  1. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Congrats to all the division winners but want to give a big shout out to my old rival Marc at Blackpool for winning Division One this season, its been a long time coming so enjoy it and keep that trophy warm for me till next season:p
  2. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread A great couple of days for United, firstly securing the youth cup with a 7-2 victory over Millwall and then today marching into the champions league final for the 2nd consecutive season, 7-2 on aggregate, commiserations to Marc & Will who both equally deserved a closer result than 7-2 but the match engine must of felt sorry for my disappointment at my league showing this season:p
  3. Re: |English Championship 30000|Discussions/MRs Thread Tottenham are done in the transfer market for now, happy enough with my 1st XI, missed out on a few of my preferred targets (mostly to Chelsea) but that is to be expected, aiming for a top 4 finish which will be tough with what the big 4 have done so far....
  4. Re: EC 30,000 MR's/Reports Etc Thread Tottenham Division one
  5. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Due to fatigue had to play a team made up of mostly my 2nd team players against Liverpool so was stoked to walk out of Anfield 2-1 winners, good start to the season so far sitting behind the upstarts Sheffield & Wrexham on goal differential.
  6. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Big thanks to Wayne for the Wolves job, i'd done my dash with the Saints so wanted a new challenge and this was the job I was looking for, already getting smashed with requests for Barkley, he's not moving anywhere permanently but once i've got my head around this team there is a possibility of him going out on loan.
  7. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread I say goodbye to the big Swede who was instrumental in bringing me two championships, was a tough decision to part with him but I've had my eyes on Lewandowski for a while and decided to make the move now, nice doing business with you Gonzodan:D Also just want to say good luck to everyone playing in the promotion finals tonight:)
  8. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Manchester United season 6 review After starting out the season with a loss to Exeter City in the Charity Shield followed by first round exits in both the Cup & Shield and taking a grand total of 4 points from our first 9 games to sit bottom of the table things were looking pretty dire on the red side of Manchester. The turning point of the season came after being publicly mocked by then table topping Plymouth Argyle, United went on a tear not seen at Old Trafford since I took over as manager, going on a 17 game unbeaten streak to push themselves right back into contention for both the premier league title & the champions league trophy, a couple of minor hiccups along the way to Colchester & Shorpe meant it was a nervous time heading into the final game of the season against Plymouth but the lads held on to win the trophy and become the first two time champs in 7777 history, the season is not quite over though as after dispatching of our highly respected long term rivals Blackpool in the champions league semi final the boys have a game against Roma to secure the double in 5 days time. As always United were active in the transfer market with some of our biggest deals being; Jordi Alba – Jack Wilshere, Rafael Da Silva & 1 Mill Claudio Marchisio – Douglas Costa, Ravel Morrison & 12.9 Mill Giuseppe Rossi – Arda Turan, Jores Okore & 1.9 Mill And in maybe the most controversial and scrutinized move superstar phenom Mario Gotze left Old Trafford to be replaced by another budding superstar in Julian Draxler and Spanish RB Daniel Carvajal, this one was a risk but I had an eye to the future and hopefully it pays off. Player of the Season It was a close call with many deserving winners but after appearing 32 games, scoring 13 goals and providing 19 more to lead the league in assists Gareth Bale is named as our player of the season Uniteds 7777 Honours list… Season 1: SMFA Champions Cup : Runner-Up Season 2: Division 1 : Runner-Up Season 3: English Championship Shield : Runner-Up Season 4: SMFA Shield : Runner-Up Season 4: Division 1 : Runner-Up Season 5: Division 1 : Winner Season 6: Division 1 : Winner Season 6: SMFA Champions Cup : Winner??
  9. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Commiserations Frozy' date=' you will be back. in other news..... [center'][/center] Definitely not the way I wanted to win the title, but i'll take it, back to back titles for United:D:D:D:D:D
  10. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Musa or Carvajal?
  11. Re: Ec 30,000! throw my name in the mix as well, always keen for a new ec
  12. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread United continue to limp towards their 2nd straight title with another draw, means Spurs need to win their final game, hope I lose against Plymouth and they'll need to overcome a 6 goal margin in differential, not impossible but its going to be tough:eek:
  13. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Decent away win against a very very strong opponent, puts one foot firmly in the final:D
  14. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Crucial win for Shorpe and thankfully for me other results went my way as well, still it would of been nice to extend the lead at the top of the table for some comfort. Next up a big semi final game in the SMFA Cup against rivals Blackpool followed by the Manchester Derby a day later, both could be season defining games:eek:
  15. Re: Forumer's Top Team Connect I'm keen to throw my 7777 United team in the mix
  16. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Lads went down a goal early on, then Rooney had two goals disallowed for offside play before we ran out with the game, the title is so close yet so far away its leading to nervous times at Old Trafford, 6 point lead at the top of the table with 4 games to go (Shorpe, City, Sunderland & Plymouth) none of them will be easy and we've still got the 2 legs of the champs league semi final against long term rivals Blackpool to contend with.
  17. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Rooney banging in goals again is nice, as is going top of the table. Losing Schweiny, my captain & rock in the midfield for the rest of the season, not so nice:(
  18. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread After a disastrous start to the season which included a loss to Exeter in the Charity Shield, being knocked out in the first round of both the cup & shield & taking just 4 points from my first 9 matches and sitting bottom of the table (not to mention the off the field drama which plagued me for much of the start of the season). United have come storming back into title contention sitting 2nd on the table just two points back from Middlesbrough, pretty stoked with this turn around to be honest:D
  19. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread This title hang-over is lasting a bit long for my liking, 2 points in 5 games ......Congrats on the victory Stewart
  20. Re: The Underdog version.2 - Prediction thread Division 3 Turn 3 San Lorenzo - Brighton & Hove Albion - DRAW Real Sporting - Hellas Verona - AWAY Energie Cottbus - Nautico - HOME VFL Bochum - UD Almeria - DRAW Stade de Reims - Leicester City - HOME Goals Scored - 15
