This was going to be a Normal Youth Squad when I first started (Just buying all young players) but then I changed it to a Under 21 team and then see if any of the players become the next best thing. (Most of the First Teamers are already top players)

Ricardo Kaka reacted to Sinny in Ghana 2008 - African Cup of Nations
Tom_WBA's Guide to The 2008 African Cup of Nations
Spent ages on this, and having the right sources I have come up with a guide for the Group Stages.
Group A to D will be on Seperate Posts or it's just too big
    Group A:
    Ghana
    Guinea
    Morocco
    Namibia
    Fixtures:
    January 20, 2008:
    Ghana v Guinea
    January 21, 2008:
    Namibia v Morocco
    January 24, 2008:
    Guinea v Morocco
    Ghana v Namibia
    January 28, 2008
    Ghana v Morocco
    Guinea v Namibia
    My Predictions:
    January 20, 2008:
    Ghana 2-0 Guinea
    January 21, 2008:
    Namibia 0-1 Morocco
    January 24, 2008:
    Guinea 1-2 Morocco
    Ghana 3- 0 Namibia
    January 28, 2008
    Ghana 2-1 Morocco
    Guinea 0-0 Namibia
Ghana: Are looking to win their 5th African Nation Cup Title, are hosting this Competition.
    Star Player: Michael Essien
    Watch Out For: André Ayew
My Comment: Ghana prefer to play on the Wings and dominate any African midfield with Essien and Appiah, but Appiah is missing the Competition, the midfield will struggle without him.
Morocco: Their 13th appearance, have won 1 African Nation Cup Title.
    Star Player: Youssef Safri
    Watch Out For: Abderrahman Kabous
My Comment: Prefer to Play a defensive mind, conceding the least goals the last competition. But with Safri missing the qualifiers, the defensive mind will be low.
Guinea: Their 9th appearance, yet to win the African Nation Cup.
    Star Player: Pablo Thiam
    Watch Out For: Ismael Bangoura
My Comment: They have a good squad, except they have no co-operation with each other, have been known to have brawls between own players.
Namibia: Their 2nd appearance, yet to win the African Nation Cup.
    Star Player: Robert Nauseb
    Watch Out For: Floris Diergaardt
My Comment: They pulled off a shock qualifying and will not go through imo.

    Internazionale vs Spartak Moskva

Italian Giants face SMFA Champs Cup runners up Spartak Moskva in a friendly tonight as Sir Mike Giggs wants revenge on Mr Tebbut. How many of you are tired of that Mr Teb always winning and getting good players? Well If you are you must watch this match! It may seem like a friendly but to Sir Mike Giggs it's personal!

"That Teb thinks he's the man with his 124 Man Squad well he's not Tebthereb he's TebtheJeb Who does he think he is? Well it's not fair in my opinion he always gets the good players for cheap. I will be looking forward destroying his so called "Ultimate Team" .

Teb has announced that he will be playing his latest Signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic ( You told me I was in 1st place to sign him Sparky!) and Ruud Van Nistelrooy tonight.

Old Man Teb Revealing his new Signing Ruud Van Horseface

"Well who needs all the great players He's got when you have ANDIRY SHEVCHENKO ON YOUR TEAM" Said Sir Mike Giggs after he heard about Moskva latest signings

PSV 3-4 AjaxWhile Ross Philp fielded his strongest possible eleven, Greig Spence forgot to change the team from Monday's cup match although it still included stars such as Gomes, Salcido, Kromkamp, Fernandez, Tomasson and Afellay. Both teams took part in a seven goal thriller between the two sides favourite for this season's league title.
After only one minute, Luis Suarez kept up his fantastic goalscoring form as he received the ball on the left, skipped inside his marker, and curled in a shot from 25 yards. On 24 minutes, Manuel Da Costa levelled the match after losing his marker and thumping a shot under the keeper. Only five minutes later, just before the half-hour mark, Mika Vayrynen glanced a header in off Stekelenburg's far post. But only ten minutes later, the ball was pulled back from the by line to the unmarked Edgar Davids to level for the visitors.
Ajax were dealt a blow only one minute after the break as Ibrahim Affelay put PSV back ahead as he smacked the ball past the keeper after a poor clearance. Cassio Lincoln who has been a fantastic signing for Philp got Ajax back on level terms by rounding the keeper and finishing from an acute angle. And in the 66th minute, Dutch supremo Klaas-Jan Huntelaar got the all important winner for the league leaders turning quickly and scoring.

    Werder Bremen 2-1 Ajax
It was Ross Philp's second SMFA Champs Cup campaign in his career as he had already led Celtic to the knockout stages in his managerial career. He was looking to get off to the best possible start, but knew it would be tough against Werder in Bremen, with Mike as manager.
In the 11th minute, Luis Suarez again got himself on the scoresheet with his first SMFA Champs Cup goal in his career. He missed the chance, but finished at the second attempt with a toe-poke. It gave Ajax that all important first goal, and something to protect. But only a couple minutes later, Ajax target Clemente Luis Fabiano went on a foraging run and and struck to send the home fans wild! Mikel Arteta twice missed good chances, before Cassio Lincoln saw his chip cleared off the line by the back-peddling Werder Bremen defender.
Cassio Lincoln somehow fired over the bar from six yards, as Suarez's drive whistled past the post, but only after Maarten Stekelenburg saved tremendously to keep the score at 1-1. In the 67th minute, Michael Essien got the goal which turned out to be the winner, as he used his pace and his power to force his way into the Ajax penalty box before lashing home. Ajax wasted chances as they looked for the equaliser with Luis Suarez and Edgar Davids both missed.
With Lyon hammering Fenerbahce in Turkey, the table looks like this at the moment:

