  1. Re: .:10000 bc:. Has this started already or can I still get in??
  2. Re: FIFA 13 Official Thread Jese Rodriguez is a beast on Fifa. Plays like Ronaldo. Hugely encourage those who haven't used him to try him out. Just started the 5th season of my Career Mode with Brighton on Legendary. We've got into the Champions League. Team looks like this: Butland (76) De Sciglio (81) /Reyes (79) / Miquel (77) / Tagliafico (77) Rabiot (77) / Oliver Torres (77) Suso (77) Piazon (83) / Yesil (81) / Jese (85) The front 3 are amazing.
  3. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Everyone at Crewe is for sale. Mainly P/E but good cash offers will also be considered
  4. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Hey guys, not been on for a while due to school but things should be back to normal. Still in the bottom 3. Feel that changes are needed at WBA, so everyone is for sale. Need to reduce the age of the squad so feel free to throw in a bid or two.
  5. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Haven't been on for a while due to school, but really happy to say Birmingham City have been promoted to Div 1. Looking forward to next season where I should be much more active. In terms of transfers, everyone is available bar Santi Cazorla, Leonardo Bonucci and Cristian Tello. Really in need of a 90+ CF (Giroud ) and a good LB.
  6. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread The real WBA finally turn up as we hit United for 5 at OT. Changed formation and it seems to have worked. Now, to push on.
  7. Re: English Championship 8888 Discussion Thread Congrats. Gutted to have lost out after leading the table for so long but 2nd is still a great achievement for Sunderland. Looks likely that I will be leaving soon
  8. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread New Crewe boss here. Pretty much open to selling anyone so make a bid, but nothing too derogatory.
  9. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread If his goals fire me to the Premier League something can be arranged.
  10. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Supersub Rickie Lambert does it again as he scores in the 74th minute to beat a stubborn Birmingham City side. 2 out of 2 and i'm pleased
  11. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Well done, you dominated and deserved to win. Our performances are concerning me though. We just haven't got started this season.
  12. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread 2-0 win away at Huddersfield does the job for the Gunners as we hit the top of the league. Goals from Lamps and Ronaldo get the job done. Now to stay at the top.
  13. Re: English Championship 8888 Discussion Thread A 2-1 win over a star-studded United combined with a Wigan victory over Arsenal leaves Sunderland 5 points clear at the top with 4 games to go. Strootman and Remy have been amazing for us in the run in so far.
  14. Re: Portuguese Under-19 players Hi, I would like to say this a great thread. Also can you give me some news on how Filipe Chaby and Iuri Medeiros are doing. Remember watching them last year in the NextGen tournament and they performed very well along with Betinho, Bruma and Joao Mario.
  15. Re: English Championship 231990 - Match/Transfer Report Thread New Era Starts With a Win The new Championship season started with a bang as Blackpool and Ipswich played out a thriller. The topsy-turvy match finished 3-2 in the favour of the newly taken over away side. The game seemed to start with a bang as Guirane N'Daw slipped Reyes through and he finished with aplomb but his celebrations turned out to be extremely short lived as he turned round to see the linesman's flag. Jonas had a few chances to put Ipswich in the lead while Mandzukic was looking increasingly threating for Blackpool in the opening twenty minutes. The match, though, settled down and became a midfield battle with both sides probing but neither finding a way through. Just as it looked like the game would reach half-time all square, a freak event sparked things into life. Young RB, Tony Jantschke was forced into returning the ball to his goalkeeper and as Handanovic went to smash the ball downfield, a horrible bobble took the ball over his foot and into the net. This seemed to spark the home side into action and they equalised just a minute before half-time as strikers Bas Dost and Mario Mandzukic combined and the latter's shot sneaked in. The hosts carried this momentum into the break and came out all guns blazing as just seconds into the 2nd period, Mandzukic doubled his tally after Menez whipped in a free-kick and the Croat headed in off the post. The game, however, seemed to take another twist on the hour mark, as Ipswich made a double substitution as Rickie Lambert and Abdel Barrad replaced Yevhen Khacheridi and N'Daw. Just 2 minutes later the Tractor Boys equalised. Lambert was fouled, and after spotting Handanovic out of position, struck an opportunistic free-kick which flew in. The match seemed to be petering out when, with just five minutes left, Ipswich struck again. Isaac Cuenca picked the ball up on the wing, and after beating a defender struck his shot past the keeper. That was the last meaningful action of the game as Ipswich held on to a hard earned three points.
  16. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Ipswich start the season with a 3-2 win from behind at Blackpool. Goals from Lambert, Cuenca and an OG. Bringing Lambert and Barrada on at 60 mins turned the game my way. Good start to the season.
  17. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Just posted a report on Ipswich's takeover and all the pre-season happenings. Hopefully I'll be able to do more reports.
  18. Re: English Championship 231990 - Match/Transfer Report Thread New Era at Portman Road A new season brings about a new beginning at Portman Road as the 2012-13 season heralds the beginning of a new era at the Suffolk club. The club were taken over by Snoop Dogg, in what was one of the most shocking news stories to break in the summer. The new owner's first job was to appoint a director of football to deal with the football operations of the club. The man chosen for the job was former Arsenal skipper Tony Adams. The new DoF's first job was to appoint new boss Arsene Wenger Jr. The manager's real name is unknown but as he has patented his game on the accomplished Frenchman, the name has stuck. With this appointment, the new era had well and truly begun. The new boss' first action at the new club was to put every player at the club up for sale. This was a drastic measure but it showed that the revolution at Ipswich was not a joke. As the summer went on more and more players departed. This left a huge rebuilding job which the manager immediately got on with. The boss said: The new signings were plentiful. The major signings were of former Arsenal and Sevilla winger Jose Antonio Reyes, Valencia forward Jonas and young Barcelona starlet Isaac Cuenca. The Spaniards should spearhead the new movement Experience has also been bought in, in the form of Paulo Cannavaro from Napoli, Maxwell from PSG and Roman Shirokov from Zenit. The new manager believes the mix of youth and experience will stand his side in good stead for the upcoming Championship season. One source of discomfort for the club's supporters was the fact that there were not many English players or those with Championship experience. The manager had this to say on the issue: He also had this to say on his aims for the new season: The season starts with a visit to Bloomfield Road to play Blackpool. Whatever happens this should be an interesting season for Ipswich fans.
  19. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Delighted to have Lambert on board. He will get goals in the Prem and therefore should rise. He, along with Jonas will lead my frontline this term. Looking forward to the first game of the season.
  20. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Ipswich complete the signing of Roman Shirokov. Surprised to get him without competition. Also on the way to the club is Jose Antonio Reyes. Loved this guy from his brief spell at Arsenal and hopefully he can have a good impact at Portman Road. Those two signings complete my team. Seeing some of the other teams in the division, I'm not confident at all but we'll se what happens as the season goes on.
  21. Re: English Championship 231990 - Discussion Thread Finally some transfers to talk about at Ipswich. Team loosk like this atm: Marchetti Juanfran---Khacheridi---Cannavaro---Maxwell Custodio---???? Salvio---????---Cuenca Jonas Got a contested bid accepted on Trochowski but not sure whether I will get him. Had Diamanti lined up for my AM spot but that move was hijacked by Millwall. Was gutted to miss out on him.
  22. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread 2-0 win at Everton for Arsenal. Goals from Dani Alves and Alex Pato. Up to 2nd in the table now.
