  14. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Woahh woahh steady on now, this may be a strange concept for some people on here but i have something that distracts me outside of soccer manager called.. are you guys ready for this? A life unfortunatley this strange thing often keeps me from devoting all my attention to the game and therefore my posts sarcasm aside im busy as hell lately, not using it as an excuse but im genuinley struggling to find time for any extra activities at the moment. Im not worried tho il be fine this season Oh dom! You remind me of a gilted ex. Never good enough for to do anything in this league but you take great pleasure in twisting the knife when things arent going well for others. Maybe if you put your efforts into actually doing something with your lame side other than mocking others youd be lucky to be a one season wonder until that point enjoy being the bridesmade. Maybe one day youl get married

    Help With Deal(s) Thread...

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I'd go with Pogba. In my opinion he has the most potential and will get a 91 in the next ratings. Moura has bags of talent but just hasn't quite lived up to expectations. Yes. He's still a top striker. It depends on the price and your other options etc though obviously.

  19. Respuesta: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Currently Villa. Atletico is doing fantastic in UCL and BBVA league and Villa is scoring regularly. Yes' date=' there are many possibilities him to get 94 again. I would take Navas. Playing awesome in Man City and immovable in Spanish National Team. Possible rise to 93 soon if he keeps playing like now. I would buy Agüero. It's one of my favourite players and now is playing fantastic. Potential rise to 95. Anyway, the 3 options are so good.

  21. Re: Advertising in Match Report??? well i could just be seeing what i want to see here and there could be another explanation for it but since the "adverts" have been added to the match reports the "reserved teams" in gold champs have plummeted before ad's were added still wasn't that impressive but was pretty steady averaging between 50-60 took, higher if it was like a marker number, since they've been added the last two have gone through with 25 and 28 teams reserved hopefully this will continue or even get worse so they actually get the message that its totally out of order to do this

    The Politics Thread

Re: The Politics Thread What Marx really said was that pure capitalism would never work, and would over time self-destruct. Marx came up with his writings at a time when industrialization was still new, so labor laws on safety, child labor, and reasonable hours (read: anything less than 15 per day) didn't exist. Marx observed these working conditions and concluded that at some point these people must decide they can't tolerate these conditions anymore. And they will revolt, starting with the richest countries. He got the first part right, but the second part wrong. A real revolution in rich countries never happened, ironically in no small part because of socialist policies implemented by capitalist elites. (e.g. Von Bismarck implementing social policies to prevent a lower-class revolt, ensuring the existing elites remain in control of the country) The only places that did have a communist revolution were some of the poorest countries at the time, because their management was too incompetent to prevent it.

  25. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Doesn't really matter tbh but I'd take Aguero. After that its Muller > Cavani for me considering versatility. Gomez. Villa's doing well but he's getting a little old and Gomez is imo one of the most underrated strikers in RL who's just unlucky that he had to play under managers who didn't really use a finisher in the end (his efficiency is among the highest in the world).

  27. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Schafer. Tough one. Although De Rossi seems like less likeable' date=' but he is versatile player compared to Gundogan and Roma been doing well this season. I suppose it depend on what can you get with that 13M. Short term : De Rossi Long term : Gundogan Too much for Reus. The duo for me. Depend on your squad as there are versatile players in there. Muller / Aguero Cavani Gomez.

  28. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread York City News: After last seasons dramatic D4 escape, (securing one point against Wycombe on the last matchday avoiding relegation) York City's goal is a mid-table finish this season. Without a big budget we decided to loan a couple of players to deepen the squad: Marc Stendera 17 / 78 Southampton Paul Kok 18 / 76 Fulham Jakub Hromada 17 / 76 Fulham In addition to the loaned players we were able to buy Piotr Parzyszek from de Graafschap in a deal involving Liam Darville who had no future at our club anymore. Fans are excited about the new signing. Parzyszek is seen as a big talent and was the goal leader in the Dutch D2. The team as it stands now should be the team to secure a midtable position, fans and manager are positive that this can be achieved as our squad has more depth compared to last season. In our Friendly against Liverpool we only lost 0-1 which gives good hopes for the upcoming season. Also one of our topplayers Zakaria Bakkali is slowly recovering from his long injury.

  29. Re: Falcao or Lewandowski? Yeah, it's a pretty tough one, mate! Regardless, I'd get Lewa. He's younger than Falcao and I feel he's moving to an even bigger club than BVB, in the near future. I believe a move, like that, would allow him to improve even more, as a top striker.

Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread The manager of Gateshead was invited by me, he did really well in a previous setup I was in but in this one he makes some odd decisions, and seems to be annoying lots of people. Hes also in massive debt (-£13million). Which is why I was really surprised he didnt get any cash for Marquinhos.

  41. Respuesta: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Marquinhos always. He will be one of the Top-3 CB. Morata. He will be the striker of Madrid and Spanish National Team. If you're buying him YES' date=' if you're selling him NOT. The duo clearly. Only Reus is at least as good as Mesut. Marcel Schafer. Better league and better team.

  42. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Marquinhos Morata. From what I heard' date=' he could move to Tottenham in the winter break. Hope to be on loan or with a buy-back clause, because Real will lose him like Negredo and Soldado or Mata. I would do it. I would keep the duo. Schafer for me.

Fans pay to watch a football match in the stadium. Of course some are idiots... But players shouldn't disrespect them, that's all I'm saying, mate. As for Josué, at least he could have apologised. Nevertheless, there are dumb players eveywhere.

  50. Re: C'mon, match engine has a problem JMH you display the typical response from people who believe we are just complaining about the match engine because we lost a game. If this was a one off then it would be fine, but so many people are being affected in all leagues. It's ludicrous that teams could lose to such lower opposition all the time and then back up and beat another team so comprehensively. 80 rated versus 95 should not even matter about the tactics. I understand the argument that the lower opposition could have the game of their lives but maybe that would be a sneaky 1-0 win. They wouldn't thrash an opposition of such high quality. The point is everything regarding the match engine is so random and it seems to matter little what team you play and how you're tactics are set. Goalkeepers who concede goals from all shots on targets get high ratings, strikers who score and assist get low ratings. Worst of all the tactics set do not reflect the outcome. There is a manager in my game world who sets all his defenders to run back and all his midfielders to also run back. He plays with one striker by himself. He uses that striker as a target man but sets his passing to short. How many short passes will make it to a striker playing by himself with no midfield going forward? This is the point we are making, I don't care if I lose and the odd strange result is fine as it reflects real life, but random outcomes happen to often and that is the problem here
