O'Donnell reacted to Sky_Blue_Gould in I finally did it - my greatest SM achievement.
Sorry for such a random topic in this section but I really wanted to share with the community the fact that I have finally achieved my biggest SM goal.
Let me set the picture. February 27th 2009, I decide to take on the challenge of Division 4 (bottom division in an EC at the time) side Darlington. Since then we've seen 6 seasons completed and now we have just 2 games left in season 7.
My challenge to get from D4 up the ladder to D1 seemed a virtual impossible task as at the time I wasn't the manager I am now, I was far less knowledgeable but still gave it my best.
End of season 1 came and I'd somehow won D4 and got promotion to D3. At the end of season 2 I was left in the play-off places of D3 but managed to get through it and move on up to D2. Season 3 was a big struggle in the league. I managed to stay up comfortable but didn't challenge the top places. I did however win the English Cup. It's was season 4 when I hit my massive target of moving up to division 1 after I ended the season runner up of D2.
It all stalled after this. I wasn't even close to challenging the better teams and it took 2 seasons of total rebuilding and money making which then brought me towards season 7 (the longest I've ever spent at 1 club) with a side I thought capable of getting a top 6 finish with the use of good tactics. A great season followed however and now with just 2 games remaining I can boast being the champion of D1! I'm 8 points clear of 2nd placed Manchester United after a 2-0 win against Liverpool tonight!
Apologies for such a long essay but finally after 305 games in charge I have taken my beloved Darlington from the bottom division to now be crowned the champions of EC3200.
The side that did it for me:

    J.Hart
    D.Schwaab--J.Boateng--P.Mexes--L.Antonini
    I.Abate--C.Marchisio--M.Arteta--F.Coentrao
    M.Borriello--J.Saviola
    Subs: K.Westwood, P.Jones, L.Sane, R.Sandro, T.Kroos, M.Balotelli, D.Sturridge
    Other notable players: L.Holtby, S.Coleman, D.Wilson, J.Bruma, P.Van Aanholt, J.Livermore

I know that most won't care but I just had to share this. It's been the greatest thing I've ever done on SM and means that the 305 games and 2 and a half years of focusing on this team has paid off.
    One final thing, YESSSSSSSSSSS!

    Division 4 Season Predictions
    The Top 3:
    1st Brentford
    2nd Northampton
    3rd Accrington Stanley
The new Brentford boss Kieran surely has spruced up the relegated side, with Kenwyne Jones upfront and Badelj playing behind him they are sure to cause everybody problems. Northampton have the highest rated squad in the division however Eltons lack of basic knowledge could let him down. Neil still has a few transfer deals to sort out but history shows that the SM veteran is likely to make an appearance up top as usual.
    The play-off teams:
    4th: Wrexham
    5th: Morecambe
    6th: Hereford United
    7th: Stockport
Banarby has made Wrexham shoot up the rating scales and he could very well achieve back-to-back promotions. They could get automatic however they are going to have to be a bit more tactical thinking to outsmart the teams above them. I've put myself in there as I feel I have improved the squads depth to be able to cope with the 3 games a week sessions. Hereford looked doomed last season however smut came in and not only saved them but drastically improved their squad rating. A team to watch out for especially with Morison upfront. Stockport have kept there transfers quiet this season however they have managed to sign quality players under peoples noses with the likes of top class keeper Sergio. Stockport like Hereford are defo a team to watch out for.
    Darkhorses:
    Lincoln City
    Torquay United
Lincolns ever so quiet manager P Clark is doing a great job at the club he supports, not many people are aware of him as he doesnt post often. His side just missed out on a play-off spot last season and he has signed some decent players. Torquay has a new manager who has immediately put his own stamp on the club by signing a large bunch of Brazilian risers, if the time comes and they do rise they could be dangerous.
    Relegation favourites:
    23rd Oxford United
    24th Macclesfield
Oxford are beginning to look like a rejected side manager wise, and Macclesfield are falling behind rating wise although their loans may help them.

