  1. Any of the managers in this still alive?
  2. In a surprising turn of events at Pride Park. Derby County have re-appointed Stephen Holland back as there new Manager. Holland joined the club on the 5th of March 2011 and lead them to Championship Play Off glory. Half way through his first outing in the Premier League Derby laid in the top four. He then moved on to Manchester city but a distaurous first season led to many City fans wanting his head. The club had good spells in the following seasons but never lived up to expectations and he was sacked after 161 Games. Holland said in a brief interview about the move “It’s good to be back at the club I had my best seasons here. My move didn’t work out as much as I wanted it to, the first season was terrible and my rebuilding was slow and the owners didn’t enjoy that so I was sent my marching orders which I cannot complain as it was my own poor decisions that lead to the sacking. I'm looking forward to working with the current players and the players I'm hoping to bring in. All I want is return this team back to the heights we reached last time I was in charge Derby have been on a downward spiral since Holland’s move with back to back relegations finishing bottom both times. With the future looking bleak for the club. A play off victory two years later gave the Derby fans something to cheer about for the first time in four seasons. The last three years has been a massive struggle with three failed attempts at the play offs but can Holland work his magic once again? Only time will tell Derby currently lay 9th , five points off a play off spot with seven games to go
  3. Finally built a pretty decent team De Gea 85 Alba 81 - Pique 84 - *TOTS* Garay 88 - Zabaleta 82 Iniesta - 89 Fabregas 85 - Mata 85 Di Maria 86 Falcao 88 - *TOTS* Martinez 87 Only used TOTS Martinez once so far but he scored a hat trick in that game so I guess he's pretty decent. Made about 35k last few weeks off offline/online tournies. Best player i got in the packs was TOTS Dominquez

  11. Re: Rising From The Ashes - FC Barcelona A Barcelona master class strolled them to a 5-0 La Liga win for Barcelona over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames Stephen Holland's side enjoyed long spells of unrelenting pressure and produced some fine football, ans Barca put themselves in a dominating situation after capitalising on there chances. Referee: Ante Vucemilovic Attendance: 22,105 Barcelona: Valdes (8), Toure (9), Adriano (7), Vermaelen (8), Ziegler (6), Keita (9) (Carded), Eboue (8), Afellay (9), Pizarro (8), Bahebeck (9), Mathieu (9) (MOTM) Athletic Club: Serantes (8), Bustinza (6), Magdaleno (5), Laporte(6), Lopez (6), Benat (6), Guarrotxena (6), Jonxa (6), Raul Sanchez (6), Zabin (6), Muniain (6) Athletic goalkeeper Jon Ander Serantes had a nightmare start with two goals being scored in 6 minutes with Jean-Christophe Bahebeck tapping home after Serantes had split Eboue's cross and two minutes later with a Magdaleno back pass coming straight to Serantes who misssed the ball and it rolled into the net behind him. The visitors hardly troubled Victor Valdes at the other end and they rarely looked like picking up revenge for the earlier 1-0 defeat to Barcelona this season. Barca's dominace in front of goal continued early in the second period. Keita broke away from his marker and drove it into the bottom corner to make it three. Spanish international Mathieu made it 4-0 after Keita's corner fell to him and he kneed it home. Benat forced Valdes into action with less than twenty minutes left, as the former Real Betis star found space in the left side of the area and shot across goal. It did not take long for Barca to wake back up, though. The hosts produced a fine free-flowing move down the right in the fifth minute and, after Adriano's cut-back, Pizarro fired a first-time effort straight at Serantes. Barca's superiority continued to grow and Afellay should have done better with 75 minutes on the clock. Bahebeck puzzled the Athletic defence with a jinking run and, after creating space for himself, the 21-year-old blazed over from the edge of the area. They were kept at bay for the first time in the match as Aymeric Laporte produced a fine block to halt a Pizarro's shot and then Serantes denied Bahebeck from point-blank range. The victory was wrapped up with eight minutes left as Bahebeck benefitted from Affellay's excellent run down the right, before placing an effort into the bottom right to score his second of the night On form Bahebeck celebrating after banging in another two goals
  12. Re: The Progress Championship Lovely losing 2-0 to a Wigan 13 matches undefeated stopped by a unmanaged team
  13. Re: The Progress Championship Disappointing draw to bottom side Anderlecht but on the bright side our unbeaten streak goes to 13.

  15. Re: FIFA 14 Official Thread Still playing this though to me not getting Fifa 15 until Christmas. Really enjoying it as i am currently playing what is my favourite career in all my time playing it. Pretty much started with a Lazio side sold every one over 23 and I'm only able to buy players that were under 23 when I bought them. Team is De Gea 82 (Leali 75) Marquinhos 83 (Lascelles 79) Illori 82 (Umtiti 79) Varane 87 (De Vrij 81) Dier 83 (Migallanco *Regen* 64) Rodriquez 82 (Shaw 75) Pogba 85 (Clasie 81) Bakkali 85 (Oxlade Chamberlain 81) Cataldi 82 (Muniain 81) Lucas 90 (Rozzi 82) Lukaku 85 (Campbell 80) So four seasons in and I'v won a Supercoppa that I won in first game. Best I'v done in competitions is third in the league twice, Last 16 of Europa League, Last 8 of Champions League(Lost to Real Madrid by 1 goal) and Runner Up in Coppa Italia. In the 2017/18 where I pretty much want to dominate everything. I also have about 15 Million in the bank so I can hopefully replace Cataldi. Have to say Lukaku is the most OP striker scores 30+ goals every season

  19. Re: Rising From The Ashes - FC Barcelona Stephen Holland's Barçelona continued their poor start to the league campaign at the Camp Nou this evening, being held by Elche, Neymar injured. Two changes were made to the side who drew against Real Valladolid with Bahebeck and Toure coming in for Samper being dropped out to the bench and Delaplace out of the team Referee: Andy Hall (England) Attendance: 44,669 Barcelona: Valdes (6), Toure (7), Adriano (7), Vermaelen (7), Ziegler (5) (Carded), Keita (6) (Carded), Eboue (7), Afellay (8) (MOTM), Pizarro (8), Bahebeck (7), Mathieu (7) Elche CF: Herrera (8), Suarez (6), Cisma (6), Lomban (6), Aurtenetxe (7), Fajr (6), Mosquera (7), Adrian (8), Coro (6), Fidel (6), Feghouli (7) It was clear from the start that Elche had come to get the win and Barça took weren't expecting it with Gonzalez Adrian hitting a peach of a free kick underneath the wall after Adriano had brought down Mosquera. Suarez hit the post after a lovely turn on 21 minutes and Adrian also rattled the bar with a shot 10 minutes later. Barça would be frustrated in their opening half of league action, Bahebeck popped up with Barcelona's first chance on 33rd minutes, controlling a cross from Afellay and volleying it towards goal forcing Herrera to make his first save of the afternoon. Afellay was once again on the attack and sent in a poor cross which sailed over one and rolled out to Ziegler cut in fantastically and hit a fine shot which was greatly saved by Herrera Elche fans after the opening goal Almost from the kick off, Barcelona tried to hit Elche on the break and as Toure reached a Ziegler corner but Herrera just about saved it. A few minutes later Pizarro chipped the Elche defence and Afellay made no mistake to open his Liga Adelante account. Elche had more space as Barcelona tried to push on for a winner and Coro almost took advantage on 67 minutes, dancing through the defence to almost round off an excellent piece of play but Valdes spread himself well to save. The final minutes were tense with Vermaelen sending in a long ball to the now attacking Mathieu who unleashed a rocket towards goal but Herrera got finger tips to send it to the post
