  1. Re: Andreas Cornelius (FC København) Unless Cornelius scored a hattrick in every single match, he would never go above 87 or 88 MAX while playing in Superligaen. But he is a hot talent, and I do believe that several clubs in Europe are keeping tabs on him. I don't see him going abroad for the next 2/3 years, but if he keeps up, he will no doubt end up in a club in the better half of a league like Premier League one day. He has taken everyone by surprise, and even I didn't expect this much from him when I posted this thread.
  2. Re: Andreas Cornelius (FC København) He could, but i don't think that he will. Everyone seems excited about Cornelius. If course Vetokele is going to get playing time, but in his debut, where he was subbed in against Lille, he was put in a position as more of a winger on the right flank. Apparently he is a relatively versatile player, and though his pace and strength impressed me, i believe that Cornelius will be put in action throughout the season. Right now there is no reason to believe anything else, because he pretty much scores when he wants, including a goal in the last match against OB, bringing him up on 6 goals in 8 matches.
  3. Re: Andreas Cornelius (FC København) Cornelius is without doubt a first-team regular. He has established himself as an important player in no time, and has now received his first call-up for the Danish national team (!). I don't think he will be playing, but the call-up alone means, that Cornelius is one to be watched in the coming years. Stats for Cornelius after 7 matches in Superligaen: Matches played: 7 (2 as a sub) Goals: 5 This is pretty impressive, and i might add to this, that he has also participated in FCK's 4 qualifying matches for the Champions League, which they sadly did not qualify for. However, they did qualify for Europa League, where he will definetely take part in the action.
  4. Re: Andreas Cornelius (FC København) Here is a video from yesterdays match including Cornelius' goal at 1:25. It's a well executed finish from some way out. If you are a sucker for good goals, you should also check out the 1-0 goal from Santin, which is shown at 0:55. Enjoy! http://front.xstream.dk/fck/resources/swf/?id=574
  5. Re: Andreas Cornelius (FC København) Cornelius has just scored his 4th goal of the season to make it 2-0 against AGF in the 63rd minute. Happy to see him on DB so soon.
  6. Having sold their best forward and all-time topscorer, Dame N'doye, FCK have found themselves lacking possibilities at the front. Being tall, strong and showing good pace, Andreas Cornelius, born March 16th 1993, has impressed during the first matches in his first season as a full-time player in the first team. In 4 mathes (2 of which as a sub) he has scored an impressive 3 goals, and new coach Ariel Jacobs seems to have confidence in the 19 year-old. His competition for a place in the starting XI isn't troubling - Cesar Santin and Mos are the only forwards who could keep him out of the side, but they are both small, quick and good technicians, so the position as a center forward is open, and Andreas Cornelius is getting his chances. He is not currently on DB, but it should only be a matter of time before he is added. Could become a very good player one day - he has definetly got the potential.
  7. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents Notice the exceptionally stupid Brøndby defenders at the goal around 5:10.
  8. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents Ailton has this year, finally, started playing well. He is now a regular starter at FCK, and even though he isnt scoring week in, week out, he is a very important player for the biggest and best danish club. Here are some examples of his skil:
  9. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents This one i am really excited about. Thomas Delaney, FC København Age: 17 (September 3rd, 1991) Position: CM/LM Not on DB Info: Thomas is a very calm player, who always seems secure when holding the ball. He is an intelligent player, and has good sence of the flow of the game. In this season he has played in 6 games for FCK, 3 as a starter, scoring 1 goal. A Champions League appearence is included in the 6, and in that game he scored his 1 goal. He is SAS Ligaens youngest player at the moment, and is highly regarded by FCK manager Ståle Solbakken. Delaney has also played 3 games for Denmark U-18. When he gets added, his rating should be around 75.
  10. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents Time for a couple of talents. Mads Albæk, FC Midtjylland Age: 19 Position: AM/CM Not on DB Info: In 2006 he won the Arla talent award, which is rewarded to the most eyecatching danish talent one time a year. He got his first-team debut at february 28th this year, and he is starting to establish himself as a regular, having started 5 games for FCM this season. He is a good passer, with good pace, and he was also captain for Denmark U-19, before moving up the ranks to Denmark U-21. When he gets added, he should have a rating around 77/78.
  11. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents Keep an eye out for Andreas Laudrup. He has gotten his first appearance for FCN, and he played good, even though he only got around 5 minutes playing time. I can asure you he is even more talented than his big brother Mads, who has, sadly, transferred to Herfølge.
  12. Re: Danish SAS-Liga ratings and talents Ailton has finally begun to play well in Copenhagen, where he has scored 11 goals in 27 matches, where he has started 16, including 2 goals in the 4-0 match against Brøndby, where one of the goals he scored was a fantastic goal with a header. He is even keeping out Nordstrand from the starting XI, who is FCK's topscorer with 14 goals. Ailton could rise to 85 in the next changes, which i think he should.
