    One Month After the Argentine Review:
    the Keep/Sell Thread

    I keep getting requests on my Argentina thread about which players you should be keeping and which players you should be selling, as well as seeing the countless number of queries on the other Argentine threads and the brand new threads created for just an answer. So to save me some time, here, I have picked out every notable riser from the recent Argentine review and given you an indication as to whether they are worth keeping or not. If there is anyone I have missed and you would like to know whether they are worth keeping, then don't hesitate to ask. Furthermore, if you have any enquiries about any player currently plying their trade in Argentina, or if you would like to know a bit more about a certain player, I shall endeavour to answer your question.
    Each player has an overall verdict attached to their name and I have tried my best to cater for Gold Championship managers, or set-ups of a more competitive nature. If you are a manager competing in a regular set-up that isn't particularly active, then lean more towards the more ruthless side of my verdict. Here is how I assess each different category of my analysis:
    SELL - this player is rubbish and/or has hit his maximum rating. Get rid as soon as possible, simple as.
    MAYBE SELL - this player has the potential to go further in the future but it might take a while for him to hit that potential. Sell now if you can't be bothered to wait.
    KEEP/SELL - this player can be kept or sold depending on the quality of your team, the standard and activity of your set-up and/or your urgency to raise some funds. You have to make a decision based on the information I'm giving you.
    PATIENTLY KEEP - this player is a good player and/or a hot prospect, but he won't be rising next time. Despite this, he is worth keeping for the future if you are patient with him.
    KEEP - this player will likely rise again next time and/or is a great player/hot prospect.
    ***MUST KEEP*** - this player is a future star. Under no circumstances should you be flogging this guy on the cheap.
    Anyway, enough with the chit-chat, read away.

    Argentinos Juniors:
    - currently 5th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Ignacio Canuto (CB/RB - 24) - 5(2) - 84 ---> 86 ---> 86 - MAYBE SELL
    Has lost his place in the side during March but is more than capable of winning it back in time. Nearing maximum potential rating of 87/88 but set for a stay at the minute next time around.

    Arsenal de Sarandi:
    - currently 7th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Claudio Mosca (CM/LM - 19) - 0(0) - 75 ---> 80 ---> 80 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Yet to figure in the Clausura, so no rise is imminent. However, he has been called up for the Argentina under-20's. Could sell in uncompetitive set-ups.
    Ivan Marcone (CM - 21) - 6(1) - 75 ---> 80 ---> 83 - KEEP
    Gradually becoming a more important figure for Arsenal, starting every game in March (with a record of PL5 - W4 D1 L0). Set for another small rise in the next review and capable of going further after that.
    Franco Jara (Fwd - 21) - 6(3) - 80 ---> 85 ---> 85 - KEEP
    Isn't enjoying as successful a Clausura as he did in the Apertura, but has already agreed a deal to join up with Benfica for the Summer. Worth keeping to see how he fits in.

    Atletico Tucuman:
    - currently 20th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Damian Musto (CM/RM - 22) - 5(1) - 80 ---> 82 ---> 82 - SELL
    Tucuman are getting relegated. Sell.
    Juan Pablo Pereyra (CF - 25) - 7(0) - 80 ---> 82 ---> 82 - SELL
    As above.

    Banfield:
    - currently 6th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats.
    Julio Barraza (RB - 30) - 11(0) - 83 ---> 86 ---> 86/87 - KEEP/SELL
    Regular for the Apertura champs. Could rise to 87 next time. Keep if 86/87 is good for your squad; sell if you have better, younger prospects.
    James Rodriguez (Wing/AM - 18) - 12(0) - 78 ---> 85 ---> 87 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Integral figure for Banfield, both in the league and the Copa Libertadores. Immensely talented and bound to move to Europe this Summer. Strong links with Juventus.
    Cristian Garcia (Fwd/Wing - 22) - 5(6) - 77 ---> 80 ---> 82 - KEEP/SELL
    Very much a back-up striker who plays when Banfield field a weakened side before a Copa Libertadores game in midweek. Could see another small rise but nothing major. Keep if you have the patience to see him break through; sell if you don't.

    Boca Juniors:
    - currently 18th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Ezequiel Munoz (CB- 19) - 6(1) - 78 ---> 82 ---> 84 - KEEP
    Isn't having a great 2010 so far, but has little help around him. Might see a small rise next time with a move to Europe inevitable in the future.
    Gaston Sauro (CB - 20) - 0(0) - 75 ---> 78 ---> 78 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Has been injured much of this year (I think), so hasn't played. Future first-choice CB for Boca.
    Jesus Mendez (CM/DM - 25) - 8(0) - 84 ---> 86 ---> 86 - MAYBE SELL
    A regular, but hasn't been the difference maker that Boca were hoping for since arriving from Central. Decent player who has potential to rise in the future, but can't see him rising next time around.
    Nicolas Gaitan (Fwd/Wing - 22) - 9(0) - 85 ---> 86 ---> 87 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Excellent talent with a very promising future. One of the few positive things to talk about at Boca right now. Should move to Europe this Summer, with Ajax already making formal interest. Barcelona are said to be keen.

    Chacarita Juniors:
    - currently 13th

    Alejandro Frezotti (CM - 26) - 10(0) - 77 ---> 82 ---> 82 - SELL
    Chacarita are favourites to be relegated along with Atletico Tucuman and I reckon Frezotti would go down with them.
    Facundo Parra (Fwd - 24) - 11(0) - 84 ---> 85 ---> 85/86 - KEEP/SELL
    Scoring for fun in the Clausura which could earn him a move to a better club if/when Chacarita get relegated. If he does move, he deserves a rise.
    Diego Morales (Fwd - 23) - 10 (0) - 78 ---> 82 ---> 82 - SELL
    Important figure for Chacarita and has a hand in a lot of their key plays and goals. Potential target for other clubs but I'd risk selling him.

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats
    Ismael Quilez (RB/RM - 21) - 1(0) - 78 ---> 83 ---> 83 - KEEP/SELL
    Just one appearance in 2010, so no rise next time. Not my favourite young full-back in Argentina; maybe cash in.
    Alfredo Ramirez - (CM/AM - 23) - 1(2) - 82 ---> 85 ---> 85 - MAYBE SELL
    Has seen very little action this Clausura, being relegated to the subs bench. Can come back and hit a higher rating, but not much higher. No rise next time.
    Facundo Bertoglio (AM/Wing - 19) - 10(1) - 75 ---> 82 ---> 85 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Very talented kid with potential to become one of the top players in Argentina. Has to rise to 85/86 next time, and then further after that.
    Federico Nieto (CF - 26) - 6(4) - 85 ---> 87 ---> 87 - KEEP/SELL
    Might just have hit his maximum rating, although more 12-goal hauls like in the Apertura might see him surpass his current rating. Won't rise next time, should stay. Keep if 87 is good for your team; sell if you have better.

