Quite random, but every now and then I'm amazed by how this thread became the main predictions thread (main overall thread on this forum). I started it casually, and now we have 854 pages, 21k replies and 987k views. It's quite nice

Hi all, As you have seen, I have not really been active over the past few months other than updating my preds. It's just been me phasing out of the forum. Now that the reviews are done, I can say it's been a great fun. Didn't think we'd reach to Page 751 (and this thread would last for three years) back in 2016, when the forum is dying. It's still alive, somehow. I'm joining uni in the fall so I plan to move away from SM. The game itself isn't that enjoyable anymore: old UI doesn't work properly, player search bar is broken etc. Predictions are fun but that too is taking more time than usual thanks to the broken search bar. The few things I enjoyed in the game aren't working well. I'm leaving one GW this week, and my other GW in September. I'll probably be back later on, but for now it's goodbye. Thanks for the fun. Hope someone can take over the mantle. I hardly use the forum nowadays anyway, and there are others who can do a good job at predictions. If anyone's interested in my general football opinions, do follow me on Twitter: @rahulw_ Cheers all, it's been fun. Rahul 🤗

Best Of England List:- The above list includes West Ham below to complete the English Review. SM should be over their holiday's now and probably complete Spain by start of next week and onto England by next Monday (hopefully). In the meantime I'll have a look at Spain and see If any Spanish Clubs need updating and then where SM are at next Monday. Maybe the BIG5 is soon to be finished and I can enter into my spreadsheet analysis phase after a bit of a rest. Cheers Socca...

SWIKI: has moved on (I hoped for better) BUT to The English Division 1:- Bolton and Southend in the relegation zone at the moment... (sigh!) Latest Upload (Portugal) Below:- Remember this is my first spreadsheet predictions for Portugal so the accuracy is unlikely to be as good as BIG5 predictions. I have to find SM's 0%Line and adjust for the next review. Hopefully my estimation, won't be critically out this first time. Previous tables on pages 777, 779, 780, 781, 782, 783, 784.785,786,787, 788, 789, 790, 791,792,793, 794,795,796,797,798,799,800,801,803,804,805.806,807,808,810,811,812,813,814.816,817,818,819,821,822,823,824,825,826,827,828,829,830,831.832,833,834,835.836,837,839,841,842,844,845,855, 866 Be careful of the Reddish boxes where the higher rated players are more inclined towards performances rather than stats. Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be. I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's Hopefully SM will get around to this b4 too long now. Portugal was last reviewed I think in February 2019 and before that March 2018 which is 11months. On that basis it could be said, should have been reviewed b4 now. Let's hope they don't keep us waiting much longer. I did look at Famalicao but probably there best prospects P Goncalves and G Assuncao both got pitiful +1 rises very recently, one of them on the 9th, just 2days ago. Could be a waste of time, so we will see if that's all they give. Hard to predict SM on that basis, hope they are not as pitiful, with the above TOP Clubs. Thanks to all and appreciate the interest, Cheers Socca

I know this is not my thread as such, however with the absence of mods (and the presence of my name on this thread), I feel like it is my unofficial role to do so. As such I would prefer the Kobe discussions to stop. If it's not gonna be civil then let's not discuss it in the first place. To those offended by certain people/comments, just ignore it. While this is a predictions thread, it's one of the few active pages on this forum, and it's nice to have discussions out of predictions too. Let's just be respectful and sensitive. Cheers guys

Simply put hooch, I think SM got Carles Perez wrong. Ansu Fati played in 19% of available minutes and CP 27% of available minutes. TBH Ski the spreadsheet hasn't predicted a rise now I look back and I think u must have missed it too. I guess I was over excited because I've had him in all my GW's. for a long time and i did actually make a great profit for my clubs. But now I look back at the spreadsheet it predicted zero in the "Plus" column and +1 in the actual "Rise" column and zero in the Million "profit" column, for obvious reasons. Have a look back at it, sorry for saying it had in a previous post. I don't think a rise for him was right but I'm not complaining. He's coming. in the morning to fix it I hope. I'm supposed to be visiting one of my son's in the afternoon as well, so I hope he's not delayed. Probably won't get much time for the forum tomorrow unless it's early on or he's late. Anyway I'm finished with the Premiership as Liverpool would be almost all "Red Boxes" and much like the predictions for ManU, which I felt uneasy about. Will see what I can do for Holland maybe over the weekend or take in their weekend results on Monday. Thanks to all, I'd hope I'd have got finished for b4 6pm for u all, my apologies it's past 8 now Cheers Socca 😀

