This is just an Idea that came too me last night while talking to a friend on Facebook......
Every member of EC2933 that is on the forum opens a new Facebook account and uses there club name plus 2933 in letters as the account holders name..so e.g
    First name: Shorpe
    Second name: twoninethreethree
then they use there club badge as there profile picture....e.g

we then add everyone, so we have all the forumers in our firends list.
now if everyone logs onto thier club facebook page at the same time as they are on soccermanager, they will........
    1. easily be able to see who is online in the pop-up friends menu
    2. be able to send PM's ten times faster without navigating out of your club page.
    3. be able to use the instant message/chat facility to sort out deals with players that are online.
    4. automatically post your results to your page through SM.
This is only an idea, but having a social league network might just push 2933 to the top of the pile.....
anyone who already has a Facebook account will have to use a new E-mail address.
If you setup a page log in then follow this link to find the first person to add...
    http://www.facebook.com/editgroup.php?gid=114111425318749#!/profile.php?id=100001790380372
as people use this link we should be able to find everyone pretty easily
let me know what you think of this idea

Kranjcar Brace Helps Spurs Beat Chelsea

Kranjcar after scoring his second goal

Before the match up between Chelsea and Tottenham, Chelsea was on top of the tables with a vein of good form under their belt so this match was surely going to be a match to watch.
Things started to look bad for Spurs when Gareth Bale recklessly tackled youngster Fabio Paim who was put through by a wonderful pass by Iniesta. Bale received a caution for the challenge and was on thin ice for the rest of the game.
In the 15th minute there was a mix-up between the players in the box and the ball almost rolls into the back of the net unnoticed but Gomes stopped the ball dead stop on the line.
The turning point came in the 25th minute and from there it was all over it was an uphill battle from then on for Chelsea after Kranjcar scored the opening goal. Kranjcar some how scored from the tightest of angles after going around Czech International Petr Cech. Ten minutes later Cech ensured that the poor start by Bale would be forgotten and all eyes cast on him when he fumbled a chip by Bale in the 35th minute.
Kranjcar increased the lead when Aaron Lennon sprinted down the wing and delivered an in perfect cross. The final blow was delivered in the dying moments, it was evident that Chelsea was out of gas when Lucho Gonzalez did some fancy footwork and left centre back Mancienne stunned before finishing past Cech.
When we caught up with Lito Antonio after the game he was in a excited mood, he had this to say:

Win Over Kroitzz Was Extra Special

Balotelli warming up before the Everton match.
After Mario Balotelli scored his second goal of the season as lead and lone striker against Everton at Goodison Park by way of a well placed header in the 49th minute, Spurs manager Lito Antonio was seen running to the visiting crowd with his hands aloft.
We caught up to Antonio after to ask why this win meant so much to him. Antonio was still smiling when he answered " Well it was a tough match firstly, but we capitalized on the majority of possession and shots on target and it meant a little more because it was against Kroitzz. It's the same thing with the Manchester City game the win meant more because it was against KopStar we had a conversation about playing each other in the top league."
Antonio further went on to speak on what his future goals for Tottenham would be, "Also Kroitzz told me at the time when I was in Div 2 that it would be a good challenge to play against the likes of himself and KopStar. To tell the truth my next rivalry would be against my fellow Jamaican manager Bibi at West Ham United."
"I am happy with where Tottenham is now in the top four but how long we may stay there is a real question I'm always looking at ways to gain more depth in a competitive league such as this. My ultimate goal now for Tottenham this season is to qualify for Europe again."

    Spurs Boss Puzzled

After today's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Stoke City, Lito Antonio was puzzled to say the least. "I really do not know what happened out there especially in front of home fans." Antonio stated he fielded a much different squad to give the regulars a break but it seemed to have backfired.
"I really do not think they [stoke] dominated the game to the point where we should have lost by four goals. It was tight in possession with 51 to 49 in their favour but, we had 11 shots and all on target."
"I think the second string defence is going to have to get more used to the role of filling in and putting in better performances. With all that aside I congratulate Stoke because they definitely made do with their chances, as for my team they need to buckle down."