    Estudiantes:
    - currently 3rd

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats
    Damian Albil (GK - 30) - 2(0) - 77 ---> 84 ---> 82 - SELL
    Was always a stop-gap until Estu signed a number one 'keeper. They now have in the form of Agustin Orion, so Albil is back on the bench.
    Federico Fernandez (CB/RB - 21) - 4(0) - 78 ---> 80 ---> 82 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Plays when Estu put their reserves out to rest the first XI. Might see another small rise next time and is the future of the Estu defence. However, it could take a few years before he usurps any of the current first-teamers.
    Marcos Rojo (CB/LB - 20) - 4(6) - 75 ---> 80 --> 82 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Similar predicament to Fernandez, but possibly half a step ahead in the pecking order.
    Maximiliano Nunez (Wing/AM - 23) - 8(6) - 76 ---> 80 ---> 84 - KEEP
    Seeing a fair bit of action this term, although a sub for Estu's most important matches (Copa Libertadores). Will rise next time towards 83/84.
    Mauro Boselli - (CF - 24) - 13(1) - 88 ---> 89 ---> 89/90 - KEEP
    Absolute goal machine, with 12 in 12 starts in 2010. Could very well hit 90 next time, but he may just get snapped up in the Summer.

    Gimnasia La Plata:
    - currently 14th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Milton Casco (RB/LB - 21) - 1(0) - 75 ---> 78 ---> 78 - SELL
    Won't be rising next time and could GLP could be getting relegated.
    Luciano Aued (LM/CM - 23) - 9(0) - 75 ---> 82 ---> 82/84 - KEEP/SELL
    Very much depends on GLP's end to the season. If they stay up, Aued rises. If they go down, then he doesn't. If you have the patience, wait a couple of months to see what happens to them.
    Lucas Nahuel Castro (RM - 20) - 2(8) - 75 ---> 81 ---> 81 - SELL
    Same situation as Casco, although Castro has more chance of a rise if they stay up.
    Denis Stracqualursi (CF - 22) - 11(0) - 75 ---> 82 ---> 82/84 - KEEP/SELL
    Same situation as Aued, but I really like this guy. He has a bright future as an 86/87 CF in SM at the least in my opinion. Keep if you're patient.

    Godoy Cruz:
    - currently 2nd

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Ariel Rojas (CM/LM - 24) - 11(0) - 82 ---> 84 ---> 85/86 - KEEP
    A key figure for a Godoy side who are doing fantastically well in the Clausura. If they keep up their current form, then he'll hit the upper bracket of my prediction.
    Carlos Sanchez (CM/RM - 25) - 7(1) - 78 ---> 80 ---> 83 KEEP
    Has done well since joining from Uruguay and shall see a decent rise next time around.
    Jesus Vera (Fwd - 20) - 0(0) - 74 ---> 77 ---> 77 - MAYBE SELL
    Don't know what he's doing but he's not playing and a fair way down the pecking order.

    Huracan:
    - currently 9th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Gaston Monzon (GK - 22) - 11(0) - 83 ---> 84 ---> 84 - KEEP/SELL
    Nearing the limit of his short-term rating of 85/86. With age and experience he could go further but I'd seriously consider selling.
    Ezequiel Filippetto (CB/RB - 22) - 6(2) - 76 ---> 82 ---> 83 - KEEP/SELL
    Probably in line for a small rise next time, but it may very well be worth cashing in.
    Kevin Cura (CB/LB - 19) - 0(2) - 77 ---> 79 ---> 79 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Shall not rise next time. Worth sticking with for now.
    Patricio Toranzo (AM/RM - 28) - 11(0) - 83 ---> 85 ---> 86 - KEEP
    Key player for Huracan and has already been linked with a Summer move to Independiente. Worth hanging on to.
    Luciano Nieto (Fwd - 19) - 2(7) - 75 ---> 78 ---> 80 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Still very young and very raw but a good prospect nonetheless.

    Independiente:
    - currently 1st

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Adrian Gabbarini (GK - 24) - 11(0) - 70 ---> 83 ---> 86 - KEEP
    Undisputed number one for El Rojo, and not a bad 'keeper either. Should hit 86 next time and can go further than that afterwards.
    Luciano Vella (RB/28) - 9(0) - 82 ---> 84 ---> 86 - KEEP/SELL
    Regular for Inde at RB but is a steady player at best - nothing special. Will probably rise to 86/85 next time, but sell if that's little benefit to you.
    Leonel Galeano (CB - 18) - 11(0) - 75 ---> 84 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Fantastic defender for his age and holds a big future. Will hit 86 mimimum next time and is a must to move to Europe eventually.
    Federico Mancuello (LM/CM - 21) - 7(0) - 83 ---> 85 ---> 86 - KEEP
    Good little player who could rise next time, but nothing more than to 86. Definately worth hanging on to, but maybe cash in to external in uncompetetive set-ups.
    Walter Busse (CM/AM - 23) - 7(0) - 82 ---> 85 ---> 85 - SELL
    Was a regular before he sustained a very serious injury against Chacarita, which will keep him out for much of the rest of 2010. Can't see him rising at all in the next two changes, possibly even dropping.
    Patricio Rodriguez (AM/Fwd - 19) - 0(8) - 77 ---> 82 ---> 82 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Great talent but is being bedded in very slowly - no starts in the Clausura. Still has a lot of work to do before fulfilling his huge potential.
    Dario Gandin (CF - 26) - 11(0) - 85 ---> 87 ---> 87/88 - KEEP/SELL
    First choice for Inde and a frequent goalscorer. If he can end the Clausura strongly, he could very well see a rise to 88. At worst, a very solid 87 but you could sell if you have better prospects.

    Lanus:
    - currently 12th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats
    Agustin Marchesin (GK - 21) - 14(0) - 76 ---> 82 ---> 85 - KEEP
    Not my favourite 'keeper, but he is still young and learning his trade. Regular in the league and the Copa Libertadores and on course to hit 85/86 next time around.
    Hernan Grana (RB - 24) - 9(2) - 80 ---> 84 ---> 86 - KEEP
    Good full-back and now the undisputed first-choice at RB. Should hit 86 next time and then potentially 87/88 in the future.
    Cristian Menendez (Fwd - 22) - 3(6) - 78 ---> 82 ---> 82/83 - KEEP/SELL
    Not figuring as much as he did in the Apertura, so no noticable rise next time. Patience needed.
    Gonzalo Castillejos (CF - 24) - 8(6) - 76 ---> 83 ---> 85 - KEEP/SELL
    In and out of the Lanus side but starts their most important games (Copa Libertadores). Might get a small rise next time, but nothing more than 85/84. Not the greatest player but he could hit 86/87 if you're patient.