Hi all. Back in a GW now, so I should do more preds slowly. Unlikely I will do any more Spanish clubs for this review, but will do my best to at least do all big 5 league teams for the summer review. Regarding smaller leagues - it will be pick and choose based on my time (and how easy it is to do, most probably ruling out Brazil/Argentina/maybe MLS due to no of teams). Cheers and wishing all a Merry Christmas.

Enjoyed looking at Cologne and Union Berlin and adding them for first time. Fascinating where to put the zero% line taking into consideration 1 new club is presently 10th and other is 17th. Used Paderborn 19th as a guide and will be interesting to see how accurate to SM's judgement I am. Also enjoyed finding U Berlin has so many risers or new underrated players depending on how u look at it. Another busy day tomorrow but should be ok to do more German clubs, probably Mid table. Thanks again for your interest and great support, I really appreciate it. Ps As per usual SWiki was slow with only a few, but it's usually that way at weekends. Right! Now to settle in and watch Arsenal v Man C match I've recorded!

😲Now why didn't that work first time?... 😀 Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate. Remember here we are only 9 games into Bundasliga so far. I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I also ignore Gk's Broke my own rule with a few here going to 89/90 etc. Take these % with a bit of salt because SM are very inconsistent with these and wait longer to give them rises etc etc. Repeat again that it so early now that higher rated players miss a game or 2 and it makes a big difference. Being patient and seeing there percentages at End of November would be preferable. Lower rated players U can usually trust there % better. You'll see as we go on and I update during November. Cheers and thanks for your interest and support Socca 😀

Here are some knee jerk predictions. de Gea -1 to 94 Martial +1 to 91 Shaw +1 to 90 Lingard -1 to 90 Matic -1 to 90 Sanchez -1 to 90 (but he will leave) Wan-Bissaka +2 to 89 Smalling -1 to 89 McTominay +2 to 87 Pereira +1 to 87 James +2 to 85 Greenwood +4 to 77 How Lingard ever got more than 90 remains a joke.

I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's Wow I didn't realize how long this took to do from start ie create the structure, calibrate the formula's for the club then the players. Finally finished the structure 2hours ago and it only left enough time to populate and input 2 clubs but should be quicker tomorrow,. Note Stengs and Myron Boadu got rises just a month or so ago so SM might ignore them both. I also have to point out that as Netherlands & all the above are completely new I don't actually know where the all-important 0%percentage line is. That isa crucial part of the calibration and I have hopefully got it as close as i can without having 9years of data and reviews to go by. I have tried to make it that the 0%line is "well in hand" so that it will fall on the lower safer side, but we will have to see. It's exciting starting something new but takes a lot longer. More tomorrow, thanks again everybody... Cheers Socca Ps I hope all this arguing will subside very soon and we can get back to everybody being friendly to each other again .... Please 🤐

I think the spreadsheet is close to saying 89 BUT Abraham's rise is complicated by the recent +1 he was given in November and on the other side of balancing the coin his caps for England. There is no doubt it's just a question of time. He is definitely a future 90+ but how quick and how far he goes is in the lap of the future events. Great admirer of Reece James at the moment. Pulisic's injury puts doubt into his rise BUT I think his high profile will convince SM to give him his rise anyway. Thank you Cvilhete for your close insight into Chelsea's bright future with so many young talents on show. Such a change in fortunes for Chelsea since Frank took over. What a great decision to make him Manager (Credit to Abramovich??) Understand his minutes are not great what with Injury and Bournemouth declining rapidly down to relegation threatened. BUT I think his hype with SM or style of play & future potential may well save him. I hope to do Bournemouths stats in the spreadsheet this afternoon and can't wait to see how close he we'll be to the 0% line. Nevertheless I think/ hope? he'll rise. Holgate - Like Him and consistent now. Again maybe spreadsheet today will give me a clue. Harry I have to admit I'm not good at these 2 for 1 swaps , but I'll say it's too high a price to pay for JF Outside chance, I'll plump for 89 although Cvilhete knows Chelsea well! Nothing much on "Soggy Wicket - Rain Stops play again", but still plenty of Brazilians. Todays review results:- Wow! I think these Spanish results by SM are consistently very close to the spreadsheet predictions so far. Long may it continue.... Could SM be just copying my spreadsheet as it's easier for them (Don't mean it SM! ...BUT Where do I send the Invoice??) ....😀😁😂🤣

