  1. Hey all, long time no see! I've created a Leicester City blog for my thoughts and views on all things to do with the Foxes. I've only written a few posts so far and any feedback about the writing, opinions, site lay-out etc would be greatly appreciated. It's mobile compatible too. https://yourdailyfoxes.wordpress.com/ Here's a link to my thoughts on the Villa game - https://yourdailyfoxes.wordpress.com/2015/09/14/the-foxes-3-2-villa-clever-claudio-outsmarts-tactics-tim/ Thanks

  3. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE
  4. Re: Official Red Devils thread Yes, and that seems to be Fergie's way of doing things too. He's too good for the Championship, give him a year in the Premier League as a regular for a lower team and he should be good to go at United. And why would I know anything about Will's injury? I'm not exactly close to the Keane's, I just watch Michael play at Leicester
  5. Re: Official Red Devils thread Just swung by to give an update on Michael Keane. He's played 16 games for the club now over the course of a few months, and it's clear to see that he's a fantastic talent. He started off a little slowly but he's now playing some absolutely brilliant football and it's lovely to watch him progress and develop. The best thing about him is his composure. He's so composed with the ball at his feet, he has a cracking eye for a pass and it's this which will set him ahead of other CBs his age in my opinion. Very rarely does he just lump it or misplace a pass, he doesn't want to go long and it's great to see. He's improved in the air over such a short space of time, he still needs to put on some muscle but he's more than a match for the divisions best strikers. He's not that fast but positionally he's exceptional so is usually in the right place. Still gets turned too easily at times but that will come. His 3 goals also demonstrate a knack for goals, he's keen (hehe) to get his head on the ball at corners and could easily have added to his three. Overall, if he keeps up this rate of development then I really can see him becoming a regular for Utd and England. Peace out. Celebrating after his goal away at Cardiff yesterday.
  6. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread He's got quick feet, and is quicker than most with the ball at his feet, but he's not that fast in general. He's developing well here, he's hit another lovely patch of form and is one of the reasons that we've now won 5 on the bounce. The main thing Knocky has improved is his work rate. If he didn't work hard and didn't help the defence (we play a fairly standard 4-4-2 with Knocky on the right, so he has to cover the RB) then he wouldn't play, it's that simple. Our manager is fantastic for instilling discipline into a team, along with great fitness levels and team spirit and it's clear that Knocky is benefitting from this, and it'll undoubtedly help him in the long run. I think Cardiff will win the league, but I fancy us to edge second over Hull, just got a better defence and attack. Clearly in great shape!
  7. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Should've signed Knockaert instead of Zaha. More goals, more assists, and probably cheaper as he's not English.
  8. Re: Official Manchester City Thread That's not the saying.

  10. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Who's in goal?
  11. Re: What grinds my gears... Sounds fairly reasonable to try and reduce carbon emissions and encourage public travel. Annoying for you maybe but the government has to look at the bigger picture.

  13. Re: What grinds my gears... Glad to see this thread getting used from time to time *Cue clever sentence about how I'm putting my own opinion forward and ignoring yours* People who talk on the third, and silent, floor of the library. If you want to talk to someone, either talk outside or move to a different floor. Just because you're whispering, doesn't mean I can't hear you. Notice my glare and either leave or shut the hell up. People with no common sense annoy me. The fact that as the light in my room cools after it's turned off, it clicks. Means that I've got to turn it off in advance of going to bed and use the bedside lamp for light. And to throw a football one in for good measure, Hull doing well.
  14. Re: FA Cup What a god awful draw. Already knocked 8 past Huddersfield this season, they'll want revenge and we'll be complacent because they've already rolled over for us twice this season. Poor poor poor.
  15. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread That's a depressing read. Can only imagine how he's going to turn out in a few years.
  16. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread Maybe the worst thing about it is the fact that Diouf is his favourite player. If someone such as that is treated like a role model then the youths of today have no hope for the future. Ben, he's 10. Hehe Ben 10.
  17. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread Signed Chris Wood Delighted to be honest. Young, can hold the ball up, plenty of experience of Championship and International football and can score goals. What's not to like?
  18. Re: The Official Npower Championship Thread Disgracful performance today, scored early on and the team thought they'd just stroll to victory. Millwall away next week, very tough game.
