  1. JC's Detailed Guide To Success in Soccermanager *NEW: Just wanted to say not managed a team for a long time on SM now so I suspect several parts that I have mentioned below are now less relevant, out of date or even completely wrong, for example I believe unmanaged teams can now use any of 20+ formations so using 3-5-2 to beat the previously default 4-4-2 isn't going to work as well . . . Introduction This is my first post in the help section, so please bear with it, and feel free to give advice. I hope it is appreciated. It is very long, so feel free to skip sections, I have tried

I know this is 3 and a half years old but I never intended for this to monopolise the forum back then (I would have thought of a better name otherwise!) Glad to have this as a space for all managers to come. Although I didn't know it at the time, the forum had regressed too much to have multiple threads, individual league threads. At a certain point the quality got spread out, coupled with the forum interface update a lot of the big guys left. I think this has helped keep the forum alive, and I'm

If you have any thanks to offer, thank Teb. He's the one responsible. If it weren't for his Spartak having all the talent in GC1, I never would've had to make this list This is a random list. Some for the future, some for now... I have searched hard and put a lot of research into scouting quite a few leagues, and I will update the stats every 5 games if possible, with players to watch and current lineups. Starting off with Brazil, who just played the 15 th game of the season. Here goes. I will also say that the updates might not always be right after the games are played. I have a full time job and will go to university, so a lot of my free time goes to this. I do it because I love it, not cause I have tons of time on my hands. 10. I have decided to change the purpose and format of this thread. After discussions with a few forumers, I have concluded that continuing the great work Seftinho left behind would be more advantageous than a thread on a single league. I will have found, researched and predicted these players myself, so those with a problem about "credit" are just going to have to get over themselves. Expect to see regular updates for the next few days... The biggest risers/money makers will be in bold. 12. SECTION 1: Player Wages Player wages is a large part of the game and it affects everyone’s financial budgets. The following list basically shows you the average range of wages for each rating. In the making of this list, I’ve tested factors such as Morale, SM/Chairman’s Value, Age, Contract Length and Rating. My research has shown me that the Morale, AGE and Chairman’s Value plays absolutely NO role in wage adjustments. Also, the option of choosing the duration of the contract is meaningless in terms of player wages. In fact, the only variable is the PLAYER RATING itself. Here is som

  13. Welcome to Rahul's rating predictions. This thread has gone from predictions of the big five leagues, to other prominent European leagues, to leagues all over the world. It's gone way become ratings too, inadvertently becoming the go-to thread on this forum. I'm quite happy with how things have ended up. Links below go to the relevant league. I don't do predictions for every single league, but I have made rating lists for the minor leagues. I have now categorised leagues by continent, mentioning whether predictions are done/when the review was done. I hope this makes things better.

So here are England, Spain, and Italy (In a few hours), and all risers are +3 and above. There a a couple of borderline +2/+3's that I have given the benefit of the doubt to, like Adrian Colunga, but I hope your not going to complain at 84>86 anyway (: I may add an extra couple of countries, if there are any others worth doing? Lamine Gueye is a projection, he’s only played twice for Metz but has recently joined, I see him being a regular for Metz in the future that’s why I predicted a +2. This also applies to some other players on the list. I will be adding to this list in the future too. Random selection of 100 risers in their leagues review Lamine Gueye - 78 -> 80 (