Re: English Championship 7777 Previews & Predictions Thread

    Division 5 Season Predictions.
    1st Place: Grimsby Town.
After missing out on promotion through play-offs last season, the Napolifan will be bursting to gain promotion this season and I believe he has the transfer knowledge/ cash advantage in order too do so.
    2nd: AFC Wimbledon
    3rd: Gateshead
    4th: York City
    5th: Darlington
The Wombles are always going to be a dominant force in division 5, Jozua was unfortunate to miss out on promotion last season as Wrexham pipped them by a yard. They signed a secret weapon known as Joel Obi, who is going to be a huge riser for the club. Gateshead messed up last season but something tells me that crazy guy Cedd can work it out this year. Always fancy York to do well too, the quiet David Jones seems to have a long term plan as his squad seems mainly young. Darlington are in there purely for their squad ratings being so high.
Dark Horses: Forest Green Rovers and Altrincham
Wow what a story for these two clubs! Forest Green were looking to be one of the most rejected clubs last season, then tactical wizzkid J.Hutchinson came in and has completely turned them around. Same can be said for Altrincham, they were destined for the Wooden Spoon last season however Wong came in and like FGR they were completely transformed. Defo fancy these guys to cause surprises this year.
    Wooden Spoon: Fleetwood Town
Got it last season and I think they will do the same, no Depth, no secure manager and the ratings are very low.

    Premier League Form Guide
Here we have every teams wins/losses/draws split into the 2 halves of the season. We can see where and when the title was won and relegation was decided.
    First half of the season:

    Second half of the season:

    Green = Win
    Blue = Draw
    Red = Loss
After a great start to the season, Everton went from 1st to 14th in the form guide. This put them out of title contention completely and they just lost out of Champions League football next season.
On the other hand, we have Blackpool and Tottenham. They were 5th and 9th after the first half of the season. But a dramatic change in their fortunes saw them both rise up the table after finishing joint 1st in the 2nd half. Blackpool saw this run put them right in the title race, but eventually missing out and took a fantastic 2nd place. Tottenhams great form rose them from mid table mediocrity to Champions League qualifiers!
At the other end of the table, we have Aston Villa.. Looking good in 8th at halfway and felt pretty secure in the Europa League spots. Sadly, they had the worst form in the 2nd half with just 14 points in the last 19 games. This saw them drop awfully into the relegation scrap. They just survived, since the teams around them dropping points, Villa finished 17th and will have to improve alot if they are to survive next season.
Bottom at halfway and favourites to go down, Wolves completely turned things around by finishing 3rd in the 2nd half of the season. The new signings and formation was what changed their fortunes. Wolves, with 9 wins from the last 12 games, pulled away from relegation and eventually finished an incredible 9th, ensuring Europa League football next season.

Morecambe have complted the signing of 28 year old Stephen Dobbie for a fee believed to be around £2.6m. The ex-Swansea player signed a 4 year deal yesterday and has said that he is glad to be back in England.

Alex: Morecambe vs Bradford is our biggest test of the season.
Theres a big match in division 4 tonight as Alexes Morecambe take on the poshboy's Bradford City. The match has sold out over 4000 tickets in the ground so the attendence prediction is high. Alex has said that Bradford will be a very tough side after being overtaken by Morecambe in the league.
    Team news
Morecambe will be showing off a lot of their new signings tonight however Dobbie and Rooney will be unavailable due to match fitness.
Bradford have a fully fit squad ahead of this tie. Loanee Kyle Walker is also fully fit and ready to play for the side.
    Other 7777 news
In other news, it has been a busy period for most clubs as the transfer season was afoot. Lots of teams bulked a lot in the mid season transfer period such as Bournemouth, Chesterfield, Huddersfield and Leeds with most of the transfers being external.
In terms of the forum. Ryans new Super 6 game has been successful with over 30 people taking part in the new predicting game. Peoples teams have also had their own progress this season reviewed by CCFC94 as he posted a mid-season report for all sides this week.

