Re: Gold Championship 9 - Match reports / Transfers thread Feyenoord 1-3 PSV Scorers Andrei ARSHAVIN (Feyenoord), 16 mins Jefferson FARFAN (PSV), 12 & 55 mins Ismaël AISSATI (PSV), 34 mins Feyenoord endured their first disappointment of the season as they were beaten at home 3-1 against PSV, PSV got the first goal of the game through the young Peruvian Jefferson FARFAN on the 12th minute as he thundered the ball into the net but Feyenoord equalized on the 16th minute through their Russian midfielder Andrei ARSHAVIN, PSV's second goal came courtesy of Ismael AISSATI on the 34th minute and that put PSV 2-1 up going into the break. Jefferson FARFAN got his second of the game on the 55th minute to put PSV 3-1 ahead and that was the way the game ended.

Re: Gold Championship 10 Match Report Thread Benfica 2-0 Besiktas Scorers Scott BROWN (Benfica), 35 mins Lopes NUNO ASSIS (Benfica), 68 mins Benfica bounced back from defeats in their last two games to win 2-0 at home to Turkish side Besiktas, the first goal was scored on the 35th minute through former Celtic man Scott BROWN as he beat two defenders and slotted home perfectly to put Benfica 1-0 ahead and the game was finished on the 68th minute as Lopes NUNO ASSIS put Benfica 2-0 ahead and that was the way the game ended.

Re: Gold Championship 11 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0 Tom Tomsk Scorers Mariusz LEWANDOWSKI (Shakhtar Donetsk), 14 & 75 mins Volodymyr PRYIOMOV (Shakhtar Donetsk), 72 mins Luis FERNANDINHO (Shakhtar Donetsk), 86 mins Shakhtar Donetsk got back to winning ways after two successive draws in their previous games and they won emphatically as it was a 4-0 scoreline at home to Tom Tomsk, Mariusz LEWANDOWSKI got the scoring started as on the 14th minute he pounced on a terrible back pass from the Tom Tomsk defender to put Shakhtar 1-0 up and that was the scoring finished for the first half. The second goal didn't come until the 72nd minute as Shakhtar winger Volodymyr PRYIOMOV poked the ball home to make it 2-0 and only three minutes after the second goal was scored the third came through Mariusz LEWANDOWSKI as he grabbed his second of the game and to make it 3-0 to Shakhtar, the scoring was complete on the 86th minute as Brazilian midfielder Luis FERNANDINHO smashes the ball into the net to wrap up a comfortable day for Shakhtar Donetsk.

Re: Gold Championship 12 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Santos 3-2 Palmeiras Scorers Paulo de Oliveira PEDRINHO (Santos), 12 mins Ribeiro RODRIGO SOUTO (Santos), 34 mins José FABAO (Santos), 85 mins Luís MARTINEZ (Palmeiras), 11 mins Brendon MAX (Palmeiras), 40 mins Santos got their fourth win in a row in the league as they defeated Palmeiras 3-2 at home in what was an entertaining game, the first goal was scored by Palmeiras as Luís MARTINEZ turned quickly and fired a low shot into the bottom corner but as they were celebrating Santos kicked off and went straight up the pitch to make it 1-1 through Paulo de Oliveira PEDRINHO, Santos made it 2-1 on the 34th minute as Ribeiro RODRIGO SOUTO scored a tap in but the scoring wasn't finished in the first half as Palmeiras hit back to make it 2-2 through Brendon MAX and that made the score 2-2 going into the break. The second half wasn't as entertaining as the first in terms of goalmouth action but there was time for a winner as with only five minutes left Santos made it 3-2 through man of the match José FABAO and that sealed the game for Santos.

Re: Gold Championship 12 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Guadalajara 0-2 Santos Scorers Paulo de Oliveira PEDRINHO (Santos), 40 mins Jose ADAILTON (Santos), 75 mins Santos got their third win in a row with a professional 2-0 win away from home to Guadalajara, Paulo de Oliveira PEDRINHO capitalised on a mix up in the Guadalajara defence to score the first goal on the 40th minute and to put Santos 1-0 up at the break. The second goal came from man of the match Jose ADAILTON on the 75th minute and that wrapped the game up for Santos.