Ok a few updates. Unfortunately most of the Real top clubs don't have many that fit the criteria ratings or age wise, but Bayern, Tottenham. Atletico have a few between them. Think, Winks should get his in view of his International caps and playing more regular for Spurs recently, so haven't red that box, Mascarell might also. More tomorrow hopefully, interesting also to see which french risers SM like in the morning. I'll have to take time off soon to get christmas cards, gifts, family etc sorted... On SWiki going thru today, Montpellier, St Etienne, Angers, Marseille, Rennes, Lille, Lyon Example result(s) and a bit of analysis:- Here you can see some of the predictions all are higher except Diakite who got injured and I think I showed lower on a different upload. Being my first predictions I tried to make a very complex formula so that it did err on the safer side. I can at the next review adjust where to put the 0% line, hopefully to make them a bit more accurate. KAA was a disapointment at+7.9% tho the 3.7% got his. Wow!! way out with +5 for Chouiar 40.5% at a plus 9! But I really liked the 0.4% paying out and obviously the -17.8% NOT. So the 0% line looks accurate but could have been even further down than -0.9% ie a -10% might have paid out too. Might well leave the 0% there for Dijon where it is safer next time. I expect this under predicting probably to continue for most of the Big5 review but we'll have to wait and see. Should have seen the 81 for S Mavididi. SM don't do 81's very often, so I guess if u see the 81 please see that SM is likely to go 80 or 82! I won't have enough time to put many of these results up separately BUT will do the whole FranceBest List at the end and maybe a few interesting Single ones b4 then. Hope above is as interesting to a few of you guys as it is to me. More later... Ps I am doing a huge amount of inputs into my spreadsheet so it will be remarkable if I don't make a few input mistakes. Please point them out if u see any.

89 so far, as u see in upload below:- He is ONE FOR THE FUTURE, playing more than adequately now as well. Must Have! I don't know about a proper stab but I'm stabbing away relentlessly, I hope as I get more and more clubs into the speadsheet updating will be less time consuming than it is now. I'm going to concentrate on France as that will give a bit of extra time to do others while SM review France in Mid December. I doubt I will get them all done but I'll get a large number. I also expect Sir Rahul will come up with a bumper pre-christmas Bundle too! Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be. Remember ATM we are only about a dozen games into Big 5 Leagues. Disagree with this, Ramos earned his rating for being one of the most consistent cbs in the world for years and years. While Ramos should've lost his 95 this review VVD doesn't deserve a 96 rating when he's not been as good this season as he was last season. A good example of this is until Matip got injured he was Liverpools best cb early on. SM used to be really critical of cbs when it came to ratings, if they still are they wouldn't give vvd a higher rating than Ramos, Vidic, etc ever got