    Lito Antonio Secures First Win

In the wake of Lito Antonio switching clubs there has been a lot of question marks on whether he could manage the top tier. Lito Antonio took the job as Spurs boss after guiding a well rounded West Brom to promotion. Even in the wake of the promotion the skeptics have been voicing their opinions. One journalists was quoted as saying "Antonio will lead Spurs to relegation."
Antonio's win today over Manchester United 3-1 should surely silence the critics for another day. Antonio was quoted as saying "I really do not care what they have to say the GM has certain plans for the club and thought I was a good candidate and I only aim to make the fans proud as I did at West Brom." Antonio also wished the new manager at his former club all the best as he says it is a great club with a great fan base.
When asked about what changes he had in mind and how he is getting along with the set of players Antonio said "I think we are a bit weak in the RB area but I am looking into that as I see Otamendi is on the market. I'm not sure if we have anyone who we can exchange to complete the deal but I am looking into that. The players are great they have welcomed me with open arms, Defoe is the comedian of the bunch and Raul like the father and I am happy they both scored today. "

    Focus on your title race

In response to KopStars comments Lito Antonio definitely was not showing signs of a Manager of the month when he told KopStar to pay more attention to his title race with Arsenal than his criticism of referees. "I really do not know where he comes off saying that managers like myself think we are bigger than referees. I have made my apology but my opinion as it relates to that referee still stands but I don't want to get into that and risk being fined again I couldn't afford a cup of coffee after the FA sent me my notice this week."
"KopStar is a top manager challenging for top honours this season, so it surprised me that my actions were more important than his team dropping points against West Ham who certainly did not roll over to the star studded City."
"I really do believe that even though we won it was still a talking point to pinpoint some decisions because it may affect other teams. I hope if the scenario happens to City, KopStar will be as professional as he suggests I should act. But I'm not one to hold grudges for outspoken managers we will just have our opinions in the media if that's the case."

Lito Antonio is fined by FA

Recent winner of the "Manager of the Month" award for EC 2933 Lito Antonio has been fined by the FA today after he criticized referee Carlos Torres Nunez for being biased and stupid in his calls. Coincidentally Queens Park Rangers manager Sgt. Fury was recently in headlines for criticizing the same referee.
Lito Antonio stated that minutes before in-form Jerome Thomas got a red card for shouting at the ref and kicking the ball away, Cardiff player Kevin McNaughton was playing unfairly and was putting in some awful late tackles. Lito Antonio had this to say, "It is no coincidence that he[Nunez] was criticized for his form earlier this month for his performance he is awful. Jerome[Thomas] had every right to be angry after the ref was not making calls against Cardiff."
Lito Antonio said he did not care about the reprucussions at the time but, it is now shaping up that Lito Antonio sent an apology to the club and its fans that he was wrong to criticize the referee he was in the heat of the moment. Antonio made it clear even though they were down to nine men he was happy the team showed their quality and got the 3 points and won by such a big margin also to help keep the team on top of the tables in Div 2.

    We must stop dropping points!

Jerome Thomas on his way to scoring the opener for West Brom in their 1-1 draw with Plymouth

West Brom manager Lito Antonio seemed a bit disappointed after his sides 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle. "I give credit to Plymouth for having more of the possesion, but my team failed when it came to finishing in front of the goal 23 shots? 11 on target? and only one goal?"
With the drop in points the gap at the top of the table has been cut to only 6 points. "If we are to win we must keep composure and a level head we have had a great run so far but the boys are losing focus and showing signs of faltering. We must stop dropping points if we are to win the league."
Lito Antonio also spoke briefly about the next few fixtures for his team and his closest challengers Stoke City. "I think Stoke definitely have the easier set of games left with the highest placed team they will face in the next three games being placed 13th. We have top of the division Newcastle in the next few weeks. The only upside to our schedule that I see is that If we win we collect valuable points."

    Hats off to Derby Gaffer

Derby's top striker this season Lucas Barrios with 20 goals

The first Manager of The Month awards of English Championship 2933 have started this week. In the wake of his nomination Lito Antonio responded with gratitude saying, "It feels good to know that your own peers respect you and acknowledge your accomplishments."
Lito Antonio also revealed publicly who he gave his vote to, he told a group of reporters that he could look no further than the Derby County manager, Chris Bickmore. "I think he[Chris] has and is doing a great job of keeping the pressure on league leaders Barnsley that's the sort of thing that makes leagues interesting. I would have voted for Hull City or Stoke City who are on my tail now, but I feel the lower leagues need to be acknowledged as well."

