  3. Re: The Official WWE Thread I'm not really a fan of Lesnar, in all honesty. Great wrestler, and certainly one of the best in the business, but I'm just not a fan for some reason. Nothing against him or anyone who does like him, it's just my preference. I'd much prefer to see Ambrose, Rollins or Ziggler with the world title. There are others too (two I know I'd be criticised for ), but like I said the other day I haven't watched WWE in nine months or so, and even then it was brief. Not for any particular reason, we just grew apart I've been getting back into it through playing WWE 2k15.
  4. Re: The Official WWE Thread The crowd was full of arse holes last night anyway. They'd have booed anything but a Daniel Bryan win. Reigns is easily one of the best up and coming superstars in the business, although I haven't even watched WWE prior to the breakup of The Shield, so I can't personally comment on how Reigns has performed as a singles competitor. I know Ambrose is the most over out of the three, with a lot of fans on the internet wishing he'd won. It's a shame really. I really hope Vince's decision doesn't hurt the relationship between Reigns and the fans.
  5. Re: FA Cup Same as last time; who do we all want in the 5th round? We have to win our replay, but should we go through I would like either Arsenal or Man United/Cambridge. I'm easy though.
  6. Re: Liga BBVA Ratings Predictions thread I don't remember there being an issue when Suarez rose to 95, and he's done worse. He was given that rating based on his footballing ability, as has Ronaldo with his 99 rating.
  7. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Bale with his deserved rise to 99. What a landmark moment. Anyway, Tottenham beat Sunderland 2-1 last night. Goals from Cabaye and Bale put us 2-0 up in the first half, whilst a second half Gundogan goal looked to put even more pressure on us with just under half an hour to go. Luckily for us the score stayed the same, which means we remain unbeaten so far. Good game, Raz. Unlucky, mate
  8. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Looks like she isn't so out of reach after all. And I'm going.
  9. Re: FA Cup The magic of the FA Cup. Incredible! It's a shame Preston couldn't seal a win, but we're in the draw and have a replay. I bloody hate playing Sheffield United but I REALLY want us to get through. Got to keep the faith.
  10. Re: FA Cup That was a nice goal from Gestede. Made it look easier than it probably was.
  11. Re: FA Cup For anyone interested, Blackburn vs Swansea is on BBC Two Wales at half twelve. Sky channel 971 or Freeview channel 102 (I think).
  12. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread
  13. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Rating changes galore! Iniesta and Pique both get -1's, whilst Neymar gets a +1 to 94, which means he is going to put even more pressure on Di Maria and Aguero.
  14. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread We won! Like, yeah. We genuinely won a game for the first time this season! Goals from Iniesta and Aguero were enough to pick up the victory over PSG at the Nou Camp. The stats suggest that PSG should have been in the game a little more, but that's the sort of luck I've also had to put up with this season, so sorry, Nemanja good game, mate. The cherry on top is Godin rising to 93 this morning. Very good night/morning for us.
  15. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Great game' date=' Dom. It was a bit of a thriller in Manila, but at Craven Cottage instead. There isn't much difference It's always disappointing to concede a last minute goal, but I should be thankful to even have scored more than one goal, let alone all four of the shots I had on target. I'll 100% take that, even though I do find it incredibly annoying when it happens in reverse! On the transfer front: I was on the look out for a cheap backup for my CB's, and for £7.7M I'm more than happy to pick up Spahic. I don't watch an awful lot of Bundesliga but, despite his age, Spahic seems to be a regular for 3rd placed Bayer Leverkusen, and also retired and then came out of retirement on the international level after the world cup. With that, and the fact he's also 89 rated, I happily welcome him aboard. Hopefully he lasts a bit longer than Ranocchia seems to Nice doing business, Jim. It's great to see so much activity in the internal market at the minute. Especially so many deals predominantly involving cash
  16. Re: FIFA 15 Official Thread I had the same problem and this worked for me. Also, I always 'quit' games when I've finished playing them, I.e. I finish up on whatever game I'm on, go to the dashboard, press the menu button on the controller, and select quit from there
  17. Re: The Official Financial Fair Play Gameworld Thread Hmm, I wonder why interest in Mr. Juan Cuadrado has all of a sudden increased For the record, he isn't available due to him being one of the most valuable players that can play at RB on SM (when age, real life transfer speculation, etc. are taken into consideration), although I may reconsider should someone like Lahm become available for an affordable price