    Newell's Old Boys:
    - currently 11th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats
    Nahuel Roselli (RB/RM - 24) - 6(1) - 80 ---> 83 ---> 83 - SELL
    Not starting as much in 2010, stays next time around.
    Juan Insaurralde (CB - 25) - 11(0) - 85 ---> 87 ---> 87 - KEEP/SELL
    Good defender who had a great Apertura, but has probably seen his max for a good while yet. Sell/trade if you have better and don't need him.
    Alexis Machuca (CB - 19) - 2(1) - 70 ---> 83 ---> 83 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Not regularly starting now, so no rise next time. Potential to take over as first-choice CB in the future, as well as a move to Europe.
    Ignacio Fideleff (CB - 20) - 1(0) - 77 ---> 80 ---> 80 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    No rise next time but a first-teamer in the future (possibly when Schiavi retires).
    Pablo Franco Dolci (RM/CM - 26) - 6(2) - 78 ---> 82 ---> 83 - MAYBE SELL
    Could see another small rise next time, but nothing to really shout about. I'd cash in, personally.
    Mauro Formica (AM/Fwd - 21) - 12(0) - 84 ---> 86 ---> 86/87 - KEEP
    Nearing his maximum level at Newell's (87, maybe 88). Too intriguing a talent to sell right now, with faint interest from abroad.
    Joaquin Boghossian (CF - 22) - 11(0) - 80 ---> 85 ---> 86 - KEEP/SELL
    The revelation of the Apertura is finding it tougher in the Clausura. Should still get another small rise next time, but he's calmed since exploding into Argentina. Possible move to Europe in the summer.

    Racing Club:
    - currently 15th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Jorge De Olivera (GK - 27) - 11(0) - 75 ---> 82 ---> 85 - KEEP
    Certain number one in goal and is a decent 'keeper as well. Should rise to 85ish next time if Racing stay up, which they should do.
    Brian Lluy (RB/RM) - 7(0) - 78 ---> 82 ---> 84 - KEEP
    Not an undisputed first-choice just yet but he sees a fair bit of action. Can rise to 83/84 next time, worth hanging on to for now.
    Matias Martinez (CB - 22) - 6(0) - 82 ---> 84 ---> 85 - KEEP
    Was dropped when Ayala came in but has now won his place back. If Racing survive, he's rising again and has potential to go further.
    Lucas Aveldano (CB - 24) - 10(0) - 83 ---> 84 ---> 85 - KEEP
    A near ever-present this season. If Racing stay up, should see a similar rise next time around, if that's good for you. Can go further in the future.
    Sebastian Grazzini (AM - 29) - 0(6) - 76 ---> 80 ---> 80 - SELL
    Just six sub appearances in 2010, get rid.

    River Plate:
    - currently 16th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Maximiliano Coronel (CB - 20) - 1(1) - 80 ---> 82 ---> 82 - KEEP/SELL
    Barely figuring in 2010, will stay next time. Better young, defensive prospects out there.
    Rodrigo Rojas (AM/RM - 21) - 10(0) - 83 ---> 84 ---> 85 - KEEP
    Has been a regular since arriving from Olimpia, but hasn't been the answer to River's problems thus far. Will probably get another small rise next time.
    Mauro Alberto Diaz (AM/Wing - 19) - 1(4) - 82 ---> 83 ---> 83 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Won't be rising next time but can slowly develop into a starter in the future. Can sell in uncompetetive set-ups.
    Gustavo Bou (RM/AM - 20) - 0(3) - 78 ---> 80 ---> 80 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Similar predicament to Mauro Diaz above.
    Daniel Villalba (Fwd/AM - 17) - 5(4) - 72 ---> 80 ---> 82 - ***MUST KEEP***
    In and out of the side and not wowing the world just yet, but has bags of potential. Will see another small rise next time, but patience is needed here.

    Rosario Central:
    - currently 19th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Hernan Galindez (GK - 23) - 11(0) - 74 ---> 78 ---> 82 - KEEP
    Still deputising while Broun recovers from a serious injury. Will rise into the low 80's next time, but shall likely retreat to the bench as soon as Broun returns.
    Guillermo Burdisso (CB - 21) - 10(0) - 82 ---> 86 ---> 86 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Already capped by Argentina and a move to Italy in the Summer is inevitable, with Lazio being strongly linked. Potentially 88/89 within a couple of changes.
    Nahuel Valentini (CB/RB - 20) - 7(2) - 75 ---> 80 ---> 82/83 - KEEP
    Already supassed the number of starts he had in the Apertura, so set for another rise.
    Gervasio Nunez (LM/LB - 22) - 10(0) - 82 ---> 84 ---> 85/84 - KEEP/SELL
    One of Central's better performers this season for me. Potential rise may be dependent on Rosario staying up or not.
    Jonathan Gomez (RM/CM - 20) - 9(0) - 77 ---> 84 ---> 85/84 - KEEP/SELL
    Talented kid but has several flaws to his game. Rosario in danger of relegation which could affect a potential small rise.
    Mario Paglialunga (CM/DM - 21) - 10(0) - 82 ---> 84 ---> 85/84 - KEEP/SELL
    Has been a near ever-present this season but part of a struggling Central side in the Clausura. Faint European interest from average sides.
    Lucas Moya (Wing/Fwd - 23) - 1(0) - 72 ---> 80 ---> 80 - SELL
    Nothing special, pure money-spinner for me.

    San Lorenzo:
    - currently 17th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Pablo Migliore (GK - 28) - 11(0) - 84 ---> 86 ---> 86 - KEEP/SELL
    Solid 'keeper and a solid 86.
    Pablo Pintos (RB/RM - 22) - 9(0) - 84 ---> 86 ---> 86 - KEEP
    Very good player who can rise again in the future, just not next time.
    Sebastian Emanuel Gonzalez (Wing/Fwd - 18) - 3(4) - 75 ---> 78 ---> 81 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Slowly working his way into the side and shall see another small rise next time. Exciting prospect.
    Fabian Bordagaray (Fwd/Wing - 23) - 8(3) - 76 ---> 82 ---> 84 - KEEP
    Regular but lacks goals to add to his resume. Shall probably hit 84ish next time for a goal-shy San Lorenzo.

    Tigre:
    - currently 8th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps) - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    Maxi Oliva (LB/CB - 20) - 4(3) - 74 ---> 80 ---> 80 - PATIENTLY KEEP
    Promising young defender who has appeared for the Argie youths in the past. Has had his Clausura cut short through injury so he shall not rise next time.
    Carlos Fondacaro (LB/RB - 22) - 0(0) - 75 ---> 78 ---> 78 - MAYBE SELL
    Still on loan from Boca Juniors I believe and, although he's not currently playing right now, I'd be a little bit reluctant to sell him. Maybe wait until next season and then get rid.
    Lucas Oviedo (RM - 24) - 0(1) - 77 ---> 80 ---> 80 - MAYBE SELL
    Can't tell you a whole lot about this guy because I don't recall seeing much of him in the past. Peripheral figure this Clausura, so maybe get rid.

