    Football betting!

Re: Football betting! Made some bets for the under 21 internationals tonight. Why do I always seem to favour the home team?

    Football betting!

Re: Football betting! Ah , one of the most vital lessons of football gambling lol. Betting on your own team is dictated by passion and optimism more than anything. I must say though, Everton too did let me down also
  3. Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread Seems as GC200 is assumed to be the GW to join because of the Gold Championships' second century. I'm unfortunately number 6 and number 8 in my respective queues for my clubs and so it looks like I'm probably going to miss out. Just out of curiosity, anyone reserve a club for the next GC created?

    Football betting!

Re: Football betting! Anyone here that bets on Accumulators? It's the most epic tension filled bet anyone can make
  5. Re: Official Gold Championships Discussions Thread I've never been 'addicted' to SM as many of you guys are probably are ... But I do occasionally check up on the forum and the game itself to see whether new Gold Championships have been released so I could try my luck for a big team. I was secretively hoping for something like this where I could reserve my own club but I'd rather participate in a Gold Championship with majority of the clubs being active, a good flowing competitive transfer market and banter on the forum rather than participating in a Gold Championship where the top ten team
  6. Re: Future Career/Life Destinations Well, after literally a year since I've posted on this thread, I can say that there has been massive change to my career destination/plans. I finished my A Levels with BBB which unfortunately didn't suffice as my desired university required ABB to allow me to study International Politics. I went over my grades and marks and found that I was 1 UMS off an A in one of my subjects. I phone up the university, and a very rude receptionist says that I won't be accepted simply because I didn't meet the entry requirement. I can't obviously blame the university, nor
  7. Re: Official A-Level Results Day Thread - Thursday 18 August 2011 After days of panicking and spending hours on the telephone, I have come to the conclusion that I do want to go to university this year regardless and so have managed to find a clearing place at Brunel University for Sociology and Media studies. My desired course would have been International Politics however I was also close to applying for Journalism and so I guess this is pretty close. I was torn between the ideas of retaking my A2 examinations once more, hoping to improve on the BBB I acquired last Thursday, or simply ap
  8. Re: Official A-Level Results Day Thread - Thursday 18 August 2011 So how did everyone do? I did average I guess and ended up with BBB. Rejected by both universities as they wanted ABB. A bit harsh but it's followed by spending hours on the telephone... Hope you all did better
  9. Re: Available Teams, No Job Offers! (GC Teams Only!) Below average Juventus in GC 1. Good depth to the squad however.
  10. Re: Available Teams, No Job Offers! (GC Teams Only!) Gold Championship 87 - Everton - Cahill, Fellaini, Remy, Arteta, Pienaar, Baines A good Everton squad there
  11. Re: Available Teams, No Job Offers! (GC Teams Only!) There are a few very decent FC Schalke's lying round, most with 3+ 90 rated players. FC Schalke - Gold Championship 103 - Carvalho, Rafinha, Zhirkov FC Schalke - Gold Championship 43 - Neuer, Farfan, Westerman
  12. Re: Official A-Level Results Day Thread - Thursday 18 August 2011 Hey mate, appreciate your contribution. Usually if you have met your requirements then there is nothing you should do. UCAS will send a letter to your home in the next few days guiding and instructing you. It would however be wise if you phoned your university and confirmed your place. If you did not meet the required grades then you could always phone the university of your choice to ask whether they will still accept you. There os a high chance they will if you were off your grades by a few UMS. If not then you will ha
  13. Re: Official A-Level Results Day Thread - Thursday 18 August 2011
  14. I could not find a thread on this and so with just under 6 days to go, I thought it would be worthwhile leading up to the day that many of us may dread or be looking forward to. Now as many of you are aware, the results for A Level students and national diplomas are published on Thursday 18 August 2011. We will be able to access our results through UCAS where the universities of our choice will post whether we are accepted or rejected. If accepted, then congratulations, all the hardwork is paid off I guess. If unsuccessful then it's going to be a hectic journey whether it be through clearing
