  3. Re: contract ending at end of the season?
  4. Re: C. Ronaldo Hey Modi mate,i think Ronaldo is more of a winger and not really a striker. He has played a couple o times last season but he really plays best as a winger. Now with Anderson and Tevez(if he comes) in the squad i don't think u'll see him playing striker at all.
  5. Re: Leo Messi I think Messi will further increase Did u see his goal against Mexico,it was amazin

  9. Shevchenko - struggled at Chelsea. MILAN EYE £15M SHEVA SWOOP Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set for showdown talks with Andriy Shevchenko before deciding whether to sell him back to AC Milan at a massive loss. Shevchenko has struggled at Stamford Bridge since arriving for £30million last summer, and now the Daily Express claim Milan are ready to test the London club's resolve by offering half that amount to bring him back to the San Siro. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly happy to let the £130,000-a-week striker go back to Italy, but the final decision rests with Abramovich. The billionaire is a personal friend of Shevchenko, and is keen to give the striker more time to impress. But if the Ukraine international wants to return to Milan, then Abramovich could let him go despite the huge loss on the fee.
  10. Re: Babel to Liverpool???? Babel and Yossi Benayoun. BABEL COMPLETES ANFIELD SWITCH Big-spending Liverpool have confirmed their capture of Ajax forward Ryan Babel for £11.5million. The 20-year-old Holland international, who starred in this summer's European Under-21 Championships in his homeland, has signed a five-year deal with the Anfield club. He joins midfielder Yossi Benayoun on Merseyside and both were unveiled at a joint press conference. Babel can play as a striker or wide midfielder on either flank and will wear the number 19 shirt for the Reds. Speaking to the club's website, the Dutchman claimed he found it easy to decide on the move despite reputed interest earlier in the summer from Arsenal. "I was in Aruba at the end of last week when I was told to start thinking about Liverpool because a move could happen,'' Babel said. "I have met Rafael Benítez and my conversation with him was the moment I knew the deal would get done. "He is like the ideal father-in-law. He has a lot of football know-how and he told me that I would be challenging with six other players for four positions. I have a good feeling about things. "I met (Liverpool striker) Dirk Kuyt at training, who I knew from the national team. At that moment he did not feel like a rival but I suppose that is what will happen. "It was very important how the coach spoke to me, how I would fit in his team. After that conversatio n I knew it was the right decision.''
  11. Re: tevez to united Tevez - on his way to United. TEVEZ SET FOR UNITED MEDICAL Carlos Tevez is set to be confirmed as a Manchester United player next week. The Argentina striker will return to England after playing in Sunday's Copa America final against Brazil to undergo a medical at Old Trafford. Personal terms have already been agreed and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is confident the protracted saga is coming to a close. Ferguson said on Thursday night: "I think we have got the player - we think he is our player and are very hopeful. "Everyone was excited when we thought we could get Tevez. He's exciting, his form is fantastic and at 23 he can get better." Manchester United have agreed an initial loan deal for Tevez with the option of a permanent transfer, which could be worth over £30million. They had hoped to push the transfer through last week but it stalled after the Premier League insisted West Ham, who hold Tevez's registration, must receive the majority of the fee. That is because West Ham were allowed to keep playing Tevez last season after assuring the Premier League all third-party clauses in the player's contract had been severed. But Tevez's advisor Kia Joorabchian, who owns the player's economic rights, is confident he is on sound legal footing to push the transfer through. Joorabchian released a statement indicating all three parties involved in the transfer - understood to mean Manchester United, West Ham and his own company MSI - were confident "the administrative issues will be settled in the next few days." Joorabchian added: "We don't see any problems. I spoke to United tonight and they are confident they will have him registered next week. "Carlos will come on Tuesday, have a medical on Wednesday at United and hopefully we will have administrative issues sorted next week. "Personal terms between Carlos and United have been agreed in full. He feels confident now he is a Manchester United player." But the deal must still be approved by the Premier League - and their position has not changed. The league have warned Tevez's registration will not be transferred to Manchester United unless they are satisfied West Ham conducted the deal. A spokesman said: "Any deal for Carlos Tevez has to be done directly with West Ham United. "They hold the registration and we will not transfer the registration unless a deal is done directly with the club." West Ham confirmed no deal had yet been done and could not be done without the agreement of both the club and the Premier League. Ferguson has maintained all along that Manchester United want Tevez but would not stand for a "dodgy" deal. He added on Sky Sports News on Thursday night: "The Premier League seem to be holding back, I think they probably want to make sure everything is transparent. "We want that to be the case - we don't want a bad taste surrounding the transfer, we want it done cleanly."