    Velez Sarsfield:
    - currently 4th

    Key: Name (Position - Age) - 2010 starts(sub apps)* - previous rating - current rating - next rating - verdict
    * - 2010 stats include Clausura stats and Copa Libertadores stats
    Gaston Diaz (RB/RM - 22) - 9(2) - 83 ---> 86 ---> 86/87 KEEP
    Really like this kid and he can sew up the RB spot for some time to come. Depending on how far Velez go in the Copa Libertadores, he has a decent shot at a rise to 87 next time.
    Nicolas Otamendi (CB/RB - 22) - 8(0) - 86 ---> 88 ---> 89 - ***MUST KEEP***
    Not a lot to say. Fantastic defender, Argentine international and a dead-cert to be starting at the WC in the summer (barring injury). Move to Europe inevitable and his Madrid-based agent gives you a clue as to where he's headed.
    Franco Razzotti (DM/CB - 25) - 5(4) - 85 ---> 87 ---> 87 - KEEP/SELL
    Decent enough player but he's very much the squad player this Clausura. A solid 87 for the next couple of changes unless he gets a bad injury.
    Jonathan Cristaldo (Fwd - 21) - 0(1) - 85 ---> 86 ---> 86 - KEEP/SELL
    Good, young striker with potential for the future, but he'll level out as an 86 for a while now. With the arrival of Silva, he's quite a way down the pecking order in 2010.
    Santiago Tanque Silva (CF - 29) - 9(3) - 87 ---> 88 ---> 89 - KEEP
    Scoring goals for fun once more in the Clausura, just like he did in the Apertura. Should have gotten his 89 last time around; he'll certainly get it this time.

    After the checking the amount of comments in the main thread (despite my efforts to avoid having them there) and PM's both through the forum and in-game, I decided to create this thread so that you can post your questions here, along with praise, insults (be careful if you stick in this route though ), and basically just general discussion about Portuguese football. So basically, if you have a tiny doubt over the Portuguese league and it's players, post here and I'll reply ASAP. Cheers guys!

    Francisco Maza Rodriguez- 88 -87
    Andre Ooijer- 88 -88

    Dirk Marcellis- 88 -88/87

    Midfielders
    Funso Ojo- 75 -78
    Balasz Dzsudzsak- 88 -89/90
    Stanislav Manolev- 84 -87
    Orlando Engelaar- 89 -89
    Haibin Zhou- 82 -83
    Timmy Simons- 90 -89
    Ibrahim Affelay- 90 -90/91
    Stijn Wuytens- 82 -84
    Otman Bakkal- 88 -88/89
    Strikers
    Nordin Amrabat- 86 -87
    Ola Toivonen- 86 -88
    Danko Lazovic- 89 -89
    Danny Koevermans- 89 -89/90
    Stefan Niljand- 84 -85
    Reis Jonathan 77 -80
    Who To Buy?
    Stijn Wuytens played 13 games on loan at De Graafschap last season at only 19 years old this player has lots of potential! Has already made a couple of substitute appearances this season, which should help him to get to around 84 come the next rating changes. Has the potential to get to 90+ when he is older.
    Stanislav Manolev arrived from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia. Can play Midfield or Defence has started in 5 of the first 6 Eridivisie matches plus two European Matches. Got 2 assists in the 3-1 against NAC Breda. He is keeping Jan Krompkamp out of the team. The 23 year old has 6 Bulgarian caps. Should rise by at least 2 in the next changes. With the potential to reach 90+ in the future!
    Balasz Dzsudzsak has the potential to become a world class winger. He has plenty of goals in him and has already netted 3 this season for PSV. Also provides plenty of assists, is now cementing his place in the starting 11, should go up by 1 or 2 in the next changes. However if he wants to get to 92+ he needs to move to a bigger club! Has made it big at international level with 19 caps!
    One To Watch
    Funso Ojo is an 18 year old defensive midfielder/defender who made his PSV debut in May last season against Willem II. Has made 1 substitute appearance for PSV this season against Bnei Yehuda in the Europa League Qualifying stages! Rated 75 if he gets a couple more substitute appearances will go up to 77/78. Definitely a star to watch in the future!
    Who Not To Buy
    Jan Krompkamp not getting as much first team football as he would have liked with the signings of Ooijer and Manolev. Rated 88 might just survive the next rating increases without dropping in rating if he is lucky but will probably go down to 87!

