  2. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Barrios has been injured for majority of this season and Lewandowski has been in fine form since replacing him in the dortmund XI and althought huntelaar dropped last time i think he will get a plus 1 this time and go back to 91 so i would do this deal for the short term.

  4. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... The Guy who getting Phil Jones. Obviously short term its definately better to have Eric Abidal in your side but Phil Jones is a top player and in my opinion if he keeps playing and performing for Manchester United and England he can definately get 94+ In the future' date=' Probably be as good as if not better than Rio Ferdinand and John Terry. Short Term = Abidal Long Term = Phil Jones ! I would get Jones now cause hes going to be hard to get soon and when the changes are made for the England leagues at the end of the month/Start of the December Jones will definately get a +1, Probably deserves +2. Noooooo . Dont do it !. I would of probably said Yes but I have just looked at Ze Roberto and his real life club now is Al Gharafa . The highest rated player from the clubs Nationality is 82, Then theres A Ivory Coast fwd on 84, with Edmilson on 86 then its ze Roberto on 91. I am one who looks make a great squad in a forum filled game world to try do well, my squads always seem small most the time, Take 8000 for example, A squad of around 14 with 3 loans. Reason I am saying no is because the club The 91 Rated player has moved to, Plus Franco Zuculini is a top prospect anyway, and with £3m you could sign about 9 players rated around 75 with a great future ahead, I think its safer stay with Franco and maybe looks if theres anybody else in the Market then Ze Roberto. Hope it helps mate.

  7. Re: English Championship 7046 Match Report/Tranfer Gossip Thread Kevin De Bruyne set for Preston The Belgium wonderkid,Kevin De Bruyne will join Wednesday/Thursday on Deepdale. He did a good job so far at Hull City even if he didn't played in this season. He'll have his chance to catch up the Preston wingers and surely will get game time at us especially for his talent and his technique. We'll becareful with his talent and lets hope he'll prove what he can.The next Belgium thing already got Preston manager respect and the fans are excited by his come.In last season he played only 4 games but scored 1 and got 1 assist. He'll be the main contender for winger position in our team for Krasic and Pablo Hernandez.Everybody is hoping to break every record at only 20 in his career and may he'll gain experiance if Preston will promote in Premier League.Bruyne is happy to be the new Preston player which are sitting on a comfortable 2nd place in Division2.He's ready to be in the same team with players like: Matri,Diego Ribas,Krasic,Pablo Hernandez,Kallstrom and especially with his old team-mate,Kallstrom which was his best friend from Hull. Our fans will wait him in a huge number on Deepdale, approx. 15,000 on Thursday to see his presentation. Good luck and prove yourself Kevin De Bruyne!

    The 4 Nation Challenge

Re: The 4 Nation Challenge In a game between sides of the same nation, the goals for and against will be the same whatever the score so the game is effectively pointless It only matters for the actual league (which has position points at the half and end of season) so it could be worth throwing if one team needs a boost up or something.

  13. Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread Honestly? I don't think he's one for the future. He might turn out to be a decent player, but I'd rather have Rodrigo and Nelson Oliveira instead. And I doubt he'll have much chances in the team, even though Benfica made a large investment on him. If you gave yourself the trouble of checking the predictions you wouldn't have to wait for an answer.

  14. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Im obviously going to say walker being a spurs fan, but defenders are rare on the game as we all know and this kid is a strong RB future england starter and playing regular in a top 6 side. Welbeck is also good and will also start for england soon, but wing/fwds are 2 a penny so i'd take the right back.

  16. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2011/2012 (I) There is no such thing as a safe/assured riser, especially not a safe +5 riser. Any player could still decide to give up his football career to travel around the world and visit all underwater animal zoos to fulfil his lifetime dream one day before the rating changes, and it that case there won't be a nice +x rise but rather an ugly Ret sign next to his name. Sure, that scenario is unrealistic, but there have also been horror injuries, disciplinary actions etc. There are still 2/3 to maybe even 7/8 games to by played, so if there's a +3-5 rise predicted currently, it depends a lot on how much and how well the player plays in these games. If he doesn't play at all, then he'll most probably end up with the smaller rise, but if he does go on to play in 6 more games and excel in them all, then it might even become a +6 or 7. Take Chris Löwe for example. A player rated 75, but he managed to get some playing time for the current Bundesliga champions due to Schmelzer's injury (who played every single Bundesliga minute last season btw and only missed one EL game due to an undeserved suspension). Schmelzer is still struggling a bit currently, both with small niggling injuries and due to that probably with his performances as well, and Löwe hasn't done any worse than him in his games so far. If Schmelzer misses a couple of more games due to his injuries (which is impossible to tell), then Löwe does have a big chance of getting that +5 you want, but if he does find back to his last season's form, then there's no place for Löwe in Dortmund's team. Also, as usually, you can expect an updated and more concrete prediction once the changes are nearer.

  25. Riferimento: Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I completely agree about Wollschied.. I'd only add that Camporese has been sent back to his under 21 team, where he's playing as a regular.. Moreover, he's part of italian UNDER 21.. Fiorentina under 21 is the italian most winning under 21 team, so I guess that he'll become a good player in not a long time.. Moreover, Fiorentina have recently changed their manager.. Now there is Delio Rossi (which I absolutely LOVE:p) who might decide to call Camporese back in the first team.. BTW, these are only theorical considerations, so I'd go for Wollschied

  31. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Jagielka is safe, I doubt he'll rise and seems like you're stacked with CB's Arteta will defo not drop, may rise IMO 30% chance. Lampard is safe IMO. If you do the deal what you're doing is adding more depth in your CB position (which you really don't need) and sacrificing 4 rating points in the centre of your midfield. IMO don't do it. You don't need excessive depth and Lampard is safe for now.

  38. Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread "Besides, the Portuguese League has had 92 and 93 rated players before, it wouldn't be anything out of ordinary to have them again." It would be only fair IMO, players like Moutinho and Hulk have deserved a higher rating for time now. Even Falcao with everything that he accomplished last year did not rise over 91 just because he was playing in the Portuguese league. Very unfair.

  39. Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread So many words! I read through all of it, but honestly I haven't got the patience to elaborate a giant answer. I'll just stick to the basics: Yes, the French league is more attractive than the Portuguese. Their country is richer, meaning there is more money involved in their league; the stadiums have perceptibly better crowds than ours specially when it comes to smaller teams; their competitiveness is higher, there are 4/5 teams which can effectively fight for the title, we only got two in the past years (sorry Sporting)... Now, should the Portuguese top clubs be rated at least equally to their French counterparts? Of course! The only real point of comparison between different leagues is in European competitions. And France can't touch us ATM, and probably never will. I mean, just look at the facts: European knock-outs between both countries are almost always on our favour. Last season a mediocre Sporting won against French champions Lille without breaking a sweat. So how's it possible that Lille has a rating cap of 91 or 92 while Sporting has to stick with a 90? Ok, some results might be surprising and that's football. But in a very recent past Porto defeated Lyon, Benfica eliminated PSG and Marseille, Sporting won against Lille... It doesn't make sense that the French ratings are higher. Besides, the Portuguese League has had 92 and 93 rated players before, it wouldn't be anything out of ordinary to have them again.

Re: Official England Thread So England get a win over Spain, their first victory over the number 1 ranked side since the Fifa rankings were introduced. We all know what this now means - England will now win Euro 2012 as well as the 2014 World Cup and probably even the African Cup of Nations.
