EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ LAST GAME OF THE SEASON and in Div 3, Blackpool and Derby are already promoted but Blackpool have a 2 point lead and look favourites to take the title. Play offs look sorted with Birmingham the favourites over Aachen, Deportivo and Burnley. the big 3 teams have taken the top 3 places and well done to them for getting the most out of their squad. At the other end it is Gateshead, Whitehawk and Telford fighting for last place. in Div 2, the promotion places are already sorted with both Leicester and west ham doing their best to secure 2nd spot, Leicester were running away with it until last month and now west ham have lost their last 4. Rangers and palace are in the play offs and it is between West Brom, Everton and Fulham for the other 2 places, Viking in 8th cant make it but will feel pleased that their lower rated squad have kept away from relegation with ease. Relegation has already come for last seasons div 3 winners, Millwall. Le Havre and Norwich occupy the other 2 places but can escape at the expense of Celtic. As for Div 1, it is very exciting, i dont know if any of us will sleep tonight for not knowing whether Newcastle will keep hold of top spot or whether Edward will lead his clueless lot to the title. 2 points seperate them but Villa have the better goal difference but should Villa's players listen to their managers tactics, Chelsea could overtake them if they win at Arsenal. Relegation from the big time has already come for the Mackems, Stoke look likely to follow but they do have their easiest fixture of the season, home to Villa. After Stoke it is one of four that will find themselves hated by their fans, Lazio, Roma, Wolves and Hull will be the nervous teams involved with Hull playing Roma. Good luck to all and remember we all have something to play for as all points contribute to the managers table.

Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Thanks for having me, guys. I haven't been fully committed to SM, and in particular this game world due to reasons not related to SM or any other managers. I'm no longer a very active forum or in-game member, and although I'm not quitting any other forum GW's, this GW is one that requires people who can, at the very least, log in every day. With this being a GW that requires constant attention, I thought it was best to let someone else take over at Barca and, let's be honest, get them back to where they should be with a squad like this! With that in mind, thank you all very much for making this a pleasant experience and for being patient with the messages that I never got back to. I apologise for that, as well as leaving in such short notice. I also apologise for getting relegated to the person that takes over at Barca. This is by far one of the best GW's I've been involved in. I'll see you around, either on the forum or in another GW, albeit it'll likely be brief. Anyway, best of luck to everyone involved

    10k RISER

Hi, There used to be a really good thread for 10k risers, but no one has posted to it since the SM changed the p/e values and transfers became pointless. I would love to join a game world where managers could only buy 10k valued players, this would really separate the good managers from the bad over the long term both in tactics and in player scouting. Anyone else interested? In the meantime, here are some 10k risers: Giorgos Masouras Marvin DIOP Mehmet Umut NAYIR Lee EVANS

EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏

Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Potters' fans experiencing bi-polar emotions as the season draws to a close. Tomorrow will likely see us relegated barring a miracle of biblical proportions. Can (Ed) Moses part the red (& white) sea or will Britannia rule again? Survival would require; - Stoke to win at home against title-chasing Villa - Lazio to lose at home to already relegated Sunderland - Roma to lose away at Hull Some accumulator that is... Tuesday night could ease the pain, however. A Europa League Final showdown against AVB's Zenit has the City faithful buzzing ahead of their trip to Wembley. Survival, Relegation, European Silverware, unbridled joy or utter despair ? - it's a massive 7 days for Stoke City FC in ADII. Bring it...

Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? Hi Jamie, Numerous managers have attempted to report deliberate sabotage via the SMFA messaging system but largely to no avail. However, action has been taken against one particular serial offender following our requests for SM to investigate via this thread. As you can see on the thread we never get a direct reply as such but it's more than coincidence that the perpetrator is usually kicked off the GW in question fairly quickly. Selling your best players isn't a crime per se but it largely depends upon what the manager then does with the proceeds. In our case it was quite blatant - he would buy players approaching retirement (35+) for way over the odds or 60 rated 'nobodys', again, for ridiculously inflated fees. The pattern of behaviour was blindingly obvious. It might be worth you adding to your post specific details of the transfer activity, in and out, to strengthen your case. Good luck... ruts PS. Love your avatar - Stoke legends past and present...

    European Dream

Re: European Dream Well we drew our first game 0-0 in a tight affair against AS Monaco, fair result all in all so nothing to say there really other than the fact Fischer completed the first 60 minutes of the season. On the transfer front we agreed our 3rd deal tonight so will have completed the 3 transfers come the morning. The first one saw Sanchez travel to Barcelona with Mata & Rodriguez coming to Dortmund. That was followed up by the signing of Martinez from FC Porto which saw Lovren & Reinartz sign for the Portuguese club. Tonight we agreed the last deal which will see long term target Strootman sign for Dortmund but we are sad to see Gundogan sign for AC Milan. We still have Monreal, Adriano & Inler available for transfer whilst would also like to do something about a new striker with Torres being available in a 2 for 1 deal with any of the 3 mentioned above.

    Fluff's Mixed Nations

Re: Fluff's Mixed Nations Boo, I was looking forward to signing that kid. Are you sure you can handle the responsibility, Allan? Like providing for the lad, teaching him important stuff, reading him bedtime stories... You know the boy is Peruvian, don't you? That means you're gonna have to tell him bedtime stories in Spanish - will you be able to do that?

Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Dortmund are in Div.1 After one very close game against Chelsea,Dortmund will be for a first time between the biggest top teams in Div.1.The game started prety well for us as we take the lead only after 11 minutes when Pedro score brilliant volley in the bottom corner.Dortmund keep to be the more dangerous team in the field and after some misses from Mkhitaryan comes the 35th minute where a long shot from Kagawa make our lead more comfortable. The second half start very bad for Chelsea when Vidal was sent off with direct red card in the 50th minute.Even the red card Chelsea wasn't have what to loose and put everyone at forward and that give them a late goal from Wilshere but this goal wasn't enough for them. Now we are looking to div.1 battles, but first we are waiting to see who will be the lucky to comes our team:

The Brazilian defender was voted as the best player on the pitch Sunday night. Eriksen ended the match with a foot injury and will be out for 4 days. Manuel Neuer © was impressive in this match, saving 11 shots.
