  1. Re: Ribery Yanker this is getting a bit off topic. The main point is Franck Ribery deserves a 95. But so do other players in the Bundesliga. I will quote myself on this. "Bayern Munchen will finish no worse then the quarter finals in the 2008/2009 Champions League." The Premiere League is not the best league in the world. First of all there are so many things wrong with it. Two of the major ones being the dominance of the big four clubs and the widening gap between the premiership clubs and the lower league clubs. That is something you don't find in other league there is much more evenness
  2. Re: Ribery cheers for the greater than or less than signs I always get those mixed up. Basically how I see it though is you are making two arguments 1: The English League is the best league in the world. 2: The German League is MUCH Worse then the English league. I agree with your first statement I have never tried to claim that the English league is worse then the German league cause it isn't. It is strongly in the top 3. Cant say its the undisputed number one cause all three top leagues (English, Spanish, Italian) all bring different aspects. So all I have to do is convince you that th
  3. Re: Ribery All teams loose games. Thats ridiculous to say that oh look Bayern a bad result against Bolton. Look at Chelsea they lost to a second division team in the FA cup. A cup that is taken VERY seriously in England. ManU lost to Portsmouth. ManU Lost to BOLTON. ManU lost to Man City. ManU Lost to West Ham. Liverpool lost to Reading. My point is big teams loose games as well against weaker teams all the time. There is not much difference between the Ribery and Cole in terms of just looking at their stats. Ribery has 9 goals in 34 appearances. Cole has 7 from what I can tell. I'm not say
  4. Re: Ribery Ribery is quite deserving of his 95. But on Bayen Munchen so is Luca Toni the both of them should be 95. The problem is everybody here is comparing him to Joe Cole. Yet they probably don't watch the German League week in and week out. Add to the fact that yes I do agree that Joe Cole should go up to 94. 1: Ribery plays on France France >>>>>>>>>>England. The english just aren't cutting internationally wise right now. But I'm confident an English side will win Champions League....you never know though. 2: Ribery plays for Bayern Munchen Bayern Munc
  5. Re: First Ever 99? it has everything to do with it. It doesn't look good if a player who is considered the best in the world doesn't win any team trophies. It just wouldn't make sense the best player in the world should be able to lead his team to major trophies. And be the deciding factor. I'm a ronaldo fan he is amazing. But i want him to win some major trophies before he goes up to a 99. Only one player has ever been rated a 99 and that was Ronaldinho and that was when he was on top of the world. Nobody debated his skill. He won Champions League and did well with Brazil. Now I would like t
  6. Re: First Ever 99? If Ronaldo wins champions league and gets to at least the semi's in Euro Cup with Portugal then I will stand by SM giving him the 99. But right now he isn't there yet. He's missed out on some individual and team trophy's this season, but there is still the EPL, Champions League, and the multiple golden boot awards. Wait till the end of season before giving anybody a 99 rating.
  7. Re: Manchester United Rating Changes I Said it once I will say it again Currently no player in the world deserves a 99 rating although Cristiano is the closest to that. I would almost put him on par with Ronaldinho when he was rated a 99. If he wins champions league and gets to at least the semi's in Euro Cup with Portugal then I will stand by SM giving him the 99. But right now he isn't there yet. He's missed out on some individual and team trophy's this season, but there is still the EPL, Champions League, and the multiple golden boot awards. 10. Re: Manchester United Rating Changes Care to elaborate. Simpson has played in what like 2 games for Ipshwich Town. It's not like he wont ever go back up to a 84. This is the main problem with the whole Rooney thing and so on people here feel that if a player goes down they will never go back up. That is just ridiculus. Right now Simpson isnt play enought to deserve a 84. Thats not to say in the future maybe even next rating he will regain the 84. Right now Rooney I guess deserves a 96 but when the last rating changes happened I'm sorry but he deserved to go down to a 95. Right now he is pl

  12. Re: nesta? Personally I don't think he should go down in rating he just went down to a 96 not too long ago. I feel there needs to be more higher rated defenders in the game. And you can't just start dropping players because they are injured for 3 months. Rooney's been injured a handful of times but hasn't gone down in rating but then when he gets back he plays decent Nesta should only go down if after he returns he starts to really play bad. But for now he is still one the most most feared CB in the world. 96 is spot on cause that puts him equal with Terry, Puyol and Cannavaro. Right now ther
  13. Re: Luca Toni well I think its obvious that the conspiracy continues. This time its going to be... well Ribery scored a goal against England "The Greatest Team in the History of Mankind which no other team can match." But in all honesty I find the ratings minus a few over rated and under rated players to be pretty spot on. I personally feel that there are a handful of players in the German League who should be rated higher. Lucio Luca Toni Bastian Schweinsteiger Miroslov Klose Diego Rafael Van Der Vaart these being the biggest names all of them should be 95 respectively. I'm not goin
  14. Re: Luca Toni Ok, so now that Franck Ribery has gone up to a 95, which I think he deserves. The only problem now is this means any player on Bayern Munchen can get above a 94. I thought it was previously stated that no Munchen players would be above a 94 until next year when they will be in Champions League. So in light of this new discovery I think it only makes sense to raise Luca Toni to a 95 as well. Because his stats and level have play really do reflect that of a 95 rated player.