English Championship 7777: Season One FA Cup Quarter Finals
    Predictions
    By ruggermad
    Quarter Final Draw:
    Stoke City vs Darlington
    Chelsea vs Leeds United
    Aston Villa vs Carlisle United
    Walsall vs Birmingham City
    Stoke City vs Darlington

Stoke City's route to the quarter finals:

    Round 1: 0-6 vs Southampton
Round 2: 0-2 vs Luton Town
    Round 3: 2-1 vs Watford
Round 4: 0-1 vs Swansea City

Darlington's route to the quarter finals:

Round 1: 0-1 vs Northampton Town
Round 2: 2-3 vs Barrow AFC
Round 3: 3-1 vs Stockport County
Round 4: 1-3 vs Bristol Rovers

It could be said that both teams have had a relatively easy route to this stage, with neither having played a Premiership team on their way to the quarter finals. However you have to play who is in front of you and both teams have dispatched their opponents professionally. This will be a welcome day out for the Division Five club however, with the opportunity to go to a Premier League ground likely to attract a large following. However I can't see Darlington's young team troubling Stoke too much although I don't think it will be an embarrassing defeat.
    Stoke City 4 - 2 Darlington

    Chelsea vs Leeds United

Chelsea's route to the quarter finals:

    Round 1: 1-3 vs Morecambe
Round 2: 2-0 vs Cardiff City
    Round 3: 1-1 vs Liverpool (5-4 pens)
    Round 4: 1-6 vs Tottenham

Leeds United's route to the quarter finals:

    Round 1: BYE
Round 2: 1-2 vs Sheffield United
    Round 3: 0-1 vs Portsmouth
Round 4: 2-3 vs Plymouth Argyle

Leeds United travel to West London in what will be a great day out to Stamford Bridge for their fans in what is another away day in the cup for Leeds. They are yet to play at home in this tournament this term so to get them this far through the cup is admirable and a show of the manager's skill and knowledge. Chelsea have had to fight through tough games against Liverpool and Tottenham especially, but have shown their worth, and will be encouraged by the appointment of their new manager. Leeds on the other hand have been very busy in the transfer market, investing in their team and bringing in top players such as Salomon Kalou to lead their front line. However I believe the blues will be just too strong for the boys from the North, and will eventually come through, although I expect Leeds to raise a few eyebrows with a good performance.
Chelsea 1 - 1 Leeds United (Chelsea win through penalties)
    Aston Villa vs Carlisle United

Aston Villa's route to the quarter finals:

Round 1: 1-3 vs Notts County
    Round 2: 5-1 vs Wrexham
Round 3: 0-2 vs Peterborough United
Round 4: 3-0 vs Bolton Wanderers

Carlisle United route to the quarter finals:

    Round 1: 2-1 vs Histon
Round 2: 2-0 vs Rotherham United
Round 3: 2-3 vs Shorpe United
Round 4: 1-1 vs Manchester United (5-3 pens)

For giant killers Carlisle, the cup quarter finals bring a welcome break from the league, which sees them in 20th in Division 3. However, last round they dispatched of European Finalists Manchester United in what was no doubt the result of Round Four and as such Aston Villa will have to watch them closely and not be complacent. However, the fact this game is being player in Birmingham and not Carlisle leads me to think that any chance Carlisle had has been distinguished.
    Aston Villa 3 - 0 Carlisle United
    Walsall vs Birmingham City

Walsall's route to the quarter finals:

Round 1: 2-3 vs Bath City
Round 2: 0-1 vs Crewe Alexandra
    Round 3: 0-3 vs Everton
Round 4: 4-1 vs Burton Albion

Birmingham City's route to the quarter finals:

Round 1: 4-0 vs AFC Wimbledon
Round 2: 2-3 vs West Ham United
    Round 3: 3-1 vs Reading
    Round 4: 2-1 vs Millwall

Birmingham may have looked upon this draw as favourable but I would argue that it is anything but that. Walsall have shown they are handy against Premier League opposition when they dispatched Everton on Merseyside, so in theory they could easily turn City over when they're on their own patch. This coupled with the fact that of the teams left, Walsall have two of the joint top scorers in the cup. They have also beaten fellow quarter finalists Aston Villa in the shield by no less that four goals to one. Birmingham are going to have to be on their toes with this one. I think Walsall can be the surprise of the round and of the whole competition. Get through this one and it's only one game to get through to have a shot at glory. Squeeky bum time....
    Walsall 2 - 1 Birmingham City

    TIE OF THE ROUND
    Chelsea vs Leeds United
Leeds have a massive opportunity here to turn over a massive club in Chelsea. They have the squad, they have the manager. Do they have the belief?