  12. Re: Robin Van Persie vs Fernando Torres Torres any day he outclasses Van Persie in avery aspect of the game
  13. I was really looking foward to see Tevez come to Manu when i realized that now Manu would have 7 strikers! Namely:- Rooney Saha Smith(can play as an attacking mid) Tevez Ole Gunnar Dong Anderson(can also as an play attacking mid) It was then i realized that Manu have Excess mids and keepers! Mids:- Giggs Ronaldo Nani Hargreaves Scholes Carrick Fletcher Richardson Eagles Keepers:- Van Der Sar Foster Kuszczak Heaton What do u think Fergie should do? Should he sell some players or just keep them(if he just benches them they would anyway want to leave) What do you guys think?
  14. Re: Fantasy Premier league for new season! Mate i've just joined ur league. My teams name is the 'Stormtroopers' Will spread the message
  15. Re: Tevez going to United I hope he really comes coz Tevez is really fickle minded.First he says that he was excited about playing 4 the gunners and the very next day he said he would like to go to Inter but in the end rejected Inter. Then he said he would love to play 4 Real but now he says would relish the opportunaty 2 play 4 Manu. Anyway hope he comes coz i think he will really link up well with Giggs. But i do have this feeling that he and Rooney will not do very well together.Infact i think he would do pretty well with Smith (but they are rumors that he will leave if Tevez comes ) But what the h*ll hope he comes.
  16. Now we all know it would be unfair or rather impossible to compare Fabregas with C.Ronaldo, but i do think it would be fair to say that Ronaldo's attack is better than Fabregas' defence or vise-versa. The porblem is though i don't know which of them is better in his respective position. What u guys think? Hope u guys have an answer. If any1 does think this article is kr*p then don't bother voting and do tell me.
  17. Re: Eduardo da Silva Yanker, mate i completely agree with u about the fact he should be 91 but ont 92 coz he has on been playing in a big league like the EPL. Here r his career stats (their pretty good): Year Club App Goals 2001-2007 Dinamo Zagreb 104 73 2002-2003 Inter Zaprešić (loan) 15 10 He has scored 83 goals in 119 appearences and averager 0.6 goals a match That is pretty impressive isn't that?
  18. Re: FABIO AURELIO, Rodrigues I do agree that Aurelio should go up to atleast 90 coz he does have the potential to do well but the fact that he has not played much this season is the reason as 2 y he is only 89. But i think that Riise is a much better player than Aurelio infact i think Riise is a class apart.
  19. Has David Beckham fallen from heven to save England In Englands last two matches he has made 3 assits and 4 goals were scored in the two games! He created 3 of them and is playing like a man possessed.I think England will really prosper with him. EURO 2008 HERE COMES ENGLAND
  20. Re: Klaas Jan Huntelaar Sorry mate but i cheaked and the last thread posted on Huntelaar was in Dec 06 thats quite a while ago.
  21. Klaas Jan Huntelaar In SM i think Huntellar is under rated. He is only 91.Defoe is also 91 but is nothing compared to Huntelaar. To support my argument cheak out Huntelaar's career stats. He has scored 127 goals in 181 games till now and is only 23 years old. He has scored:- 26 goals in 35 game for AGOVV Apeldoorn 41 goals in 60 games for SC Heerenveen 60 goals in 76 games for Ajax Amsterdam Now that is what i call sweet. What do u guys think?
