  1. Name: Santiago Montoya Muñoz DOB: 15.09.91 (21 years old) Nationality: Columbian Club: CA All Boys Buenos Aires Position: Left winger (AMRLC) Rating: 76 Santiago Montoya Muñoz played for six years in the Atletico Nacional Medellin youth leagues, but never got his chance to play first team football. Frustrated by his lack of opportunities, for what he puts down to the club's policy to buy-in players rather than blood their youth team, in 2010 he moved to Argentina, because his sister lived there. He was picked-up by CA All Boys, and played in their reserve team in the Argentinian 4th division. Montoya admitted that it took him a couple of years to adjust to the faster pace and more physical nature of the Argentinian game. On 06.10.12 he made his debut from the bench against San Martin. His first full start was on 28.10.12 against Estudiantes. For the remainder of the Torneo Inicial, he racked-up 238 minutes (hence the 76 rating). For the Torneo Final, Montoya had gained the trust of manager Jose Romero, who started him in the derby match against Boca Juniors. His faith was repaid as Montoya provided the assist with a long through-ball for Ahumada to score the first goal (http://www.footytube.com/video/ca-all-boys-ca-boca-juniors-feb23-161428). In the following match on 03.03.13 against Tigre, Montoya scored his first league goal with a shot from outside the box, catching the keeper unawares ( ). He also scored in the Copa Argentina against Brown de Adrogué with a well taken free kick ( ).It looks a though Montoya could get a run in the first team and be integral to where CA All Boys finish in the Torneo Final If he does continue to get the minutes, his rating could rise from 76 to 80/81. I will try and update this thread every couple of weeks if he continues to get the starts and minutes. 2. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 Apologies if this has been asked before, but with Kirchhoff now signing for Bayern Munchen, can anyone give me some advice of whether this guy has any chance of breaking into the Bayern defence next season, and is he worth hanging onto (now he has gone to Bayern) or selling (because he won't get any game time and will disappear into Munchen second-team obscurity)? Thanks.
  3. Re: Ilkay Gundogan or Borges Romulo? Thanks for the replies A quick twist on the question, Granit Xhaka is available - anyone think he may be a better longer-term prospect than both Gundogan and Romulo?
  4. I have both of these players and want to sell one - which one is the better prospect to keep? Thanks.
  5. Re: Samed Yesil (The Next Klose?) y o y o y?
  6. Re: Young German CF's with potential Thanks for the reply. Do you think Volland will be a starter for Hoffenheim this season after his successful loan spell?
  7. I am managing a 3rd division German team, and want to buy some young German CF's with potential, as there seems to be a few ready to burst through. Can anyone advise of the 3 players from the list below they think have the most potential to get first team football this coming year, and to push on from there and hold down a first team place in a season or two: - Samed Yesil (one sub appearance last year, but somehow managed to make it onto the DB) - Elias Kachunga (I see he scored a hat-trick against Norwich City yesterday for Hertha Berlin) - Lennart Thy (now at St Pauli) - Kevin Volland (bit of a luxury buy for me, but is he that good?) - Daniel Ginczek (on loan at St Pauli from Dortmund) - Niclas Fullkrug (got promoted from Werder Bremen II last term and got some game time, with Pizaro now gone to Bayern Munchen, will he get more playing time?) I am not too concerned about the rating, as being in the 3rd division they could probably all score against the opposition, but more their potential for game time in the real world, and whether you believe they can make it big in a season or two (even three). Thanks for any one who is able to advise.
  8. Re: Aldershot town I agree with Cosmic, but it depends on who you can replace them with - what players are available and on your 'wishlist'?
  9. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2011/2012 (II) I see that Thy is now at FC St.Pauli - any Bundesliga experts have an opinion of whether he will get a fair amount of playing time? Also, with playing time, do you think he can recapture the potential he was hyped-up for? I also see Daniel Ginczek has been loaned there from Dortmund - what is this guy's potential? (I have a 1.FC Saarbrucken side, so looking for lower rated players with potential, hence all the 'potential' questions... and some playing time would be nice!) Thanks in advance.

  11. Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Sergio Manoel, 22, of Cortiba was added to the player database at 60. In two games so far, he has 116 minutes and one start! I know Cortiba currently sit bottom of the league, but were unlucky against Botafogo last weekend, but if he continues like this, could he be a +20 when the ratings come round? Anyone have any further info on this guy - is he covering for an injury, late bloomer, star quality?!
  12. Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Gremio's CBs: P Naldo and T Saimon Which of these do you think will see more playing time this season, and are either any good for the future? Thanks in advance.
  13. Re: Jordan Rhodes... The Next Rooney! I read in the Reading Evening Post that Reading are trying to sign him - any truth in the rumor? (how many 'reading's'?!)
  14. Re: My first team squad - Who to sell? Tough call, but it looks like you are top heavy on AM's. I don't know what formation you play, but I would get rid of a couple of them. All have great potential and you never know where they will go next in their career, so each forumer would probably tell you different ones to sell! I would get rid of Lamela and Pastore/Eriksen (only after the Dutch review however, as he is likely to go up), but others would no doubt argue against this! As two good keepers are not needed, you could buy a cheap one and sell one of the more expensive ones - brings in money and saves wages? I would also sell Sturridge, as he is your weakest attacker and you have plenty of better cover, but it depends how much you need to trim the wage bill by to break-even. Good squad though!
