Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Premiership End of Season Review Enjoy. Any suggestions & improvements would be appreciated. Been a cracking first season, let's have an even better 2nd one!

Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Premiership End of Season Review 1. West Brom Tipped to go down by many at the start of the season, their Premiership crowning has been nothing short of sensational. said7fabregas has completely revamped the team & they could challenge again next season. There's not one player who you would say is a superstar, but their defence is strong & they have a great team spirit. Manager of the year in this division for me! Player of the year - Fabio Quagliarella. Scored 16 goals & made a further 15. A huge contribution from him. 2. Blackpool Another team, like WBA, tipped for the drop. However, Maoam has seen it al before & has transformed the team from relegation candidates to title contenders in less than a season. Most of the team are hitting the peak of their careers so they can look forward to the next season or two. Lack of depth hit them hard in areas of the season although I'm sure Maoam won't make the same mistake twice. Player of the year - Keisuke Honda. Starred in 35 games & managed to get into the double figures with goals scored. 3. Manchester United I said at the start of the year that United were building for the future & judging by the squad still there, they will no doubt be tearing the Premiership up in a year or two. This season won't have lived up to fans' expectations & they'll want better from Rick next year. Player of the year - Wayne Rooney. When he played well, so did United. 4. Spurs It's been party time all across Spurs pre season as fans are still on a huge high after finishing 4th. I thought depth would kill them this year, so they've been a tad lucky in that respect, but no-one can doubt their quality. Jack will love the challenge of Eurpoean football next term. Player of the year - Pedro. Brought up the Barca way & was influential last season. 5. Everton Shack said himself, that poor management cost him the title & I agree with him. He was leading for the majority of first half of the season, but his side then faded & he slipped into mid table. Thankfully for the Merseyside club the season ended well & they can now look forward to Europa League football next season. Another small squad that could come back to haunt them. Player of the year - Mirko Vucinic. Involved in 25 goals last year. Vital in their end of season push. 6. West Ham Kazzer has built up a decent team at Upton Park, but again, depth could be a real issue this coming season. Things could have been different for the Hammers though, had Sergio Aguero not been injured for the majority of the season. Player of the year - Sergio Aguero. Still managed 17 goals despite playing only 23 games. 7. Liverpool An average season for the Reds. Fans would probably have been more happy with a cup win, but things didn't go their way in the cup final against Chelsea. They have the squad there, just need to get tactics right & they can win the league next year. Player of the year - Mario Gomez. If he had played more, they might have been able to get even more out of him. 8. Fulham Mike has every reason to be proud of the job that he's done at Craven Cottage to date. He's bought quality & sacrificed depth. This could have paid off in the short term & throw European success into the mix & you can say they've had a good season. Player of the year - Neven Subotic. Played 35 games & been a rock in all of them. 9. Wolves I thought they'd get battered every game this year when the season started. Luckily Ryan's built well & mid table sounds about right for his side. Although in saying that, I'm surprised he has any time for his team after all the work he's done on the forum! Player of the year - Fernando Gago. Wolves' heartbeat this year. 10. Stoke Hammer joined Stoke near the end of the season so I can't really pass judgement on his work so far. However, Rhyse laid firm foundations & with Hammer signing the most hated player in world football (no, not Alan Tate) - Carlos Tevez - they'll be setting their sights on the top half again this year. Player of the year - Ricardo Carvalho. The guy oozes class. 11. Chelsea Two cup wins in a season means they must be doing something right, but the real problem is why they haven't been able to transfer that form into the league. They have the best strikeforce in the world, but can they gel next year or will it be another season that fails to bear fruit in the league? Player of the year - Cristiano Ronaldo. Could've been even better if it wasn't for his injury at the end of the season. 12. Wigan They eased away from relegation with quite a few games to go. Fans will just be happy that there was no dogfight to stay up this year & they'll be busting to go again next year. Player of the year - Lucho Gonzalez. They could have been top half if he'd played more. 13. Birmingham One of the few managers who manage their supported clubs, Ben hass carried on where SMH left off & comfortably survived the drop. I've no doubt he'll want to improve next year & will target the top half, like many others. Player of the year - Ezequiel Lavezzi. A decent 11 goals this term. 14. Sunderland They were staring relegation in the face until Chris took over & pulled them through. Iker Casillas has been their trump card this year & he's kept them in many a game after Chris took the reins. Player of the year - Gianpaolo Pazzini. The Italian's 10 goals & 11 assists have been invaluable. 15. Arsenal One of the surprises of the season. Although after halfway it's no surprise that thet are where they are. Poor management cost them & to leave Lionel Messi out of the team for so long is nothing short of disgusting! Player of the year - Mesut Ozil. A decent season considering the team's position. 16. Bolton AWA completely disregarded any importance of the last few fixtures & set his sights on next year. The shaky defence has been shored up & he will want an improvement on this year's finish. Player of the year - Jefferson Farfan. The Peruvian could have improved his team's final position if he had been able to play more. 17. Aston Villa Should have been safe weeks before the last day. In the first half of the season they played quite well & were on course for European football next term. But a poor end of season, including to get out of their Founders Cup group saw them slip. A tense nervous last day saw them escape the drop but only just. Changes have been made & they must be better next season. Player of the year - Thomas Muller. If he could add end product to his game, he'll be feared by everyone. 18. Manchester City The shock of the season across all 5 divisions. There were signs early on that they weren't to do as well as expected when SOP failed to make any headlining transfers & was sacked after a few games. So who's fault is it that they went down? Is it Ben's for not turning it around? Or was the mess he had just too hard to tidy up? You decide. Player of the year - Karim Benzema. The only marquee signing of SOP's reign. The only one to come out of the season with a tiny bit of credit. 19. Newcastle Slightly confused as to why they went down. There's enough potential there to get European football. They'll have to strengthen if they want to bounce back next season. Player of the year - Alexis Sanchez. Unfortunately his efforts weren't able to keep them up. 20. Blackburn MUTD's taken over from Dave. He's revamped the team in the hope of regaining promotion. Has a challenge on his hands. Player of the year - Kevin Gameiro. His 15 goals were quite something, it's just a shame that it wasn't enough. & there it is, the first season in 7777 over & done with. We've had it all, big teams relegated, small teams winning titles, playoff drama, the odd transfer scandal, the Super 6, the Founders Cup & a whole lot of M/Rs! Here's to the next season!

