  1. All Ireland Championship - ID 418294 3 Divisions of 12 teams - with only 2 promotion spots (1 through play-offs). Empty squads with £60m to spend. Caps: Age 30 - Rating 84 - Cash Only deals - Max bid £4m. If you fancy a challenge join us. The transfer window opens tomorrow (08.04.20). Cheers
  2. The first round of league fixtures is today - so far we have 9 managers spread through the 3 divisions. If you fancy joining us now is the time as the first transfer window closes at turn 5!.
  3. Hi all Whilst looking for a new team to play as I noticed that there didn't seem to be any Chinese leagues set up, so I made one. The gameworld ID is 379579 - all teams start with their default squads & a balance of £150m. The league has 3 divisions of 16 teams - division 3 is split 8 teams from League 2 North & 8 from the League 2 South. There is only 1 automatic promotion spot - so getting promoted should be a challenge. There are two transfer windows the 1st between turns 1-5 & the second between turns 16-20. The first round of league games is on Sunday 18th
  4. So far so good back at Mansfield. Managed to go on a great unbeaten run and beat Barnsley to the Division 4 title on the last day of the season. The capacity of Field Mill remains at the increased level it had been changed too during my previous reign at the club & the crowds are slowly coming back. I'm aiming to sign 3 or 4 players to fill the squad ready for an assualt on Division 3 next season.
  5. The first round of league games take place tonight, two other managers have joined taking control of Morpeth Town & Stockport County, I'm managing Bishop Auckland. Hope some of you may be tempted to join in.
  6. After a 9 Season absence I've taken over Mansfield again. Since I departed the Stags they've dropped down to Division 4 and have sold all of the players I'd bought to the club, so the squad is basic but the bank balance is healthy. The only remaining effect of my previous stint at the is that the capacity of Field Mill remains at 24,000. Mansfield after 18 games of season 22 are currently sat in 6th place in the league & are only 7 points off the top two, so I'm going to be aiming for promotion this season & hopefully getting the Stags back up to Div 1 as soon as possible.
  7. Hi all Non League English Championship - ID 373033 3 Divisions of 14 teams (picked at random from the various levels of the English non league system), all teams start with no players & a budget of £30m. No signing players rated over 80 & no cash deals over £2m. The first league games are on 12 November. Cheers Dom
  8. Re: GC52 - Match Reports/Discussion Season 12 finished last night. We finished 7th to qualify for the SMFA Shield again, but it feels like we're treading water, which isn't a bad thing really of course I'd love to be able to grab a top 4 finish but we simply haven't got the quality in depth to maintain our better periods of form for a whole season at present. As long as we keep up our top 8 finishes I'll be happy really. I'd forgotten that winning the cup meant we had qualified for the SMFA Shield, however we crashed out in round 2 against Real Betis, we also got knocked out of both domes
  9. Re: GC52 - Match Reports/Discussion Season 11 has just finished, my 7th in charge of the Stags & I've finally landed the Club it's first Top Tier Trophy - after a penalty shoot-out victory against Everton the English Cup is taking pride of place in the Field Mill trophy cabinet. As for the league it was another fairly decent season that saw us top the table for a couple of weeks early on, however after that bright start we didn't really have any consistent form and ended up missing out on the SMFA Shield places losing on the last day to finish 9th our worst position in the top flight to
  10. Re: GC52 - Match Reports/Discussion Well another 5 months pass & another season finishes in GC52. I can happily report that once again Mansfield have exceeded expectations & easily avoided the drop. After a rotten run of form in the league of 9 games without a win, we picked up a last day victory at West Ham which saw us finish in 7th place & ensure that we'd see SMFA Shield action at Field Mill again next season. Before the wretched run in the league we'd been on course for a 4th or 5th placed finish, to be fair the fallout in the league had a lot to do with our progress in the
  11. Re: GC52 - Match Reports/Discussion 5 Months on from my last post the season has finished tonight & I can happily report I kept Mansfield up. In fact we did way better then just staying up, we finished in 6th place with only the top 2 having lost fewer games, & currently on a run of 15 Div 1 games unbeaten. The main reason for our success has been our superb away form, with 13 wins, including victories at Spurs, Arsenal (who we did the double over), Man Utd, & our biggest win of the season a 7-0 thrashing of Forest. The stadium expansion helped keep the finances from going in
  12. Re: GC52 - Match Reports/Discussion Despite a defeat at Burnley, Southampton (already the Div 2 Champions) did me a huge favour & beat 3rd placed Portsmouth, which ensured that my team Mansfield Town have clinched automatic promotion to Div 1. Which means that tonight I've achieved my goal in guiding Mansfield Town from Div 5 to Div 1:). It's taken 5 seasons (a defeat in the div 3 play-offs halting our progress along the way) & some careful balancing of the books (hopefully the stadium capacity will get extended again for next season in the top flight), taking a punt on some unkn
