  1. Re: Swap Tool Feature unanimous and probably meaningless
  2. Re: Swap Tool Feature I honestly dont know of any feature thats been more in demand in my time playing the game, and I don't understand why its taking so long.
  3. Re: Was thinking of new............ I'll join, as usual I think it would be good if u could keep keepers rising, or atleast up to like 88/90 before you have to sell. Then a bit of a bonus for scouting.
  4. Re: Gold Championship 21- News, Transfers & Match Reports Roma have made the following two players available Francesco Totti Fans favourite Totti is to be allowed to leave, should a suitable offer come in for two 91/92+ players, preferably playing W, AM or F. Julio Baptista Baptista can leave for two 90 rated players, preferably playing W, AM or F.
  5. Re: Mr Nice Guy's International Evolution Congratulations mate, a deserved trophy
  6. Re: Grudge match set-up transfer/news/match report thread 1 - 2 Roma make it four wins in four games to start the season, with another dominating display.
  7. Re: Mr Nice Guy's International Evolution Two teams available . . . Allianza Lima - Peru Southampton - England
  8. Re: Grudge match set-up transfer/news/match report thread 7th August 2008 2 - 1 Roma continued the season as they started with another three points, as home to Mallorca. Mallorca took the lead just 2 minutes before half time when Stefan Kiessling caught Roma off-guard, to score with Mallorca's only shot on target in the game. Roma were clearly aggreived by the goal, and came out all guns blazing in the second half, with Marco Cassetti drawing the teams level at 1-1 in the 49th minute. Roma continued to dominate, however it took until the 69th minute for them to take the lead, with Cassetti's defensive partner Philippe Mexes hammered the ball home from distance. This is how the scoreline remained, and gave Roma back to back wins to start the season. 10th August 2008 4 - 2 The 100% record continued in the third game of the season for Roma, with another convincing display, defeating Portsmouth 4-2 and Stadio Olympico, in front of an improving attendance of 68777. The result was never really in doubt after Roma took a 3-0 lead in just over half an hour, with Daniele De Rossi (2), Alessandro Mancini (28) and Simone Perrotta (31) supplying the goals. Portmsouth struck back through Jermaine Defoe in the 36th minute, leaving the sides at 3-1 at half-time. Just three minutes after the break, Niko Kranjcar gave the away side hope pulling the scores back to 3-2 with a 20yard thunderbolt. But Alberto Aquilani ragined the advantage for Roma in the 64th minute, and Roma saw out a comfortable victory. A perfect start for Roma, with a maximum 9 points from the first three games. This sees them level with Juventus and Real Madrid, but holding third due to goal difference.
  9. Re: Forumer Of The Year 2008 - (Qualifying) - Group 2 A tough group, for my vote its between Havoc and Nick Justice, and ive gone with the latter. Quality sigs, match reports and previews, and helpful opinions.
  10. Re: Mr Nice Guy's International Cultivation (Int Evo Mark II!) Havoc and Giggsy you still need to take your teams
  11. Re: Gold Championship 14 (News, Gossip, Match Report, Etc) Thread 2-1 Flamengo finished the season with three points, but unfortunately the damage had already been done and there was no chance to grab a SMFA place. Falling to four defeats in the final six games was a devastating blow for the club who had been strong challengers for the title, but there is a lot of quality in the side and will be hoping to bounce back stronger next season. Lukas Podolski grabbed his 37th goal of the season, and is the only player to have played all 38 league games for Flamengo this season. Not only has Podolski made the impressive achievement of comfortable being the top scorer in the Americas league, but he has also provided the most assists, setting up his teammates for a further 19 goals! He is also the top performing player, with an average rating of 8.11, level with River Plate's Radamel Falcao, but participating in 9 games more. These impressive records saw Podolski pick up 13 Man of the match awards throughout the season, 3 more than anyone else in the league. Astonishingly, he also only picked up 1 yellow card over the 38 games, and must be pinching himself when looking back on his performances this season, despite the lack of any silverware. Signing/Player/Top Scorer/Assister Of The Season! Lukas Podolski has been incredible for Flamengo this season, and has proved to be great value for money following a £30million transfer at the start of the season from Bayern Munchen. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my congratulations to Luke Deveney, for a superb achievement in winning this league. It's a competitive division, and to finish top deserves a lot of respect, and i'm glad the honour goes to such a top lad and friend
  12. Re: Gold Championship 16- Match Report/Transfers...etc Just came on to do a match report but I guess theres no need now Extended unbeaten run to 18 games, although the winning run ends at 9. Dominated possession but couldn't find the breakthrough, a shame Lavezzi didn't save one of his 5 in last game for this one instead! Still, a point against Juventus has to be considered a good thing, and it means i've still only lost one league game all season. Dropped 2 points back from Inter, but if I can maintain the run then hopefully Sparky i'll be there to take advantage if Sparky has any slip ups in the remainder of the season. Rested a few players in prep for Friday, although I didn't want to risk a full reserve team as Juve are a top team. I think it'll b a tight game against Inter, but fear home advantage could halt my progress for this season.
  13. Re: New standard I'll join whatever it is. Prob prefer Italian though.
  14. Re: Mr Nice Guy's International Cultivation (Int Evo Mark II!) Done http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?p=361233#post361233 And yeah, everyone starting with a low balance cos of the new popularity based starting finances. The biggest is £10mill for Japan.
  15. Exactly what the title says, post your match reports and any other news about this setup here
  16. Re: Mr Nice Guy's International Cultivation (Int Evo Mark II!) It's been made! http://www.soccermanager.com/select-setup-new.php?action=setup&setup=14485 Password being sent now! EDIT: Password sent. Can everyone please sell all players rated 86 and over. The cap for first season is 85, and its best to get rid as then it prevents anyone accidently playing a 86+ player. However, If a player rises above 85 from your starting team or transfers, u may keep and play! Also must sell any non-nationals from your starting team!