    Re: DutchEredivisieRatings
    Starting with my favourite team AJAX AMSTERDAM
    GK---Maarten Stekelenburg----------27-90------/+-0/ Doing very well at the squad always number 1 GK in starting 11 in contrast with last year under Marco van Basten. I think deserves a 91 but SM will not do that in my opinion.
    GK---Kenneth Vermeer--------------24-85-------/+-0/ Promising keeper behind Maarten Stekelenburg. If Stekelenburg leaves ajax has his replacement already with Vermeer. Actually to good to be a stand in. Today Started against Az Alkmaar (1-0) Keeped the clean sheet.
    Gk---Jeroen Verhoeven------------29-79-------/+-0/ 2nd Back up no more no less.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    LB---Thimothee Atouba-----27-87-----/-1/ Played 1 eredivisie match in the beginning of the season is now injured. Transferfree from HSV don't think this lad is gonna make it. Anita plays now on his position
    LB/CB-Christian Supusepa--21-75-------/+-0/Plays his games in Ajax'2nd team and often is in that team a benchkisser. An unknown player with in my opinion no Ajax 1 future.
    RB/CB-Gregory van der Wiel--21-88----/+1/+-0/--Regular in the starting 11 of both Ajax and Holland squad. Promising youngster already linked with Manchester City. Only 21 and in my opinion deserves the +1.
    RB--George Ogararu---29-86----/-1/--No future at Ajax. Hopefully he leaves the club this transfer period. Played no games in Eredivisie.
    CB--Rob Wielaert----31-88----/-1/--Lost his place after the classic Psv-Ajax(4-3) after that match didn't play for Ajax1. Linked with moves to Hollands subtop clubs.
    CB/RB-Presas Oleguer---29-87-----/+-0/--Same story as Wielaert but played in the dutch cup and 1 match in the eredisie. You can say he deserves a -1 but i think SM will hold it at 87.
    CB/RB-Toby Alderweireld---20-85------/+2/--For sure a guy with talents and a certainty in Jol's starting 11. But he has to work at his defensive skills sometimes a but sloppy buth for sure a +2 and little chance at +3 right now.
    DEF/DM-Jan Vertonghen---22-88-----/+1/Actually same as Toby Alderweireld but is 2 years older than Toby and you can see that in the games in my opinion a +1 but i thought that also last rating changes but i think Sm will keep it at 88.
    LM/LB-Urby Emanuelson---23-89----/+-0/ Very Solid 89.Positional change to LM/W.
    CM/RM-Demy de Zeeuw---26-90----/+-0 Ajax missing link comparing with last season. Ajax bought him from AZ. Certainty at ajax but at the holland squad he has to fight for it with for sure heavy competition with hollands top midfielders.
    CM/AM-Ismael Aissati---21-87----/+-0/Plays a lot at Ajax but can't convince me. I saw him a few years ago playing for Psv in the champions league and i thought Waaauw. But at Ajax he is invisible. Think a stay is good for him maybe if you look at the stats SM will raise him by 1 to 88.Positional chane to CM/LM.
    CM/RM-Garcia Gabri---30-87----/+-0/Injured and gets more and more competition on his spot. right now a stay is the best option but i think that he will lose his place.
    CM/DM-Eyong Enoh...23-86....../+2/+1/-Plays a lot at ajax. They took him from the satelite club Ajax Cape Town. This season surprisingly consistent. Right now at Africa Cup with Cameroon. He has to fight for a place in the starting 11 of Cameroon.
    CM--Siem de Jong---20-86----/+-0/ Overall seen a gifted player. He is a victim of the fierce competition at the CM position. Think a very good player but is not gonna make it at AJax. But maybe im wrong he is only 20 year so we''ll have to see what he will do.
    DM/CM-Rasmus Lindgren----25-87----/-1/--The Joker of the team. In the first half of the season didn't play a eredivisie match. Last 2 matches in the starting 11. What is it? Pure class since Januari? Or the Abscence of Enoh? think the last option.
    DM/LB-Vurnon ANita----20-83------/+3/---The little man at the left flank of ajax. Although he is 1.63 he starts very often at the lb position and does this well. How good he is i don't know right now, is gifted but has to develop to become very very good. but right now a +3 is fair for him. Positional Change to LB/DM i think.
    AM/RM-Mitchell DOnald---20-77----/+3/+4/---Sometimes gets some time at the pitch but same story as anita has to play more before i can see how good he really is(or how bad). But for now a rise for sure.
    W/F--Dennis Rommedahl--31-87-----/+-0/---A useful player for ajax no more no less. Is at his end of his career but plays very decent at ajax. Think 87 is underrated for him and deserves the 88 like he had, but SM will not do that.
    W---Kennedy Bakircioglu-----29-87---/+-0/---In my opinion a very very awful players he needs to go -4 but sm will let him stay at 87 because he sometimes makes some minutes. Hope he leaves ajax soon. Really not my cup of tea.
    W/F--Marvin Zeegelaar---19-75---Plays mainly at ajax2----saw him a few times think he will make it one day at ajax1 but it is hard to tell right now. +-0
    F----Luis Suarez-----23-90----Deserves the 91. Absolute **** that SM didn't let him rise last time. If you see the how important he is for ajax not only in the eredivisie but also in europe. Not only with his goals and assists but also his actions on the field. Number 1 starter for Uruguay. You can say what you want but the placed themselves for the WC. I really would like to invite everybody to watch the games ajax-juventus and juventus-ajax. Their you can see wath i mean against some very good defenders. In my opinion a +2 at least a +1 but SM will let him stay.
    F/W---Miralem Sulejmani----21-88/-1/-----The wonderkid of 16.25 million euro's really can't catch his form. Hopefully he will do that soon but for this time a -1.
    CF--Marko Pantelic----31-90----A gamble from Jol but a good gamble right now. Is doing better and better and will stay at 90 i think.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Loaned out:
    Daley Blind---19-75---loaned out to FC Groningen a subtopper in Holland. Today his first match after The winterbreak. Direct in the starting 11. I think this lad will play a lot at groningen. And will end at the rating changes at a rating of 82/83. so a raise of 7 a 8.
    Javier Martina--22-74--Went to Haarlem on loan at Holland's 2nd competition.
    Maybe a small rise but this player has really no ajax1 future.
    Dario Cvitanich--25-88---Back 2 south america on loan. I think a decent player but no more no less. think a -1.
    Bruno Silva-----29-86---Also back to south america. No future at ajax what we saw in the first season half. Will leave ajax soon permanently.
    Evander SNo----22-84---Not good enough for Ajax.How does he do it at bristol city?
    Jeffrey Sarpong---21-82---Went to Nec Nijmegen on loan. Good player plays there his games think a rise to 84.Has Ajax Potential.
    Darko Bodul----21-77----went to sparta. Plays very often but really doesn't score enough. a rise to 80/81. Think has an ajax future.
    Jan-Arie van der Heijden-----21-75----Went to WIllem2. Plays a lot a rise to 80/79 i think. They alwas said that he will become a great one. Slowly needs to excel.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    New Signing Nicolas Lodeiro 20-84? has to show what he is worth in holland. Some South American Experts who can tell me that?
    Christian Eriksen this is the lad who made his debute against NAC Breda in the starting 11 last week. Only 17 years old. Is gonna be a worldstar. SNap him immediately when he comes on Database. Ajax had competition from Manchester united arsenal milan etc.
    Ze EDuardo also a youngster with a lot of talents 18 years old but has to make his debute still for ajax.

    Vorxstiengort reacted to Aitken123 in 2009 Japanese League Ratings Thread
    G'day Everyone
    Ok so the J-League is finished for the year and Kashima Antlers have made it theirs for the 3rd year running, I lived in Japan for awhile and have kept an eye on the league ever since, as such I have decided to try and predict the ratings. This is my first ever rating thread, I have assumed that the Japanese Leagues Rating cap is 87, and worked from there. I have done it in order starting with the 2009 Champions. All critism is welcome and any help greatly appreciated.
    The teams will be done in this order:
    Kashima Antlers
    Kawasaki Frontale
    Gamba Osaka
    Sanfrecce Hiroshima
    FC Tokyo
    Urawa Red Diamonds
    Shimizu S-Pulse
    Ablirex Niigata
    Nagoya Grampus Eight
    Yokohama F Marinos
    Jubilo Iwata
    Kyoto Sanga FC
    Omiya Ardija
    Vissel Kobe
    Montedio Yamagata
    Kashiwa Reysol
    Oita Trinita
    JEF United Chiba
    Format
    Player Name - Position - SM Rating - Age - Predicted Rating
    Green = Riser
    Red = Dropper
    Black = Stay (or Uncertain)
    Bold Green = Potentially Good Riser (3+)

