Re: English Championship 5579 -Match Report/Transfer Gossip Thread EC 5579 - FINAL TURN AT A GLANCE WITH LAWRO WHyzxVlOI98 THE ASHH'S TASHES PREMIER LEAGUE Sorry for my absence over last few months, but Uni has made me very busy indeed. It is one of 5579's biggest ever nights tonight! Brighton can celebrate promotion to next seasons Premier League as the Championship Champions. What an incredible achievement achieved by Ed Moses! Wow! THE TITLE RACE ALL OVER? PRESTON VS LIVERPOOL 3RD VS 1ST Liverpool know that anything from their game at Deepdale tonight against Preston will ensure them regaining the Premier League trophy. They won the first ever title in Season 1 under Bail, and now MUTD seems to be set to follow him in his footsteps in his debut season here at Anfield. Preston will be no easy game, but I expect the Reds to be celebrating tonight. Remember of course, Preston have now secured a spot in next seasons Champions League which will be viewed as a huge step forwards for the Lillywhites. But for tonight, a Liverpool win. PRESTON 0 - 1 LIVERPOOL ARSENAL ALL BUT 2ND PORTSMOUTH VS ARSENAL 13TH VS 2ND Arsenal need Liverpool to lose tonight, them to beat Portsmouth, and to overturn a 9 goal GD swing at the same time. Its virtually an impossible task, but this season's unpredictability has been there to be seen, and could strike in style tonight. Arsenal would be looking to demolish Portsmouth tonight, and it would make total sense for Jenks to really set up for goals tonight. They have nothing to lose behind them in the league. Portsmouth will look to frustrate the Gunners though, and they will sure make thigns difficult tonight. But I am predicting a result that gives Arsenal half a chance. PORTSMOUTH 0-4 ARSENAL STAMFORD BRIDGE'S BIGGEST BLUES? CHELSEA VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 18TH VS 8TH Chelsea will be relegated tonight if we see Shack's Spurs side claim victory here tonight. You'll never see a Stamford Bridge so dull and dark if that happens to be the case. How Seren Lim's still here is beyond everyones belife! Its Manchester United all over again! They were betrayed, and suffered these consequences themselves, and now Chelsea appear to be following suit. I think Spurs will make Chelsea really suffer their darkest night tonight. Therefore, it wont matter what Derby do - they'll be safe, and Chelsea will join neighbours Fulham, and Reading in an all 3 london sides premier league relegation! CHELSEA 1 - 2 TOTTENHAM THE CHAMPIONSHIP HULL TO BREAK THE MOLD AND GO BACK TO PREM? EXETER GOING BACK TO D3 OR NOT? HULL CITY VS EXETER CITY 2ND VS 18TH Its a big, big night for both of these sides meeting at the KC Stadium tonight as Hull seek to relegate their opposition, and finally make a return to the Premier League at the same time. Hull are 2nd on GD from Everton in what will prove to be a very entertaining night from the Championship promotion race. A Hull win here sends them up to the Premier League, seeing as Everton dont win and overturn the 7 point GD at the same time. It'll all be well deserved for Lenny and his brave Tigers though, who have suffered playoff heartache for the past couple of seasons. HULL 3-1 EXETER CITY ONE FINAL MERSEYSIDE MIGHTY PUSH? EVERTON VS BIRMINGHAM CITY 3RD VS 11TH Everton will be hoping for Exeter to do them a favour tonight - deny Hull victory, so they can go out, beat Birmingham and clinch a return to the Premierleague themselves. Everton have adapted well to Championship life very well, and have certainly produced a stern promotion campaign. Whatever happens tonight, they'll be in the playoffs worst case scenirio - not something they'll be after mind you at all! Birmingham have got an outside chance of scraping a playoff spot of their own, but I think its too late for Brum. EVERTON 2-1 BIRMINGHAM LEAGUE ONE BAGGIES BAG' IN THE CHAMP? STOKE CITY VS WEST BROMWICH ALBION 20TH VS 2ND West Brom can clinch promotion back to the Championship tonight with a win over unmanaged, and hopeless Stoke. Stoke are the latest side to suffer the top story fall from 5579 - from the Premier League to League 2. Will they ever return? West Brom wont care what so ever. STOKE CITY 0-3 WEST BROMWICH ALBION LEAGUE TWO CREWE SET FOR PERFECT PLAYOFF PREPERATION? CREWE ALEXANDRA VS SWINDON TOWN 3RD VS 18TH Crewe will be eyeing perfect preperation to their big playoff semi final date with victory tonight over a tough Swindon side, who I tip for better things next season under Dave Leigh. Crwe have 3rd place sown up in the league, and Steve Thompson will be very keen to get a positive result tonight to act as a catalyst for their playoff promotion bid. CREWE 1-0 SWINDON TOWN "GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE"

