20 Rating: 80 Minutes: 24 Alfredo Morales Hertha BSC Berlin Age: 21 Rating: 75 Minutes: 24 Dominik Kaiser 1899 Hoffenheim Age: 22 Rating: 75 Minutes: 24 Petar Sliskovic FSV Mainz 05 Age: 20 Rating: 78 Minutes: 13 Joshua King Borussia Mönchengladbach Age: 19 Rating: 77 Minutes: 5 Finally I'd like to add that I don't give any guarantee that these players will rise. Maybe one of them will break his leg tomorrow and then a rise is of course more than uncertain. Maybe one of these players won't get any more minutes in the first team due to whatever reasons. I don't have a crystal ball - I certainly can't predict the future. But I would say if you buy all of these players you will make a profit.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Week 29 It was all change in week 29 of the Championship as only 3 teams kept their position after Saturday's games. Leaders Millwall held on at the Liberty Stadium to beat mid-table Swansea. Andrei Arshavin scored in the 80th minute for the Jacks but it was Rodrigo Palacio's goal that proved to be decisive. That win meant previous leaders Leeds slipped to second. They slipped up at home to Bristol City. It was a final 5 minutes to forget for the Elland Road faithful as goals from Floro Flores & Martinez meant the away team moved into the top half of the table. A 20th minute goal from Mario Balotelli made sure Sheff Utd. overcame Burnley & kept the pressure on the top two. Boro came from behind at the Riverside to pile more misery on bottom team Coventry by beating them 2-1. Forest's 2-0 win at Derby meant they stayed 5th & Hull's 4-1 win over Preston sees the Lilywhites fall to 6th. Leicester's fall from grace is becoming greater as they lost 3-2 to Watford. With that win the Londoners move off bottom spot & are now 10 points from safety thanks to Nampalys Mendy's late brace. There were 3 goals in the last 10 minutes at Oakwell as Cardiff beat Barnsley to keep up hopes of reaching the playoffs. A 6 goal thriller at Selhurst Park resulted in Crystal Palace overcame Norwich 4-2. The star of the show was no doubt Lucas with 2 goals & 2 assists. Ipswich's inconsistent form continued with a 1-1 draw at Doncaster and Pompey eased relegation fears with a comfortable 3-0 win over QPR. However, the big winners of the day were Shorpe. The Iron beat fellow strugglers Reading 4-0 despite having a sending off.

Bernd Leno - 79 rated GK talent

Bernd Leno Date Of Birth: 4th March 1992 (18) Nationality: German Club: VfB Stuttgart II Position: GK Honours: 2009 UEFA Euro U17 Champion / 2009 U 17 league champion with VfB SM Rating: 76 Leno started playing football in the youth of SV Germania Bietigheim. With 11 years he already moved to the youth of VfB Stuttgart. After Ulreich (2nd keeper of VfB) got injured this year, the 3rd keeper Stolz who has been playing for the reserve team of Stuttgart so far was promoted and Leno had the chance to play for the reserve in the third league even if he still could have played in the U19 youth team of Stuttgart. But he took the chance and showed good performances in the 13 matches he has played so far. I don't think he will become regular at Stuttgart soon as it seems like Sven Ulreich will be the new no 1 next season. If Ulreich does well, he will stay in goal. If he fails Stuttgart probably will look for an experienced GK. But long-term I can see him becoming at least a mid 80 rated keeper if he moves the club.

    Juan Bernat - Valencia Starlet

Juan Bernat Juan is a Spanish LM/Winger who plays for Valencia. He is only 18 but has already impressed his coaches. Some Valencia fans may have been mourning the loss of Isco to Malaga but there was a surprise during pre season with Juan shining. He has perhaps given Valencia fans some new hope for the season. Preseason & Discovery During pre season he played in friendlies against Hamburger and Sporting. He impressed during these two games, scoring two against Hamburger and 1 against Sporting. He was arguably one of the best players during preseason for Valencia. It was said that the club have been wanting to let him train with the first team for quite some time now and when preseason came along they immediately included him in the squad for their tour in Austria. He has also made his debut in the first game of the season against Racing Santander. Style Juan is a very attacking player who is quick and has a really good eye for goal. He has a good work rate and never gives up. Hes also got good technique and dribbling skills. He is constantly looking for space and can pass very well. It is said that he is so good that Valencia have upped his buy out clause to 30M so as to not lose him. He is raw but definitely can be groomed into one of La Liga's finest wingers following in the footsteps of David Silva and Juan Mata. He has recently signed a new contract with Valencia which will keep him at the club until 2015. Below is a video of his preseason: GFIVAB3Kqgs&feature=player_embedded International He is a Spain U-19 international. He has previously played in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Conclusion With Juan's strong preseason and his manager's immense faith in him it is only a matter of time before he emerges as one of La Liga's finest talents. He is NOT ON THE DB but it is only a matter of time.

