    Iver Fossum is a 17 year old, 77 rated midfielder coming through the ranks of the defending Norwegian champions Stromgodset IF, much like 15 year old Martin Odegaard(which I have also done a report on, for that go to the link at the bottom). Fossum made his debut for Godset on April 28th, 2013, in a 2-1 win over title rivals Molde. Fossum went on to come on as a sub four other times that year, scoring his first professional goal in the lone cup game he appeared in. Much hype surrounded Fossum coming into the new season, and he has now become a regular in the starting eleven for Godset, appearing in ten of Godset's fourteen league games thus far, including starting the last three. Fossum scored his first league goal on May 4th of this year in a 2-0 win over Bodo in which he also played the full 90 minutes. His standout performance(along with Odegaard's) was last month on June 9th where he scored Godset's opening and equalizing goal and then went on to assist Odegaard for the game winner in a 2-1 win against Haugesund. Fossum has also represented Norway from U15-U19 so far. He appeared 14 times for the U16's scoring 5 times, played 13 times for the U17's, scoring 3 times, and scored on his 2nd appearance for the U19's. Another exciting Norwegian product for Godset to develop! Odegaard link:http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=2948314#post2948314

    Re: ||In Vetulum|| - The Ultimate Gameworld Super Mario scores again In what was a very tight game, Schalke and goalscorer Balotelli ended up 1-0 away winners over previous league leaders Sporting. Pogba also deserves a big mention with what proved to be the decisive pass of the game to set up Super Mario for his excellent finish. What was also great to see was the back four and GK Ochoa keeping a clean sheet, but we have lost LB Siqueira to injury. With this result Schalke are now only 3 points off the top spot, which when manager Sean(Wolfy) took over it looked to be mission impossible but now the fans are starting to believe again. Now with 3 wins in a row it also looks like owner Mr. Baldo pulled off a master stroke in replacing his coach, and now sees his team fighting for the league instead of languishing at the bottom of the pile. Albeit it is early days yet and a lot of points to be won and lost, so anything can still happen and we still have to be vigilant if we want to keep winning.

    Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Another draw for us this time we were a bit lucky though, 1-1 with top of the table Chesterfield, need to turn some of these recent draws to wins. Good game mate. Four draws and a win in last five games is a bit frustrating, we have changed tactics but still the stalemate returns.

    Re: Official Red Devils Thread Firstly, Dì Maria is currently on about 65-70k/w, so I'd imagine any club wanting to sign him won't give him much more than 130-140k/w. I can't really imagine him asking for more than that to be honest. Some reports suggest United to have offered a 150k/w deal, which PSG is happy to match. However, no terms have been agreed, nothing at all. Daily Star, Metro, etc. are just doing their usual job of alienating their readers by wording a Marca article differently. Marca just says that there are four teams interested, and is even laying the focal point more on PSG. @Tony, who I'm sure is going to have a say on this. I'm hereby not implying that it's not a possibility, but nothing has been decided yet. In fact, this is just old news being revamped by the same poor publishers.

    Re: WORLD ICON - The ICON Games Finals The Netherlands are the World Champions! As they should be Perhaps the best thing to see is that its really been a tough league with lots of great managers, considering the first four teams finished within 2 points of eachother. Great to have been a part of this GW, though it might not have been the most conventional nor active one its been a lot of fun and its good to see enough managers stuck with it till the end to make the final competition a strong one! And last but not least, many thanks to Gorbash for coming up with this idea and making it happen Cheers lads! Hope to see you all around in other GW's if we're not in one together already

    Re: Official Red Devils Thread Di Maria has won plenty at Madrid more recently UCL, Give him 200-300k and he'll be yours, Not saying he wants a big pay day or anything just a New challenge etc and Real might want to use some of the money for James Rodriguez. I do think its possible for Utd to get Di Maria but not Vidal as of yet but you never know! Morata €18-22M Juve & Di Maria €40M? Then Rodriguez to Madrid for €60+ < This is just me beating about the bush, Kroos seems likely to move to Madrid more than Rodriguez, Khedira could be off too and Di Maria could well stay.

    Re: Official Liverpool Thread Mignolet Johnson – Lovren – Sakho – Moreno Gerrard Henderson – Lallana Markovic – Sturridge – Sterling Flanagan, Enrique, Wisdom?, Ilori?, Skrtel, Can, Allen, Suso?, Coutinho, Lambert, Ibe? (Origi loaned out). That's basically the squad we could realistically have after the sales & purchases we're likely to make. That's with an approximate net spend of 0 pounds, maybe even a profit. Add one or two attacking players (Griezmann, Shaqiri, Firmino, Rodrigo Moreno, Lacazette, Volland, Aubameyang, El Shaarawy etc etc, plenty of fish in the sea) to the squad and I like the way it looks. Some people seem to have short memories because I seem to remember our style of attacking football being one of the main talking points in England during almost the whole season, but now that one player goes we don't have a chance of finishing in the top 4? One of the main things that made our attack so dangerous and efficient was pace. And if anything, we'll have even more of it next season by the looks of it. Sure it doesn't mean that we won't suffer from the loss of Suarez but it means that we'll still be able to play our style. mb2SdHwrd1E And if none of this is reassuring you, then consider this: Sterling, Sturridge, Coutinho, Henderson, Mignolet & Sakho are all going to be even better next season.

    Fantastic New Prize worlds

    Re: Fantastic New Prize worlds I have a spare world that SM have given me back and I have been thinking of an idea for a new world. This is my most ambitious world yet with a long term goal. Once that goal is achieved the world will close. So I am looking for committed managers who will stay the course and see the idea through to the end. Here I will try and explain now what I am going to create. I am going to create a 5 division world of 20 teams in each division. There will be 4 promotion places to each division. The task is to gain promotion 5 times from Division 5, 4 times from Division 4, 3 times from Division 3, 2 times from Division 2 and then win Division 1. The first manager to achieve this feat will be the ultimate winner. What this means is the first time you get promoted from Div 5, you must leave that team and take another team that will compete in Div 5 for the following season. You will do this everytime you are promoted until the 5th time when you will be allowed to be promoted into Div 4. So again the first time you are promoted from Div 4, you must give up that team and take another team that will compete in Div 4 for next season. On the 4th time you do this you are then allowed to go into Div 3. I think you get the idea now. To help this along I intend to give 500 credits everytime you gain promotion from any division. I also will set aside 2,000 credits every season until someone wins Div 1 title. When that happens that managers will receive all of the credits that have been put aside. I intend to create this world as soon as I can.

    ||In Vetulum|| - The Ultimate Gameworld

    Re: ||In Vetulum|| - The Ultimate Gameworld "Performance didn't shock me." Following a 4-1 home win against the former leaders and unbeaten Valencia, Schalke Owner Baldo has shocked a few himself by admitting it wasn't a shocking result. "We obviously had a great game, scoring 4 against a team that had only conceded 4 in the previous 6, but this performance was coming. When you have a great squad and manager, you're just waiting for it to click. We're definitely still gelling though. Injuries, suspensions, new signings and formations has prevented us fielding a regular XI but I'm happy with how we're progressing. Our Schalke II did suffer their first defeat of the season tonight but are still top and on course to hopefully be playing in Div 1 next season. We'll be without Bale against the new leaders Sporting on Thursday but we'll be well prepared. It could prove to be a season defining game."
