Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Listen up Guys For some reason SM is not allowing me to send out a global PM to everyone so here goes! The original owner of this GW, Joe Robinson quit his team and quit the setup thus opening up the GW into nothing more than a public GW. From what has already happened and occured in this GW i do believe that this GW could be one of the best GW's in SM. So, i've taken the bull by it's horns and i have bought the ownership of this GW. As of 2.24pm this afternoon i now own this GW. The first change i've made is to revert the GW back to a private application. I'll be damned if i'm allowing any old arse and idoit into this setup. I've been around for many years and i have a good knowledge of who is who, who are the good and respectful guys and who are the idoits. I will try and keep the idoits out as best i can. So, on that logic i'm not sure whether or not to raise the entry to having a rep of 70+, maybe a 100?. As for the setup right now. The GW is 77 out of 80 teams full (96.25%) full. Brentford and Yeovil are unmanaged and are open to be taken over (Any guys know of anyone willing to take them on, point them in my direction) Chesterfield are on offer to Dan Griffin(149) Fire any ideas you have at me, you can get me on here - Moodymark I manage Southampton in this GW - PM me if needed. Cheers and good luck guys Regards Mark

This kind of risers are really useful for those clubs with really low budget, that wanna earn some easy money. 75 is now the new minimum rating for some kind of leagues, so players who played not a lot of minutes probably raise till 75. Unfortunately, we all know that SM don't review at all some national leagues, so you can't earn any profit buying peruvian or southafrican players. If you bought in 2009 Ricardo Ardiles, waiting for his raise, till now you'd paid him 620k of wages and his rating is still 70. My advice is: go for players from those countries SM is going to review periodically, and buy players from "exotic" countries only if SM announce those reviews. I'm beginning with countries whose rating review has been already announced by SM, and then Holland and Portugal, probably the next two. I wanna say thank you to Gizb, Bierzo and other guys from spanish forum, as a lot of those players have been already mentioned there, is pretty accurate but doesn't have a lot of visibility, so I hope it's useful for english forumers too Dark Green: possible risers. YBR - Young Brazilian Risers What YBR will offer ? The proposal of YBR is to share with every manager knowledge about new talents of Brazilian football, transfers, information, statistics and everything that you want to know about Brazilian football. The YBR thread is made mainly to show the future predictions for rating changes, but any forumer must ask anything about the brazilian football, known as a home of soccer "magicians". Every week the predictions may be updated depending in the requirement of this, we want to make this thread an active place to share everything with each other, if you want to know a current form of a player, you would ask, if you want to know a rumour of a transfer, you would ask. Scored twice for his side and decided the match, with quick and confuing moves, it is a rare mix of skill with speed and efficiency, a guy to keep an eye to the future in world football, have been developing their football ever more due to too great partnership with Ronaldinho, with who has learned a lot and gained experience. Another great performers of the week were: Guilherme Torres (Corinthians) , Elkeson (Botafogo). There's two links, one for a report of the match a video with the two Bernard goals in this weekend, with Ronaldinho saying that he's happy of see the birth of another wonderful player. The other link, is a direct one for the results of the weekend for this 23rd fixture, enjoy. --> http://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/times/atletico-mg/noticia/2012/09/r49-sobre-bernard-feliz-por-ver-o-nascimento-de-mais-um-craque.html#atleta-bernard --> http://www.soccerway.com/national/brazil/serie-a/2012/regular-season/ "The Brazilianess" 2nd Edition (24th and 25th Fixture) Romarinho (Corinthians) Romarinho is a nightmare for Palmeiras, in his debut for Corinthians, he scored 2 goals, and this round, made his mark again, and was celebrating with the fans mocking rival, which caused confusion. Anyway, he already shows great progress as a player, is constantly evolving, it's a different boy who always seeks finalization, has good speed and good dribbling, is standing out and for Chelsea is better to beware the Club World Cup, because to stop this boy, is virtually impossible. --> Direct link with the highlights of the derby, Corinthians x Palmeiras. http://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/times/corinthians/noticia/2012/09/gol-no-derbi-e-fim-de-jejum-animam-romarinho-e-mais-motivacao.html[/color] PS: The "Brasileirão" is in the 26th round of 38, every information may be updated. VACANCIES IF YOU WANT IN Liverpool 1-0 Barnsley Liverpool added the Charity Shield to the League Championship and European Champions League titles tonight with a professional job over high flying Barnsley. 71'000 fans travelled to the Olympic Stadium in Athens for some reason to see Gregory Van Der Wiel's stunning 68th minute strike give Liverpool the silverware in a very even match where Ozil, Pato, Erding , and Afellay also shone. Manager Gaz spoke of his relief at the final whistle and was already looking forward to tomorrow's Super Cup match against Wolfsburg. In the Barsnley Managers post match conference Dermo was quoted as saying 'We had a match tonight'?

