  1. Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread I read that his current contract would be up in 2016. When would this new deal finish?
  2. Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread There are rumours that Reus is going to sign a contract extension (until 2017). As a result, I imagine that his release clause would be higher.
  3. Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread I agree (from the little I've seen of Stoke this season) but didn't want to trip myself up in case they still use it from time to time
  4. Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread Regardless of whether or not Stoke still hoof the ball, it's a style of play at the end of the day. It might not be a nice one, just like parking the bus isn't, but if it works, it works.
  5. Re: Official Bundesliga Discussion Thread Early contender for The Houdini Award?
  6. Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread My avatar is a realistic prediction. I don't just settle for any half decent British player* you know This guy replaced Bale as my avatar. As in, MY Gareth Bale. Both are acknowledged nonetheless. *A lie, but I wanted to prove a point.
  7. Re: Official Premier League Discussion Thread Question is, who out of those players will be remembered in fifteen years time? That's right, the answer is Alan Hutton.
  8. Re: The Politics Thread I've found that quite a bit of UKIP bashing comes from bandwagon jumpers. Whilst I don't know an awful lot about politics myself, it's not hard to look up different political party policies and make your mind up with which of those you feel you most agree with. Personally, I'll be voting for UKIP due to the current mass immigration problem in Britain. There are other pros and cons to voting for UKIP, granted, but I feel the influx of immigrants is a big problem. At the moment, UKIP look the most likely to sort it out. I don't have a problem with immigrants because they're Polish or Romanian, etc. That doesn't bother me one bit if they contribute, and I'm sure other UKIP voters will have different motives that may or may not be xenophobic, but not all UKIP voters hate anything that isn't British. It's become a stereotype in itself and as said, it's quite often used by people who have heard someone else bash UKIP and just want to jump on the bandwagon themselves (just to counter one stereotype with another ). Not everyone is the same, as there are some people who are more educated on the matter than most (including myself, which goes without saying), but that's just what I've found. I only finished college last year and didn't study politics, so it's worth noting that I overheard a lot of teenage conversations that would discuss politics one minute and who was going to be playing on XBOX later that night, the next
  9. Re: Official Manchester United Thread Congratulations on the win. See you in the next round
  10. Re: Official FA Cup Thread Man United (most likely ) at home on the one year anniversary weekend of Sir Tom Finney's death. We couldn't have asked for anything better, and I'm sure United and their fans will also pay their respects. Thrilled

  12. Re: The Politics Thread The thing that annoys me most (aside from the loss of innocent lives) is that the actions of this one group of religious extremists puts some people in the mindset that all religion is bad. Of course, there are religious connections to IS, but its not the religion that you and I know/know of. It's a warped ideology that they have been brainwashed into thinking is Islam (in its entirety). It's sad, but I don't really feel for them. I do in the sense that they know nothing else of life, but their actions are more damaging than the loss of their 'life', if that makes sense. As for the idiots that voluntarily choose to join (there have been a few cases involving British people), well... They're old enough to know better. They had it coming if they get killed for trusting people that aren't really human on the inside. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending them one bit. I'd wipe every one of their scum bag faces off the Earth if I could. Sadly, there's always going to be terror on Earth in some form or another. Personally, I don't like some of the Islamic preachings that are slowly being forced on Brits, as small as they may be at this moment in time, but that discussion has been done before and nobody was going to change their opinion on the matter.
  13. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Callum Robinson has just rejoined us on loan from Villa. He hasn't played once since he was first recalled (), so it might not mean a thing. However, Villa aren't exactly in a position to be giving away forwards, so a replacement in the shape of Rickie Lambert could be on the way in.

    The Random Thread

Re: The Random Thread Well one of us is going to have to change... ...*Sigh* Unzip me.
  15. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Ings would be a good signing for you given his goal scoring record, but why would you loan him back? That's what I'm confused about. Unless it's a clause that needs to be included for Burnley to go forward with the deal.
  16. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Awful. No idea how I've lost that one when everything else went my way, and against a City reserve side at that. Talk about a royal SM screwing (and I've never really blamed SM for losing a game before). Well done, John.
  17. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread It won't be long until I get back to everyone's PM's. I'm not ignoring you
  18. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Hey, you have to feel like the Jose Mourinho of SM every now and again. I tend to stay quiet when it comes to the match engine being faulty debate, as it would sort of be a way of me admitting that I've been lucky and am not a tactical genius
  19. Re: Right now i'm listening to... (no football themed songs) 7-_fMzML4UQ This Paul McCartney guy is about to BLOW up. Good luck to him! Sarcasm. Please don't hurt me.
  20. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Watford 2-0 Tottenham A disappointing result and one that I don't think we should have been on the receiving end of, but fair play to Watford, and their goalkeeper especially! They made the most of their chances, whilst we were wasteful with all of our nine shots on target. Morrison and Peluso with the goals. Good game, Tiger. Well done With that result, our unbeaten start is now over.