    Vorxstiengort reacted to PhilipM in Probable risers from Serie B and Segunda division
    Probable Risers- Hope this helps
    This is a review of the Italian Serie B as well as the Segunda division in Spain. I know that it is still early to make such a review and it is not certain whether these players may rise. However, I don’t have much time to spare over the next few months as I’ll be enlisting into the army on Friday and will not have Internet access for the next 2-3 mths.
    I thought that I should contribute something to the SM community before I enter army. The stats will be based on the games played till last week. So here goes…
    As this is my first time doing a predictions thread, it will surely not be as accurate as those done by the experts. Do remember to take this with a pinch of salt.
    1)Name: Guido MARILUNGO +5/6
    Club : Lecce (1st in serie Current rating: 76
    Position: CF Age: 20
    Guido is a Sampdoria player on loan to Lecce. He has scored 4 goals in 12 games, 9 of which are starts out of a possible 16 games. Considering that the other strikers in Lecce, Defendi, Baclet and Corvia have similar goals- to- game ratio yet rated higher than Marilungo, A +4 rise should be the minimum. For those interested, Marilungo was first mentioned here, http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=35864
    2) Emanuele TERRANOVA +1/2
    Club: Lecce Current rating: 80
    Position: cb Age: 22
    Terranova is a Lecce player who has started 9 games and made 1 substitute appearance out of 16 games. It’s not clear whether he has secured the starting spot aside Schiavi, but Terranova should get a rise of +1 at the very least.
    3)Name: Gianluca MUSACCI +6/7
    Club: Empoli( 3rd in Serie Current rating: 75
    Postion: cm/lm age: 22
    Musacci is plying his trade for Serie B side Empoli, he has established himself as a starter for the team despite being 22 yrs old. Musacci has made 12 appearances out of a possible 15 games. Since the first choice midfielders have ratings from 82-85, It is highly possible that Musacci will get a +6/7 rise.
    Musacci was first mentioned by Gozgozzy here http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=756272&highlight=musacci#post756272
    4) Name: Alessandro Vinci +6/5
    Club: Empoli Currrent rating: 77
    Positon: rb age:22
    Vinci is the first choice rb for Empoli and has made 10starts out of a possible 15 games. AS the first choice defenders are rated 84 and 85, Vinci should be getting a +6/5 rise
    5) Name: Gabriele ANGELLA +6/5
    Club: Empoli Current rating: 77
    Postion: cb/dm age: 20
    Angella managed to establish himself as the first choice cb alongside Kokoszka and has started 13 games out of 15. As mentioned, the first choice defenders are rated 84 and 85, so it is likely that Angella will rise by +6/5
    6) Name: Massimo VOLTA +2/3
    Club: Cesena (4th in Serie Current rating: 80
    Position: cb age: 22
    After transferring from Vicenza to Cesena, Volta has settled in perfectly, establishing himself as a starter and relegating veteran defender Franceshini to the bench. He has started 15 out of 16 games this season. Considering that Franceshini is 83 rated and Petras, who is the cb alongside Volta is 84 rated, Volta would most probably rise by 2/3
    7) Name: Ezequiel Matías SCHELOTTO +5/6
    Club: Cesena current rating: 75
    Position: rm/w age: 20
    Schelotto is a new addition to Cesena. He has integrated well and is the first choice rm for the team. He has made 14 starts and 1 substitute appearance, scoring 4 goals. He should rise by 5/6 since the highest rated midfielder is 80 and average rating is 77. Schelotto was first mentioned on the forum by liverpool_ rule here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=813481
    8)Name: Aiman Napoli +8-10
    Club: Modena(5th in Serie current rating: 69
    Positon: fwd age 20
    Napoli is an Internazionale player loaned out to Modena. He has played well for his team and certainly deserves more than his current rating. Napoli has started 8 out of 16 possible games and has 5 substitute appearances, along with 1 goal. Napoli should be awarded with a +8-10 considering that the highest rated fwd is 84 and that he has played more than the other fwds in the team other than the highest rated fwd, Salvatore Bruno
    Napoli was first mentioned by JinxMillion here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=754377
    9) Andrea CATELLANI +1/2
    Club: Modena Current rating :78
    Position: fwd age 21
    Catellani is most probably the 3rd choice striker beind Salvatore Bruno and Aiman Napoli. He has started 7 games and has 4 substitute appearances this season. Also, he has scored 3 times already, making him the second highest scorer behind Bruno. He should get a decent rise to 80. He has been mentioned by draga9 here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=622807
    10) Paolo Ricchi +2/1
    Club: Modena Current rating: 76
    Position: rb age: 22
    Ricchi is playing for Modena, he has not been able to establish himself as a starter but he should be able to rise by 1 or 2 given that he has made 8 starts and 1 sub appearance out of 16 possible games. The average rating for the first choice defenders is 80 and so Ricchi should be able to rise a little.
    11) Angelo OGBONNA +2/3
    Club: Torino Current rating: 80
    Position: cb/lb age: 21
    Ogbonna seems to have established himself as a starter in Torino. With the average rating of the first team defenders being 84, it is likely that Ogbonna will rise by 2/3
    Ogbonna was first mentioned by pompeyfc here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=409758&highlight=ogbonna#post409758
    12) Name: Nicola Rigoni +7/6
    Club: Vicenza(7th in Serie Current rating: 72
    Position: dm/cm age: 20
    Rigoni is a Palermo owned player on loan to Vicenza this season. Rigoni has played the 3rd most amongst the midfielders at Vicenza, starting ahead of the likes of Passiglia and Bernardini who are rated much higher than him. He has started 7 times and made 4 sub appperances out of a possible 16. He’ll most likely rise by 7/6. Rigoni was first mentioned by Jinx Million here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=756185 By Gozgozzy: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showpost.php?p=756204&postcount=10
    13) Name: Francesco SIGNORI +3
    Club :Vicenza Current rating:77
    Position: cm/lm age: 21
    Signori is another young midfielder who has secured his place in the starting lineup. He has played 13 times this season, 10 of which are starts. A +3 rise to 80 is likely in my opinion.
    14) Name: Claudio Pani +2/3
    Club: Triestina (8th in Serie Current rating: 79
    Position: cm/dm Age: 23
    Pani has been in resurgent form this season, reestablishing himself as a starter in the midfield. Pani has 8 starts and 3 sub appearances out of a possible of 16 games. He is likely to rise to 80/1 given that he is now a starter alongside Tabbiani, Testini and Gissi who are rated 81-82
    15)Name: Jonathan ROSSINI +2
    Club : Sassuolo (9th in Serie Current rating : 76
    Position: cb/lb age: 20
    Rossini moved from Cittadella to Sassuolo this season, he is more of a bench player making 7 appearances ( out of 15), 5 of which are starts. Also, he managed to score a goal. The situation at Sassuolo is that Piccioni, Minelli and Gorzegno are the first choice defence while the other defenders are being used sparingly. If Rossini manages to continue playing till the Italian changes, a +2 rise should be coming his way.
    16) Name: Gianluigi BIANCO +2
    Club: Sassuolo Current rating: 76
    Position: cb age: 20
    Bianco moved from Empoli to Sassuolo this season, Bianco is also a backup to the first-choice defence. He has 10 apperances, 6 of which are starts. Similar to Rossini, Bianco should get a +2 rise if he carrries on till the Italian changes
    17) Name: Edgar Cani +1/2
    Club: Padova (10th in Serie Current rating: 78
    Position: CF age: 20
    Cani moved to Padova from Ascoli this season and he has played 15 times this season, 8 of them being starts. However, he has scored only 2 goals. Provided that Cani scores more goals, he should rise to 79/80
    18)Name: Migjen BASHA +1/2
    Club: Frosinone (11th in Serie Current rating: 80
    Position: dm/cm age: 22
    Basha ‘s footballing career started at Rimini, an Italian club which was relegated last season. After Rimini’s relegation, Basha moved to Frosinone. He has started all games for Frosinone this season, only the goalkeeper and defender Bocchetti have done so for the team. As the average rating of the midfielders is 81(amongst those who start), Basha may get a rise to 81/2 Basha had been mentioned on the forum here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=419472&highlight=basha#post419472 http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=528908&highlight=basha#post528908
    19) Sebasatian De Maio +6/5
    Club: Brescia current rating: 72
    Position: def age: 22
    De Maio has played 10 times for Brescia, 9 of which are starts. This is already much more than 2 times of the minutes he had played for the previous 2 seasons. De Maio is not a starter for the team yet, but with the minutes that he’s racking up, a +6/5 rise is possible De Maio has been mentioned on the forum: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showpost.php?p=755311&postcount=2
    20) Name: Andrea RISPOLI +2
    Club: Brescia current rating: 80
    Position: rb/lb age: 21
    Rispoli has started 11 games and came on twice as a sub for Brescia this season. Rispoli seems to have secured a starting role at Brescia this season, furthermore, he has also 2 goals to his name. Amonst the starters(defenders), Rispoli has the lowest rating. I believe that this should warrant him a +2 rise
    21) Name: Matteo ARDEMAGNI +2/3
    Club: Cittadella (14th in Serie Current rating: 78
    Position: fwd age: 22
    After transferring from Triestina, Ardemagni has settled well, establishing himself as the first choice striker alongside Iunco, Considering that Iunco has a rating of 84, Ardemagni should have a rise to 80/1 since he has 12starts, 2 sub appearances out of a possible 16 games as well as 3 goals to his name.
    22) Name: Leonardo PETTINARI +2/3
    Club: Cittadella Current rating: 77
    Position: w/fwd age: 23
    Pettinari is an attacking player plying his trade for Cittadella. Pettinari has made 13 starts and 2 sub appearance out of 16 possible starts. He has also scored thrice in the time span. Pettinari should rise by 2 since the average rating for the midfielders are 79 and that he has outperformed them.
    23) Name: Ayub Daud +3
    Club: Crotone(15th in Serie current rating: 74