    RUGGERMAD'S TIP
Dark horses Walsall to beat Birmingham

Re: English Championship 7777 Founders Cup & O'Donnell Cup Thread
    Founders Cup Round Up

After the first Founders Cup idea came to the fore last month no-one (even myself!) ever expected this sort of result from it. In this mini round up I'm going to look through each team's performance throughout the tournament.
    Leeds.
The winners & deservedly so. If it wasn't for a loss against Bournemouth in the 9th turn then they'd have gone through the cup unbeaten. Their main reason behind their success was a strong defence & the fact they only conceded 8 goals in the group stage echoes this.
    Star man - Silvestre Valera.
His hat-trick in the final game saw the Whites win the cup & was the club's top scorer.
    Bournemouth.
Desperately unlucky to miss out on getting the first piece of silverware of the season. Considering they are a division 3 side then they have performed incredibly & if they can transfer their Founders Cup form into league form then I'll fully expect to see them promoted come the end of the season. They scored a shedload & beat a few teams by outscoring them.
    Star man - Leandro Caruso.
The striker's 9 goals in the group stage seen The Cherries get through their group. He ended up getting the top scorer award along with teammate Pelendier Dagoberto.
    Cardiff.
It was quite a miserable start for the Bluebirds with a 1-4 loss to Chesterfield. However since then they picked up & thanks to the Founders Cup their league form picked up a bit as well. Their lack of cutting edge saw them knocked out to eventual winners Leeds, although steps have been made to rectify this.
    Star man - Bojan.
Not loved by the fans yet, but scored 4 times for the Bluebirds & gave a pretty good account of himself in some games.
    Boro.
One of the favourites from the outset, Boro eased their way into the semis with a game to spare. They set out their intentions in the first game when they pummelled Morecambe 7-0. Boro were the top scorers from their group but also had a mean, mean back line. Despite finishing strongly from their group they stuttered at the semi-final stage & were beaten by Bournemouth on away goals.
    Star man - Gary Medel.
The defender was a key component to their back 4 & also bagged 2 goals.
    Villa.
Poor management cost Villa in the end with manager Froz3n asking for a game to be void. Bournemouth benefitted from that game and thus went through. Apart from that the youth/reserve side of Villa were a mixed bag. Getting clean sheets was their problem with them only getting one all tournament. Yet in saying this they did usually play a young team & in the future this will bear fruit.
    Star man - Roberto Soldado.
The striker led by example, netting 5 goals. He was their top performer & will be looked up to by the youngsters.
    Chesterfield.
Chesterfield looked a certain bet for one of the top 2 spots in Group 2, but a catastrophic end to their fixtures saw them finish a respectable 3rd. They were impressive on the road & won 4 from 5 games, scoring 16 goals away from home.
    Star man - Augusto Marcel.
The striker was looking like he was going to get the top scorer award after getting 9 goals in 10 games. He also blasted 4 past Cardiff in the opening game.
    Southend.
Southend's opening game saw them go top after dismantling Stevenage 4-0. But since then things fell apart & they lost more than half of their remaining games. Their campaign was summed up by Villa's 6-2 win over then in the penultimate game.
    Star man - Kostyantyn Yaroshenko.
He top scored for Southend & got a quarter of their goals.
    Southampton.
Southampton's start suggested that they were going to power through the group after a 5-2 opening day win over Wrexham. Their home form was a huge letdown though & if they had won more than the one game that they did win, then things may well be different.
    Star man - Adam Lallana.
The young man impressed with 5 goals to his name as he & Ricky Lambert formed a good partnership.
    Darlington.
Overall, they gave a good account of themselves. An obvious highlight is beating Southend. They managed to get 7 points & scored 16 goals in the process.
    Star man - Alexandre Lacazette.
With him getting roughly a third of all Darlington goals, Lacazette has to get it.
    Wrexham.
The boys from North Wales did themselves proud not to finish bottom in Group 2. Their sole win came courtesy of a 6-1 mauling of Morecambe. You can't help but think they should have conceded less than the 37 they did though.
    Star man - Ciro Immobile.
He bagged an impressive 5 goals including a hatful in Wrexham's win.
    Stevenage.
They did finish last but managed to get a win so things weren't as bleak as they appear to be. That win was an oustanding 3-2 victory at Villa Park. Lack of goals was their problem & they failed to score 5 times.
    Star man - Ivan Nastevski.
Hitting the back of the net 4 times for a team that finished bottom of their group is a good achievement.
    Morecambe.
The only team to go without the feeling of grabbing 3 points. This is one of the shocks of the tournament that a Division 4 side would go 10 games without winning. The main reason for this is the amount of goals they conceded - 37.
Star man - Pierre De Wit.
The only man to come out of the Founders Cup with any credit for Morecambe.
    Onto the awards:

    Top scorers.

Pelendier Dagoberto (left) & Leandro Caruso (right) get the award for the top scorer in season 1. These two were vital in Bournemouth's success in ths competition with their 20 goals.

    Player of the tournament.

With 4 votes apiece, these two top players couldn't be split. Leandro Caurso (left) & Augusto Marcel (right) share the award for the best player in the Cup.
    Over achievers.

Only one team this award could go to. Beaten finalists Bournemouth take this award after a fantastic campaign.

    Under achievers.

This one has to go to Morecambe. No wins from 10 means huge disappointment.
The Southend manager has jumped ship so it means we have one place to fill. Who will fill that place? We'll have to wait and see but until then we have the O'Donnell Tribute trophy to play for. & there we have it folks. After 56 games, 267 goals & 118 different goalscorers the first Founders Cup trophy has reached it's end. I'd like to thank all the participants who took part as it's them who made the competition the success it has been, roll on next year!

    Bury vs Crewe Alexandra

Gigg Lane - Home of Bury
    Overview
Crewe Alexandra's first test under new management is a tough trip to promotion chasing Bury. Sitting in 8th the home side have picked up 12 points from their last 6 games. In comparison Crewe linger one point above the drop zone after a run of just 1 win in their last 6. Crewe's biggest hope of success will come down to if they get the new manager bug. A.Gould has set about altering his squad and the players will be trying their best to stay at the club.

    The Crewe manager taking notes.
    Team News
Bury - The home team are in excellent shape and have all players available for selection. Highly rated Emidio Rafael is expected to feature along with the clubs top scorer Anthony Limbombe.
Crewe - Injuries and suspensions have hit the side hard. Luke Murphy faces another couple of days on the sideline whilst Nick Powell may not feature again this season. Clayton Donaldson is also out, suspended for 2 more games. Fitness is also an issue and key men Coppola, Maranhao and Rocastle struggling to be fit for the game.

    Managers Notes
    Prediction
It will be a struggle for Gould in his first game. Inheriting a team including injured players on a bad run will make it difficult for him to turn things around so quickly. It could be an easy day for Bury, but at the same time travelling fans are expectant and desperately hope for a surprise win. With Crewe one of the favourites to go down Gould will need to turn the tide fast if he is to prove the doubters wrong.
    Prediction
    Bury 2-0 Crewe