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Fabregas is one of my favorite players. But his position does seem uncertain a bit. He is going to take the position of Xavi there' date=' because he is too attack minded; and his choice of position there is ruled by Messi. Yes I agree he is getting fair bit of game time at the team and have the potential to be a 96/97 player with time. But all that will be a gamble you have to make imo. David Silva and De Jong are two rising stars imo. Silva should most definitely get a +1 next change and Jong is rock solid at his rating (a rise too is not out of consideration if City wins the PL). Silva, as rightly said before, the best AM in the PL and he too have enough chance with today's Man City to reach a 95 in the future. At the end I suppose I'll do the deal. But your choice will remain whether you want to play it safe, or take a gamble. I would go for Lavezzi mate. He is playing in CL and Krasic is in Europa league;that makes a difference here. Also Lavezzi has a better NT and get some game time there.

The young manager has a huge challenge ahead of him since last manager MR - Hammer ruined them selling all there best players for cash and average youngsters to leave them in a awful place. Sitting in 17th they have a huge challenge to even get a near a Euro spot. Holland also sparked his outrage at former manager MR - Hammer " Wow proabley the worst manager to take a club if he takes a club he quits a half an later or stays two days buys a lot of droppers and leaves but what happend here was after leaving Fulham in 15th and with a tough Chelsea coming up and he club hopes to Manchester City who are one the best teams in the league. First off he sells Hitzlberger for a 1.5 Million Loss and then selling Perquis for another loss. But the worst one was selling Milto for a player on loan to Parma who a very average team in Italy and a player who is a back up for Juventus

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Personally i wouldn't do that deal unless your in real need of a central midfielder, Chamberlain has every chance at being around 87 rated at the end of the season if he keeps getting oppatunity's at Arsenal. Btw who ever said he was like Walcott is totally wrong he's going to be better in my opinion. Turan's a solid 90 and you should be able to get another 90+ Central midfielder with him if need be i just wouldn't give up Chamberlain as he's going to be a great player

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I don't like that deal. Fletcher has always been underrated and i think he's very important to Man utd. But that deal is unbalanced in his favour and bad for you in the long term. Turan is a good player that could improve and get a higher rating if things go well for him and may even move to a top club one day. I watch some England U21 games, if i can stay awake, and A-O-C is a stand out player easy. He will quickly establish himself at arsenal and is not another walcott, who only ever had pace. The deal is not good long or even medium term and the cash is no good, i'd keep them and miss out on Fletcher.