3 More reviewed German Clubs Below Each Club Sm Reviewed tells it's own story. How Boetius with 1,381 mins out of possible 1,440 mins didn't get a rise and Klunter is almost an identical miss. The 0% line at Dortmund may be way off while the other 2 were 'not too bad. But so few rises at so many clubs throughout this Big5 review does illustrate how Lazy SM have been, to my mind anyway. Ps I have a number of Premiership Clubs done but think it would be better to update them with todays Boxing Day minutes tomorrow for better accuracy. More examples of French Players risers so far etc. I WILL be doing a "best of France list" when French review is totally finished:- Obviously NOT 100% correct but i wasn't expecting that. Interesting as u can see Gnagnon dropped -1. I actually sold both him and Gelin because I thought from these stats neither would rise. It actually saved me 3million as u see, a benefit I hadn't even thought about! The Red boxes warning saved me from buying Traore or Bourigard, tho I did think Traore would rise. Disappointed Diallo didn't go up +4 or +5. I must think of a way to ammend the formula where it predicts 81's and 84's which SM so seldom use, in contrast to 80, 82, 83 and 85. Shouldn't be difficult, but I leave all these thoughts til after BIG5 Review is totally finished. Very disappointed CAMAVINGA got a really mean +3. Hoping to get another upload at some point today but I will be watching Chelsea while Recording Leeds and I think there's another big match at 5pm as well! So it may be late tho I have started it already. Otherwise tomorrow... Hope u find the above interesting... Also gonna see if SM have given me some more "Likes and Thanks" to spread yet!

Well I totally agree swansea I will be up in arms if he gets less than 84 😫 Another upload below:- Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be. Remember ATM we are only a dozen plus games into Big 5 Leagues. Previous predictions on pages 777, 779, 780, 781, 782, 783, 784.785,786,787, 788, 789, 790, 791, 792...793 (Three!) 794, 795, 796... Didn't realise until this morning England Premiership clubs are playing midweek and weekend matches this week. So slight change in plan I'll get the new England stats I need into my spreadsheet starting late sunday into monday and do it in one big go. Then hopefully France MIGHT be near finishing and England MIGHT be 2nd. From now until then I'll use each day making progress on the other the other Leagues in case it's NOT England. So More tomorrow B4 6pm if I'm not delayed, but am out at some point in the day so might be delayed again. Thanks again for all your support, sorry for the upload glitches around midday. Think I've got an answer for that one now ie "split it into 2 and it doesn't go crazy"...Also had some stats still in there for 2 players from last seasons games for relegated Guingamp, please ignore them, I've deleted them from my spreadsheet. Ps Forgot to mention SW showed players going thru today from. Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Rennes and Reims. Also on his own, Adama Traore who I've got as a +2. I wonder if it's SM doing that trick of anticipating good risers ahead of time, u could call them front-Runners 😊

S.Wiki this morning showed more from Metz, Nice, Monaco, Brest and Strasbourg but not that many players like u would say were all from these 5 clubs and finished. The total was also not massive but more than over the weekend. Think the Review has definitely started but not at full power yet. I have updated most of the clubs in France to show the weekend minutes and will do an updated "Best from France" list in order again as previous one, probably tomorrow if not then thursday. Usual thanks for interest and support, will definitely have more tomorrow all being well. Keep well all... Ps Re Harry Wilson posts recently, feels like a plus 2 to me too, possibly needs more minutes for the spreadsheet as think he scored 2 goals in only 12minutes of actual play, subbed on. We'll see if he's picked to start at this weekend coming or is he a true SUPER-SUB!! 😀

Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be. Great to see Sir Rahul's early Christmas present again. Thank You SIR! Unfortunately I have run out of "Likes" and "Thanks" and will have to wait 24hours b4 SM will give me more, but won't forget. Be careful as advised previously with the higher rated players rated in Red or Redish Boxes on the right. Think that's about all, but thank u so much for your magnificent interest & support which is greatly appreciated, keeps me going, Cheers 😀 Socca Ps BTW Amiens was going thru SW today but not that many and it looks to me that SW are going slow again, but then it is the weekend...

You can try and see if someone like Benoit Badiashile, Ander Barrenetxea, Karim Adeyemi, Emanuel Vignato, Mattia Zennaro, Lucien Agoume are available. If you would not care about age, I would try and see if Philipp Klement, he's 26 and 78 rated but has 16 goals and 9 assists in 2. Bundesliga. His team Paderborn will most likely rise to 1. Bundesliga and I can see him rising quite a lot and making you money that you can reinvest. Just a tip.