Re: Official Red Devils thread Not a great performance but everyone knows we will be challenging for the title come end of season. Surprised Lindegaard started but no goalie in the world would have saved those shots. Rooney needs to play as a striker and it's so frustrating to see Pogba on the bench instead of playing him in midfield and giving him a chance no wonder he wants away. Well played to Newcastle they closed us down well and wasnt till very late that they parked the bus so to speak. As for transfer window I do really think that we need someone creative in midfield but dont see us getting anyone. That being said I hope that when Cleverly gets back we start to play some good football against the better sides. He to me is currently what were missing most and he's our only creative midfielder apart from Nani when he's on form. Newcastle deserved it today though hopefully we'll bounce back

English Championship 7777 Hall of Fame

Re: English Championship 7777 Hall of Fame ★★ Wrexham Induct Two Prolific Strikers ★★ To celebrate another successful set of Mid Season transfers, Wrexham manager Barnaby Dowling has decided to reward the two outgoing player who he beleives had the greatest impact on the frst half of the season. James McFadden and Jan Sclaudraff are now in the 7777 Hall of Fame for Wrexham! Arriving at the start of the season fro £2.9 million, James McFadden took Division 4 by storm. In only 14 games and despite a long lay off, he netted and astonishing 19 times with 12 assists and 5 Man of the Match awards. He managed and average rating of 8.57, putting him in the cream of the crop. We wish him the best in Sunny Brazil, where he will play for Vasco De Gama. Schlaudraff was only marginally more expensive at £3.9 million, and he formed an incredible strike partnership with McFadden in the opening weeks of the season. Following the arrival of Daniel Sturridge on loan, he dropped back into central midfield, with no less success. 13 goals and 7 assists in 17 games is an impressive haul. Even more impressive were his 4 Man of the Matches and and average rating of 8.76, the best in the Division bar Sturridge.

    Official Newcastle United Thread

Re: Official Newcastle Utd thread Fabricio Coloccini - never fails to impress me. Fantastic again today and United didn't get the betting of Coloccini at all during the game. With Vidic missing a lot of the start of the season through injury I think he's been the second best centre back in the Premier League this season, only behind Vincent Kompany. You need to get the contract sorted out as ASAP, as not only is he a vital player for Newcastle but I don't want you to sign Ashley Williams as the replacement

Re: Greek Championship 16 - Discussion, Banter and Match Report Thread Congrats -up to second with that win The Cretans enjoy a rather laboured 2-1 win over Panionis and finally up to 6th in the table with Keita and Gomis replying with an item each after falling behind to a 54th minute strike from geriatric striker Ze Roberto who "caresses in a curling shot! What technique! " after getting on the end of a clearance by out running and out jumping our CB Koscielny and performing a triple overhead twist with a half roll pike Kos been dropped to the bench

You Dont Need Wing(mata) But Toure and Busquets Can Make A Great DM, And Modric Behinde Them In CM And Rememer Modric Can Play In LM. And I Don't Think They'll Drop At Last For Mid Term. But, But If You Play With 2 AM, Take Mata, You Don't Have Any Options To Cover... My Rank For them: Modric Mata Toure Players You Would Let Go(Depend On Your Formation): Arteta Del Piero Bastos Pirlo

    Help Me?

Re: Help Me? i wouldn't do the deal nasri is safe with the possibilty to rise if city do win the league this season and he plays a decent part in doing so evra is on his way down, most of his game is/was based on pace, losing it now so is looking dodgy when he plays as he can't rely on out running players anymore, rafael not sure whats going on with this lad looked like the obvious succesor to neville but really fell off the boil of late so he's looking like another jonny evans all in all i think your swapping a strong possible riser for two droppers

He was welcomed by thousand of Hull fans, many who queued outside the stadium for days just to catch a glimsp over the manager the believe can bring back the glory days to KC Stadium. Some of the lucky fans welcoming Stones Stones was loved at QPR and their fans were devastated when he resigned after just one season stating that he needed more time out of the game as his reason. He reshaped QPR from top to bottom selling the entire first team and reserve squads within two weeks and used the money too bring in stars like Di Natile, Crouch, Lukaku, Zanetti and many more.