Real Madrid the season so far
    Results
Madrid started off slowly with a 1-1 draw with Osasuna who have fallen to 16th since the draw with Milan.
They then followed this slow start with a 7 match unbeaten run with 6 wins against Getafe, Betis, Zaragoza, Santander, Recreativo de Huelva and finally Levante with a drwa in the middle of these wins with a strong Valencia side which was a pleasing result for both managers.
Then came an un charecteristic loss to Athletico Madrid 3-2 Jewiss only had nice words to say about Valencia manager Dali Gaitor, saying ' we were outplayed in all departments and i must admit that i got the tactics wtong, even though 2 key players were out with injury allthough that is not an excuse as we do have a strong team'.
After this loss Jewiss knew that he would have to come back strongly as the chairman was gunning for his head after the loss, and he answered his critics with wins at Murcia and Numancia, which after the setback has put madrids season back on track.
    Transfers
The most notable of all transfers was the transfer in of Messi, Jewiss contreversially parted with Nistelrooy and Raul to get his man but he said this 'Both the outgoing players are getting on a bit, i wanted to build a squad for the future and IMO Messi fits the bill most perfectly', there may have been contreversy about the outgoing players but the season so far seems to have done justice to the decision.
Cristian ledesma has also been brough in he is well known for his passing ability and range of passing. He has so far been a good contribution to the squad and Jewiss has been pleased with how he has fitted the bill.
40 youngsters have aswell joined the most notable, Moutouakill from charlton and highly rated Mputu.
The outgoers have been, Cannavaro for bojan another quality young star and Milito who has worked his way into the bavkline well.
Casillas has also gone and this seems to be a transfer Jewiss has regretted but the 2 players who have come in in place of him Valdes and Toure have both had very good seasons so far.
Robben has also gone to liverpool, with Voronin and Benayoun coming to Madrid Voronin had played well for Madrid scoring 2 goals and Benayoun ahd been on loan and top manager Sinar's Lazio helping them climb so high this season. Jewiss had been planning on keeping him at the club but Sinar came in with an offr, and due to the hoigh ammount of respect from Jewiss to Sinar was never going to refuse.
Salagado is the only other outgoer to B'burn for 13 mill.
Jewiss has had this to say, ' so far this season we have played well but we still need to bring another defender and negotiations are in progress with chelsea for player Ashley Cole at the moment, and we are also interested in Fabregas of course although its not going to happen.
'I am plaeased with what is happeing at the cluba dn the fans have been great and i am lokking froward to some silverware this season.

Werder Bremen 0 0 Bayern Leverkuson

Bremen continue their downfall since they lost 4-0 in a Shock Result to MSV Duisburg. Bremen drew with Bayern Leverkuson 0-0 as they had 60 Rated Forward in defence instead of Burdisso or Camara

Bremen were the better team but could not just find the back of net. The best chance of the game was probably in the 87th Minute were Lucho Gonzalez had an open goal but Whacked it over the Crossbar.

This means Bremen fall down to 3rd as Bayern Munich won their game but Bremen Still continue their Undefeated season in the league.Werder Bremen now face experienced manager Ross Philip and his Ajax team in the SMFA Champs Cup on the 30th November.

    Karlsruher SC 0-4 Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen thrashed Karlsruher SC 4-0 while leaders Berlin beat Hannover 6-0 to remain on top. Bremen are Still undefeated and are through in both Cups.

Michael Essien opened up the scoring just 7 minutes into the game chipping the ball over the keeper too make him and the defenders look utterly useless.

Michael Essien in his Chelsea Days
Just 3 Minutes later the defence made another mistake and left Man of the Match Luis Gonzalez loads of space to score from 10 Yards. Bremen scored again in the 25th Minute this time it was italian striker Luca Toni who skipped past his marker and Curl the ball in the back of the net from 25 Yards.

Man of the Match Luis "Lucho" Gonzalez

3 Minutes into the second half Luca Toni once again Scores with a brilliant Strike, Kornetzky had no chance of saving that! After that Bremen could relax for a while. Arteta was desperate to get on the Score sheet but could not find the back of the net his smashing 25 Yarder shot hit the cross bar.

Italian Striker Toni wants the Bundesliga Golden Boot this year.

"Once again we played brilliantly every single player on the pitch gave it a 110% out there. They deserve a rest, so for the Cup game I will feild a reserve side but include some first teamers."Said Werder Bremen manager Sir Mike Giggs

Sheffield United put up another disappointing performance before cup match against Northampton Town
"Huh??? Shield match against Arsenal?" was the comment Sir Travis made a soon as he was made Sheffield United manager. Who will expect the Blades to win that match?
"Preston North End are a bunch of people who cannot play football. I got injured, and the ref failed to award a penalty, Foster bought me down!" Arce was moaning after the 1-1 draw, and looked miserable as a damaged heel means that he will miss 11 days of action.

    Looking miserable...
They should win Northampton Town with ease, but the Shield match at Arsenal will be coupled with the fact that they will be playuing on away soil.

    Empoli continue good form

Empoli defeated Milan 3-0 to record their 3rs straight league win against the top sides in Serie A. Following wins over Roma and Palermo in the last week, goals from Massimo Maccarone, Andrea Raggi and Luca Saudati secured a famous win.
Empoli now lie 5th in an increasingly tight Serie A table, but manager Jacko pointed out it could be so much better "If anyone looks at our schedule they will notice that our 4 wins have come against Fiorentina, Roma, palermo and Milan, whereas in 5 games against the lesser sides we have only managed to pick up 3 draws - amazing, but saying that I am delighted with the way the team is performing at the moment"
Empoli face mantova in the Italian Cup on monday and will be looking for a result after being knocked out of the Shield on Monday. They also face Atletico madrid in the SMFA Shield on friday but Jacko insists that is the last thing on his list priorities
