  2. There are no censors... just a very strange spam filter which no one has any power over! We've tried tweaking it, but every day I have to approve perfectly good posts... and delete actual spam.

I was there at the beginning, (3 different accounts ago) and it has been a joy to see this topic flourish and grow over the years due to your hard work and resilience. You are truly are a great asset to Soccer Manager. I thank you for your commitment to exemplary work and hope you’ll continue in the same spirit of enthusiasm and helpfulness in years to come. 5. Tough to say, I'd keep Havertz and Fernandes. Ziyech may have peaked already and time will tell how he does at Chelsea. I'd keep Odegaard over Mount personally. Maybe sell Almada. Haha Moffi the biggest one I can remember. Have been a few others but can't remember. wow! I'd sell Brooks, Ferro, Kean, Reine Adelaide Joaquin has the slight edge imo I'd sell the 5 you've said and Milik. Others have explained.

  6. 10k risers were one of the best things on SM for example Oxlade-Chamberlain.

  7. Looking back 14 years ... Favorite thing by far are posts and threads that showcase new talent, the 75`s that grow season by season into 95`s. Worst thing is the frequency by which very weak unmanaged opponent`s keepers win Man of the Match and lose me the game! Too many transfers to recall ... It`s been great fun, gentlemen!

  8. Favourite thing about the game- It's a bit realistic, it's linked to the real football. Favourite thing about the forum- Hearing other opinions and know you guys from different countries and to know more inside info about Portugal football (tmcosta), Italian football (zsp2) and so on. Best transfers: Erling Haaland, buying for € 256K. Mathijs De Ligt, buying for € 192K. Alphonso Davies, buying for € 800K. Frenkie De Jong, buying for € 488K. Kai Havertz, buying for € 288K. I don't know what's the best one, I did pretty good transfers actually in my SM career. Worst transfers

  10. I would sell Josh Maja, Harry Wilson, Diangana, Perez, Clark and Omur After they’ve risen I would also look into selling Todibo and Ruben Vargas.

  13. I think English players should be encouraged to go abroad, too many are happy to stay in the EPL on 100’s of thousands a week not getting enough first team experience. Sancho is probably the best example of someone wanting to better themselves by moving and being successful. Angel Gomes would be someone who could benefit from moving to a Germany or somewhere like that now that he’s been released by United. Yeah I would still go for Fabinho over the duo.

  14. You should consider making your defence younger. Pique and Hummels ain't going to keep their ratings for long. Gomez / Soyuncu / Akanji. Gomez is starting CB only because Matip was injured. But of course, because Liverpool won the league by big margin so they are the greatest and every player should get a rating raise according to the logic these days. #justsaying Havertz >> Fermandez >>> Ziyech >>>>> Odegaard >>> Mount Sell Nubel, Walker, Sandro, Hummels, Sarabia, Alvarez, Aubemeyang. Fernandes >>> Gor

  18. Selling sandro walker and sarabia will give you an extra 300k a week wage budget straight away so you could start with those three and see how the finances are doing after that? My only thought about selling De Vrij over Hummels was that De Vrij is always predicted to get a +1 but he never seems to actually get it But he is younger and Hummels will get a -1 eventually. Again it all depends on if you rate having a 93 rated CB right now in your team who will probably become a 92, or having a 91 rated CB who may become a 92.

  20. I'd sell Nubel (buy some cheap gk like Vandervoordt), Walker (you already have Emerson), Sandro (Davies will take over Robertson in a few years), Hummels (sell him before his values got down so buy youngsters like Tapsoba,Todibo), Milik, Aubameyang and Sarabia (Boadu or Isak-likes) Just wonder if you have some players in your youth squad?

  21. nice squad you've got going for you! However, it depends, do you just want to get rid of people or are you trying to raise funds for new players, or reduce wage bill? I'd sell Sarabia, Walker, Sandro like you said as you've got good players in those positions already. I'd also get rid of Milik (your attack is stacked) and De Vrij (Hummels is +2 ratings so depends how competitive your GW is really). Furthermore, I'd get rid of Nubel and buy a cheap 70 rated GK so you have two GK's in your team if you want money although Nubel is due to take over from Neuer in a couple of years i

  22. I think Joaquin Correa at Lazio has the best chance at a +1. Yeah I agree but I wouldn’t sell Nubel, he’s a future first team goalkeeper at Bayern.

  23. Havertz, Fernandes, Mount/Odegaard, Ziyech then Almada I would sell Odegaard and Almada but it’s tough because some are at different stages in there career like Ziyech and Almada. There was so many it was great, now if a player has potential he’s usually overpriced. Which is realistic but is still kind of annoying when you think back to how it was. I would sell Brooks, Ferro, Adelaide and Moise Kean. I would think about selling Dan James and Junior Firpo after there increases when they next get reviewed also.

  25. Best transfer: Mbappe when someone had renamed an old/retired player. When the transfer was reversed I was dreading that I'd end up missing out on the actual Mbappe but thankfully my league honoured the initial transfer and let me have a free run. Nowadays, it is pretty much impossible to have a free run at any player as at least three or four teams end up bidding on new players in my league. In terms of player swaps with managed clubs there are a few. Getting Antoine Griezmann in 2014 for £12M and Lars Bender Getting Raheem Sterling in 2015 for Alexandre Lacazette and Andre G

  26. Transfermarkt, but sometimes moves like Hornby's get shared on my Twitter timeline Indeed. Maybe Stones should look to Smalling's case and move overseas... I really appreciate it - thanks mate Nice doing some nice business (pun partially intended) Rice will stay for quite some time, he is no 91 mid to me, not at the minute. Also needs a step-up. Maybe sell Martinez and Porro

  27. Thanks guys, funny thing is I was going to say I was stuck between the two of them but didn't want to mislead anyone. I think I will go let go of Gundogan just because Fabinho will take his spot in the 11 and he'll develop concerns. But I agree Stones hasn't fulfilled his potential. Can see him going back to Everton or a Burnley in the future.

  28. Couple of transfer news. Fraser Hornby moved to Reims, one to keep an eye out for. Pape Gueye's move to Watford is off, it's now Marseille. Think it's a better move for him.

  29. 84/85 depending on Mallorca's relegation I'd say Duo of Rodri and Neves perhaps? I love Bruno and he should hit 92 next season 84 Chambers won't rise, I should probably change that Tierney has a chance for sure Should stay No, but he is good Gomez almost definitely, Akanji should, Lindelof might, other two should stay I'd move on from Gundogan or Stones Maybe 90 Contracts

  36. Results for July 1st reductions (Please read above paragraphs for explanations etc):- Thanks to a forumer who made a prediction which I think I remember was over 40million loss (sorry haven't found your post looking back for it).Bit wide of the mark and there actually wasn't a competition anyway but thanks anyway. Havertz of course was 21yo and the reductions don't kick in til over 21yo. Still suffering from fatigue so I haven't as yet made a lot of progress with my Spreadsheet Germany predictions (Only 1 club done so far) but will hopefully get more done B4 SM start the German