  18. Re: English Championship 7046 Match Report/Tranfer Gossip Thread IN THE SPURS HOTSEAT: STEVEN GERRARD (THE CAPTAIN) Q: Welcome to In The Spurs Hotseat, Steven. As club captain, you obviously played an instrumental role in Tottenham’s triumphant season last time out. How did it feel to get your hands on the title having been away from it for so long? SG: Thank you. It was a relief for me and the rest of the squad alike to finally reach the top once more. Obviously, in previous seasons we have seemed to tumble at the last hurdle, so to actually push on and maintain our position for once was a great feeling. I captained the team, but it was certainly a joint effort. Although, it is always nice to be the first one in the squad to get your hands on the trophy. Q: Having joined Tottenham all the way back in Season One, you’ve been involved in all of Tottenham’s triumphs over the years. Out of all the moments, which one is your favourite? SG: I’d say the title win in Season Three is probably my favourite. As a player, you dream of winning both domestic and European titles, and I’ve been very fortunate in that respect, but winning my first league title will always be a milestone in my career. Whatever I do and wherever I am after my days at this club, I’ll never get my hands on the Division One title for the very first time again. Q: Has there/is there any player in particular that you’ve most enjoyed playing alongside during your time at Tottenham? SG: It’s hard to narrow it down to just one player, as ‘ve been fortunate enough to play with some fantastic players in my time here. Although, I suppose as an attacking midfielder that you want nothing more than a good finisher on the end of your through balls, so I’ll to go with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robin Van Persie. Robin has obviously been at the club a lot longer than Zlatan was, but to play just behind two world class strikers was more than I could have wished for. QUICKFIRE ROUND Q: Who is the laziest player in training? SG: Inazio [Abate] is a funny one in training. He’s not necessarily lazy, but he’s much more laid back than the rest of the lads. To be fair, he’s also one of the jokers in the dressing room, so I’ll let him off. Q: Who’s the longest in the shower? SG: I don’t know, I haven’t looked. But no, the new boy, Neven [subotic], spends ages washing his hair. We don’t ask what else he gets up to during his half an hour wash but we’ll keep it clean for now. Q: Who in the dressing room has the worst taste in music? SG: That’s a tough one. A few of the younger lads like [Alex-] Oxlade and Wilfried [Zaha] are into all that grime stuff. It’s alright, but at the same time it’s a bit of a racket. For that reason, I guess I’ll go with those two. Q: Which player has the worst fashion sense? SG: I don’t exactly dress like a fashion model myself, but I’ll have to go with Rafael. He turns up to training in all sorts of gear, and don’t even get me started on some of the boots he thinks about buying. Horrendous. Thank you for sitting down and chatting to us, Steven. Just one last question before you go: Q: Just to put you on the spot once last time… Who is the best player at the club? SG: Thank you for having me! Like I’ve already said, it’s hard to narrow it down. I guess in terms of importance, Gareth [bale] and Robin [Van Persie] are the two most instrumental players in the squad. Whether they’re scoring, assisting, or doing both in the same game, the two of them always play a huge part in any success we have.
  19. Re: Official Manchester United Thread If Marquinhos is worth that based on his footballing ability alone, then I must be worth at least £9. I'll even scrub my own boots.
  20. Re: FOTY '14 Semifinal 2 You can't just kiss arse to win that MOTY award again this time around But no, I agree. Both Dan and Pedro are excellent forumers, but I've gotten to know Dan more through him being in 7046 and him playing a big part in the setup at that.

  22. Re: What tv series are you into? My house is currently being renovated which has meant that a few things have had to be moved around to make way for construction and all that. Luckily, I came across my Gimme Gimme Gimme DVD's whilst moving some stuff, so that's me sorted. I'd highly recommend it if you have a dirty sense of humour. It stars Kathy Burke, who was also in Kevin and Perry, so you just have to put two and two together to figure out the contents It's definitely one of my favourite programmes.
  23. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread IN THE SPURS HOTSEAT: STEVEN GERRARD (THE CAPTAIN) https://ec7046blog.wordpress.com/2015/01/20/in-the-spurs-hotseat-steven-gerrard-the-captain/ It's the very first edition of 'In The Spurs Hotseat'. It's basically a question and answer session that I'll most likely be using on players throughout the Spurs squad. Of course, it was only right to select the captain first. Hopefully this should increase my activity on the blog, too (I've been trying to come up something consistent for a while)