    Position: wing age: 19
    Ayub daud is a Juventus player on loan to Crotone this season. He has played 10 times(out of a possible 16), 6 of which are starts. It seems like Daud is in a direct competition with the 78 rated Petrilli for a starting position, As long as Daud continues playing, he should get a +3 rise. Daud has been mentioned on the forum already: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=39794&highlight=ayub+daud
    24) Elia LEGATI +5
    Club: Crotone Current rating : 75
    Postion : rb/cb age: 23
    Legati is a rb playing for Crotone. It appears that Legati has been moved to the centre, displacing veteran defender Pedotti from the starting lineup. Legati is a starter for Crotone, starting 15 times out of 16 possible games. This should warrant a +5 rise considering that the first-choice defence has a rating of 81 at the minimum.
    25) Name : Marco D'Alessandro +6/5
    Club: Grosetto (16th in Serie Current rating: 74
    Position: fwd age: 18
    D’Alessandro is on loan from Roma. He has become a starter for the team, playing 12 times( out of a possible 15), 11 of which are starts. Also, he has scored once. Provided that D’Alessandro scores more, a +6 rise is possible D’Alessandro has been mentioned on the forum: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=46111&highlight=Marco+D%27Alessandro
    26) Name: Francesco BINI +3/2
    Club: Piacenza( 18th in Serie Current rating: 75
    Position: lb age: 20
    Bini is plying his trade for Piacenza. It appears that Bini has took over from Anaclerio, the first choice lb last season. He has made 7 starts out of 15 possible games. As long as Bini continues playing, he should get a +3 rise.
    27) Name: Marco CALDERONI +2/1
    Club: Piacenza Current rating: 78
    Position: CM age: 20
    Calderoni has made 9 starts and 1 sub appearance this season. It seems that he’s being used as a dm/cb instead of the usual CM spot. Following his +8 rise last season, Calderoni should get a +2 rise if he continues playing. Calderoni was mentioned on the forum here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=33205&highlight=Calderoni
    28) Name: Denis TONUCCI +2
    Club: Piacenza Current rating: 76
    Position: cb age: 21
    Tonucci is a centre back playing for Piacenza. Tonucci is part of the rotation going on at Piacenza, he has played 9 times, 8 of which are starts. Tonucci should get a +2 rise since he has played similar amounts compared to the other defenders that have higher rating than him.
    29) Name: Carlos RINCÓN +2
    Club: Piacenza Current rating: 79
    Position: rb/cb age: 22
    Rincon is playing for Piacenza this season. He is the only defender that has started close to every single game at Piacenza, starting 12 times and 1 sub appearance. I think that a +2 rsie will be reasonable since he has played more than the defenders rated high than him.
    30) Name: Simone GUERRA +4/3
    Club: Piacenza Current Rating: 74
    Position: fwd age: 20
    Guerra is a forward playing for Piacenza. Last season, he only made 9 appearances. He has played 7 times, starting 6 of those games and scoring a goal this season. Also, he is playing more than Guzaman(82) and Simon(80). Due to the lack of goals, he might get a +4/3 rise.
    31) Name: Tommaso BIANCHI +1
    Club: Piacenza Current Rating: 79
    Position: cm/dm age: 20
    In the midfield, Bianchi has established himself as a starter for the team, alongside Radja NAINGGOLAN(82). Bianchi has played more than Wolf(80) and uzman(82). I think that he might get a rise to 80
    32) Name: Luigi GIORGI +2/3
    Club: Ascoli (19th in Serie Current rating: 77
    Position: rm/cm Age: 22
    Giorgi has been playing for Ascoli for a couple of seasons already. This season, it appears that Di Donato(82) is out of favour and Giorgi has been playing as a cm rather than a rm. Giorgi managed to play 13 times( out of 16 games), 12 of which are starts. If this continues, a +2/3 rise is possible since the first choice midfield have an average rating of 83.
    33) Name: Dario BERGAMELLI +1/2
    Club: AlbinoLeffe (20th in Serie Current Rating: 77
    Position: cb Age: 22
    Bergamelli is a defender for AlbinoLeffe. Bergamelli has played 8 times, 7 of which are starts. He’s used sparingly and is a backup to the first-choice defence. If Bergamelli continues to play till the Italian changes, he should get a decent rise to 79/8
    34) Name: Simone SALVIATO +3/4
    Club : Mantova( 21st in Serie Current rating: 77
    Position: rb/cb age: 22
    Salviato has taken over from veteran defender SACCHETT this season. Salviato is currently the first choice rb, starting 12 games and having 2 sub appearances as well as scoring a goal. As the first choice defence has an average rating of 82, a +3/4 rise should be reasonable.
    35) Name: Antoine GRIEZMANN +5/6
    Club: Real Sociedad (1st in Segunda) Current rating: 74
    Position: wing/fwd Age: 18
    Griezmann is a winger playing for Real Sociedad. He has established himself as a starter for the team, appearing in 13 out of 15 games this season, starting 9 of them. He has managed to score 4 goals as well. With the average rating of the first choice midfielders being 81, it is likely that he’ll rise by 5/6. Griezmann has been mentioned by UTR here http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=52298
    36)Name: Imanol AGIRRETXE +1/2
    Club: Real Sociedad Current rating: 78
    Position: CF age: 22
    Agirretxe is the first choice striker for Sociedad. He has 5 goals to his name, making him the top scorer for the team. Agirretxe has started 11 games and came on as a sub twice. Although he is the highest rated striker along with 2 other forwards, I believe that Agirretxe should get a +1/2 rise if he continues scoring.
    37) Name: F. Kiko +2
    Club: Hercules (2nd in Segunda) Current rating: 72
    Position: rb/rm Age: 18
    Kiko is just a fringe player for Hercules, he has come on as a substitute 10 times this season. As he has a low rating, I believe that he should get a +2 rise
    38) Name: Thiago Carleto +2/1
    Club Elche(6th in Segunda) Current rating: 75
    Position: lb age: 20
    Carleto has been mentioned before on the forum, he is currently loaned out from Valencia to Elche. Carleto has played only 8 games (out of 15 possible games), starting 3 times and scoring 1 goal. Although these stats seem insignificant, I believe that so long as he maintains this rate, Carleto should be able to rise by 2/1 when the Spanish changes come. Here’s the thread that mentioned about him: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=712187&highlight=carleto#post712187
    39) Name: Mubarak WAKASO +2/1
    Club: Elche Curent rating: 75
    Position: lm/am age: 19
    Wakaso is a left sided player at Elche. Similar to Carleto, he is just a fringe player at Elche, starting 5 times and being a sub twice. It is likely that he’ll rise by 2/1 if he continues this rate.
    40) Name: Jesús RUEDA +3
    Club: Cordoba (10th in Segunda) Current rating: 76
    Position: dm/cm age: 22
    Rueda is a starter for Cordoba, starting 13 times for the team and scoring a goal. He has been playing ahead of Cabrera who’s rated higher than him. Considering that Cordoba’s first-choice midfield has an average rating of 80, it is reasonable to expect a +3 rise for Rueda
    41) Name: Germán PACHECO +2/1
    Club: Rayo Vallecano Current rating: 75
    Postion: fwd Age: 18
    German Pacheco has been mentioned on the forum. Pacheco is on loan from Atletico Madrid, he has been a substitute for Rayo, playing 9 times, 2 as a starter and scoring only twice.Provided that Pacheco plays more, he should get a +2 rise. Here’s the thread on Pacheco http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=46831
    42) Name: Mateo MUSACCHIO +2
    Club: Villarreal B current rating: 77
    Position: cb/rb age: 18
    According to IM scouting, Musacchio is on loan from River Plate. He has featured in 10 of the 15 matches played this season, starting 8 of those matches. Musacchio is likely to rise by 2 if he manages to continue playing till the Spanish changes
    43) Name: Olivas KIKO +2/3
    Club: Villarreal B Current rating: 75
    Position: cb Age: 21
    Kiko has manage to establish himself as a starter in the team, starting 11 out of the 15 matches. Since the highest rated defender is 79, Kiko should get a +2/3 rise if he continues this fine form.
    Kiko has been mentioned by Dean89 here: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=50055
    44) Name: Pérez MARIO GASPAR +3/4
    Club: Villarreal B Current rating: 74
    Position: cb/rb age: 19
    I think that Mario Gaspar has been mentioned on the forum but I can’t find the thread on him( at least the one that provides real info..) Mario Gaspar is a starter for the team, starting 14 out of 15 games. At this rate, I believe that he’ll rise by 3/4
    45) Name: José RONDON +1/2
    Club: Las Palmas (14th in Segunda) Current rating: 80
    Position: CF age: 20
    Jose Rondon is a striker playing for Las Palmas. He is being rotated with the strikers to partner veteran striker Marquez. As long as Rondon can start scoring goals, I believe that he can rise to 81/2
    46) Name: Ion ECHAIDE +3/4
    Club: Huesca (16th in Segunda) Current Rating: 74
    Position: lb age: 21
    Echaide is a defender at Huesca. He has scored 1 goal while starting 9 games and coming on once as a sub. This makes him the 4th most played defender in the team, as the average rating of the first-choice defenders is 80, Echaide should rise by 3/4
    47)Name: Novegil HUGO MALLO +7
    Club: Celta Vigo Current rating: 74
    Position: rb/lb age:18
    Hugo Mallo has established himself as a starter for Cleta Vigo, displacing Vasco Fernandes(84) as the first-choice rb. Since the average rating of the first-choice defence is 83, only a rise to 80 would justify Hugo Mall’s performance.
    48) Name: Aspas IAGO +3/2
    Club: Celta Vigo Current rating: 76
    Position: fwd age: 22
    Iago has replaced Arthuro(84,) becoming the first choice striker this season and making 12 starts and 1 sub appearance while scoring 2 goals. A +3/2 rise is likely since the average rating for the first choice strikers is 82.
    We’ve finally come to the end of the review, like i said earlier, I’m still a novice when it comes to player predictions. The predicted changes may be over or under-estimated so do pardon me if the changes are inaccurate. Also, I don’t claim to have found any of these players as some of them have been mentioned on individual threads, I’m unable to find all these threads, so let me know if there are threads that I’ve not mentioned…
    Thanks for the time and hopefully everybody benefits from this

