    IanMcCo got a reaction from Kazzer in MSL USA low rated players with lots of 2009 minutes
    Hi Guys - please please be gentle with me
    I don't claim to know much about the Major Soccer League - and have purely created this post so I can record my own scouting then check once the ratings for the USA/America have been done, and ultimately judge if this was a complete waste of an hour on a Friday night
    Below I have listed a couple of players that are currently rated 70 - but have played a few games for their respective teams (at least 300minutes was my criteria)
    I have been through all the MLS teams, and these appear to be the only 70s that have +300mins in 2009. All stats are taken from TransferMarkt.co.uk (only click on links from those you trust )

    CHICAGO FIRE
    Peter LOWRY - 70
    8 MLS starts (1 sub appearance)
    3 MLS Goals
    660 Minutes
    TORONTO FC
    Emmanuel GOMEZ - 70
    6 MLS starts (3 sub apps)
    2 CONACAF starts
    675 minutes
    Amadou SANYANG - 70
    3 MLS starts (4 sub apps)
    315 minutes
    1 red card
    O’Brian WHITE - 70
    5 MLS starts (4 sub apps)
    2 CONACAF sub apps
    2 MLS goals
    468 minutes

    I do not expect any of them to get 'big rises' or even be 'future stars'
    I would take a guess that some of them would go up maybe 3-5 as I recently 'scouted' two Norwegians with similar minutes and they both rose 5 today.
    Small profit I know, but if you look after the pennies......
    PS Once I've done this a couple of times I might even try scouting the bigger risers, and when I have a bit more confidence I might even make some predictions on what they will rise to.
    PPS Sorry for all the disclaimers I don't want you wasting 10k+salary lol

    Again, I don't claim to be an expert or even a fan of the MLS - I am just posting the 70 rated players and their stats for 2009, and a guess at which ones will rise
    There are some 70 players who got +2 for just 1 sub appearance at the last USA ratings review
    Remi Johansen in Norway recently got a +5 for 4 starts/4 sub apps - might be a good indicator, might not
    Again these are just basic scouting - please don't moan if you waste 10k

    Abdisalam Ibrahim also at Man City
    He's played twice for first team since January (1 Fa Cup start, 1 EPL sub appearance)
    Boyata has played more games though - and performed better - he was covering for injuries, but was preferred to Nedum Onuoha when he made it back to fitness. He's dropped out of the first team again now that Lescott, Kompany and Toure are all back
    I think both will get loaned out at the end of the season and should both progress from their starting level of 75

    Ok, ive been patient with the 3 month update they were having, but does this mean, no section 7 and mainly section 8 new players? I was awaiting for players like Isco & co.
    I mean, i thought that after they woulda done the update, they woulda added everyone that was supposed to be added at the time being, but now im a bit worried that it wont happen, and its pretty bad considering that next time there will be the review of the leagues where this players play, instead of a rise, they will just get added.

    No risers of note were in the list and they were all English

    IanMcCo got a reaction from Rams Fan in Craig Bellamy, maximum rating?
    Re: Craig Bellamy, maximum rating?
    He's 30 - so I can't see him rising too much over the next few years. There are also rumours (from him) that he is retiring from internationals - it depends on whether City get into Europe.
    Would I sell him? Depends how competetive your league is, and how hard a possible 89 riser is to get hold of.
    Will he get a rise? I think that depends on his attitude under Mancini and whether City can get into Europe and if he performs well on that stage
    He got a rise to 89 in December due to his good start to the season -
    Before his +1 -->89 rating he had
    10 league starts (+2 sub apps) 5 goals 4 assists 932 minutes 2 bookings
    2 League Cup starts (+1 as sub) - 2 assists - 1 booking - 228 mins
    2 Internationals - 1 goal - 1 yellow - 180 minutes
    Since the ratings (and Hughes getting fired a week after his increase)
    6 league starts (+2 as sub) - 1 goal 4 assists 496 minutes 1 booking 1 red card
    2 League cup starts - 2 assists - 180 minutes
    2 FA Cup sub apps - total 22 minutes
    Stats don't always show a great picture but I honestly think we saw Bellamy at his maximum under his fellow Welshman (Hughes)
    I'm off to the Man City v Liverpool game in about an hour - let's hope he proves me totally wrong today if he's fit - scores one, sets up one and gets MoM before saving a last minute Gerrard penalty after Given has to be replaced

I've been buying some of those risers for my teams, and I'm happy to share them with you .
    Liga Adelante:
    Griezmann (Real Sociedad, 74 -> 80)

    Ruben (FC Cartagena, 77 -> 81/82)
    Tato (FC Cartagena, 75 -> 79)
    Pacheco (Rayo Vallecano, 75 -> 79, he is on loan from Atletico de Madrid and many label him as a big talent)
    Akinsola (Salamanca, 72 -> 75)
    Biel Ribas (Salamanca, 75 -> 80/81)
    Zamora (Salamanca, 75 -> 78/79)

    Marilungo (Lecce, 76 -> 81)
    Mustacchio (Ancona, 74 -> 76, again not much of a riser, but he is on loan from Sampdoria and made a good U-20 WC with Italy. Might be worth to keep an eye on)

    Napoli (Modena, 69- 76, on loan from Inter) Thanks to swindon1991 for the suggestion.
    Any potential +5 is highlighted in bold. Some hot prospects were included, even if they won't rise very much. I'm sure I still missed some risers, but this should be enough to financially boost any team by a considerable amount .