Yakubu after scoring his 11th goal of the season against Watford
After the 2-1 win by West Bromwich Albion today over Watford with goals from Yakubu and new signing Tobias Weis, reporters caught up with Lito Antonio. Antonio was asked how he felt with the team performing so well. "I am ecstatic because so far I have only lost 1 game which was my first game in charge but, the fans nor the players ever gave up on me and it shows what support and commitment can do."
Weis and Lisandro were also highlighted for their recent good performances since arriving at the Hawthornes. "Lopez[Lisandro] told me he would make sure that he was playing top flight football next season to play against his Argentinian team-mates such as Walter Samuel and new arrival to Manchester City Ansaldi, who I was hoping to bring to the Hawthornes but you sleep and you lose in this league." Antonio also added that Tobias Weis had shown that he was ready to step in and do what he needed to do right away for the club. Weis scored the match winner and his first goal today in only his second game against Watford, while Lisandro has a record of an impressive 6 goals in 6 matches with his notable four(4) goals against Millwall in West Bromwich Albion's record breaking 7-0 home win.
Before leaving the press conference Lito Antonio revealed his ambitions with a smile for next season. "I know it is still early in the season to say I will be in Division 1 next season with 13 games left so much can go wrong injuries, lack of form and even worse luck not being our side. Even with that said I do hope the side keeps their form till the end of the season and extends their current 5 point lead so we can test our wits against the likes of KopStar and Leedsfan, they are both good managers but I would not let my team pass up the chance of beating them"

    FRIENDLY IS THE ONLY OPTION!

In wake of the spat of words between Leedsfan and KopStar, West Bromwich Albion manager Lito Antonio has said the only way to calm the war of words is to settle it on the field. Lito also added "I hope the loser of the two legged friendly is not a sore loser as this will put the quarrel back to square one."
As for his thoughts on the drug scandal taking place, Antonio had this to say, "It is a shame that a man like Mutu is still playing this great game. Its players like him that tarnish the name of good football. I think he deserves a lifetime ban."

    Adrian Mutu found guilty!

Mutu set for suspension and possible police time

Confirmation has been received that Adrian Mutu has been found guilty of possession of drugs. It was earlier reported but now confirmed.
The charges are the second to be associated with the Romanian striker after an earlier scandal with Chelsea. It is unclear whether he was selling the drugs or taking them. He has been fined an un-named sum and a court case is on the horizon.
However contrary reports are suggesting that Diego has been found in possession of 2 grams of cocaine, contrary to earlier reports. He has been fined his season's wages and been forced to attend a counseling. In rather astounding claims that the player quoted as being offered drugs by Diego was non other than Manchester City star Ronaldinho.
Is this the end of the drug ring scandal?
KopStar has also added his thoughts stating, 'This has been a emotionally stirring and provocative last few hours. Leedsfan has had a lot on his plate. His constantly denies it was him but I have my doubts. After a picture showing him leaving a nightclub with Lindsay Lohan, I find it hard to believe it was a misidentification. Does he look like Mr Campbell or has he payed off the police? I hope for his sake neither.'

    Man Up!

Leedsfan crying out for the focus to be on football
After going through a testing period of his management career, Leedsfan has cried out for Manchester City manager, KopStar, to 'Man Up' and accept the two legged friendly tie Vinnie Jones suggested. Leedsfan has come out of his and Everton's darkest moment reasonably unscathed. When asked about the situation, Leedsfan had this to say, "It's been tough. No denying that. I hope that this situation doesn't hinder our season. We can use this as motivation for the rest of our season. I'm hoping for KopStar and Hatton to not be so cowardly and step forth to take this challenge. The proceeds will go to children living with cancer and is a good promotion in the game. There is no doubting Everton and Manchester City fixtures are the biggest in English football now. This Merseyside derby is now bigger than that of the Old Guard, in Liverpool and Manchester United. So KopStar and Hatton, man up and take this challenge and step away from the cowardice you are full of.