Re: English Championship 8000 - Discussion Thread Whilst everyone goes and blows their budgets on the kids (admittedly they are quality) Stoke have been clever with their transfer targets. All of the following are coming to Stoke with no competition and at c/v Some turn their nose up at this guy. But I still think he's pure class. Also a 94 rated AM at Stoke?!?!? Gob smacked that I got him as easily as I did. Getting a quality keeper in is always one of the main priorities, and I've got one of the best in the game, not too shabby Top solid centre back who will be vital for our season. His move to Milan will help his rating some what as well. Another 92 centre half, need I say more. Personal favourite of mine, he's a beast and is just quality. Also have a bid accepted on Falcao but looking at the other bids I don't stand a chance. Nice to see most of my Prem rivals are paying well over the odds for players, might make the gap from top to bottom smaller

    SMFA Blocks

Re: SMFA Blocks It really is a ridiculous program they have to prevent cheating. after lon negotiations I managed to verbally seal a deal to bring in Messi for my flagship GC team. The price was Nasri + Pedro + De Gea. We never managed to even get the first part done, as the SMFA blocks it. Furthermore, I am now banned to do deals with that manager, meaning I will NEVER get Messi for my beloved team. Is this enjoyment in a "fun" game? SM has become progressively worse over the last 2 years. Yes, they sorted out a lot of in-game problems and layout issues, but the match engine and the anti cheat system is something that will eventually ruin the game. New managers don't find excitement in these conditions, whilst old managers don't want to go because they spend years creating superb teams. However, there will be a breaking point if this stays the same, soon nobody can deal anymore. How I miss the old days with hidden new players, the old rating changes schedule, and the lack of an all destroying anti cheat system. PS: Now we even have chairmans who say you can bid max 1M for a player, whilst their chairman wants at least 1.2M. You effectively have NO CHANCE to buy a player, what type of game or player wants that?

    Sunderland KNVB Match Reports

Re: Sunderland KNVB Match Reports Sunderland Eye Defensive Duo Despite winning the opening game of the season, Sunderland coach Caleb is reportedly still in the market for a centre-back and a defensive midfielder to add stability to the team's backline. Reports have it that veteran pair Joris Mathijsen, 31 and 34-year-old Mark Van Bommel are the names mooted to make the switch to the Stadium of Light. Mathijsen, who currently plays for Malaga CF, is a versatile defender who can operate both in central defense and on the left. His arrival is likely to see 19-year-old Stefan De Vrij relegated to the role of a squad player. Former Bayern Munchen and AC Milan starlet Van Bommel is likely to replace Kevin Strootman as the club's holding midfielder and the tenacious midfielder is likely to help add experience and leadership to a relatively young Sunderland line-up.

    Erik Lamela

Re: Erik Lamela Roma spent a peanut fee on him (around €12 million), which is, as I said, just a peanut fee for them. A 19 year old kid that cost them next to nothing is not supposed to be a starter. Try to get Chris Hargreaves instead - now there's a big talent - albeit his age.

Re: Is Kroos or Ramsey a better long term prospect? Kroos. hard to see what will happen to Ramsey, he's playing well and is being capped for Wales, but with Arsenal not playing too well at the moment and the possibility of no Champions League football next season could hurt his chances of rising that high.

Re: Should I sell all my youths to fund a move for Hummels? This transfer process actually depends on your squad depth. If you already have a good and compact set of CB:s than don`t sell your youth, instead try to trade one of your current CB:s and if needed some cash aswell. This will able you to get the best possible transfer. But... If you are struggling to get another 90+ CB to your starting line-up than I would go for it and sell all your youth for Hummels even though all of your risers are potential risers in the near future.

Re: Should I sell all my youths to fund a move for Hummels? erm i'd probably shy away from over spending on 1 player? if its going to cost you too much i mean if you sell all the guys you listed, or some of them, does that guarantee that you'll get hummels? or will a bigger club jusst out bid you? then leaving you with just cash and half a squad left over i mean all the players you've listed are very good prospects in my opinion and i'd be very hard pushed to release alot of them to bring in just one player, and that would be if they were just sitting on the bench only getting a few games a season if the majority of them are starter's then i'd definetley not do it. at the bottom of the pile 1 player is only 1 player and theres more things to consider, like how will his wages affect your club(if you have a small stadium it might cripple you paying a top 91ov his wages week in week out plus theres always things to consider like long term injuries etc. your starting cb's play for man.u real.m man.c and chelsea(think bruma's on loan at hamburg this season too, could of got him mixed up with another player though) given them a season or so in real life they'll all be consistently rising and the likes of jones especially could easily pass hummels in afew seaons ratings wise but it's your call ofc, i would just rather live within my clubs restrictions financally speaking and keep a good competitive squad rather than have one or two top players, and the rest being all low players because 1, 2 players can't win you anything, you need a good squad with a consistent average rating across the board to suceed (imo) especially if you are in the lower leagues of a set up
