  1. Re: Getting pounded in a league with mates, spare my blushes? Well firstly.... You have a few NMF players so they need to be rested... Your back line is your weak point so personally I would go 3-5-2 and have 2 if not 3 DMC tracking back to give you cover, your loosing games as your midfield is too open. Pack the midfield and attack down the wings where you are strong..... You have some decent young players but if you have money then break out the bank for a striker!!

  2. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread All of the away support will have been standing anyway, like they do every week in the Premier League. Hillsborough was not caused by standing, and there are differences between an old style terrace and the newer safe standing that is being proposed. Rows of seats would not have stopped crushing, they'd have caused further injuries. If there was no standing, then there wouldn't have been an incident but if you stop standing in football then you'll kill the atmosphere. Safe standing is a much safer way of accommodating supporters who would prefer to stand up during games, and would reduce accidents. It's not going to stop injuries in football, but it will reduce it and in modern day policing at football matches another Hillsborough just isn't going to happen.

    Help With Deal(s) Thread...

Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Ramires + Nem is too much for Khedira, imo. So I'd stick with the duo.

  8. Re: Spanish Championship 26700 Discussion Thread Team of the Turn for Division 1 is now up: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showpost.php?p=2815119&postcount=4 Regarding the kit selection, just want some opinions, would people prefer it as I've done in this one (the kit being that of the club of the manager of the turn) or would you guys rather it be just a normal kit and not a kit of a club in the Division?

    Reality Check 2

Re: Reality Check 2 [MOVE]Rub of Celtic[/MOVE] Cookiemonster earned a draw with Celtic against Zenit. The match ended 1 - 1 between Celtic and Zenit in their Division 3 fixture. N'koulou was on the scoresheet for his side. We used a lil luck in our game with only 40% of the ball, but we'll take it AC Milan away, next up just gets tougher an tougher with only 8 points from 7 games, slipping down to 5th overall

  24. Re: Gold Championship 1 News Finally Kaiserslauten claim the Bundesliga!! It has been a long road here in Germany, numerous domestic cups and an amazing couple of Champions League Triumphs have elevated Kaiserslauten to legendary status in this GC but the Bundesliga had always avoided us despite some near misses and numerous runner up positions. However that has all changed despite a mid season collapse when we lost a ten point lead and could not buy a victory, we regrouped and the last six to eight games showed immense bottle and class to come through and win the title. The 1-0 win at main challengers Bayern courtesy of an 88th minute winner a few games out was the real key to this title triumph and rediscovered the belief. Went into the last game knowing a win would seal and despite a few nervous moments when our opponent equalised we stepped it up in the second half to ease home and secure the triumph. This sealed another fine season as only a day earlier we had won the German Cup as well to seal a domestic double.