  15. Re: Hey Canadians! We've got a star on our hands! technically he's born in South AFRICA, but he basically grew up his entire life in Victoria, BC. I think he moved to Victoria before he was even two. Just a side note Nash's brother plays soccer for my local team the Vancouver Whitecaps and I've often seen Steve in the stands. Really Really off topic though.
  16. Re: Hey Canadians! We've got a star on our hands! I agree that was one of the worst calls I have seen at a professional level. The Worst. Also just because you East coast guys only have grass 2 months of the year doesnt mean ALL of Canada does. Over here in the good part of Canada we have grass 12 months out of the year. I'm both Canadian and Australian and I would never question that Australia produces more "quality" players then Canada, however, it has been pointed out that a lot of Eastern Canada does have grass for only 2 months of the year. 2 is being a bit harsh I would say more like 4
  17. Re: Hey Canadians! We've got a star on our hands! First off Lil Kick Kid Ice Hockey is NOT the most played Sport in Canada. NOT!!! Soccer has been for years the most played sport and when you look at television demographics the world cup gets a much larger viewing in Canada then any Stanley Cup Final does (The NHL Championship). The difference is money. No money is put into the soccer programs and they are a joke and this is where the rest of the world mocks us. For the longest time only one coach from Canada was allowed to attend the annual FIFA meetings, but he had nothing to do with the Na
  18. Re: david silva vs raul garcia well as the other guys have said it depends on what u need but if you're buying a player for the sake of buying a player then I would personally go for David Silva. I feel he has proven himself more and should be a future 93 to 95 where as I see Raul Garcia reaching his max at 93. That's just what i think.
  19. Re: Michael Ballack yeah he should go back up to a 94 he basically went down to a 93 and then to a 92 because of injury and he has returned to his vintage form. I look forward to the day when he will be a 96 again. Not now but maybe sometime next season or even after Euro depending on how he does.
  20. Re: Arsenal changes Please keep in mind that my rating changes are also subjected to other teams rating changes. Such as Nani and Lennon to a 90 and so forth so dont look at these rating and compare them to what ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are rated curently but what they will be rated in the future. Jens Lehmann 91 -> 89 Manuel Almunia 89 -> 91 Lukasz Fabianski 85 -> 83 Vito Mannone 70 -> 70 Gael Clichy 91 -> 92 Armand Traore 83 -> 83 Bakari Sagna 91 -> 93 Justin Hoyte 86 -> 85 Kerrea Gilbert 80 -> 78 Kolo Toure 94 -> 94 Philippe Senderos 8
  21. Re: Montolivo, Kerzhakov, Cana, Zubar,Kranjcar, and Ochoa Ochoa raised to a 91 cause he is one of the best GK's in the world and should probably be a 92 basing on pure talent. He is amazing and when is contract is closer to being finished he will come over to Europe and dominate. He's only 22 and most GK's starting hitting their peak at age 29. He was also nominated for the Ballon D'or in 2007 and was voted the best GK at the latest Copa America. He is the real deal and deserves this rating increase.
  22. Re: Real Madrid Ratings Because Real Madrid is the best team in Spain this year and they were last year. Right now 7 points clear they shouldn't have that many drops in the player ratings. Iker Casillas 96 - 96 "Been amazing and is the closest of all GK to making a 97 but I dont think quite yet if they win Champions League he should go up to a 97" Jerzy Dudek 85 - 85 no change hasn't played. But is still deserving of a 85 Jordi Codina 82 - 82 see above Gabriel Heinze 92-91 still an amazing player but hasn't played enough at Real madrid to remain at a 91 Marcelo 87 - 91 is the starting
