Tough one, but I would go for RVP because Hernandez has gone way of the boil and will never get above 91 IMO. Neymar has limitless potential but success is far from guaranteed and even if he is as amazing in Europe as in Brazil, it would still take him a while to get to 94.

Made a free XI to go with the best transfers:

    Subs:
    Billie Jones
    Matthew Upson
    David Jones
    Owen Hargreaves
    Orlando Sa
    Darren Pratley
    Kieran Westwood
    Sylvain Marveaux
I did it based on game time and success for their clubs, which is why Hargreaves and Upson only make the bench.
Where do you guys think they could finish? I think that they could avoid relegation if they were put out as a squad. Just goes to show what talent is available for free if you're smart.

★★ Wrexham Induct Two Prolific Strikers ★★

To celebrate another successful set of Mid Season transfers, Wrexham manager Barnaby Dowling has decided to reward the two outgoing player who he beleives had the greatest impact on the frst half of the season. James McFadden and Jan Sclaudraff are now in the 7777 Hall of Fame for Wrexham!

Arriving at the start of the season fro £2.9 million, James McFadden took Division 4 by storm. In only 14 games and despite a long lay off, he netted and astonishing 19 times with 12 assists and 5 Man of the Match awards. He managed and average rating of 8.57, putting him in the cream of the crop. We wish him the best in Sunny Brazil, where he will play for Vasco De Gama.

Schlaudraff was only marginally more expensive at £3.9 million, and he formed an incredible strike partnership with McFadden in the opening weeks of the season. Following the arrival of Daniel Sturridge on loan, he dropped back into central midfield, with no less success. 13 goals and 7 assists in 17 games is an impressive haul. Even more impressive were his 4 Man of the Matches and and average rating of 8.76, the best in the Division bar Sturridge.

This is for newer set ups where you start with pretty much untouched teams.
A lot of people want to take on the ultimate challenge of a team from Division 5 to Division 1 in an English Championship. In both forum and non-forum worlds, just getting that first promotion can be difficult. Buying and selling players you have never heard of to build a team capable of winning the league outright (only 1 team gets automatically promoted) can seem daunting. I have therefore decided to create an ultimate guide to winning Division 5 based on my experiences with Wrexham in English Championship 7777:

It was very close, which was mainly to do with the fact that I am tactically terrible. However, my squad was a lot better rating wise than any other. Here’s how to do it.
    Pick the right club
This is very important, especially if you plan to get to Division 1 or 2.
--> Look for a large stadium - Gateshead, Darlington, Wrexham are all good examples.
--> Look for a budget of at least 3 million, or a squad with a decent value.
--> Do not look at individual players, you will sell them all anyway.
    The first transfer round
Easily the mot important factor in the season, you must use ALL your money and ALL your players to build the firs squad. Buy only risers, and only those who will rise in the next 2 months. Supplement this with about 10 players who are rated between 70 and 72 and have a decent chance of rising. Some good examples would be
    A balanced squad would be:
4 x 77-78 (Must rise before TB comes off) Eg: ISIMAT MIRIN (78)
9 x 74 - 76 (Must rise before TB comes off) Eg: DANIEL SEABORNE (75)
10-12 x 70 - 72 (Can be a mixture of short term and long term investments.) Eg: Martin Chudy (72), Fofo (70)
Obviously this list is just a guideline that must be adjusted based on how much money you have. ALWAYS SPEND EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT!!!
--> DO NOT buy for the long term
--> You can find good risers on the forum, or by trawling through teams and stats.
--> Buy almost all the over 72s from the FIRST divisions of England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Holland. These are updated regularly and provide plenty of risers.
--> Avoid all competition - it eats into your profits.
--> Common jumps are 78-82, 78-83 & 75-80. look out for them as they are very profitable.
--> Except that you will be in debt for the whole 2 months before you sell these players on.
    Loans
Make sure all the players you loan are over 80 and don’t to get them in positions where you don’t need them. Getting a GK on loan can be helpful because risers are hard to find.
    Rotation
Rotate the squad during the period of 3 games a week. Designate the Monday games for your second 11. Play your strongest team otherwise. If you have a winnable cup game, give it a go because a draw against PL team can bring a big windfall.
    The Second Round
At this point you should be doing will, but you might be in a close battle. The second round of transfers are where you can pull away. Make up a shortlist of all the players you want - these should be a mixture of risers (eg Viergever) and players who are very cheap for their rating (eg Bebe). The first team should all be at least 80 by after this and the second 11 75-78. Most of your players should have risen - SELL THEM ALL. Buy players as you sell to avoid your squad size getting as low as 21. In some cases it is good to do player trades but it is usually more efficient to sell then buy. Don’t sell the 70-72s who haven't risen and by more to replace those who have (this is mainly to keep numbers up so don’t worry too much).
--> If a 75 is clearly no longer a riser, sell him and buy a 75 who now is.
--> Buy players who will rise very soon so they can make a big impact right away.
    --> Expect only external bids
--> If you have any young players who have grown in stature, try selling them to internal clubs for more than their value. I managed to this with Sanchez Ilie.
--> Don’t get sentimental over your players.
--> have a look to see if you can improve your loans at this point.
    Win
You should now have the squad to dominate the rest of the season. The 3rd round does not come until after the season has ended and so is not included.
Using this method I won Division 5 in 7777 with 99 points and finished with a squad value of £51.6 million (not including loans).
Good luck and I’d love to hear you’re feedback. Also, I wasn't sure where to put this so I hope here is OK.