English Championship 7777 Division 4 Predictions, Turn 14

    SOUTHEND V's CHELTENHAM TOWN
9th Plays 10th in what should be an entertaining game at roots hall, Southend will go into this game without a manager, but caretaker manager Stuart robson im sure will have the boys ready. Southend themselves have no injury/suspension worries which is not the case for the travelling Cheltenham town, Players like uchebo, ginczek, lopez and mujic will miss the trip through injuries and that i feel will cost them dearly in a game which could see any formation from the opposistion.
Prediction : Southend 2-1 Cheltenham Town
    SHREWSBURY TOWN V's GILLINGHAM
Tim Klein's Shrews host high flying gillingham at the New Meadow on wednesday evening with forecast of rain across the town i dont see many fans showing there faces here, one injury concern for the shrews in the shape of CM Shinnie, none whatsoever for the travelling contingent, gillingham have a fantastic squad and all credit to manager Finn Turnbull for the work he has done with them and i feel he shall continue to be rewarded in the shape of 3 points on wednesday.
    Prediction : Shrewsbury 0-2 Gilingham
    MORECOMBE V's WYCOMBE
7th place Morecombe hold host to 14th placed Wycombe on wednesday evening, with morecombe excelling themselves this season many would say this would go the way of the homeside, but with a patch of form over the past couple of weeks Wycombe have climbed away from the relegation spots and have given themselves a shake, but this has taken its toll on the team fitness, and many players will not be ready for wednesday night so i opt once again for the high flying Morecombe to take this.
    Prediction : Morecombe 3-0 Wycombe
    ROTHERHAM UNITED V's NORTHAMPTON TOWN
2nd place Rotherham entertain 3rd place Northampton, Both Harry Newton and Elton will be looking for 3 points here to stamp there authority on the league, one injury concern for both teams but nothing major that will upset the team selection wednesday morning, really tough one to call here so im going to sit on the preverble fence so to speak.
    Prediction : Rotherham 1-1 Northampton
    LINCOLN CITY V's TORQUAY UNITED
Mr clark and his boys on wednesday night will hold host to the travelling contingent of mid table Torquay united, both sides not in the best of form currently and are very inconsistent, Lincoln winning 2 of there last 6 fixtures and Torquay taking only 4 points, Lincolns side is decidedly weaker than the travelling side and with Kong still out for 3 weeks, there wont be much change in the selection or formation, althought with Torquay utd manager pushing his players to near exhaustion this could go either way, but im going for the fit side.
    Prediction : Lincoln 2-0 Torquay
    PORT VALE V's OXFORD
Adam's Port vale entertain Aidans Oxford at Vale park on wednesday which see's 13th play 20th, Oxford will be looking for a win to give them breathing space between themselves and the relegation spots and Port vale will be looking to kick on after beating Torquay on the road last saturday, Both sides seem on par in terms of quality but Vale find themselves without A.Rey(Injury) and Y.Court(suspension) even though i see them having enough in the tank to secure a draw.
Prediction : Port Vale 0-0 Oxford
    ALDERSHOT TOWN V's MACCLESFIELD TOWN
Aldershot town currently propping the rest up face 23rd place Macclesfield Town at the recreation ground on wednesday night, it may only be a point but Aldershot town will be buzzing still after picking up a point on saturday away at oxford, Macclesfield will have the added bonus of a new manager still find his feet to take the boys to Aldershot, it didnt go to plan in his first game in charge but there were signs of improvement, unfortunatley i feel it will take him another week before he takes any points home, Aldershot take this for me.
    Prediction : Aldershot 1-0 Macclesfield
    ACCRINGTON STANLEY V's BURTON ALBION
Neil's Accrington hold host to current table toppers John's Burton albion in what could be a fantastic game, both teams are in fine form winning there last 5 fixtures in all competitions, both teams are extremely strong and even with Maghoma and Merchan on the shelve due to injuries i fancy burton to take this in Game of the night fashion.
    Prediction : Accrington 2-4 Burton
    STOCKPORT COUNTY V's HEREFORD UTD
16th plays 19th here in a tie im not overly excited about reporting on, both sides in and out of form and so unpredictable you could throw a blanket over them they are so closely matched, Stockport will be without Winger Nieto who is still recovering from a thigh strain, whereas Hereford will be without Purdie, Cosic and Visser due to injuries, nothing much more to say, Flop of the night for me, stalemate.
    Prediction : Stockport 0-0 Hereford
    BURY V's CREWE ALEXANDRA
8th plays 21st here in what looks like will be a scrappy affair, both sides will be looking for a win not only for 3 points but for Bury to close the gap on the top of the table and Crewe to jump away from the relegation spots, Bury find themselves with no injury or suspension worries which couldnt be more the opposite for the struggling Crewe, Murphy and Powell will miss the tie due to injuries and C.donaldson will miss out due to suspension. Although the difference in league posistion the sides are fairly even and without sitting on the fench again im going to predict this as Shock of the night.
    Prediction : Bury 1-2 Crewe
    BARNET V's BRADFORD CITY
22nd place Barnet hosts 5th place Bradford, Bradford have been in impressive form of late unbeaten in there last 3 outings, Barnet slightly poor of late but with a decent win over crewe last time out nobody could say they wont be up for it, Just the two injuries to report and they both come from Barnet in the shape of A.Uddin ad J.Parkes, Overall strength i believe will show here, with players including Diakite, Ghoulam and Calvente with the later being the key to breaking down highly rated Anders Lindegaard in nets for the home side.
    Prediction : Barnet 0-2 Bradford

