  1. Re: Loic Remy, Micah Richards, Juan Agudelo Agudelo has a bright future ahead of him as a US national team player, unfortunately with regards to SM that doesn't translate into big profits or high ratings especially in the near future. He also plays in the MLS which is a bit of a limiting factor, but I could see him rising maybe even as soon as next USA review. Yesterday he was subbed in at the 55th minute for RedBull New York and scored 2 goals. Of all the match time he's seen this season, half was as a sub and half as a starter (in 19 games he's made 13 total appearances.)
  2. Re: Georgi Schennikov Agreed, he's due for a definite rise. How much is the question, but a +2 isn't unreasonable.
  3. Re: Gennaro Gattuso . I do like De Rossi.... anyhow, thanks for the feedback!
  4. Re: Gennaro Gattuso . Do you know if he will continue to play for Italy over the next few years?
  5. Re: Struggling Teams - Need Veteran Help! Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm definitely leaning towards Valencia now. I'd still love to sign Rossi if I can scrape together the money after this big purchase. I'm tempted to just sell off some talent and buy Ribery, but I don't like heavily investing in one player, plus Im not sure one top talent surrounded by 90 rated players would make as much of a different as signing 2 or maybe even 3 ~92 SM rated players this season. No one likes Lisandro? If I recall correctly, I looked up his stats and he's been on a bit or a terror this season. Although, he's played relatively few games so I'm assuming he's coming back from an injury?
  6. Re: right winger - need help! With the likes of MARIN and HAZARD probably taken already, how about: LENNON PJANIC TURAN They're some solid talents that might be under the radar if there aren't too many managers in your league.
  7. I miraculously placed fourth in the top division last season in my gameworld, thanks to an incredible run of good luck and form. However, my Ajax team is high on prospective young talent but relatively low on SM ratings. Things have come crashing down this season, and with 20 games played and only 16 points, I'm sitting in 18th place and looking at relegation. I'm a decent tactician, but most of the clubs I'm playing have multiple 92+ rated players and I just can't seem to compete any more! My idea is to sign some key veteran, high SM rating players that will hold their value or possibly even rise in the future, but also pay dividends now and move me up the league ladder. Here's who I've got (omitting most of my youth prospects that will never see the starting roster): LLORIS, Hugo Gk 24 92 SUAREZ, Luis Fwd 23 91 CAVANI, Édinson Fwd/Wing 23 90 MARIN, Marko Wing/Fwd 21 90 LENNON, Aaron Wing 23 90 PJANIC, Miralem AM/Wing 20 90 PASTORE, Javier AM 21 90 DE ZEEUW, Demy CM/RM 27 90 VIDAL, Arturo DM/Def 23 90 BADSTUBER, Holger CB/LB 21 90 HUMMELS, Mats CB/DM 22 90 VAN DER WIEL, Gregory RB 22 90 STEKELENBURG, Maarten Gk 28 90 HAZARD, Eden Wing/AM 19 89 PALACIOS, Wilson CM/DM 26 89 EMANUELSON, Urby LM/LB 24 89 VERTONGHEN, Jan Def/DM 23 89 BONUCCI, Leonardo CB 23 89 As you can see, I've got some good talent, but they're all hovering around 90, and that's not cutting it! Prospects - All currently or shortly available at unmanaged or external teams in my gameworld at the moment: RIBERY, Franck Wing/AM FC Porto 27 95 £33.4M LISANDRO, López Fwd/Wing Lyon 27 92 £15.4M CARRICK, Michael CM/DM Valencia 29 92 £14.7M ROSSI, Giuseppe Fwd/AM Bordeaux 23 91 £16.1M VALENCIA, Antonio Wing FC Twente 25 91 £15.1M MONTOLIVO, Riccardo CM Fiorentina 25 91 £14.9M MOUTINHO, João CM/RM Sporting CP 24 91 £16.4M I only have $20 million in the bank as I have only very recently signed Lloris, but could free up more if I wanted to start selling off lower rated prospects I've been collecting. (RENAN, Jordi ALBA, Felipe ANDRE, Bruno CESAR I suppose I should just get Ribery, but the price tag is a bit steep for one player, will he at least be holding his 95 rating for a few years? I really like Rossi and Lisandro as options as well. But, who on that list stands a chance of continuing to rise in SM rating? Also, I most often play a 4-5-1 (usually defensive) and I counter attack hoping to win low scoring games. It worked great last season, but not very well this season. As always, thoughtful input is greatly appreciated!
  8. Re: Bundesliga Winter Transfers 2011 Picked up Leitner for my SM Borussia Dortmund team, thanks for the heads up.
  9. Re: Adam BOYES - 40k Player. Any update on this kid? I tried looking online for some stats, but he hasn't been playing lately?
  10. Re: Adding (Rising) Midfield Talent... That's a great tip! So if I can poke around online for the real life roster of a club, then buy a player on SM who is listed under a different team, he'll sell back to the SM equivalent of his current real life squad?