I'm not anti-capitalist, but I am very suspicious of it. It is by far the fastest way of generating wealth for an economy but a free market leaves terrible inequalities that are often down more to luck than merit.
The whole concept of employment involves the employer paying the worker slightly less than the money the worker generated and keeping the difference. This s fine by me so long as the worker gets a fair deal. The problem with capitalism, especially in times of high unemployment, is that businesses can exploit by paying them less when they are in no position to find another job. This can lead to the 1% / 99% we are going towards now.
Free market theory works very well in principal, but in practice, those with poor educations or in weak financial position suffer disproportionally to others. Only unionizing can help to balance the power between worker and employer.
I believe in equality of opportunity and I feel unrestrained capitalism goes against this idea. Someone who can afford to send a child to private school, live in a nice area, or move to get into a better state school gives their child a massive advantage. Everyone deserves to at least an equal on the starting blocks. I find school work very easy - does this mean that I deserve to earn more in the future than someone who is struggling? I don't work harder than them.
Finally I believe that their should be a safety net for me or anyone else should I fall victim to mental illness, bankruptcy, drug addiction etc. I think that letting a small minority scrounge on benefits for life (not that we shouldn't do all we can to stop this) is a small price to pay to know that I will always have a minimum standard of living, regardless of whether I deserve it.

Sorry Dave what is hypocritical i don't follow?
I accept its readily available but the timing of this information surfacing is very cynical, but this is nothing new as history shows.
There's a very good argument to suggest that there isn't a working class - the divides have become somewhat faded over the past few decades, its now very hard to tell between working and middle class what with so many people in white collar jobs nowadays. The times of getting a job in your local foundry, mill, mine, factory etc are well and truly diminishing.
I'm afraid this 'lay-about culture', as the media like to dub it, is a combination of many things: flaws in the benefit system; a feeling amongst 'working class' people that they have no place in society due to the lack of manual labour/unskilled work available in deprived areas of the country in the North and West; and the failures of the past Labour government.
Its a shame really but i don't think there is a party which properly represents the ordinary man in this country anymore, i'm growing more and more disillusioned by the Labour Party.

I'm a huge fan of Armero's. Don't think he'll be as strong defensively as the two but he's a huge threat going forward with his pace and strength. Would probably more reach Clichy/Kolarov's level (more Kolarov depending on how you rate each one).
Been quite surprised with Pisano. Lega Pro 1 to Serie a in 2 seasons, regular starter at a mid-table/European contending team. He's got the talent. Career in the 90's? Probably not. High 80's will probably be his peak.
Maggio could be a 91, however I doubt he'll get it soon. As long as Cavani, Lavezzi and Hamsik stay 91, Maggio won't get it as he's not as good. Though with the league, CL and International performances, he's good enough. But at his age, a rise will be tough through SM playing in Serie A.

Definitely get rid of Evra for Marcelo. Fabio and Rafael won't rise for a while now so they would be next on my list. Otherwise all those players must be kept.
The best buys would be Eriksen, Munain, Marcelo and Gomez. Don't bother with Anderson.

    Port Fail 1-5 Wrexham

Finally we get our first win of the season. Still unbeaten with 5 from 4 and we're sitting in 8th place after 3 games, including one with Northampton. James McFadden will a goal and 2 assists means he's joint top scorer with 3. Reasonably happy with the start to the season, looking to string together a few wins on the trot though.

James McFadden had feared for his career after yet another injury in may...