I haven't Hfazil as Liverpool are really outside the scope of my spreadsheet. As mentioned in the disclaimer paragraphs just about all Liverpool's players will be rated on Performance by SM and NOT ON Stats. I guess my spreadsheet would show "a picture" BUT they would all be "RED BOXES" (read the paragraphs). I do include some higher rated players where I have an idea what SM MIGHT DO and if I did do an analysis of Liverpool I'd GUESS NOW that most if not all would get at least a Plus 1. Yes for example I've done Chelsea's Mason Mount, Tomori and Tammy Abraham but they are rated much lower and the spreadsheet applies. Anyway Hfazil, IF you want me to do it for Liverpool let me know and if I have time I'll present the Stats analysis for you or any other supporter of my spreadsheet that might be interested enough, to want to see this analysis. Hi ombarca, You may already know Grujic got a +1 at Hertha this review so won't be getting a further increase this review? Future potential: Is he good enough to play for Liverpool? Well he COULD be a Squad player if he continues to improve. I think that is the time to buy him, when and If he plays for Liverpool & looks good enough. Close but Ruben Dias Definitely Firmino for the forseeable future. English review has started! As Watford, Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich went thru SWICKI this morning More results from Spain review:- Chimy Avila was a late edition today. Very pleased with SM's performance with Spain so far. If anything they are being a little OVER-generous! ATB Socca

Minutes will vary game by game and league position also helps a lot. Anything over 0% indicates likely riser, higher the better/safer. Negative percentages don't predict a drop just less chances of a rise. The more games played the more accurate the predictions should be. I am concentrating mainly on Younger under 89 rated players as these are more consistent risers and more profitable, Goal keepers are dealt with by SM in a completely different way, which is why I mostly also ignore Gk's Hopefully SM get on and complete the Spain revue in timely fashion to everyone's satisfaction. If so, won't need to update the premiership. We'll see soon. a lot of risers expected here, except Atletico maybe. Thanks to all for the great interest and support, not too long b4 it's all finished. Hope everyone has got their fair share of risers. Cheers Socca...

Only briefly seen him play and he didn't stand-out particularly (Champions League game) but YES his stats are great and he will go above 88 in future if he keeps this up. Think SM have been a bit mean with him and France so far. maybe nmore than a bit mean! Yes hope so. You can see the strength of feeling on the forum SIR. You can do it, come back whenever u can. You OWN this Thread Sir & we'll pay the rent in Likes and Thanks. Your audience awaits you ... Totally agree, a mediocre French review so far SM. They haven't reviewed 1 Reims player so far so think they will return to it. Didn't they have a postponed match recently. That might have something to do with it. I Think Elvedi deserves it BUT COMPUTER he say NO! I feel an Upload coming on... Yes SM could have been more generous with Osimhen, Where is Denayer? Where is Reims? Yazici should have got it for being a Turkish International & left at 87? Surely NOT!!?? Touch and go, but hope to get another upload today (So much football to watch starting soon) Might be late on this evening... Lecce, Empoli, Sassuolo, Genoa and Samdoria went thru SWicki this morning. Ode to Joshua: And when I hurt, hurt runs off my shoulder, How can I hurt when I'm hurting you? My hands reaching out, touching you... Punching you! ... Sweet Revenge bum, bum, bum, Oh OH OH! Good times never seemed this good! I feel inclined... to beat you well and good! As ... I knew I would. You did it to me now I've done it you!

Yes Nimes and Metz I saw earlier and and immediately switched to the "best of France", to maximise our chances of buying as much as we need. Hopefully it will upload below:- Very Early, I wonder if it's a false start? Anyway probably 5 days b4 even these 2 clubs will appear transiting from SW to SM. It's starting too early for me to be able to cover all of the Big5 completely unless SM go into SM mode ie "Slow Motion" . Will work overtime on a daily basis to get as much as possible b4 SM review them. I know it takes 6 weeks but I was hoping the review wouldn't start while Mid December and we are only 29 November as I speak now. Onwards... Under 21 player discussion

A place to talk about younger players getting gametime, call-ups, transfers, scoring goals etc. The forum does not have so many active threads and when building teams most people like to buy younger players and for this it is good to know what is going on. There are decent articles on young players on the rise quite a lot but there is not really a place to discuss or post them. Feel free to add in content and discuss at your leisure. #wonderkids
