Do feel for Sunderland. Just because they were the big dogs it doesn't mean Bradford City should be allowed to violate the laws of the game with no refereeing punishment.

He's been more disappointing than Ozil. Why he doesn't get labelled a flop is beyond me because that's exactly what he's been. All he does is hide behind the bigger stars in the team.
What does he actually do to keep Milner out of the team? 3 goals all season?
He starts giving it loud to Chelsea because he got his usual score glossing goal against Stoke but then soon reverts back to his usual anonymous self. He rarely changes a game. When he does score it's usually when City are already winning. I think he's only in the team to whip corners in.
He is a coward and I still can't get over the complaints about him being dropped at the World Cup because France clearly didn't miss his sideways passes and ineffectiveness.
All I remember from him today is Coutinho skipping past him to power that shot into the top corner. Vintage Nasri performance.

0-2 isn't even flattering either. 2 up top is suicide against this Barca midfield.

There was less backlash when Luke McCormick killed 2 children and proceeded to go back and play football than there is with Ched Evans. The populace needs to get it's priorities straight the disgusting hypocrites.

    Ozil isn't a big loss.
His injury is a blessing in disguise for players at Arsenal who actually make an effort.

Of course. He is an elite player that can make ineffective crabs like Nasri and Milner look half competent.

If 'end product' was fully recognised at 19 years of age than Didier Drogba would be considered a mediocre player and Robinho would be one of the greatest talents ever.
Potential clearly is important as is the end result. 2 sides of the coin.

Cardiff are unbelievably rubbish for a team that has spent 36 million over the season
They are a parody of everything wrong with football.

I don't buy into this argument because if this was the case over 50% of legitimate tackles would actually be fouls all over the pitch. The only reason people are using these claims (Which is completely and utterly nit picking), are because the decision in question is a penalty.
If this tackle was made anywhere else on the pitch and was given a foul not one single person would bring up the "Oh but technically it's a foul because Koscielny slightly touched the leg 0.3 seconds before the ball bla bla bla".
If he came through Agbonlahor and wiped him out and then got the ball it would be a logical argument but in this case it is just nit picking to defend a referee who quite blatantly made the wrong decision, which he wasn't in a good position to make. If the linesman didn't give it then there is no reason for the referee to either.
There was me thinking it's a contact sport god forbid. May as well abolish tackling.

The point wasn't remembering who got 4th place. The point was remembering who participated in the Champions League because they achieved 4th place or higher the previous season. Everyone will remember Tottenham's maiden CL campaign, probably more-so than their League Cup win. It gets brought up far more often than their League Cup win I can assure you. It's all relative.
Portsmouth and Birmingham for their recent cup finals, and cup wins. Where are they now? Portsmouth financially crippled themselves to even achieve their cup win which resulted in their relegation. Birmingham sacrificed their Premier League status, by focusing too much on a cup competition they couldn't afford to. Again, it's all relative.
Fans do look forward to cup finals. But fans also look forward to big European nights. How do these come about? By finishing in the top 4. Teams across the elite European leagues all aspire to break into the Champions League places more than anything else.
They are there though. Known worldwide because they are an ever present. Reminds me of that famous Zinedine Zidane quote "What is Tottenham?". I think that quote says more than I could ever about it.
Will Arsenal kick on and win it ever? That remains to be seen although it is highly unlikely in this lifetime. Even so, 15+ consecutive years or whatever it is of top European Football is an impressive feat no matter which way you spin it, and Arsenal fans have been spoilt such.
When I say this I mean nobody really cares that United beat Wigan 4 or 5 nil in the League Cup final half a decade ago. It's far more interesting when the smaller clubs do well in these competitions, because that is what they should be striving for, not teams like Arsenal and Liverpool. It's why these big teams often put out weaker teams, because of priorities (Your example is more of an exception than a rule).
    Just my opinion.

The main problem with the goal was Kos slipping. This left Vermaelen with 2 players 2 cover. One made a run, Bale I believe which he then had to track. This left Saha on for a simple ball. Gibbs should have been marking Saha as soon as Vermaelen got dragged away, as it goes Gibbs was too high up. Vermaelen done everything right, to then read the real danger and get in a good position between the goal and Saha. The goal itself was just massively lucky, but the way it came about was suicidal defending. I think Gibbs was too high up, Koscielny was too far right, and Vermaelen was torn between marking 2 massive threats in which he done everything right as it goes. Sagna was fine to be as high up as he was, because the ball was in play that side. Gibbs however had no right to be high up as Arsenal weren't attacking down the left at that time.
