  2. Re: English Championship 5579 - Discussion Thread won 2-1 at home against Bury courtesy first half goals from zarate and hubocan. after injuring grosskreutz a week back i bought a replacement as dries mertens but in his first game he sustains an injury . the good thing that it is only for 6 days. next up is tranmere, they have 4-5 players over 89 so they would be difficult to beat but them being at 17th gives me some hope. also phil bardsley is on sale for 7m or higher offers.
  3. Re: Forum Cup Fixtures and Results Thread well the date was 12th june
  4. Re: Darren Bent NOT rising ?! i think no european football could also be a reason for him to not rise to 91.
  5. Re: Leagues that haven't been reviewed for ages. I think that SM around 2008-2009 added as many leagues and teams as they probably could and had a schedule to review them. but most of them are not reviewed since the rating schedule went to anonymity. now i understand that it is tough to review these obscure leagues and their review is solely based on number of minutes they play. But i want SM to at least tell the SM community that which leagues would be reviewed and which won't be reviewed. I was quite happy when SM abolished their schedule and made random selections for the leagues to be reviewed. but the current scenario is still confusing and i would love if SM could do two things. 1st make clear which leagues would be reviewed once a year, twice a year, thrice a year and which leagues won't be reviewed at all. 2nd If SM is decides to omit reviewing leagues like Belarus, Slovakia , Bosnia etc which have representatives in european cups (similarly in south america) then atleast they could review and update only teams which played in respective continental events.
  6. Re: Leagues that haven't been reviewed for ages. Slovakian league last reviewed 8-10-2009

He was the best player for me this season so i think i'll give up on play-off spots this season. also anyone willing to sell a W/F less than 25 and rated 88. willing to give to 87's for him. EDIT: a loan for 4 weeks or so would also help.

  17. Re: My PC is broken PLEASE HELP! first thing that came to my mind was a joke by hugh dennis having computer problems. let me come and swear at it. jokes apart. If your computer starts from the safe mode then it should some virus which is not allowing your PC to start normally. firstly if you are able to log in safemode go to mycomputer/C drive/Windows/ prefetch. once here delete all files. also delete any temporary files. now restart your PC. if your PC goes into normal mode than scan your PC for virus or any other unknown softwares. also check for any suspicious task running on your computer. Usually if you find any suspicious software it will not allow you to delete it. so first, try delete it in safe mode or search for a software that deletes files during boot up.

  22. Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Histon Daily Outspoken Histon manager says "We aim to be a self sufficient club". By Prateek Jain May 27th 2011 Just a day before the season opener against cambridge the Histon manager said he wants his club to be self sufficient. Histon manager laughing after having a jibe on their local rivals Cambridge. This statement is beleived to be a dig at their saturday's opponent Cambridge aswell as other Division V clubs. Though the statements seems audacious and radical but will it bring success or failure to the club, well that has to be seen. The manager issued yet another bold statement when asked about his strategies against Cambridge. He said gaving us insights on his squad for the match he said Follow us for live action as Histon hosts Cambridge in this nailbiting season opener at the Bridge road.

  24. Re: Scouting Resources umm... you need to watch games or atleast a few videos to scout players. stats would only help you to find cheap moneyspinners. transfermarkt, soccerway, football-lineups ,espnsoccernet etc are reliable enough to search moneymakers.
  25. Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Match Preview Histon --------------------------------------------Cambridge United ----------------- Competition :- Division 5 Date :- Saturday 28 May 2011 Referee :- Alan Wiley Saturday night will mark the beginning of yet another new season in english football. Histon manager said he will be looking to finish in top half of the Division V this season. On the contrary, many pundits and even Histon's chairman believes they would be lucky if they were able to avoid last two spots in division V. Histon's first challenge will be against a very formidable cambridge team who will be looking to get all three points at Bridge Road. Though, Histon's manager claims that he will be provide a stern test for their opposition and will be aiming for a bright start to the new season. Previous Form charlton 2-0 Histon Histon was easily beaten by the division III team at The valley as the Uruguayan striker Abel Hernandez struck two past a hapless David Knight. Cambridge 2-1 Dagenham and Redbridge Cambridge defied the odds to beat the Division III team. They came back from a goal behind courtesy a screamer from Iturbe and a smart lob from David Partridge. Players to Watch out Histon : Edin Visca- young winger from Bosnia had signed for club's record transfer fee is already being touted as the best player Histonever had. Edin Visca Cambridge: Juan Iturbe - already touted as future star for Albicelestes. Many pundits claims that he will be the best player in Division V this season and after seeing his goal in the pre season, I don't doubt it. Juan Iturbe Prediction Cambridge have a stronger team but Histon won't lay down for them. It will Histon's defense versus Cambridge's attack. Verdict Histon 1:3 Cambridge
