  1. Re: English Championship 32078 Discussion Thread Blackburn rovers :)
  2. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Hello guys, I apologize for leaving Spurs but I have to concentrate on my studies
  3. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Tottenham stun Dortmund to win the cup!!! Spurs beat Dortmund in a thrilling cup final at the Bernabeu after goals from Eriksen and record signing Cavani Dortmund started brightly with Higuain, Bender and Reus all forcing solid saves from Sirigu. However, Spurs took the lead in the 43rd minute against the run of play as Eriksen capitalized on some lackluster marking by Subotic to finish after latching on a Cavani pass. Not long after, Cavani got on the score sheet himself rising heroically to tuck in a Morgan Schneiderlin corner. Dortmund changed formation in the 60th minute to try to come back, however they were denied by a solid performance from Sirigu. Man of the Match: Cavani (being involved in both goals) Flop of the Match: Subotic (disappointing 3/10 rating)
  4. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Fantastic win for strugglers Tottenham over Everton on the same day that we beat Everton in the EPL:) Time for the cup final
  5. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread A very disappointing loss to Roma today after conceding 3 goals in 6 minutes. Spurs find themselves at the foot of the division 2 table. However we still have hope to win the cup
  6. Hello guys, Has the match engine changed very recently? Previously, I have found that formations that pack the midfield with players and get greater than 60% possession will win 90% of the time. This strategy has worked very well for me however in the last few weeks, I have struggled immensely despite dominating possession. Has the match engine changed to not favor possession based formations??
  7. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Edison Cavani has signed for Tottenham for a club record 42 million Can he rejuvenate an underperforming Spurs side???
  8. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Tottenham have activated Cavani's 42 million release clause
  9. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Spurs win their first competitive match against a second-string Man Utd side Harry Kane starred with a 10/10 performance, 2 goals and an assist Kane will likely back up against PSG after his impressive performance
  10. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Tottenham play their first home game under Jake Rils against Man Utd in the cup tonight. Spurs are huge underdogs given that we do not have a single first team striker Harry Kane is forced to start following the sale of Soldado and Federico Fazio will captain the team in the absence of Vertonghen and Kaboul. Mata, Moutinho and Dante could be making their first starts
  11. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Last chance to get Lloris - release fee 25mil
  12. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Tottenham sign Moutinho for a bargain price of 16.1 million 2 years after narrowly missing out on the Portuguese star, Spurs have finally got him:) He will be our third marquee signing after Dante and Mata who both failed to impress off the bench against Bilbao
  13. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Rule 2: The club feels that after selling Sandro a new DM is needed. Morgan Schneiderlin is unsettled and the board has agreed a £10m deal for him (You have first refusal and may choose to either buy or not, no other club may compete if you choose to buy outside of your budgets). Tottenham have activated the release clause on Schneiderlin's contract. Media reports have stated that Paulinho is feeling frustrated with the increasing competition in midfield and is willing to leave for the club for his minimum 14.5 million transfer fee. Also new Spurs manager Jake Rils is under pressure to deliver after overpaying for the services of Juan Mata. He joined for 35 million when a 30 million offer was negotiated by the previous manager.
  14. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Match Preview: Athletic Bilbao vs Tottenham Tonight Tottenham travel to face fellow minnows Athletic Bilbao. After 2 lackluster performances under their old manager, Spurs are looking for their first win of the season. Rumours from the Tottenham training centre have suggested that Tom Carroll may be given a shock start over Lamela, who has failed to leave his mark on the 2 previous games. It is also unsure whether the "marquee" signings Dante and Juan Mata will start. I believe that Bilbao are firm favorites given the fact that their teams has had 2 match days to gel
  15. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Spurs unveil first "marquee" signing Rule 3: The board feels a marquee signing is needed to boost shirt sales. They wish to see a player 92+ rated arrive at the club any position or risk losing out on crucial merchandising money. (92+ meaning 92-99 inclusive) In light of this rule, spurs have signed DANTE from Bayern for 20mil. Manager Jake Rils is not content with just one marquee and promises to bring a few more in.