Re: English Championship 7046 Match Report/Tranfer Gossip Thread LATIMER LASHES SPURS SERPENT Boris Tadec Writes...Holier than thou heavyweight Hugh Latimer today waded into the growing storm that is surrounding controversial, acne ridden Spurs manager Ben Newman after news that directors at Shorpe have overwhelming voted to break off diplomatic relations with last seasons Divison 1 champions. The vote carried out at a late night behind closed doors meeting at Glanford park, follows pimple faced Newmans defiant pledge of allegiance to the devils formation after the North Londoners woeful defeat last night to Bury. Speaking after the game the antagonistic Newmann drew gasps of disapproval from the faith based football community by declaring.. '' 3-5-2 won me games last season and I’ll be sticking to it, I’m hoping Lucifer will weave his evil ways and deliver me some more silverware starting with victory in the charity shield final tomorrow night..'' Ben Newmann The outrageous embracing of the dark arts has sent shock waves throughout the league and at a stroke threatens to further ostracise the North London giants from the growing band of anti 3-5-2 footballing clerics. Earlier this week the highly respected Fulham boss and born again believer in the beautiful game Dom Latouche, was universally praised by fans and pundits alike as he ravaged Newman by accusing the dermatological challenged Spurs man of betrayal and being the head of the serpent which threatens to destroy EC7046. Speaking from a G.A.S.H fund raising event this morning in Hull an angry Latimer added to the besieged Newmanns woes by delivering a stirring assault on the besieged Spurs man blasting... Spurs boss Newmann and an angry Hugh Latimer On the pitch Shorpe enjoyed a productive evening last night with a pre-season thrashing of division 4 rivals Wycombe Wanderers at Glanford Park. Sporting this seasons new attacking formation the Scuns cantered to an easy victory after a hat-rick from new signing Sebastian Fernadez saw off their disappointing visitors. In the last of their pre-season games the unchanged Scuns travel to the DW stadium to face division 1 Wigan before their opening day clash at title favourites Tranmere.

Re: Serie A - Ratings Prediction 2010/2011 (II) He's been injured for quite a while. He's been pretty much injured since last season at Bari. Hard to say if we'll see him soon or not. With how SM rate Serie A' date=' it's difficult to say if he should keep his rating. Based on his ability? He should. Iffy if I would pin him down for a rise. Yes he's a starter at Genoa but they've haven't been in cracking form and an 87 would suit where Genoa is at the moment. However, I think he's Inter material and will be joining them either in January or next Summer so I would definitely keep him. Like Kucka, I'd be iffy on a rise, however, with him so heavily linked with a move to Milan, even enough to send Milan's director to their training session a couple of weeks ago. Definitely a player I'd keep.

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... 1. That means nothing these days. Terry hasn't been his dominant self for over a season and a half now. 30 is not 'ancient' by football standards but it is definitely 'getting on'. 2. Suarez is a great player, he's on fire and currently the star man of a great International team. Theres no reason he cannot hit 93 within the next year and a half. Go for Kompany instead of Terry.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread With the fantasy kits, the way in which the competition will be run is still up for discussion. At the moment we will have a separate thread for this, we will have 5 groups (Each division), people (even if they haven't entered) can vote for their favourite from each division via replying on the thread. People cannot vote for their own team though. I'm going to close this on Saturday, then open the competition on Saturday or Sunday, votes can be cast between when it opens and about 24 hours after. For anymore information, or suggestions, just drop me a VM People can still enter! Preferably the bottom 3 divisions BUT ANYONE CAN STILL ENTER! JUST PM YOUR DETAILS TO ME, USING THIS LINK: CLICK HERE! Some people have expressed interest but haven't entered yet, they are: O'Donnell, MaoaM, Kazzer, At the moment we have: 7 entrants from the Prem (Villa, Bolton, Preston, Spurs, Wolves, Leeds, Sunderland) 7 from Champ (Bournemouth, Notts Forest, Hudderfield, Blackburn, Man City, Cardiff, Colchester) 4 from league 1 (MK Dons, Carlisle, Chesterfield, Southampton) 5 from league 2 (Burton Albion, Northampton, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Bath) 4 from Conf (Gateshead, Eastbourne, AFC Wimbledon, Forest Green)

    Santos Ramires

Santos Ramires, 24, rated 91. He is available so I'm asking will Ramires get the first choice of Andre Villa Boas after he signed Meireles ?