Re: Gold Championship 9 - Match reports / Transfers thread Feyenoord 1-0 Heerenveen Scorer Andrei Arshavin (Feyenoord), 10 mins Feyenoord won their second game of the season 1-0 at home to Heerenveen but it was a tight affair and Feyenoord will be happy to overcome Heerenveen as they were beaten twice by them last season, the only goal of the game came on the 10th minute through Feyenoord playmaker Andrei Arshavin.
  8. SM should bring in something where you can change tactics during a game, it could pretty much work like the subs page where you could choose to change to a certain formation at the 60th, 75th minute of the game or something.

Re: Gold Championship 9 - Match reports / Transfers thread Westerlo 0-4 Feyenoord Scorers Jonathan De Guzman (Feyenoord), 12 mins Daniel Agger (Feyenoord), 43 mins Gonzalo Rodriguez (Feyenoord), 50 mins Andrei Arshavin (Feyenoord), 80 mins Feyenoord got their season off to the best possible start as they convincingly beat Westerlo 4-0 away from home, the first goal came from the young Canadian midfielder Jonathan De Guzman on the 12th minute as he ran by a couple of defenders then cheekily chipped the ball over the keeper and it was new signing Daniel Agger who made it 2-0 on the 43rd minute as he rounded the keeper and finished calmly as Feyenoord went into the break 2-0 up. Only five minutes into the second half Feyenoord found the net with their third goal through Argentinian defender Gonzalo Rodriguez and with ten minutes left on the clock, Feyenoord completed the rout as Andrei Arshavin nodded the ball home to make it 4-0 to Feyenoord.

Re: Gold Championship 10 Match Report Thread Beitar Jerusalem 0-4 Benfica Scorers Scott Brown (Benfica), 11 mins Nuno Gomes (Benfica), 32 mins Angel Di Maria (Benfica), 49 mins Nuno Assis (Benfica), 86 mins Benfica put in an impressive display as they hammered Beitar Jerusalem 4-0, it was exactly the kind of result Benfica were looking for after their success in the Mediterranean cup, recent signing Scott Brown got his first goal for Benfica on the 11th minute to put them ahead and it was veteran striker Nuno Gomes who doubled Benfica's lead on the 32nd minute and it was 2-0 to Benfica at half time. It only took four minutes into the second half for Benfica to make it 3-0 and the goal was scored by Angel Di Maria, Nuno Assis finished off the scoring on the 86th minute to make the final result 4-0 to Benfica.

Re: Gold Championship 12 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Santos 2-0 Estudiantes Scorers Rodrigo Souto (Santos), 11 mins Jose Fabao (Santos), 75 mins Santos got their first win of the new campaign as they won 2-0 at home to Argentinian side Estudiantes, the first goal came on the 11th minute as Rodrigo Souto drove the ball home from 20 yards out to put Santos 1-0 up, Santos then went down to ten men as they had center back Willian Betao sent off after he petulantly kicked out at his opponent and that looked to be a turning point in the game but it didn't turn out that way as Santos got their second goal on the 75th minute through man of the match Jose Fabao and the game ended 2-0 to Santos.

Re: Gold Championship 11 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Spartak Nalchik 0-5 Shakhtar Donetsk Scorers Oleksandr Hladkyi (Shakhtar Donetsk), 6, 30 & 43 mins Dmytro Chyhrynskyi (Shakhtar Donetsk), 55 mins Ndri Romaric (Shakhtar Donetsk), 83 mins Shakhtar Donetsk won their second league game of the season and it was a convincing win as they ran out 5-0 winners away from home to Spartak Nalchik, most of the damage was done in the first half and it was all done by one man as young Ukrainian sensation Oleksandr Hladkyi scored a first half hat trick to put Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 up at the break, Dmytro Chyhrynskyi made it 4-0 after the break as his deflected shot ended up in the net on the 55th minute and the scoring and the game was complete when Ndri Romaric got his second goal in a week to put Shakhtar 5-0 up, the win takes Shakhtar Donetsk to the top of the table on goal difference.
