  1. I've been offered Lucas Moura in exchange for Felipe Anderson. My gut instinct, without watching much Ligue 1, is that Moura seems slightly more likely to reach 91+. Ultimately, though, I'd be swapping two very similarly rated players so I'm not sure if there's any point? Does anyone have any thoughts on whether I should sign Moura or stick with Anderson?
  2. Hi I've been trying to buy Lucas Moura and I've been offered him, but in exchange for Lucas Moura. I was wondering what your thoughts were on whether I should go for it? I'm a bit unsure, which is making me think I should stick with Anderson. Thanks.
  3. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed, & discuss SM's review policy........ Admittedly, I run the risk of looking at data with minimal context of how he played, but Thiago's game time from 19/4/12 to the end of the season was: 90 mins v Real Unused sub v Chelsea Goal & 90 mins v Rayo (5th goal in a 7-0 win) Unused sub v Malaga 90 mins v Espanyol 3 mins as sub in Copa final v Bilbao Bearing in mind the last couple of league games carried little meaning, I can't see there being enough there to add much weight to the '89>90' argument. But it is what it is, I guess.

  5. Re: PORTUGAL – 1st and 2nd Division extensive thread - Discussion Thread Interesting article - seems to confuse Saudi Arabia with Egypt at one point....at least he's honest about it.
  6. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed, & discuss SM's review policy........ I'd make two suggestions to solve this: 1) If you adjust a player's position, implement a system where users are banned from changing his position again for x weeks/months. Insigne is a prime example - his position has been changed more than once of late. Soccer Manager staff surely have better things to do than change someone from AM RLC/F RL to AM/F RLC (or whatever) on multiple occasions. 2) SM staff do what they can to avoid having to review the 'big 5' during the January transfer window in future. I wouldn't be surprised if having to change so many players' clubs is having a considerable effect on the time taken to do the rating reviews. (That said, if they want to delay giving Kaka and Maicon the drops they're due, that's fine by me on a totally selfish level!!)

  8. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed? Just a guess, but Mexico was last reviewed 8 months ago, I think. Could be about due for a review, especially as the Apertura has finished.
  9. Re: Brazilian Serie A - By nicholasbig96, JHM_daggers & BrunoMentz Great work, as always - I certainly appreciate the time you spend. You guys are much better at rating change estimates than I am! Regarding Ralf, is there a chance he could rise from 87 to 88? Four caps for Brazil (all full 90-minute appearances, albeit for the 'domestic' Brazil team) and playing 33 league games for the eventual champions. I'm can't claim to have watched the league this season (other than the crazy last fifteen minutes of Fluminense v Vasco on a dodgy feed...) so perhaps Ralf has been carried by team-mates, but it's a question I thought was worth asking. Cheers Fraser
  10. Re: -||Eredivisie Ratings-By Kun,BRNL and Jor||- The folk in charge of the Dutch review were big enough to see they possibly under-valued de Jong, and held their hands up about it. Well done to them for that.

  12. Re: Mexican risers 2010/2011 Do you think Jackson Martinez of Jaguares will hold at 86 or drop? He's been displaced by Antonio Salazar while he was out injured since January, and seemingly is struggling to get his place back. Hasn't kicked a ball since.
  13. Re: Russian and Ukraine Player Analysis 2010 Denys Oleynyk of Metalist has made a breakthrough at international level this year, and got a lot of goals with his club to boot. I reckon he'll go from 86 to 87/88. Maybe 88 because Ukraine isn't reviewed so often. Marko Devic might go from 87 to 88. Both guys have a preferred foot of 'both', which is always a selling point for suckers like me!
  14. Re: Mexican League Antonio Salazar and Jorge Hernandez of Jaguares should go up. I'd estimate Salazar will go 78 to 81/82, and Hernandez will go 80/84 - the latter has had the most game time, even if his number of yellow cards is horrific!!
