  3. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ New Arrivals In At The Hammers First to arrive is young Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro from Juventus. After 16 appearances for in Serie A Genoa last season he was recently signed for €5.5m by Juventus, underlying the clear potential he has. He will spend this season back at Genoa on loan where I hope he gets a very good amount of minutes, big things expected of this fella. Next to come in is Claudio Bravo from Barcelona. He arrived for £4.2m and is already worth £6.8m so that's a bonus already. Now I would have loved Keylor Navas but I am still chu

  4. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Exactly. I'm generally happy to pay a premium for Prem players too as realistically it's the only footsie i really get a chance to watch - and I always love watching players play that I have in GWs (I'm like Lawnmower Man, blending reality into AI an all that. Or Tron. But definitely not like The Last Starfighter.) Jeez, someone learns how to white out and it's like the first visit for a fat kid to the bakers - no stopping him. Besides, Willy jokes are a sensitive subject for me, as I only have 5" And some women don't like it that wide.

  5. Re: Getting rid of the 'unavailable' transfer status How to make the transfer market more active? 1. Squad size limits will release players back onto the market and force managers to discriminate, when they are buying and selling. A few clubs hogging the players destroys a free market; inherently, this is monopolisation. 2. Remove the "unavailable" status. Not only is it silly, it might just encourage more sales, no matter how few. 3. Random transfer requests. Doesn't have to be a lot. Say, any player who is unhappy between 3-5 has a certain percentage chance of demanding a move. 4. Any p

  6. Re: Getting rid of the 'unavailable' transfer status Well the reason i do put players unavailable is to stop silly bids but im a manager that will sell every player for the right price. I think you need to look at how to stop people hoarding youngsters in the hope of landing the next Messi, Id like to see something along these lines implemented: 1, Sm need to build something in where the player rejects a move due to 'too much competition' in the squad. 2, Players wont sign contracts and leave for free if they are not given game time and it should happen much quicker than happens currently

  11. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Oooo toughy. At the moment Matic, looks to be Chelsea's no.1 DM. McCarthy I like, solid player, Martinez favourite - a little underrated. I'd want Depay to get a big move sooner rather than later.

  12. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Interesting stuff lads on the Countinho / Lallana debate. However, a few days ago on Brazilian radio Countinho had this exchange:- The radio presenter says “Speaking of improvement, I see you’re not that mild-mannered boy on the pitch anymore?” to which Coutinho replies "I owe thanks to Brendaõ (Brendan Rodgers) for that. After Wigan away, where I didn’t stop fighting – Brendan called me to office and told me he’s sure I can be a ‘volanté’ or a no. 8.” The presenter then questions this development, saying it isn’t Coutinho’s natural game. 19. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Charlton Athletic: Season Preview The same objective as last season, perhaps we should have it engraved on our crest as the new club motto? Nonetheless, it is fair and certainly going to be a challenge as the team is the second least valuable in the division. First game of the Season: Manchester United (Home) -- we get the ball rolling under tough circumstances as we host the most prestigious name in English football and EC7046's longest serving manager. Players to watch this season: Alvaro Negredo won player of the season in the last camp

  20. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Daniel Sturridge ain't bad is he?!?! Never gets the credit he deserves since he joined his scoring rate in the last two seasons is absolutely prolific and take out Suarez as good as anybody in that time. Thanks again mate Sturridge needs that confidence and a certain level of arrogance is required it helps to make him the player he is. See him on interviews etc away from the pitch and he is an absolutely great guy fun to be around, and does a lot of stuff for charity etc away from the cameras that don't get mentioned. The "rap off" he had with Jordan

  31. Re: Getting rid of the 'unavailable' transfer status The basic problem is you want to sign a player which the other manager doesn't want to sell. they've set that status for a reason. You can't change someone's mind just by submitting the bid. If you believe they are hoarding players then there's the concern feature to help. Otherwise just loan in them. Removing 'Unavailable ' transfer status will NOT make transfers happen.

  32. Re: Getting rid of the 'unavailable' transfer status This would ruin the game' date=' I would probably quit if this was implemented and I could imagine many more leaving. Take a RL Real Madrid squad for instance:91-92 - star player - 4 per squad max Real Madrid have 7 93-94 - superstar - 3 per squad max Real Madrid have 7 95+ - megastar - 2 per squad max Real Madrid have 3 I find your suggestion is not only unrealistic but it takes a large part of enjoyability out of the game too. 34. Re: Official Liverpool Thread I know it is a friendly but Dortmund are a top side and we have absolutely ripped them to shreads. The front three have been sensational, Coutinho has been absolute magic already a contender for three of the best passes I think you will see this season. Always said Lovren will be great for us, just a leader and an organiser since Carra left we have missed that immensely. Majestic really have been. I was happy enough (I got married yesterday ) but seeing this kinda display is so encouraging lets hope a sign of things to come.