  11. Re: Adding (Rising) Midfield Talent... I just learned that Hulk and Jovetic are both on unmanaged teams that have the bare minimum of players in my Game World, so no player from those teams can be signed. Frustrating! That leaves me with Ramires, and I can't decide whether or not I think things will pick up for him at Chelsea... I guess I'll wait and keep an eye on his situation to see if performance picks up. In the mean time, I did sign Mats Hummels from Dortmund, although he is a Defensive Midfielder he's on the rise and I really like him.
  12. Re: Adding (Rising) Midfield Talent... Think Bender will hit 90 next ratings and keep going? Think Sahin will go to 91? I checked his stats, he's playing well but not exactly lighting things on fire...
  13. Re: Adding (Rising) Midfield Talent... Thanks for the feedback guys, definitely have some more names to look into now. A lot of those players have already been snapped up, which is what's making this much more challenging. (ie Kroos, P Jones, Sissoko, Gervinho, even Honda! etc) I also have a few names you guys have suggested, so at least I know I'm headed in the right direction. I have Pastore, Propper, Hazard and a few others that I think are set to rise over the coming seasons. Thanks again guys, and if you can think of any more suggestions I'll take them!
  14. I'm looking for an easy way to add some midfield talent to my Ajax team in order to become more competitive in the top division in my championship. By "easy" I mean through players that are on unpopular teams, or external teams because all of the big name clubs and top prospects are pretty much taken already, it's challenging. I've come up with a few prospects I could probably get without many problems, and would like any input you can give me on the future of these players (specifically their SM ratings, but I do like hearing about them as well) LAVEZZI - Estudiantes MONTOLIVO - Fiorentina HULK - FC Porto JAVETIC - Fiorentina RAMIRES - Chelsea? (Not currently with Chelsea in my Game World) Thanks in advance!
  15. Re: demy de zeeuw I like him and have kept him on my SM Ajax team, but I wouldn't expect him to be going places as far as SM Rating is concerned.
  16. Re: Trade PJANIC? Thanks for the advice guys, I'm satisfied knowing he has a decent shot at moving to a higher profile club in the future. And there really isn't anything better I get out of either of those offers, outside of a Dutch prospect that probably doesn't have the same amount of upside.
  17. PJANIC is rated at 90, valued at £15,160,000 and in the last French League changes he got a position change but no rating increase. I've been offered the following two options from other teams in my league: 1) £17,585,600 2) £6,000,000 plus Wout BRAMA Now, I really like the idea of picking up a Dutch player in BRAMA (rated 89), but my concerns are firstly that BRAMA might not be due for a rise for quite some time as he just picked up a +1 recently and also that I am uncertain about where PJANIC's future will take him. Is BRAMA a 90+ player in the future? Is PJANIC still rising? Any input is greatly appreciated!
  18. Re: CM/AM/DM Riser. Competitive League. Help Needed. How about... VIDAL, Arturo or BENDER, Sven Arturo might not be due for a big rise, but Bender has been starting for BVB in the Bundesliga this season, although he's only rated 86 at the moment.
  19. Re: My risers / youth team Hope this helps, or at least bumps your thread
  20. Re: Team Evaluation: Keep Or Sell? Well obviously, you'll probably want to keep your highest rated players so you can compete in your game world, so no big news there. The following are some names I picked form your squad that I've seen pop up most often on the SM message boards and know at least a little about: DELAC - On the rise young player, but if you've made your money on him already then you could probably sell him if you've needed money, or keep him if you're patient and don't need any cash. Even if he got bumped up a bit more in his rating he would never be a starter for your team. Could the money be better used on another player that would help your team more? Only you can decide that. De VRIJ - Another lower rated player (80) that will get a decent rise in the next Dutch ratings, I have him on 2 of my SM teams. KOSCIELNY, Laurent - Hang on to this guy, he should get a rise in his leagues next ratings and it looks like he's a decent backup defender with his current 88 rating for your team. BADSTUBER, Holger - Must keep, should hit 90 in the next Bundesliga ratings review, maybe even an outside shot at 91. He's doing great things for his club side and the German national side. JONES, Phil - A hot prospect a lot of people talk about, worth keeping for now and deciding whether or not to sell him after his next big rise depending on how he is doing then. JOHNSON, Adam - I have him on one of my SM teams, he definitely has talent and should keep rising and increasing in value. MULLER, Thomas - Keep, at least until the next Bundesliga ratings. ELIA, Eljero - On the bubble. I picked him up for my Ajax squad just because he is Dutch and I like Dutch players. He's talented, no doubt, but his SM rating might not be going places. Might be due for a rise of +1 next Dutch review. Absolute must keeps: PJANIC, Miralem PASTORE, Javier HAZARD, Eden NEYMAR, Silva HERNANDEZ, Javier OZIL, Mesut