    Help With Deal(s) Thread...

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Anyway. Kuba should hit 90, and that will most likely be his peak. Reus is young and has settled quite well with Borussia, at the end of the season Reus should be 91 if Borussia does a great season and has a good CL run. Javi Martinez will probably be a regular for Bayern, but i dont think he will be rising this season, even tho he probably might peak at around 93/94 i guess if he fulfills his potential. While i see Reus peaking at 92 personally (he might rise more thought, who knows). ABout the deal, if based just on the 3 players i wouldnt do it, if you are full of better fwd's and wingers, but you badly need a CM or CB than i would consider doing it.

Re: English Championship 231990 - Match/Transfer Report Thread Derby Ease To First Win Derby County strolled to their first win of the season with a comprehensive 2-0 victory against Millwall at Pride Park. Alejandro Alfaro and Siem De Jong both scored for thier first goals in Derby shirts. Both sides attempted to keep hold of possession in the opening stages of the match without looking threatening going forward and Jordan Ayew was released down the left on ten minutes but his low ball towards De Jong was too far in front of the former Ajax forward. De Jong was fouled six minutes later with Michael Ballack finding Alfaro and he whipped a ball towards the back post that De Jong headed beyond Marco Storari to give his side the lead. Millwall's first shot of the came shortly after the half hour when Stephan El Shaawary showed some neat footwork on the edge of the area but his shot drifted harmlessly wide of the goal. Another set piece saw The Rams take a two goal lead when Ballack's delivery into the area was met by Alfaro who headed home to double their lead. Derby looked tired in the closing stages but they managed to raise their game just enough to hold the visitors at bay and they saw out the closing stages to claim their first win of the season. Derby County: Neto; Bartra, Nery, Rojo, Boly, Ballack, (McClean 60') Zuculini, Romulo, Alfaro, De Jong, Ayew. Subs Not Used: Kapino, Andersen, Zen, Torres, Ben Khalifa. Millwall: Storari, Tymoschuk, Smith, Aronica, Kehl, Gargano, El Shaarawy, Rosicky, Palacio, Diamanti, Polo. Subs Not Used: N'Guessan, Feeney, Henderson, Reale, Lowry, Ward, Dunne.

Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed? I personally think that review times should approximately be like this: (i just put the league that came upto my mind so might aswell be not totally accurate some leagues might be missing etc) France England Germany italy Spain = 3-4 months Brasil Argentina Portugal Russia Ukraine Netherlands Belgium Turkey Switzerland Greece Scotland = 5 to 7 months Uruguay Croatia Serbia Colombia Sweden Chile Mexico Poland Bosnia Japan USA Czech Republic Ireland Romania Paraguay Australia Slovakia Ecuador = 8 to 12 months And the rest 12 to (18)24 months I would say this would be a correct reviewing timelime for all leagues (and most of the leagues ARE being reviewed in these timeline periods, just many others arent), with some of them minor leagues like ireland 2nd and stuff to be uptaded every 3-4 years when most of the important leagues have been reviewed etc. At least thats how a serious company that actually does a correct update for a service (SM) in which they ask money back would do. If the game was totally free, i surely wouldnt complain at all but seeing that i pay for Gold membership, i definetly can suggest to actually start putting a little bit more effort into making the reviews, it would make everyone happier.

