  1. Re: Riferimento: Italian Ignorance: Buy, Sell or Keep? (Serie a & Big, big thanks! You're english is better than my italian... I only know "via a casa" (go home?) and "tu say patso" (you are crazy?) so well done! Big help on the players, thank you.
  2. Would appreciate some know-how on these players, I'm not too familiar with how the players in the Italian leagues are doing quality-wise. Marco Motta (Parma/Juve) Aleandro Rosi (Roma) Paolo Cannavaro (Napoli) Sebastian Giovinco (Parma/Juve) Bright Addae (Parma) Nwankwo Obiora (Parma/Padova) Araujo Ze Eduardo (Parma/Padova) Danilo Pereira (Parma) Kenneth Zohore (Fiorentina) I know that Obiora and Ze Eduardo both had rises last week, my question for them is are they worth keeping for future ratings? As for the rest, should I sell or keep? Big thanks.
  3. Re: Spain U19 'Suso' - Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáez de la Torre Has travelled in Brendan Rodgers' squad for the LFC pre-season in Toronto.
  4. Re: Llorente or Huntelaar? Huntelaar has got a better chance at getting 92 this season with him being the top scorer in the Bundesliga last year, playing at a bigger club and playing more international football than Llorente.
  5. Re: ||'LA MASIA: INSPIRED'|| - Custom Gameworld [MANAGERS NEEDED] The squads are looking competitive ahead of the season premiere next Sunday! Barca top Division 1's 'Total Value' chart with a squad value of £346m. Real Madrid top the 'Average Rating' table with an average rating of 92 over 41 players! In Division 2 River Plate are close behind RM and Barca with an average rating of 92 spread over 23 players. The only vacancy now is the Spartak Moscva job. All the best with fine-tuning your squads this week before Matchday 1 next Sunday!
  6. Re: Spanish Defenders Thanks man, big help
  7. I'm looking for some help on which Spanish defender is worth buying and if they are likely to rise in the coming season. I know a little bit about each of the following but want some second/third/fourth opinions! Victor Ruiz (89) Aurtenetxe (88) San Jose (88) Juanfran (88) Monreal (89) Gamez (88) Jose Angel (88) Big thanks.

"La Masia Inspired" Custom Game World ID: 124989 Division 1: Barcelona Real Madrid Bayern Munich Dortmund Marseille PSG Milan Inter Division 2: Manchester United Arsenal Ajax Feyenoord Estudiantes River Plate FC Porto Benfica Spartak Moscow CSKA Moscow How the clubs were chosen and the divisions decided 10 nations were chosen based on quality of players from each nation. Needless to say FIFA world rankings were ignored! 2 clubs were then chosen from each nation. Which two clubs was decided by size of stadium in order to generate the maximum amount of revenue. To determine which nations would enter Division 1 and which would enter Division 2 a tally was taken of the number of players each nation had rated 90 or above on SM. Gameworld Rules Each team begins with empty squads and can only buy players from the nation of their club. A maximum opening balance of £300m is given. Transfer windows are Turn 1 to Turn 10 and Turn 16 to Turn 18, the first 10 matches of the season and the final 3 matches of the season. 2 teams will be relegated from Division 1 (managers will not be sacked) and 2 teams will be promoted from Division 2, 1 via a playoff. Owner Comments With there being 2 teams from each nation able to sign players of the same nationality only, we are eager for a core group of managers to join the Gameworld and make the transfer market competitive. Transfers will begin tomorrow night (09/07/12) with the first match of the season being Sunday 22/07. A quick response is given to every manager applying. The rules will be trialled for the first season and tweeked for the second if need be. Please join and make your mark on the club of your choice from the word go! 12. Re: Custom Setup Requires Managers "La Masia Inspired" Custom Game World ID: 124989 New managers needed. Rules are as follows: 2 Divisions made up of 2 teams from 10 different nations. Division 1 consists of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund, Marseille, PSG, Flamengo, Fluminese. Division 2 consists of: Man Utd, Arsenal, Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow, River Plate, Estudiantes, Ajax, Feyenoord, Benfica, Portugal. Managers can only buy players the same nationality as their club. (2 clubs per nation to make signings competitive. Squads are all empty and the start balance is £300m. Launched this evening, no signings can be made for the next 48 hours and we're looking for some more head to head battles for signings after that deadline has passed. Climb on board!
  13. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I am selling Marc BARTRA (85) and have the opportunity to get in replacement: Chris SMALLING (87), Victor RUIZ (87) or Azavedo SILVIO (88) - who should I get? All are on for a +1 in the next couple of weeks, Silvio is cheaper than the other two in my GW. Any opinions appreciated!
  14. Re: How to Win Division 5 I'm in Div 5 with Wrexham too in EC 8054. We've played 26, won 22, drawn 2, lost 2 with a huge goal difference of 82 and am 15 points clear of second place. I've found the task quite simple to be honest, but I have been helped that my first set of transfer bans have been running out in the last two weeks, allowing me to sign the big risers from the big leagues in team. I would give the following pointers: - For the first round of signings buy only 75 and below rated players, particularly from the big teams as you pay little for them and they have in general more potential. - Play attacking football. Take the game to your Div 5 opponents. Their teams are going to be below 75 in average rating. Be aggressive with your tactics in the league. - Buy a squad. 2 players for every position. You're going to need them for such a big season and I found that you get lumbered with a fair few injuries/suspensions, my guess being because your team will be so superior to those around you on paper. - Prioritise the cups. This is a big one I believe. Cup runs generate much needed income for a Div 5 side. Generally, play very defensively and you may get the luck of the generator. My Wrexham side are in the cup semi-final next week having knocked out Leicester, Aston Villa and others, and also beat Tottenham in the shield before losing 4-3 to City who had Messi and Ronaldo! Two good cup runs have kept us in the black meaning I've been able to sign the odd big riser from the leagues as they are reviewed. - Look out for new players added to the DB belonging to the big teams in your GW and snap them up as free agents. I managed to sign Larnell Cole, Ezequiel Friers and Ogzakup as free agents, and just missed out on Pogba. Cut-price signings with potential to rise. - Loan in three 78 rated players. I would disagree on loaning in players over 80 as you don't need them to win the league and they bump up the wage bill a lot in comparison to the rest of your squad. - Prioritise your GK position, CF position and then the position to suit the tactics you use, eg. if you play attacking 'down both flanks' then get a player like Assulin on loan and use him as playmaker. - Once transfer bans of first batch are up, buy 77-78 rated players who are poised to rise into the early 80s. Remember the division up is still only Div 4, it 77-82 rated players will be enough to win promotion again. Sell any players with potential but will stay at 75, you can't afford to carry people on the wage bill when you're getting 3,000 fans every game! My second batch of signings have included Campana, Obi, Martinez, Alvaro, Isco... Players poised to rise from 77/78 to low 80s, yet keeping the wage bill relatively low. My only 'big' signing will be to sign Andres from Espanyol, a GK ready to rise 82>85. Keepers make a big difference. My full squad value is £41.3m but that is at the moment premature as I've got 13 players almost certain to rise in the next two weeks, some as much as +6/7. Hope that's of some help. Obviously, my GW has been almost the ideal for shooting up the leagues, but I think the above principles have enabled me to do it with relative ease.
