  1. Re: The Coca Cola Championship - Official Scores/Results thread Didnt think a point was a bad result for us Tuesday considering we havent been great on the road of late and Barnsley will be fighting for everything until the end of the season plus the fact we are missing a few key players plus a few others who would get in the majority of championship teams. Hopefully we can be where we are now with 4 games remaining and have all our players back fit for one last burst to get us up. Missing virtually 4/5 strikers Tuesday night: Top Goalscorer Kevin Phillips. 2nd top goalscorer who was on t
  2. Re: The Coca Cola Championship - Official Scores/Results thread I absolutely hate Preston but I dislike Burnley as well cause they play in pink and blue Preston are one of our boggie sides especially with the TF and penalty shoot out saga Can't see us winning today tbh, I'd take a draw with only 2 fit strikers and about 4 players making their debuts for us.
  3. Re: January Transfer Window Predictions Birmingham City: In: Centre back. Left Midfielder. Extension of Quincys loan or permanent deal. Attacking Centre midfielder (Keith Fahey). Out: Quashie back to WHU. McSheffrey.
  4. Re: The Coca Cola Championship - Official Scores/Results thread We were not very good and sat back for large parts of the game playing long balls out of defence to Bent who I dont rate that highly anyway and all 5 foot 2 of Kevin Phillips. Our main threat going forward was playing on the wrong wing in Quincy and didnt take his man on enough, we had a left back playing as a left winger and he put one decent cross in all game when Phillips should of scored while our set pieces were woeful and never beat the first man. We still have the same problem in the central midfield where we have 2
  5. Re: The Coca Cola Championship - Official Scores/Results thread Another Birmingham fan here. NOT to confident about tomorrow, playing one of our boggie teams away from home and its live on sky, I'd settle for a point. Next 3 games could be the make or break with Preston (away), Reading (home) and Ipswich (away), 5/6pts from them 3 games would be alright including not letting Reading leave Stans with 3 points. Anyway top Goalscorers: Doyle Reading 15 Ebanks-Blake Wolverhampton 14 Iwelumo Wolverhampton 13 McCormack Cardiff 13 Smith Watford 11 Beattie Sheff Utd 10 Phillip

  7. Re: Arsenal v's Birmingham So does that make him Crotian, somehow I dont think. I'm sure there are many players that could play for different countries than where they born - one **** of a stupid rule.
  8. Re: Arsenal v's Birmingham Can I or can I not have confirmation that he was actually born in Brazil, therefore that does mean he is not Crotian.
  9. Re: Arsenal v's Birmingham The referee sent off Taylor for the injury rather than the tackle, you could see when Larsson asked the referee pointing to Eduardo's leg and saying its broken. In my book thats wrong, the tackle did not deserve a red card and happens week in, week out in the premiership and players get away with it - it was just the extent of the injury which the ref sent Taylor of for. Was a good point for us anyway, we worked hard with 10 men and great to Faddy get 2 for us Whoever it was moaning about the penalty not being a penalty, what about the foul on our keeper for you
  10. Re: Martin Laursen He is a regular yes, he is my best defender bar Maldini who is 39yo anyway but I do have a couple of decent replacements, problem is its going to be tough just to keep us in the top division so I want to keep him but I also think £9,350,000 is good money for him thats for sure.

  12. Re: Need Help With Arsenal I'd play: --------------------------Buffon------------------------ Maicon-------Cannavaro----------Nesta----------- Lahm --------------------------Albelda------------------------ ------------Fabregas---------------Gattuso-------------- --------------------------Lampard----------------------- -------------------Henry------------Eto'o---------------- 4-4-2 (diamond formation)
  13. Re: British Changesl-COMPLAINTS I was shocked that Stephen Kelly did not go up from an 86, I think that is actually really shocking. Even if you look at his stats, he has played every single game for us this season and has also played every minute in the league ahead of the likes of Stuart Parnaby who has been playing premiership football for quite a while. In my opinion he has been our best player so far this season and I'm sure alot of fans would agree that he has been, I think he has proved that he is good enough for the premiership and is a decent premiership footballer.
  14. Re: lot's of money, good players but not doing good Any chance of giving us your players stats (ie player rating, position played etc...)
  15. Re: Preston North End Squad ahhh....ok interesting, I usually just use a few lower rated players in the cup to give my 1st team players a rest - concentrate on the league which I've had to do as its been a struggle keeping all 3 of my teams in the top division this season, hopefully it will be a bit more comfortable next season with my Birmingham and West Brom teams.