    DAiS Genesis | Media

Re: DAiS Genesis | Media Braintree Town- From Rags to ...well Rags but better ones really Shall we take it back a little, to the date 24th August 2012, and in the lovely county of Essex in a town named oddly Braintree. A young and yet very talented manager took over the rein of Braintree Town FC's head coach. The Young manager when looking at the league they had decided to enter their team into, at first he thought, what the fudging hell have I ruddy put myself in for. However one did not over panic after seeing that managers like Christian Bishop, Dai Smouthy and Sean Fitzpatrick were managing sides and had a second though of hmmmm...this might just be okay...with that and teams like Deportivio lack of talent in the league it might not be that tough especially managed by some light austin guy...its not a heavy league thats going to weigh us down its light!...and well manager Justice knew that much change was going to be needed in order to compete with some of the teams who were participating in the league and throughout the leagues they may be within in the not so distant future, looking at the Divisions above themselves and hoping that they may one day be there. Braintree Town were placed into the Divison 3 with Trabzonspor, Leicester City, Dnipro, Torino, Blackburn, Hertha BSC and Watford...meh some thought as well as did Justice that there was no Justice or descency thought of when they were placed into a league with such clubs from around Europe. However they did not complain .....MUCH.....and just decided that they best just knuckle down in the transfer window and make sure they bring in some what a few player whom actually with them bring in talent...and so the story begins wth transfers made... The First few names to arrive at Braintree Town were Raheem Sterling(75), Nick Powell(70), Harry Kane(80) , Reece Wabara(75), Nathan Baker(78), Bryon Lawrence(75) and Yado Mambo(75). Of whom Justice was very pleased to bring in such talented players...however when he saw that teams in his league had signed players like Neymar ...he was kinda more like...well...erm hows best to describe it...he felt like a donkey at a horse party...where your not quite up to the same standard......however he played it cool ... and quickly jumped back into the market the following day and on the 25th signed in Jordan Ibe(75), Larnell Cole(75), Adam Ledgzindis(75), Nathan Knight-Percival(72), Craig Noone(81), Wesley Fonderingham(72) and Jamie Vardy(75), Inspite of these signings and trying to sign Ryan Bertrand who refused to play for such a small club...kinda put...it all into perspective for Justice and how big the challange ahead was going to be...the fans were liking the new players, but want a big signing...someone who could compete with the likes of Neymar and Lavezzi...who did they buy Jordan Rhodes(82)...amongst other suchs as John Ruddy (86) and James Tomkins(85)....and to this day John Ruddy remains the highest rated player at Braintree Town...and players like that were only able to be brought in after a massive sum of cash was injected by the clubs chairman into the club for transfers!...So it was a kinda slow building up process up the point of John Ruddy...so there is a long way to go til the point where my team will be up to the same level as those competing in this league! So after all of Braintree Town's Money was Spend this is the team They ended up with untill more money comes in! Team:First XI ------John Ruddy(86)------ --Lowton(78)--Tomkins(85)--Batth(80)--Baker(78)-- --Bennett(83)--Norwood(80)--Gardner(82)--Noone(81)-- --Rhodes(82)--Zaha(84)-- Rest of Squad: Raheem Sterling(75) Cameron Lancaster(75) Henoc Mukendi(75) Sm Magri(75) Ashley Miller(70) Harry Kane(80) Jamaal Lascelles(78) Nick Powell(70) Jordan Ibe(75) Yado Mambo(75) Jamie Vardy(75) Adam Legzdins(75) Byron Lawrence(75) Larnell Cole(75) Wesley Foderingham(72) Simon Eastwood(70) Aden Flint(70) Dan Burn(70) Reece Wabara(75) Nathaniel Knight-Percival(72) Kyle McFadzean(72) Andre Blackman(68) Nathan Wedderburn(72) Ross Draper(72) Jon Taylor(72) Ashley Harris(72) Brandon Zibaka(72) Kwesi Appiah(70) Charlie Lassaso(70) Jordan Sanderson(70) John Ruddy, The Best They Got The England International Goalkeeper, John Ruddy, is the stand out player in at Braintree Town since the arrival of manager Nick Justice. Him along with now former West Ham Centre Back James Tomkins, both arriving just a day apart which was a part of the big cah injection by the chairman who demonstrated his desire and ambition to succeed at this high level. Before the season began Justice said "If we get 1 point i'll be happy, all season!" Well after 4 games Braintree Town have a lovely 7 points, After Victroies against both Watford and Hertha BSC as well as a draw picked up against Blackburn Rovers, after a nightmare 5-1 loss on the opening day before the newer arrival did bring down the morale in the Braintree Town camp, however they pushed on and have begun very nicely depsite being knocked out the cup by Parma, Just considers it to have been a very succesful opening to the season, thus far More News to come this is just a small little report on how things are thus far.

