  4. Re: Castrol Unveil £270 Million 'Ultimate Performing' Footballer LOL! Wow.. Who thought that was a good idea. Cant disagree with 'Hair: Carles Puyol' though.

  6. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Voted for koplfc's peterborough for division two. hard to choose between him and swanseajack but looking at Dan's squad and the result's hes had it's been pretty impressive.
  7. Re: English Championship 5579 -Match Report/transfer Gossip Thread Hoops run rings around Blackpool. In what was expected to be a closely-contested match up. Queens Park Rangers ended up beating a talented Blackpool side with unexpected ease. After only eight minutes, the scoring began early for Rangers as Danijel Pranjic played a lovely ball square to Robin Soder to score his 11th goal in only 13 league appearences. Swedish sensation Soder scores again. After the goal, the QPR defence were still in a celebratory mood at it almost cost them as a cross-shot from Dodo produced a fine save out of Željko Brkic Zeljko Brkic had to be at his best to deny Dodo On the half-hour mark, after weathering a brief Blackpool Storm, QPR consolidated their lead when Latvian international Kaspars Gorkss scored his first goal for the club. In the second half Blackpool were determined to get back in to the game and their over-eagerness going forward cost them as half-time substitube Bernardo Tengarrinha scored his second goal of the season and continued his run of impressive substitute appearences. Despite being 3-0 down this didn't stop Blackpool's attacking endeavours as their goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni even set up a chance but nothing came of it. After this, the game soon became a drab affair with no real quality chances and the game finished 3-0. Hoops manager talked to a BBC Sport interviewer after the game. QPR will hope to continue their form in the next match as they face one of Division 2's strugglers, Crystal Palace at home in what should be a interesting London Derby.
  8. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Haven't been on lately due to studying for mid-terms etc. Up to 2nd after winning 3-0 against a good Blackpool side with Robin Soder continuing his great form with 11 goals in 13 games. I'll do a match report on this game later.
  9. Re: What are you drinking right now? Orange Juice. Nothing like it...
  10. Re: England Strikers - Who will Go to South Africa ? Rooney - Obvious choice, England need him to stand a chance of winning. Heskey - IMO not really needed C.Cole and Zamora do similar jobs and score more regularily (sp?) but i guess if you want experience, he's your man. Crouch - Has an amazing scoring record for England, would pick him. Defoe - A definite pick for me, recent form for England has been good. Bent - Never. Saw his first start for England against Brazil and he done nothing, and right now he's doing nothing for Sunderland too.
  11. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread Hi people! I'm the QPR manager and i've joined the forums now. I just done an interview for the transfer gossip thread and i hope you all like it.
  12. Re: English Championship 5579 -Match Report/transfer Gossip Thread QPR.co.uk interview: Charlize Andersson At the beginning of the season, Hoops fans could be forgiven for seriously questioning the board's appointment of appointed Swedish novice manager Charlize Andersson but after only 4 defeats in 17 games, the fans are starting to warm to their new manager. Q :So Charlize, has the team's form this season been a surprise to you? And the fans would've been right too, seeing as you've spend over £21 million on bringing new players, way above the average for a Championship team. The main signing was Croatian international, Danijel Pranjic. How on earth did you manage to get him to sign for QPR?! Just one more question, how do think the Hoops will cope against Watford tonight?
  13. Re: Keith Alexander He was a good manager, knew how to manage clubs with little money. A big loss for English Football. R.I.P Keith Alexander.