    Issue 3

Editors note: Sorry about the lack of issues over the past few weeks. Exams, proms and other socials have got in the way but I hope to be much more productive now there over.

Players return from injuries as Morecambe hover over the play-offs.
Morecambe have spent the past few weeks moving in and out the play-offs as they head into the near mid-season point.
However around turn 10 the Shrimps suffered a major player drought as many key players suffered from injuries, with over 3 player being injured at one point. Sabo, Tosun and a suspended Bostock were all out at one point with the first two having 3 week injuries. But it is looking up for the squad as players recover and return to training with only Nakazawa and Bostock left to return to training.
    The Midweek match.
    Morecambe 3-0 Stevenage
On Wednesday. Morecambe we're 9th and we're looking to get back into the play-offs.
And get into the play-offs they did. The match saw Morecambe beat Stevenage 3 goals to nil.
    Key moments:
28 minutes: The ball is played square to Ángelo BALANTA on the edge of the box who rasps home a screamer!1-0
33 minutes: Yellow Card BOOKED - After raising his arms Ivan NASTEVSKI receives an instant caution.
43 minutes: Using all his skill Murat TOSUN darts past the defenders and drives the ball past the keeper!2-0
54 minutes: SENT OFF - Ivan NASTEVSKI recieves a second booking for time wasting
59 minutes: A dangerous corner is whipped in and Carlos SALOM nods the ball home! 3-0
    The Big Saturday Preview
Morecambes run in off tough games continues as they travel to 2nd place Gillingham as they pursue the play-off spots.
    Doubts and Injuries:
    Gillingham: Koch (Doubt, fitness)
Morecambe:Nakazawa (Shoulder), Bostock (Ankle), Finn (Doubt, fitness).
    Possible Morecambe lineup.

    In other news.
There has been a merry go round of managerial changes in the setup. With Manchester City hiring Benjamin Warrilow as SoPs replacement, however Benjamins touchline ban will still be in place for his matches at Manchester City. Watford have also appointed veteren irishmanager as their new lead as Nutz4Football calls it quits. The manager comes into the job of the back of his impressive form with Sheffield Wednesday in 4132 although recently that form has dipped as his old side Crewe face a battle at the bottom of division 4.
Also today, Aldershot announced that they had sacked their manager aaron begz. He left the club after 6 straight defeats and with the club left in 24th the chairman felt he needed a change. And so oddly enough the Forest Green Rovers James Brady stepped in. After stating his loyalty to be with Rovers 5 games ago he announced that he had joined Aldershot today. Looks like impressive form and a division 5 dream trip to Premier league West Brom just wasn't enough for him at the Rovers.
And after the shock exit of Joe. Norwich have announced Ladieslovekevin as their new manager.
Some clubs however are still looking for managers, those include Southend, Crewe and Macclesfield after Stuart H resigned a few days ago.
And finally, Bournemouth have made it to the final of the founders cup after knocking out Boro in the semi final. Mikey now faces Leeds in the final and is hoping to grab some silverwere for the division 3 side.