    -Alain Traoré-

Re: -Alain Traoré- Although I made a large post the other day, I'm not as foolish as MUTD. I believe this guy could be very talented, because I'm aware that even in this generation when the amount of football being broadcasted and analysed etc, a lot of talents go unnoticed by the majority. I'm of the opinion a player that age could easily increase to a high rating. I see no reason why 30 year olds cant go up from an 88 to a 90 too. This is mainly based on watching Italian football. The amount of late bloomers in Italy is crazy. Grosso, who netted in the semis of the world cup final and scored the winning penalty in the final, was basically an amateur till as late as 23. Diamanti, at 24 was still in a side lower than serie b then played in Serie B till 26..he played an important role for Italy at the Euros. Peluso is 28, made his debut for Italy this year. And so on. I now recall watching Lorient against PSG, and they did a good job, but I believe it was away and obviously against the best side in France so its not a fair game to judge the attacking players but I will watch out for this guy and if Lorient get show on ESPN, I'll try to watch.

    Official Liverpool Thread

Re: Official Liverpool Thread May I start off by saying I'm delighted that the truth has come out officially after 23 years (It's been known that Liverpool fans didn't do what they were accused of long before that mind you.),I remember my dad telling me a story about Hillsborough and I had a lump in my throat at the end of it,he told me how he went to Highbury that day to watch Newcastle play Arsenal that day,he said that he remembers coming into the pub and expecting to hearing Arsenal fans cheering and shouting as they won the game 1-0,however he walked into complete and utter silence,he looked around and there was hundreds of fans just glued to the TV watching on in shock and horror, the fact that it could have so easily been my Dad instead terrifies me,the tragedy was with the way stadiums were set up back then it was a disaster waiting to happen, unfortunately the tragedy occured at Hillsborough on the 15th of April 1989. However whilst not wanting to sound unsentimental to that at all, there was also another aspect of this that was a disgrace as well, how when the whole city was on it's knees the people your suppose to trust and be there to support you in the Police and the Government turn there backs on you, dessert you and pin all the blame on Innocent fans, how they can live with themselves knowing what they've put families through over the last 23 years is beyond me. The fact that most members of the police force in there made statements regarding the disaster that were unfavourable to the police is the most damning piece of evidence IMO,whilst it seems that the vast majority of the police handled the situation horribly, the ones who perhaps did understand the enormity of the situation and done there job well were massively let down by the rest of the police force,to think 51 lives could have been saved if the police done there job properly is sickening enough as it is,the fact they then covered that all up and doctored statements makes me feel ashamed that such a corrupt police force coud have ever existed in this country at any time period, espically knowing that in a certain situation this could have been my Dad instead. Also I want to pay tribute to the wonderful familys of the 96 people involved in the disaster, and all the fantastic Support and Campaign groups who never stopped fighting for the truth despite been denied and delayed time and time again, the fact they had the inner strength and courage to fight on and not wilt after nearly a quarter of century is marvellous to see,I hope the fact they now have the Truth can offer some kind of closure to the families involved. R.I.P to the 96 involved in that tragic day. JFT96

    The New Players Thread

Re: The New Players Thread A noticeable player added today is Miroslav Kacer. He is a 16 years old midfielder of Zilina, one of Slovakia's best clubs (last year's champions, second up to now this season). Miroslav Kacer, despite his young age, has already 5 appearances for Zilina after 7 matches (1 as a starter and 4 as a sub), scoring 1 goal. He scored on his debut for his team, becoming the youngest scorer ever in the Slovakian League. He is considered as a hot prospect in Slovakia, a future NT player for them. He is definitely a player that is worth to watch out for, one for the future. The only bad thing for him (actually, is SM's bad!) is the fact that he plays in a league that SM haven't reviewed for years, and probably won't review it in the foreseeable future! So, Kacer will probably stay at his 73 (actually, they should add him as a 75...) for a very long time, even if he is a regular first team member for Zilina! So, i will shortlist him and (unless you are in a very-very competitive gameworld) i think this is the best option, until he moves clubs or if/when SM ever review Slovakia. Nonetheless, this is a talented kid.
