  1. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread I would like to apologize to the Burton and Hereford managers I have had to recall loan players in order to put together some sort of deal for someone. If it doesnt come off then those players will be loaned out again and you will get them guaranteed if you put a bid in.
  2. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Put my best team out for tonights game (avg 95 rating ) result is smashing leicester city 4-0 away from home. That is 9 goals in 2 games with no goals conceded in the founders cup both with my best team out. If only I could do that in the league then I would probably be in 1st place . I have been so unlucky with injuries and also competing in 4 competitions really prevents me from putting out this team as much as i would like.
  3. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Haha no probs glad someone can make use of him he would struggle to get in my first team
  4. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Danny is courtesy of the generous club of Chelsea. . Lucky you have him for the rest of the season
  5. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Chelsea 2 - 1 Sunderland Bruno 19' De Rossi 80' Higuain 89' Finally first win in 4. Scored in the 80th and the 89th from 0-1 down to win 2-1. Left it late but a wins a win . 2 formation changes proved key, in the end Chelsea were playing 3-3-4. Sunderland couldnt withstand the pressure. Have a good Christmas all
  6. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread I have just noticed that is gonna be tight to get this founders cup finished by the end of the season. If the next round is a group stage that is.
  7. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Nice work mate. I look forward to that group I can argue with it really like you say they look pretty even.
  8. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread HEY!! hate is a strong word . I have withdrawn my bid anyway. I am in need of full-back not midfielders.
  9. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Right I have just worked it out. Its Position changes now i get it. Dunno why it was appearing with +1 in the reports area or on the players themselves. Well thats my early afternoon ruined
  10. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Both have gone up in my reports area And both have +1 (Date 23 Dec 2011) I thought it was odd when I first saw it.
  11. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Sergio Busquets 93>94 and DM/CM to DM/CB A huge result for us now I have another defender. In All honesty with the mass of injuries we had he was playing CB anyway now he is in his actual posistion. In other news Higuain 93>94 Also I have signed alex song from Liverpool in a straight swap with David "liability" Luiz
  12. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Cesc Fabregas Makes the Switch Read All About it Yea just a little article on Fabregas's recent transfer to Chelsea. Enjoy. http://forum.soccermanager.com/showpost.php?p=1851057&postcount=606
  13. Re: English Championship 7777 - Match Reports,Transfer news etc. Cesc Fabregas Completes Move From Arsenal to Chelsea Cesc Fabregas has signed a Two-year contract with Chelsea in a deal worth up to an estimated £50.5m. Chelsea have paid £13m upfront whilst fellow forward Arjen Robben moves the other way to the Gunners on a four-year deal. The former Gunners captain, 24, said he moved across the city to take up "the greatest challenge of my life." Fabregas added: "I have waited a long time for this moment. After eight years at Arsenal I hope to leave you all with many great memories." Fabregas thanked Arsenal fans on Twitter: "To all Gunners: A big thank you for your unconditional support during the last 8 yrs. Just say that I will always carry you in my heart!" Fabregas, who has 62 caps for Spain, said he was ready to make his debut in Saturday's Legue match against Sunderland, but he does not expect to walk into the Chelsea team, with the likes of Busquets and De Rossi currently occupying the midfield roles. Commenting on what he described as "Fair" negotiations, Chelsea coach Tom King said Fabregas had benefited greatly from his time at Arsenal, adding: "Cesc grew up with Barcelona, he became a huge player thanks to Ed Moses at Arsenal, now he has the chance for success and silverware at Chelsea." Despite all of his praise for the gunners fans and the club reports suggested he was unsettled by the clubs poor position in the league (20th) and the prospect of playing in the champions league this season and next and with many other chances of silverware, the offer from Chelsea was to good to turn down. This move comes as a shock for both sets of fans as moves across the city from red to blue and vice versa have caused much tension in the past between both fans and players alike take Ashley Cole for example. Only time will tell if this will be the same for Fabregas but something in the air suggests he is much loved by the Gunner fans and this will not be the case. Chelsea with problems of their own with 3 straight defeats and one draw in the league have seen them drop to 4th 10 points behind surprise runaway leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tom King said “Cesc is hopefully the quality we need to get ourselves out of this sticky patch. I am glad he is on his way so we can really kick on with our season and continue to compete for those titles.”
  14. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Yea i would concur with this. At the end of the day though they are both called the FA Cup and League Cup respectively so it will be difficult to differentiate between the two. The only other way to work it out is by the dates they finish and the payouts. I believe the payout for the shield are higher than that of the cup but dont take me on that. Also I have been thinking how is my Chelsea team in the Champions League on this? I thought of a number of reasons: 1. Defending Champions 2. Qualification through Shield 3. Qualification through Cup Also I was put in Group A in the CL so does this mean Chelsea is first seed. What do you guys think?
  15. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Stoke City 0 - Chelsea 1 I am so surprised that I managed to win tonight. I managed to scrape a 1-0 away win at Stoke. With league form taking an alarming dip as of late I have had to go against my wishes and had to put out the reserve team to prioritize the league. The side I had out tonight had an average of 86 but some kid called Ganchozo (I have no idea who he is) only 78 rated steps ups in the 37th min to score the only goal of a tight game at the Britannia. On a side note former Chelsea front man Francesco Totti got sent of for an awful challange which made seeing out the game a lot easier that it could have been. The defence of the title continues. Just. I am going to have to guard against complacency in that match (no offence). Although dont lose heart tf the league for doesnt pick up though dont expect to be up against a full strength team by any means, and also your fans get to have an awesome away day in London .
  16. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Thats 3 losses in the last 3 games as we plummet down the form table the defense is awful but then again the match engine does us no favours. 1. Why was he time wasting 2 minutes before the end of the match when his team was losing!! 2. Why is the ref sending people of for that it is so petulant 3. Why always me!! Nightmare stuff need a decent CB to sure up this leaky defense.
  17. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread I will give you a antique chair and a honey badger. A both combine to form a similar replacement to van bommel but they are considerably faster
  18. Re: English Championship 8888 Discussion Thread No 'reserve' team out for me. Strongest side available is out to hopefully give the Swans fans the result they are looking for. I will be happy with a point tbh against a team as strong as United