    Preface (Please read)

    This is my first attempt at predicting ratings at such an extensive level and at making a list of player statistics/ratings, so I apologize for any mistakes beforehand, large and small.
    I made this thread purely for my own pleasure and for informing you all of French players.
    I do not claim any players already mentioned on the forums as my own mention.
    This thread will take a while to complete, so have some patience.
    This thread will be updated after every round of French football, even while it is still being constructed.
    The statistics posted in this thread will only be league statistics; cups and other tournaments are not accounted for.
    Lastly, I would be thankful towards any criticism and advice from people better than me at this, if it concerns inaccurate stats, disagreeable predictions, and other suggestions.

    Format

    This is the format of all the statistics:
    First Name LAST NAME - Starts - Subs - Goals - Assists - Minutes
    Rating -> New Rating -> Etc. -> Predicted Rating (Notes about player)
    -------------------------------
    All statistics are colored coded as follows:
    Blue = Rise
    Light Blue = May Rise
    Black = Stay
    Orange = May Drop
    Red = Drop
    -------------------------------
    At the end of every post, there will be a brief summary of a player who I would recommend that you buy above anyone else in the team. After each of these "recommendations," there will be a small, italic line stating when that summary was last updated (I will be updating them only occasionally).
    Edit (Jul 12, 2010): From now on, there will be no "recommended player" at summary at the end of each post. There will, though be a brief description of the team at the start of each post.

    Best XI Risers

    Here are eleven players whom I think are the most talented for their respective classes. By class, I refer to a range of SM player ratings. I have organized the players in Ligue 1 and 2 into two classes: the first class of players 85 or higher; and the other of players "Not on DB" or rated 60 to 84. The players are all risers. They may be short- or long-term risers or may not maintain their future ratings for long.

    O-85
    Sorin/Jourdren
    Yangambiwa - Koscielny - Cissokho
    M'Bia
    Hazard - Cheyrou - Pjanic - Marveaux/Gervinho
    Gomis - Montano
    U-84
    Blondel
    Nounkeu - Gace - Sane
    Haruna
    Belhanda - Ndinga - M'Vila - Tabanou
    Riviere/Camara - Tafer/Sagbo
